Best Water Disposal in Chicago IL

I am so pleased with the service I received today from Pete and Omar. I scheduled a service visit last night and they arrived first thing in the morning to handle our obnoxious washing machine drain problem that’s been a thorn in our sides since we purchased our unit years ago. Not only were they kind and professional, but Pete walked me through all my possible options for repair. We live in a “quirky” old building that has a slew of plumbing issues, not including those within our unit. They gave me information about our drain configuration that other companies had not mentioned and knew exactly how to tackle the problem and give us an estimate. We had them rod our drain while we mull over the estimate and plan of action, and they went above and beyond. After discovering my supply hoses were on their last legs, they set us up with an extra durable set so they will ideally last for years. They bill by the job (which I appreciate given our building is old and repairs are sometimes more time-consuming) and took their time making sure their work was sturdy. Pete taught me about things as he went and alerted me to a valve issue (and other issues) that we’ll need to tackle down the road.

I was just remarking to my husband several days ago that there’s no integrity left in business, but Pete and Omar certainly reversed that opinion. This means a lot, especially being a female client who is used to being talked down to or brushed aside. Thanks, guys!

My condominium association has used Rocket Plumbing in the past with mediocre results. Not particularly responsive, but they got the job done in the end.
The last time out they told me I probably needed to replace a major pipe between two units in our building. They pulled the toilet out (so it couldn’t be used) then didn’t follow up as they promised to. After waiting for 2 weeks (it was a guest bathroom), I called another plumber who fixed the problem in less than an hour. It was a straight forward repair.
Beware, some folks at Rocket may be ok, but it seems like some of their workers are not above making up work to overcharge their customers. I contacted Rocket before leaving this review. After speaking with an employee and a dispatcher, the owner did not contact me before close of business that day (I was told he was on a job).

This was my first experience with First Chicago Plumbing. The whole process went great. They were responsive and pleasant to talk with from the start. BEWARE! Do not patronize this company. The address they post is fake. 1204 N. State Parkway is the address of PS Clark's, a bar on the Gold Coast that has been out of business and the premises vacant for several years now. When asked about their fake address, they said they were working from home. Unless they had been working out of the back of PS Clark's, they are being deceptive. They promised to send a licensed, bonded, and insured plumber, but sent a gig worker who is really a handyman that also does drywall, painting, etc., but still charged plumber rates. I knew more about rodding than the gig worker who admitted he had just purchased his equipment the day before! He showed up without the normal materials every plumber carries. No slam to the gig worker, but to Pioneer Plumbing that hires him (and likely, others like him), exploits him, and passes him off as a legitimate plumber. They are doing business under the name of J & J Services on 6723 N Sacremento Ave. in Chicago.

Edwin with Chicagoland Quality Plumbing did a great job for us. He was prompt, professional and very thorough. He replaced the toilet, kitchen sink, bathroom faucet and all the shower hardware. It was a pretty big job and he worked until the job was finished- until nearly 5PM despite it being the day before Christmas Eve. I highly recommend Edwin and Chicagoland Quality Plumbing

Eduardo was an incredible find and I’d recommend his services to anyone in need. We first contacted him to find out the issue with our downstairs plumbing drain. He was impressively responsive, available and on-time. He isolated the problem and provided the fix in an incredibly time efficient manner. On top of that, the price is fantastic considering the level of professionalism and quality provided. When we had another issue with our ceiling getting water damage, we dialed him right away. Eduardo came THAT afternoon to take a look and was able to squeeze us into his busy schedule 2 days later to perform the work. He once again isolated the issue within minutes and knew how to fix it. We validated it was the root of the problem and he was able to complete the work in just about an hour. The icing on the cake is that he takes pride in his work and cleans up afterwards, leaving your place just as it was. The cherry on top is he is a genuinely nice person. We need more small businesses and local handymen around. I hope you’ll support Eduardo if you are ever in need like I have, twice.

Someone came onsite to provide a quote. They never ended up sending me the quote. I called back twice and each time they said they'd get back to me, but never did so

Very professional and helpful. I live out of state and was kept informed during the entire process. This was a complicated job because the piping is all over the place. I had several frozen pipes and a broken pipe. I would definitely hire them again.

i had a blocked kitchen sink in my condo, and it was somewhat of a bureaucratic nightmare trying to get the coi that the property managers required. Edwin did a great job and put in a lot of effort dealing with the insurance company and the property managers to expedite this. Edwin kept me updated throughout the entire process. Jorge and his associate did a very professional and efficient job.
