customer service was terrible. when I called the person that answered the phone did not state the companies name I was a little thrown off so I ask is this Frank Niesen. This person replied he isnt in Im like is this the company he was like you didn't say the company Frank Niesen is a person and hung up on me. I will take my money to a company that's wants it.

Alec was great at explaining the problem as well as the possible solutions with my air conditioner. He made me feel informed and understanding the decisions that needed to be made. I did not feel pressured nor upsold. Alec was honest, personable and great to work with. I will for sure call for future needs.

Chris called on his way, came in with booties on, and went right to work. He identified the problem quickly, but unfortunately the water stem fell apart when he took it out! Since this ment the water would run wide open, he got permission to drive 25 minutes to get a repair kit, retuned and completed the repair. Chris is a knowledgeable, very nice young Plummer!

I called Roto router because I had a clogged main house drain. The customer service rep advised me that they would get someone out there as soon as possible, within the next two hours, and they would call 30 minutes ahead. 15 minutes later someone called and said the tech would be there in 30 minutes. Wow! I didn’t expect that. I thought I was going to lose most of my day. The tech that came out was named Branson. Branson was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and had a great personality. As someone who is very skeptical of contractors who come out to do service calls this was very reassuring and I felt totally comfortable within the first 15 minutes due to Branson‘s professional upfront attitude and great personality. While Branson was cleaning out the main drain the tech who was going to run the camera through it called. Wow again! This meant that both techs could possibly be there at the same time. To my surprise, Branson said I’m going to stay till he gets here. While Branson was taking his equipment back out to his truck the camera tech pulled up. We all went downstairs and he ran the camera through the main drain all three of us looking at the screen. Chad, the tech who ran the camera down the drain was just a professional courteous and personable as Branson. At this point I knew I was in good hands. Thanks Roto rooter for sending two of the best. And thank you Chad and Branson For making a very stressful time a very pleasant experience.

Very helpful.As a total aside, my dog got out and my technician chased her all over the neighborhood while I was cleaning and my phone was on silent, AND was totally nice about it. 100 A+ for customer service above and beyond. Contacted via Angi for repair/replace of water heater. Spoke with Eric Warner 3 times prior to him responding to my home for an estimate. At no point during those conversations did he mention a $129.00 Trip charge. No other contractor requested a charge for an estimate. If you contact or are contacted by American Rooter, be sure to enquire about a fee for an estimate. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB and Angi.
