When Jerry and Robert came out to do the repair they looked at the issue and they needed some parts, turns out what we thought the original issue was not correct so they replaced the line piece that had the hole with out needing to hammer jack like we thought they were done in 3 hours, cleaned up after them selves and saved us a ton of money off our original quote. Great team grate service!!!!

the 3 stars is not for the technician, who was professional and did the best he could to diagnose and systematically find the root cause of the hot water problem and couldn't solve it with his experience. The 3 stars is for the loss of time waiting for the service. First day was a no show, even after calling several times day and night and them letting me know the technicians were behind but they would still show . The next day was way after the 4 hour window we schedule. If you are low in manpower please don't let people book appointments if you can't deliver on time.

Phil did a good job fixing some pipes that another contractor had not done properly and he got my bathroom sink unclogged. Then I had him give me a bid on my third-floor bathroom replacing possibly the toilet and the sink. Next day a man called Mike left a message and asked me to call him back. He was going over the details of the bid for 3rd floor. It was going to be $3300! So naturally I had questions on exactly what they would do for that price. He cut me off and said “I listened to you, now you listen to me!” He was so rude and after he got done I still had the same questions. He continued to be curt and I told him I was going to get off the phone because he was upsetting me. I can’t believe after I spent over $800 that he could be so curt.

Contacted via Angi for repair/replace of water heater. Spoke with Eric Warner 3 times prior to him responding to my home for an estimate. At no point during those conversations did he mention a $129.00 Trip charge. No other contractor requested a charge for an estimate. If you contact or are contacted by American Rooter, be sure to enquire about a fee for an estimate. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB and Angi.
