This was my first time using the service. Although I did not have an emergency, my kitchen sink was not draining well due to a problem with the garbage disposal. They were able to send someone within a couple days.
And, they probably would have been quicker if I had labeled it as urgent.
Pete and Noah showed up on time. They were friendly, polite, and informative. They installed a new garbage disposal which has been working perfectly. I'm very satisfied with the quality of work. They completely cleaned up after themselves as well
I will use this plumbing service in the future.

Every aspect of the service at John Baethke and Son Plumbing is extremely professional, from the booking and confirmation of the appointment through the completion of the work. The customer is given a time when they can expect the service person to arrive and then given a call when they are on their way. We have been lucky enough to have Yuriy doing the plumbing work for us on several occasions. He is not only a skilled craftsman but also a very hard worker. He makes an extra effort to complete the job as smoothly as possible. We have already used this company three times and their service has remained exemplary! Not many companies can claim that.

I contacted Roto Rooter on a Saturday evening when my sink became backed up and wouldn't drain at all. They were at my house by 9am Sunday morning and within a half hour (maybe even less) I had a clear drain and was able to use my sink again. Very pleased with the speed and quality of service, and the price was competitive with other services I researched.

Jan's team showed up exactly on time. They were efficient and knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations. Their communication was clear throughout the process - making sure we understood ahead of time what would would be required and how much it would cost. We will be returning to them in the future.

Updated review: I wish I could give Rescue Plumbing 7 stars. I thought my new plumbing had a leak and it turned out that I installed the shower head wrong (massive facepalm). The same team visited my home and they were gracious, understanding, and fixed the issue quickly. Love this company.
Logan and Jenkis were awesome. They were timely, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend Rescue Plumbing!

I am including the prices so readers can make their own conclusions: The customer service (phone service and communication) was excellent. The ladies handling the appointments and scheduling were extremely friendly and professional. I will say that J. Blanton was the only company that had someone from their own office answer the phone after hours. The plumbing service was to replace (2) screws holding the toilet tank as they were corroded and causing leak. The service took about 20 min. The cost was $159 for the estimate because location was in the city and $450 for the service. Total was $600. However the plumber noted my concern about the price and waived some of the cost. The option to replace the toilet would be over $1000 because it was a back flush toilet. I am not familiar with market pricing so I cant comment if pricing is fair. Hope this helps

We contacted rescue plumbing to replace our aging water heater. They were very prompt and did an excellent job! We had Vance come out and they even cleaned up the utility closet after it was all complete. I will definitely use them again.

I needed an emergency repair on my sewer. I called a company that I used last year for the same repair(Tippit sewer). I was told this year that I needed new pipes in the ground at the price of $4500. I was willing to do that repair, but I never got a call back to set up the appointment. I looked in the phonebook and found Roto rooters. I gave them a call, I was told ,they needed $525 just to come out and look at the problem. I started checking the phonebook for black owned plumbing businesses. Burris &Son, heating, cooling and plumbing was the first company I called. I called at 10 AM and got a call back at 10:15 letting me know that he would be here, Mr. Burris, by 3 PM, and he was. He told me what the problem was right away, let me know what it would cost. Not only was he professional, Fixed the problem in less than one hour but he beat their prices by 100%. This was the Best decision I made. Mr.Burris has gained a new customer. I will highly recommend him to my family and friends (and anyone who needs their services . Thanks

I called Sinks and sumps looking for someone to come out and service our sump pump. Dominick asked questions regarding the type of pump I had and while looking for the answers I realized he was actually the person who installed them prior to us purchasing the home. Instead of trying to sell me on some service I didn’t need, he walked me through things to look for (leaves in our sump pump hole), how to make sure the backup battery had the proper amount of water, etc. I’m very grateful that I just so happened to call him and appreciate him taking time on a Sunday to provide advice on our situation. I’d call him for any of my upcoming plumbing needs.

Relatively new home owner here (we moved in August last year). Hadn't had any real plumbing issues yet in the house until about a week or 2 ago. Suddenly when we washed laundry the basement slop sink would back up a little and super slowly go down. Tried to plunge and rod it but didn't work permanently. Later, the dishwasher started causing the backup as well. Then, the shower, then, even flushing the toilet backed it up. Now the water was actually s*!t water brown at this point even saw toilet paper floating in it. Figured it it must for sure be the main line needed rodding after chatting with some folks and googling. So earlier today we call Roto-Rooter, about 4 hours later guy comes out, takes a look at the access we have outside to the main, then says he can't rod it, gotta wait until tomorrow. Now it's way later and we can't use any more water (brown water backup in basement sink if we do) can't shower etc... aaaaand back at square one. We called 3 more places to try and ask, get quotes, etc. One place guy wanted to charge $800. Another can't come out until tomorrow. Finally after almost giving up for the night we call Mike's. Super high reviews on Google! (4.8) BUUUUUUUT only 4 reviews we say.... Well we decided to give him a call, worth a shot we figured. Call after 10 PM on Sunday night. (Today as of this writing, 4/23/2017). He was out here by 1105PM. Opened up the access quick, ran in and ran all the water with me, noticed now the upstairs bathroom toilet and shower we're backing up instead of basement slop sink. (Reason was now slop sink was clogged secondarily cause of the backup of the s*!t water) he helped unclog that secondary one (AND a bit of the upstairs shower too) at no extra charge. About 20 minutes later if even, heard the huge slurp and saw the toilet backup shoot down the drain. Everything fixed like 20-30 minutes after arrival. Big ol rodder machine did the trick. Also explained a lot of the plumbing around the house. Went both ways with the rodder too from the access just in case. Ended up pulling out a lot of roots and stuff (I guess usually it's roots, supposed to get the main line rodded as a preventative maintenance item every 6mo to 2 years it sounds like) Total price was better than roto rooter as well. Friendly, professional. Plus, mentioned during the daytime and when not in a hurry like today as a preventative maintenance item it'd be even cheaper too. Will definitely be calling again if/when another bigger problem calls for a pro. Very happy we went with a good local place even tho he only had the 4 reviews, and I'm happy to be writing the 5th. If you need a pro, call Mike. And then leave some more good reviews!

2 residential toilets were clogged. Captain Rooter’s Plumbers came out, fixed 1 toilet using a snake, attempted to fix the 2nd toilet with the same snake, all which took 20 minutes BUT charged $500. WE STILL NEED ANOTHER PLUMBER TO FIX THE 2nd TOILET. Use another company who values customers. And their business during this Covid-19.
