A timely response, during the weekdays only, to our indoor emergency plumbing leak. The water leak was channeling into an adjacent room and detected because of the carpet there getting waterlogged on Saturday. We called right away on Saturday, and placed a bucket under the leak until they arrived just before 8AM Monday morning. The water heater, which was next to where that leak was, was also flushed because we took out, years ago now their extra service plan. The expansion tank on the 6 year old water heater was noticed to need replacing, so this, along with other minor but often important things nonetheless —-some covered by our extra coverage program—-were done after the plumbing was fixed. It was done in a professional manner and the service man made sure to remind me to call asap if anything was askew again. All in all, it only took them about 2 hours. But given how much time they spent explaining things to a non professional such as myself, the actual repairs probably took less than two hours.I love learning, and to have a good service like they provided, where they explained things clearly to me, was an added bonus; not that I plan on doing any plumbing own my own, but one never knows.Besides that, in the future should something happen I’ll be better off explaining the problem on the phone or online as I see it from the standpoint of a novice. It never hurts the pros to have initial input, but once they arrive it’s time to let them do their job as well as to point out other things which they feel or know, such as it was with the expansion tank on the water heater, might be needed, or which are covered under our Wagner service plan.

WMF crew slipped their schedule for the followup visit, but that's not really unusual for contractors who are reacting to unpredictable crises around town, and anyway they personally covered for them the same day.

We have used Custom-Air, Inc. for all of our heating, cooling and plumbing needs since 2002. From a complete ductwork overhaul with heating/cooling combo unit install in our first home to a new furnace, new evaporative unit and gas line work in our current home - Rick and Dave have been our go-to team! Their service and attention to detail is second-to-none, and we highly recommend them!

Mike and his team were excellent! Very professional, thorough and went out of their way to explain everything, and they checked and measured twice before the work began: they moved my 2 new heating/refrigerator cooling systems that were installed a few years back by Thompson Heating and A/C. I specified clearly to have the new units moved in next to the house - which was never done, they were left sticking way out from the house as the original units were huge and more than 2x bigger than the new ones. Mike and his team moved the units close to the house and in the process redid the connecting duct work. Mike thoroughly tested both systems: heat and A/C when the work finished. We had a cold night last night and I had to use the heat on both systems. I immediately noticed that both units did not run as long and more airflow was coming out of the vents. Mike corrected a very sloppy install that was leaking air from the unit bottom frame - which was taped up to prevent air leakage. When Mike finished he found that the unit was not squarely on its base and therefore pushing air into the base frame - which was taped to prevent air leakage. Mike and his team did a fabulous job correcting a very sloppy install by Thompson Heating and A/C. I highly recommend Marathon Mechanical Service! I will always use Mike and his team for all future HVAC work. Thank you Mike and your entire team!

Daniel’s is outrageously over charging. I heard their ad on the radio and I needed a new furnace in a pinch. I should have shopped around but didn’t have the time. They charged me over $5,000 for a small upstairs furnace. A few months later, the thermostat was not working properly and the sent out a tech, he was nice guy, but Daniel’s had the audacity to charge a $70 fee for sending the tech. It’s sad that they pretend to be a trustworthy business when they are not. The upstairs furnace is half the size as my downstairs furnace and cost me twice as much because Daniel’s saw me coming…

David Long and his team did a fantastic job with a new central heat, air, and a humidifier for us and removing old malfunctioning equipment. Team was very professional and willing to answer all of our questions. It was a challenging job but they still were able to finish the whole thing in a very brief time. It was impressive! Our sales contact Mario Martinez was also very helpful in helping us understand what we needed and getting all the paperwork in order to make it happen!
