Best Clean Out Sewer Pipe in Chicago IL

Danny at John Baethke & Son Plumbing was great! He came to do a sewer scope for a home I’m hoping to buy. He was 5 min early and provided a lot of helpful background on the scope and answered some other plumbing questions I had about the property. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and tidy. Will definitely use John Baethke & Son Plumbing for my next project!

I have used Roto-Rooter in the past and never had any issues. I typically call every 2-3 years for the same floor drain to be cleaned out.So once again Roto-rooter rep came in did the work and was great. Have no issues with worker and would appreciate working with him again. Very knowledgeable and helpful.However, all this is not worth the cost today. The guy was here about 30 minutes and cleaned one floor drain for 400, and he only went 45 feet into the drain. I needed it to be done so I paidAll works great, but will never again pay 400 to clean one drain for 45 minutes. If not for the driver and his work, I would give one star. Should have read more reviews and considered other options.

Jan and his team really did everything right. We were still recovering from a previous run-in with a truly awful one man plumbing crew, and Vanguard was the perfect antidote. Very communicative and clearly has a bidding process that works for him. All of the good reviews you see here are accurate. I called Rocket Plumbing today because my shower was leaking into my downstairs neighbor's apartment. They were able to come out within a couple of hours, assess, and fix the problem quickly. They didn't even need to go into my neighbor's apartment. It was simply a rubber seal that had rotted. I had previously called a different plumber who came out didn't even look at my shower, and just said let us know when your neighbor is home we will need to cut into their dry wall. So glad I followed my gut and called Rocket Plumbing, and didn't go through all of that! Nick who was our technician did a fabulous job!

This was the third time we have used J Sewer. We have a lot of trees and have regular problems with tree roots in our sewer line. This time we had hydrojetting done with a camera. Jesus spent a lot of time cleaning out all the roots and checking the condition of our pipes. Highly recommended.

Overall our experience was ok. They were very responsive to help with scheduling. The biggest reason for only 3 stars was the price paid for the work done. We were quoted a price that included having to cut through our ceiling to access a pipe. The ceiling was not cut and the access to the pipe was not needed, but we had to pay for that service anyway.

We had an amazing experience with Brandon and Aidoun (sp).Brandon diagnosed our problem within minutes of arriving.
Our ejector pump went bad so nothing on our basement level (bathroom, shower, utility sinks, washer/dryer outlet) was going out to the sewer. You can only image the smell and look on my face when I tried to use a plunger thinking I had a clogged toilet.

These guys calmed my anxiety and replaced the old pump probably within an hour. It was quick and they walked me through the entire process.

The emergency repair was expensive but well worth the cost. Today we woke up to a fresh smelling “Mancave” as if nothing had ever happened. I highly recommend this place for any of your plumbing needs.

J. Blanton Plumbing repaired pipes throughout my basement to fix a gas leak. They claim they tested the pipe for pressure to ensure the work was sound. However, when the gas company turned the gas back on, gas was spewing directly into the home. I contacted the company three times before they would agree to discuss the concern with me. This is clearly a significant safety issue because either they had a defective pressure gauge, or the plumber did not test it properly. An owner finally came out to the house with the plumber that did the work. They decided that since the gas company was able to fix the leak that their work caused, there was nothing wrong and all they needed to do was have the plumber buy a new pressure gauge. For 4 hours of defective work that led to a dangerous situation in my home, they charged me $1875.

I called Kavana Plumbing because I needed 2 gas lines moved. The owner was very responsive. He called me back in minutes, asked for photos of my gas line needs and helped me communicate with the gas company, which was far beyond what was needed. He installed the lines in no time and double checked everything. I have used him twice since then. He’s reliable, knowledgeable, quick and efficient. Great service!

I really appreciate the honesty and expertise of Pierce Plumbing Service! They spent several hours at my house to locate a leak and were able to save us a lot of money by replacing an old pipe underground. They were friendly and knowledgeable and followed up with a call to make sure we were pleased with their service.

They were prompt and able to get out there today (a Friday). excellent communication. I felt the price was a bit high compared to previous plumber doing the same work ($650 vs $500), but other than that I was happy with the service.

I texted Derek on a Monday, he showed up on Tuesday and provided a free estimate to install a kitchen faucet, swap out a garbage disposal, and fix a leaking toilet. His price was very fair, and he was very professional. He came back the following Sunday, working around my toddler's nap schedule, and was done within an hour.
