Dennis was very professional and personable. He called a 1/2 hr before scheduled window and showed up at the time he confirmed over the phone. This business is a joke I’ve yet to receive a copy of my recording that I authorized the $60 service fee. “Company” has blocked my number because they are liars. Do not use this company it does not cost 2k to replace a kitchen sink. Rip off. I will be contacting the better business bureau for these illegal practices and the Ohio attorney general. I did enjoy kicking out the plumber. Use at your own cost I believe the plumbers pocket the “service fee” he can buy lunch with his own money not mine. Thanks!

On a rainy Friday night we noticed that our sump pump was not working (and raw sewage water was backing up into our basement). Harrison was over in 26 minutes and diagnosed the problem / came back Saturday morning to correct the issue. When life throws curve balls (in this case our children sneaking Capri Suns and flushing them down the toilet) there is no price tag to put on timely service. Highly recommend!! - David T.

I was not told about an $85 service call fee to obtain a quote regarding interior waterproofing. They wanted $17845 for an interior system. I went with a well known long time competitor for $7000. Total rip off in my opinion. I’ll never call them again.

The issue with Roto-Rooter is that you are going to pay 3-4 times more than you would with other private plumbers. I was recently quoted $16-17k for a job that I found a licensed reputable plumber to do for $4.2k. They will say that their warranty and they fact that they are a large corporate company justifies this, but I would strongly disagree. A price increase of that size is highway robbery, and takes advantage of people who don't know they have other options.If you are okay with significantly overpaying to work with a large brand, Roto-Rooter might be a good option for you. If you are like most people and need to pay fair prices, there are better options out there if you take the time to find them.

This company is a joke... On Sunday 1/6/2019 our Rheem PowerVent water heater stopped working. I called IGS (HVAC / plumbing insurance) first thing Monday morning to explain the problem. They made contact with AAA Advanced Plumbing and told me they would get in contact with me shortly with a time they could come out and fix the water heater. Later in the morning I got a call saying all the plumbers were tied up, but someone would come out to take a look at the water heater. Welp I guess that's better than nothing... A couple hours later someone stopped out for 5 mins to look at the tank to confirm the vent blower was shot. They then told me they should have some prices in the afternoon to fix or replace the tank. Heard nothing until I called Tuesday morning at which time I was told someone would get back to me. A few hours later I got a call with some numbers. They told me it'd be about $830 to replace the blower or $1700 to replace the whole tank. My insurance will cover up to $750 of repairs. While waiting for calls I decided to look up the part myself. A consumer can purchase the blower for $315. This company told me it would be $550. In addition to the outrageous cost of the part, they told me it would take 3 hours to install and needed some modifications to work properly. When I asked what the modifications were they told me it had to be wired into the tank. Ummmm... It has a standard electrical plug that goes into an outlet and a small plug that plugs into the tank. Something that might take a couple mins for someone with two broken hands. So at this point I have to pay $80 out of pocket for something that should take less than 30 mins to replace.

Let me touch base on the water heater cost real quick. $1200 for the tank then another $500 in labor. I could go to Lowes and pick up the same Rheem PowerVent they quoted for $790. So I'm paying an extra $1,000 for what!?

Fast forward to today (Friday 1/11/2019). Guy shows up 1.5 hours late with a box in one hand and a screwdriver in the other. 14 mins later the hot water tank is fixed and running. He then hands me a bill for $18.80. Is this some kind of joke!? I'm not paying that. IGS covers up to $750. You mean to tell me you guys charge $934/hr in labor!?? Get out of here.... What a ripoff!!

I had a leak in my bathroom, and I couldnt find out where it was from. I called the emergency Cleveland Plumber, even though I am in Lakewood, and they came out within an hour. The technician found my leak behind the shower and managed to fix it with a few gaskets he had in his truck. Instead of a few thousand dollards of repairs, it was a much better price. He also serviced my water heater so it would last through the winter.

They went above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great plumbing service in Clevelnad.
