I quoted with several well established, and well reviewed companies in Chicago and Chicago First Plumbing provided the best value. We have used them already to change two sections of the pipe and both times the work was professionally completed to our total satisfaction, not charging more than the original quote even though the work both times included valves and elbows not originally in the scope of the project. I reached out to Goode Plumbing based on a personal recommendation when there was a leak under my dishwasher. They came out on a Thursday and diagnosed the problem. They sent someone the following day to fix it, but later that evening it was leaking again. Goode sent someone out the next day (a Saturday) who told me that they had misdiagnosed the problem and that someone would contact me when the office opened on Monday about a refund.I got a call the following Monday afternoon trying to schedule another technician to come out with no mention of the mistake or a refund. It’s has now been almost 7 weeks of me reaching out to try to get a redund and resolution of this, but the lack of communication from Goode Plumbing has been staggering. I was told a few weeks ago I would be receiving a $500 refund (which I have not received to date) but the person I spoke with couldn’t tell me why they were keeping over $300 and said the manager (who had already reached out to several times with no response) would have to call me. It is no surprise, I didn’t hear from the manager and haven’t heard from anyone despite reaching out to follow-up.Honestly, if Goode Plumbing had followed-up (like their plumber said they would) I wouldn’t have anything negative to say. The plumbers that came out to my residence were wonderful, but I have never dealt with a company that demonstrates such disregard for communicating with customers following a mistake that they made.

Everything went really smoothly and promptly with this plumber. I did not have to wonder why they were not getting back to me to discuss my project, as I have has to do so many other times with so many other plumbers. The representative was very organized, prompt, and courteous and even covered his shoes inside my house which was a really positive compromise between the fact that it's my living space and his working space.
