This morning Marion Martinez came to our home to do a maintenance check on our air conditioner. We used a groupon coupon. Marion was very professional, she explained everything that she would be checking and asked if we had any additional questions. Oakview Mechanical did an EXCELLENT job replacing our furnace and air conditioner. Unlike other companies who we received estimates from, they realized that our vent pipe needed to be upgraded to accommodate a newer furnace, and they completed that for us as well. Tim provided a fair estimate and also took the lead on getting the job done in a timely manner. Thank you!

Plumber did not show up for a scheduled and confirmed appointment. When I called him he gave me an unapologetic excuse about the dispatcher making a mistake, and he promised to call me the following morning to reschedule. I never heard back from him. Very disappointing because this company was well recommended and their failure to appear caused me to have to postpone a major renovation project

Price was $75 higher than quoted over the phone. They left my garage a mess. I paid for camera inspection which they did before the auger, but they did not inspect the line again AFTER the auger. Is it just me or should camera inspection be done before AND after the auger...to make sure the line has been cleared effectively? They were also in a hurry the entire time, and not on my account. I got the feeling that if they had more time, they would have inspected the line after the auger but their timeline took presidence over performing a quality job.

BUT, they do know what they are doing and my drainage problem is fixed...for now. I do however question the longevity of the fix. I sure wish I could verify the effectiveness of the fix with the camera(which I paid for). Oh well, I'll try someone else out next time.

We recently had a fire in the house caused by a fault in our clothing dryer. While here, the utility company cited us for an unrelated fault in our gas lines and Red Tagged us, stating that if a licensed contractor didn't make repairs in five days they would shut off all gas (aka Heat) to the house. After making several calls and hearing that the required work would cost us between $300 to $1,000, we were rather frustrated.

I had noticed a truck in our neighborhood of Advanced Heating and Air and called the number on it that evening. The owner, Bob, soon returned my call even though it was after-hours. He was sympathetic and reassuring. He reworked his schedule to come by the next morning.

After reviewing the Utility notice and the situation he offered to give the building department a call on our behalf and see what he could work out.

The next day he called us back and let us know he had worked out an arrangement that was satisfactory to the building department and that he would take care of the work, clear the Red Tag and came in below the lowest of estimates!

I would highly recommend Bob and Advanced to anyone without reservation. He was sympathetic, honest, efficient and effective. Some might say we were lucky to trip over a contractor with all these attributes; I'd say we were blessed.
