Baethke always does a great job fixing whatever issue you have on the first visit. Dan L. was our tech. He was professional, suggested several alternatives, gave us the cost estimates upfront and cleaned up the worksite when the job was done.

When calling I had set an appointment for 10am-2pm. They called at 1:15 stating that t be there shortly. I had tenants waiting. Called @2:15 said they would be there shortly. Now it’s 4:45 they called My tenants and said they be there shortly again no show. Luckily I checked with a good friend who’s a retired plumber and told me to stay away from Roto Rooter. Maybe it was an omen.

During our estimate we were given no fewer than four different pieces of incorrect information. We were told that the type of drain catch we have, our best bet to unclogging our drain was power rodding it. Upon the arrival of the plumbers to do the work, we were told that this is not possible on the type of drain we have, in direct contradiction to the initial visit. They then proceeded to spend 15 minutes using a tool to blow air down our drain, which we were told costs just as much as power rodding. $600 bucks for some air. For what it's worth, these tools are available online for less than $100 bucks.We also needed to have a sewer cleanout sealed up. I told the guys doing the work specifically that this cleanout is in a bedroom closet, and to please make it as unnoticeable as possible. See the picture for what we got. Only after the work was done were we told that they bill by the job and not by the hour. It's too bad they didn't take the time to sink the ferule in properly and do the job right. Oh, and the plumbers broke one of my windows as well.

We had Edwin twice. He repaired a leak in our kitchen sink. Second visit he repaired and replaced needed parts in our 90+ year old bath/shower. I was worried about that, but no problem! Finally he cleared the bath drain. Excellent work! Very professional and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend Chicago Quality Plumbing!! We will use him again.

I hired Alex and his completely reliable and experienced Go-Rooter team months ago, to repair major spillovers from drain cycles of our basement clothes washer. Our DePaul area home was built around 1890, and Alex and his team needed to explore and excavate defects in its original underground works. Their underground rebuilding for my wife and me included damaged-pipes repairs, hydro jet use that disposed of large amounts of sand, bricks and other debris, rebuilding of the catch basin that extended from the laundry area to the home's outside and replacement of collapsed pipe lines, bricks and various surrounding support.
