Needed a hand finishing a bathroom faucet install. I've done a handful of these before, but the sink I was working on today was too narrow to fit the basin wrench - plus the nuts were mostly corroded completely through. After a couple hours of tinkering, I gave up and called Kamran at about 11 in the morning, he showed up at 2 and gave a very fair quote.

I don't think he was expecting as long of a job - he ended up having to saw through the double-plated 1950s era faucet with a Dremel - hours of work more than was anticipated on the quote. I'm not going to say the price I was quoted on here, but he stuck to it despite the enormous amount of extra work required.

I would highly recommend this company. Extremely polite, professional, and thorough.

WOW had there tech come and snake my kitchen sink he brake the snake in my drain then tell me they can fix it for 1100 hundred dollars so i asked to speak to the owner get this he walk out get in his truck and leave didn't even put the sink back together good luck if you choose this company 🤬

Dan at 1st Choice was my first choice, in large part because of these reviews. He will always be my choice in the future because of the exceptional service and value. I had one of those plumbing nightmares that kept growing: stopped-up bathroom sink in an old home, thought I could take care of it myself, turns out the pipes were held together by electrical tape, needed to replace both the plumbing and the sink... it was just going on and on, and I wasn't saving money or time. Called Dan, he was over at the next time that was convenient for me. He didn't walk in presuming to do the work, but he was ready to do so. Clearly explained the problems, and outlined and quoted both a short-term solution and a long-term consideration (that is necessary, pricier, but not an emergency). He didn't try to push me into the bigger project, and went right to work on the clog. Done in minutes because a) he has the touch and b) he has the right equipment. Not only that, but he reassembled my new piping and connected it to my new sink/vanity (from the L store), and at no charge added the element I needed to make it all work (because the guy at the L store barely knew what he was talking about; just a bit more than me!). Total time was about an hour, total cost was about HALF of what I was expecting, and the work was flawless. It's now 4 weeks later and I couldn't be happier and more relieved. I can only imagine what would have happened if I'd just been a dumb consumer and called Roto-Rooter. Here's the thing: Dan is the kind of local, friendly, knowledgeable professional that we used to be able to find two decades ago, but thought they were extinct now. 1st Choice proves that they are alive and well, and they ought to be your first and only choice too.

I was having some issues with my main sewer stack (100 yr old house, original clay and cast iron).

Took the time to explain to me what the issue likely was after trying to snake the drain, promptly scheduled and completed the work a few days later. The diagnosis was spot-on, they navigated my complicated sewer stack very well with the minimal intrusion and digging, and made a very-well executed repair.

It took the full day, but I'm incredibly pleased with the work and was happy to pay their reasonable rates.

I had an amazing experience with Mike. We actually didn't end up getting any work done but I told him if we ever do in the future, he'll be at the top of the list for people I call.

Mike was honest in saying he didn't think it would be best to work on our drainage situation at this moment since its a new house and the grading was not finished which may change where the drainage needs to be done. His knowledge, honesty, and sincere explanation on what he recommended was impressive. Its not often you meet someone who presents with such knowledge and honesty.
