I was positively impressed by the staff's openness regarding pricing and their thorough explanations. Their commitment to completing the job to my satisfaction was evident.

I used these guys several times, once to repair the main sewer line from our house and recently for updates needed to sell our house. Frank and Ben came out for our estimates and went above and beyond to make sure the info they had was accurate and exactly what they needed to get the job done. Work was done quickly and efficiently and could not have asked for more!

Bradley was very personable and nice. I would rate him highly but I believe there was a wild swing in the price after he spoke to his manager/supervisor. I received an estimate to replace a large visible above ground sewer pipe(20-25ft) with easy access that was more than 4 times the cost of my next closest estimate. Also by a reputable plumbing company, Several thousands of dollars. Pics were taken and sent work drawn up so no possible confusion. I don't know if they thought i was an idiot but i always do my research. I would say BEWARE AT ANY COST. Now I understand why they charge for estimates.

Only doing 3 since I was just looking for a plumber and looking for information.

Replaced drain in bathtub. Attempted to fix faucet by replacing valve cartridge but was unsuccessful due to faulty valve. He then proceeded to tell me he didn’t have time to replace the valve which was the original request that he discouraged having done. I cannot recommend them as a good choice.

Lucas called 30 minutes before he was due to arrive and told me he was on his way. When he got to the house, he had on booties and a mask & was dressed in uniform. He was very professional, and he worked on my drains for over an hour until they were completely clear and running freely. When he was finished, he went out to his van to get cleaning products and left my bathroom virtually spot free. As promised, it was $93.I have had 2 other companies clean the drain before and neither one of them worked as hard as Lucas did. Last year‘s guy did a “puff of air“ to clear the line. He charged me $126. He was going to charge me more if he had to snake it. Lucas went right to work snaking the drain‘s and didn’t leave until the job was completely done. I am very impressed. They are NOT 24/7. I had a major problem at 5:30 on a Sunday night and they said they couldn't help me until Tuesday or Wednesday.

Ryan & Carl were amazing! They were able to remove a broken water heater through a very, very small space & install a new one on a SUNDAY. They were polite, kind, & very professional Plus everything was completely cleaned up! I highly recommend them!

Contacted via Angi for repair/replace of water heater. Spoke with Eric Warner 3 times prior to him responding to my home for an estimate. At no point during those conversations did he mention a $129.00 Trip charge. No other contractor requested a charge for an estimate. If you contact or are contacted by American Rooter, be sure to enquire about a fee for an estimate. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB and Angi.
