This is a small business, but small means to talk directly to the owner when there are questions. Steve spent the time to explain the job, to over things with old plumbing that could go wrong. and how they would charge for the work.
Plumber was Tim—34 years experience, friendly and would answer any questions as the job proceeded. When he got into a little bit of unexpected work, there was no complaints—he just competently worked his way through it.
Job was started as scheduled; I got a call from Baumann at 7:30 am when the City of Columbus was on its way to shut off the water at the curb , and I got a call when their plumber was on his way.
I bid the job with another company, and Baumann was more than competitive.
This company provides great service, and live people answer their phone.
This is a A+ company that deserves its 5 star rating.

We had noticed a sewer smell for several days but had not pinpointed the source. When the dishwasher caused the drain to overflow in our back storage room, we called DrainMaster to address the problem. Even though this was a Saturday, the company sent someone out within a few hours. John was friendly and professional. He explained everything he was going to do and answered all our questions. The drain is clear now and working fine. Very satisfied.

They resolved the problem quickly and professionally. It was a reasonable price as well. I would highly recommend this business.

Sent email in to website for toilet repair. Got a phone call back first thing the next day. Appointment made for 2 days later (which was fine due to the Holiday). I had a leaking shower in my house and decided to give these guys a call. They exceeded my expectations and do excellent work. I had an older style 2 handle shower faucet and they upgraded me to a more modern single handle faucet. I love it and would absolutely recommend this place. Awesome plumbers and amazing work!

Around the end of Dec. I contacted Cantrell for a diagnostic after noticing water on the floor where the hot water heater is located (they did the replacement I recalled the diagnostic trip charge was about $80).The tech stated he was in the immediate vicinity.Upon his arrival the first thing that struck me as unprofessional was that he glanced at my shoes on the landing,my bare feet, and continued up the white stairs and across my hard wood floors in his muddy boots.He turned off the main water, placed his finger in the drip pan and stated it couldn't be the water heater because the water in the pan was cold. He asked me to plug the kitchen sink, fill it with water, and then unplug. We were about 5 feet from each other and when I unplugged the sink I noticed the water begin to rise in a tube in the laundry room.He suggested I remove the water from the drip pan with a towel and bucket.I placed a liner in the trash and he removed the liner stating in a sarcastic tone doesn't it make sense? (to remove the liner). He wrapped up by stating it would cost $140 to snake (plus the trip charge fee), to call in the am, and left, all within 15 minutes tops.I resolved with drano.On 1/18 I received an invoice for $265.At 4:43pm I called the office and spoke with an Eleanor who stated that can't be right....we charge $70 for the trip charge and $68/hr for services. She said the trip charge could sometimes double on weekends..understandable but still didn't add up($140, $208 tops).She asked for the initials on the description, I told her TR, she responded oh, the owner I will have to call you back on Monday. No return call but I received a duplicate bill with $265 highlighted in bold.I contacted several plumbers and their response was a $265 15 min diagnostic trip charge was far from standard, even excessive. Inconsistent pay practices? Beware

Technician was competent, price was outrageous. Convenience of not having to find another solution outweighed the lack of value for this install plus warranty. But I will continue to look for a long-term plumbing solution that I can use repeatedly as Eco is not that.

Eddie is the man! I decided to seek professional help after spending hours troubleshooting my kitchen sink clog. I called on a Sunday morning, explained my issue and he gave me an estimate for an hour of work later that evening. Eddie let me know when he was on his way and arrived right on time. He was very professional and cured my drain issue like a pro!

Jason showed up same day, talked me thru options on the phone and again in person, and repaired my water heater in a timely manner at the agreed upon price.

I found a new plumbing company today!! Last night I went downstairs to get some paper towel and found water in the basement. The plastic pipe were they come into house had a leak. Mind you my house is about 30 years old. I call 1 Tom Plumber In the morning and lord and behold this company got me on the schedule for today from 11am to 1pm. The time fit perfectly. John and his partner(I forgot his name) did a professional job! Explaining everything and the cost , very reasonable. On the spare notice I asked John IF they could also replace the outside faucet also. Oh yes we can!
