I have used Comfort Solutions a number of times since 2013. They installed a mini-split heating and cooling system at my business. They have been back to perform regular maintenance and repair of regular wear items on the system. Most recently I had them out to fix problems, on both the mini-split system as well as (2) traditional HVAC systems, caused by another mechanical contractor who was brought out by a roofing contractor. The tech who has come out most frequently, Eugene, is professional, knowledgeable, and honest. My experiences with the company and owner have left me with the same impression. This company is trustworthy and they will get the job done right. I hold their work in the highest regard and would not hesitate to recommend Comfort Solutions of New Mexico to any of my family, friends, and colleagues.

While I did not end up using Motherroad's services to complete my water filtration project, I feel compelled to leave a review after my experience. This was far and away the BEST interaction I have ever had with a contractor. Alex was prompt, explained my options in great detail, and did not try to upsell or push anything extra or unnecessary to my project. He told me exactly what he wanted to use, why he wanted to use it, and included a breakdown of every single item and its purpose in his quote. He also broke down his pricing for me, which provided that extra layer of comfort with the process.
It is clear that Alex really knows his stuff and takes great pride in his work. If you haven't yet, take a look at the pictures on his website; he is definitely an artist of his craft. Unfortunately, we did not have the room in our budget to go with him on this occasion, but I wholeheartedly believe he is worth his price and would be ecstatic to go with Motherroad on a future project down the road. Thank you so much!

Our Central air was throwing out air that smelled of sewer. We tried other companies who were unable to figure out the problem. While researching the issue, I came across Central plumbing heating and cooling. They found the problem in less than 15 minutes and fixed the issue at an affordable price.
Thank you so much for your knowledge and expertise.

Had two encounters with Affordable. First was last year (2016), leaky water heater that I knew needed replacing. Their technicians came out end of the day. The pilot light had gone out to the leak. He dried the area, relit the pilot and said what I already know, you need a new water heater. He did not charge for the visit, I appreciated it and kept them in mind if for when I could afford a new water heater. So I called them yesterday (they’re local to Rio Rancho and I try to keep my money in the area if possible) when I was experiencing a furnace problem. The furnace was running but putting out room temperature air. Contacted them via website early to get the ball rolling before they were open. Finally got a call about 3 hours later to talk about my problem. Met their tech at the house at 12:15, his name was Adam I believe. I know everyone should be allowed to have a bad day at work. This guy really did not seem like he wanted to be there or I reminded him of someone he didn't like. His first question was “have you thought of replacing it. Note this while he was doing diagnostics.I thought long and hard about whether I should do this review. After reading the others from the past few weeks I think it’s worthwhile that I do it. By the time he was done he pulled the motor and housing which needed cleaning. Replaced the Flame Sensor and Furnace Draft Inducer Blower (which I had bought previously and had sitting on the shelf). He reminded me since he was installing it there would be no warranty. Maybe an hour and a half work at most the flame sensor is anywhere from $ 10-25 on the internet. My total with tax? $ 545 and change. Excessive, I was in a bind and needed it done. Never again. You’ve lost a customer but I’m sure there are more out there. There are two other local HVAC companies here in Rio Rancho, they’re get the next call.Update : 2/27/2017, received a call from Kevin at Affordable over my review. He wanted to see how he could respond to what occurred. He also said I should have called them if I was unhappy.. Why would I call, I contract you to perform a job and then I post the circumstances and what occurred. I was issued a partial refund of $ 100 for installation of my own part. Its appreciated but its doubtful I will be using Affordable again, better to just move on.

One of the best experiences I've had. Rick was prompt, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and just an all- around great guy! He knew exactly what the problem was, fixed it right away, and charged me a very fair price. Wish I could give more stars!

Pete and Chino arrived within a half hour of me calling ABQ Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling to remove and replace a broken shower cartridge that was stuck. Within an hour of arrival, the job was completed and the shower was functioning again! So pleased I called and grateful for the prompt service when I realized I couldn’t do it myself (and had to keep the water off to the house until the repair was complete due to my failed attempt).
