I just had broiler problems. Looked up plumbers on Google and found Daniels plumbing. They were here first thing the next morning. The technician was Darren. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Diagnosed the problem in 30 minutes and had the problem fixed. I highly recommend Daniels plumbing.

Daniels did an excellent job installing a new heater in the house I just purchased. My home inspector said the return air duct, which ran underground for a short distance, would draw radon into the home. The Daniels crew sealed the underground passage and ran a new return air duct without cutting any new holes in my living room. They also replaced the water heater chimney to bring it up to code. In addition to being very competent, they are very friendly and seem to enjoy their work. I've worked with many contractors and Daniels is among the rare few that do an excellent job.

Estevan came and did some work on my mini-split units. He was great and explained several issues and worked diligently to get them resolved. While we still have some issues (no fault of Daniels-these mini splits were installed by another company), I am confident Estevan will continue to troubleshoot until all issues are resolved. Daniels was recommended to me and I’m very happy I called. They got me in right away and worked with my schedule.

Our tankless hot water heater went out on a Friday night. :( Saturday I got on the phone trying to find some one to come out. Daniels Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC, while expensive, had the most reasonable emergency rate. Unfortunately we needed a part that had to be ordered, but by Wednesday mid morning we had hot water again. Barney took care of us! We will use this company again.

I called to try and schedule an appointment to figure out what was wrong with my HVAC. The woman I talked to on the phone is incompetent. I asked how much the diagnostic fee would be, the woman told me she doesn't know. When I pressed her on the diagnostic fee she said it could be $180, then she said it might be less or more. I asked her for a ballpark figure on the diagnostic fee and she said she couldn't give it to me. She said it's whatever price the technician charges you. There was a bunch of commotion going on in the background and she kept misquoting what I was saying. How do they stay in business?

Barney came to give us an estimate on getting gas from our existing line to the kitchen. He was punctual, friendly and honest. The quote is fair and he represents Daniel's Plumbing well.

Barney Gallegos was the tech sent out to the concrete batch plant I maintain and from the very beginning I knew Daniels plumbing was going to do the job. I needed 20’ of 3” steel pipe cut and threaded perfectly. Steel is not easy to work and costs can skyrocket once started. Barney quoted the job perfectly and got it done in a timely matter. Daniels plumbing also worked with me with the scheduling because I wouldn’t be able to stop concrete in the middle of the day to fix the leaking water pipe until all concrete had been delivered. Very professional service would recommend any day.

We recently had a new swamp cooler installed. Jacob and his partner (sorry I did not get his name) arrived at the time they said, were courteous and professional. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend.

Jason (!) was terrific. He's in his prime. He's a veteran of HVAC, with loads of experience, but is young enough to work hard and quickly. Given the month, a shoulder season, he checked out both the heating as well as the AC. I don't believe anyone has ever been so diligent before! We look forward to having Jason return in the fall.

Jacob and his team installed a replacement cooler at our home last week and did an excellent job. Not only is Jacob extremely knowledgeable, but he was willing to patiently explain the mechanics of the product, how to operate it, and how to maintain it over time. I feel so much better knowing that we will not have to worry about getting stuck with the heat this summer! I highly recommend Jacob for his professionalism and expertise.

After I posted my factual and negative review, the owner, Daniel called my cell phone and yelled at me stating I didn't even know his tech that I only met him once, and he's a nice guy. !!!!! What does that have to do with them over charging for service????

We have used them several time for Instalation of new system and repairs. Just recently they installed new AC and heating furnace and are very happy with their Instalation and fair price. I know Daniel and his wife Michelle for long time he helped putting complete system in our Rio Rancho house almost 17 years ago he just started his business and now he is large mand successful company. The sales person Robbie and installer technicians Jacob and Patric did a great job and Robert did a great job of cleaning ducts and dryer vent. Thank you Daniel and company

Called Daniels Plumbing to repair a water heater. Their employee, Isaac, was prompt, polite, and professional/knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the heater. Will definitely use Daniels again.

Terrible experience with Daniel's Heating and Plumbing. They are great at installing systems but don't know how to repair them very well. Had them come out to do a repair and they started to replace parts that didn't need to be replaced. After 2 attempts at the repair they send out 3 techs to try and repair the AC And still unable to fix it properly. Beware of Fabian the HVAC tech as he will talk down to you and disrespect you in your own house. Finally told them to leave as I wasn't willing to have them keep replacing parts that did not need to be replaced at my expense because to this day my HVAC system still is not working properly. Called to talk to someone that could make things happen and was told I would get a call back the following week and 2 months later still no call. Gave them plenty of time to make it right but they don't value there customers.

This company was very patient explaining the service required for my house. Mr. Jaramillo reached out himself and made sure everything I wanted was in place. Thank you again. Will definetly use this company for future work. 5 stars to the company.

Charles was very professional in his explanation of the repair process. Charles explained everything he did and what we should expect in the future.

I've been using Daniels for a few seasons now. They have found loose gas lines, dirty evap coils, questionable parts and have always explained the issues and fixes. I've even had them work on a emergency basis when our fan went out during the winter. They came out right away, got the part ordered and had us going the next day. We did not have to deal with the cold for long. This last call all our issues were addressed and the technician was knowledgeable, polite and on-time. I would recommend Daniels to anyone in the ABQ area.

When the boiler in our new home went out we searched for a reputable business to trouble shoot the problem, estimate the work and cost to fix it and do the repair.
Daniels sent Max out to do all three. I was very impressed with the professionalism Max has toward his job, his company and my home.
Max worked with his boss to get the best price, accurately diagnose the problem and then work with me scheduling his repair. The job that was done is very good. The old boiler came out, the area was cleaned and prepared for the new boiler and the mess and old boiler was hauled off. This was an expensive repair and I shopped around for the contractor to do the job. I feel that I got the best repair and a very competitive price for the installation of a top of the line boiler. They did not skimp on the boiler, the work or the parts.
Highly recommend Daniels and will continue to use them for work at my house.

I've been using Daniel's for several years to service my heating/ac unit. Unfortunately, it stopped working this spring. They came out and assessed it couldn't be repaired, and showed me what had gone wrong. They scheduled for it to be replaced, which involved hiring a crane to lift it into my yard. In the end, they were able to schedule it sooner than originally promised and their team got it in and working very quickly! They even took care of registering the new unit with the manufacturer, so I didn't need to do anything! I love these guys!

We called the company that sold us our gas fireplace and they said they no longer service the one they sold us. They did recommend we call Daniels I did and they said of course we can help. They sent Josh to solve our problem. He was courteous and professional. Even cleaned the glass, and he covered our hearth do as not to scratch or soil. We will definitely keep Daniel's in mind for any other service we need and will ask for JOSH

Barney Gallegos was more than outstanding. He represented Daniels very well. He explained everything thoroughly and provided excellent maintenance on our tankless water heater. We had to replace our 19 year old refrigerated air unit and furnace. We did not have time to obtain several bids as we were without heat, we got two estimates. We chose Daniels due to a few recommendations from friends and the services/products Daniels included in their bid. They were not the lowest bid but I was impressed by the time Robbie spent at our house assessing our needs and going over the bid via a conference call in the evening (after working hours so my husband could be present). The financing options were good and allowed for affordable monthly payments. This was a tough job both outside (2 story house) and inside (furnace was in attic with very little work space). The technicians encountered an issue out of their control with a faulty part in the furnace (manufacturer defect), they ensured that the schedule was completely revamped the following day to accommodate and rectify this unforeseen issue which in my books, it very reputable! The heating system is awesome and I cannot believe the difference that all new equipment makes. Thank you Daniels for making this happen and giving me peace of mind for the next 20 years!

They were not available to service my gas fireplace and replace the glass for 8 weeks, so I'm trying to find another company that can help me sooner.

I can’t say enough good things about this company! Until this last week I had called them for a few repairs on my HVAC system and they had always been great. I recently hired them to complete a BEAST of a job that other companies I had requested estimates from seemed overwhelmed by and one even said they didn’t think it could be done. Daniels got it done at a fair price and did a fantastic job. I couldn’t be happier and I can’t recommend Daniels enough. For your big or small jobs, give them a call - you won’t be disappointed!!

I met with Robbie from Daniels Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning to discuss installing a ductless heating and cooling system in a rental property. Robbie spent a lot of time explaining all the options, measuring rooms, offering ideas, etc. He was very responsive when I followed up with questions and went the extra mile to meet my budget. Tim and Austin installed the system and were very professional and courteous. They did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Daniels.

Professional from start to finish they replaced my hwh, furnace & ac system, cleaned my air ducts and installed an air filtration system. All of their employees (both in the office and in the field) took pride in their work, responded quickly and were always patient and courteous. I'd give them more stars if possible!

Five Star Rating! We had a weekend emergency, toilet waste line clogged with tree roots and broken valve at toilet tank, with out-of-town company coming for the Thanksgiving holiday. HELP! We tried four local Plumbing companies all stating in their ads 24 hour emergency service 7 days a week, don't believe it. Half did not bother to call back, one referred us to another company that told us they don't do residential on Sunday and the other scheduled appointments, missed appointments for almost two days, we canceled that one. We knew nothing about Daniel's plumbing, but called, they answered, they scheduled, they arrived on time! Our technician, Israel was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and had everything fixed within an hour. He pulled out the mother-of-all tree roots from the sewer line, sealed the gap when it entered and treated with salt to stop reoccurrence. I highly recommend Daniel's Plumbing and Heating as well as Israel. We will definitely call them first next time. Kathleen

Had the pleasure of working with Ramon he was very thorough with his inspection. I highly recommend Daniel’s heating and plumbing for all services they were wonderful for once I feel like I’ve spent money will spent.

I called this morning with a non-emergency issue and they set a time, and even were able to come earlier so that was good. Bryton and his coworker showed up and almost immediately diagnosed the issue. After resolving that issue there seemed to be another issue which turned out to be a bit more major. After discussing with me the issue and the cost I decided to move forward. After they did some additional analysis work they realized the diagnosis was incorrect and the fix was unnecessary. I don't think all companies would be quite so honest, (or I am just jaded) but I greatly appreciated the final result and their honesty. Overall this was a great experience from the first phone call through them leaving a job well done. I will feel very comfortable calling them for any future issues.

Followup 10/12/20 - I called them today to see about replacing my hot water heater. Being and existing customer who was happy with their work so far I planned to use them. But, they wanted to charge me $70 just to get an estimate even though I am a customer. Other companies do the estimate for free, so those guys just lost me as an ongoing customer.

My old furnace has been struggling for years. It was original to the house and I knew at some point I would need to replace it, but kept putting it off...never enough time or money. You know the common reasons. I heard on the radio about a sale at Daniels Plumbing. I had seen the trucks around town for the last 15 or 20 yrs so knew there is business history.
I called to make an appointment, was called back vey quickly, appointment made to fit my schedule. Robbie was on time, followed protocol, and told me about the different options that would work best for my home. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The installation day was set. The team, Jacob & Pat arrived on time, in protocol, and made very little noise (important as I work from home) and a couple short hours later the new furnace was installed, the area spotlessly clean, my new thermostat set & the house warming up.
I cannot thank the team from Daniels enough. Everything from the initial contact to the completed work and the follow up to insure my happiness was completed timely and professionally. I recommend Daniels Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning very much

I picked Daniels at random to fix my gas fireplace and I'm so glad I did. Very thorough, honest and friendly.

We had our AC unit go out in our office this week. We had one company stop out that same day, and told us that our unit was unequivocally 'burned out' and would have to be replaced. We were quoted $10,400 for a complete repair of the unit. Since it was such a large job, I wanted to get another opinion. One of the paralegals in the office used Daniels for her house, and called him for a repair quote. Daniel himself stopped out, and to our surprise, told us that the unit was able to be repaired. Within a couple of hours, the unit was working. Instead of spending $10k, we paid an extremely reasonable amount for the service call, and his hourly rate. This is a business I trust, and fully endorse. I've requested a quote for seasonal servicing, and will be using this business from here on. I can't thank Daniel enough.

We have used Daniels in the past (hot water heater, etc.) and have always been VERY pleased!! We recently had them install ductless air/heat (aka mini splits)...wow...what an awesome concept that Daniels brought to our home!! This new installation is so much more efficient for our heating needs, can't wait to try it in the heat of summer.

The folks at Daniels are professional, and you can tell that they like what they do...all of them, Ted (sales), Jason & Tony (installation), Anaeli (scheduling), Fabian, Michelle, and Daniel...plus others whose names are escaping me. We had a leaky shower, I called first thing this morning and Barney was over in about 2 hours. The job ended up being more than I think he expected. We also had him look at the other bathroom's leaky shower to see if we could get it fixed. Without hesitation he cheched it out. He is very knowledgable in what he was doing. We will be a repeat customer.

I have rental property that the a/c went down. Another company checked it said it needed a new thermostat. They installed the new thermostat and the system still wouldnt come on. They then said it needed a new compressor at a cost of $1500.00. I called Daniel's and I cannot say enough positive things about them. Charles Baca, their service guy called and said he finished another job early and wanted to know if he could come over early which was great. He arrived i explained to him what the other company said. He walked over to the thermostat and showed me where the other company did not connect the wires. He connected them and the system started right up. He showed me a new filter for the system and how to clean it. Within minutes the house went from hot to cool. They d id not try to gouge me and tell me I needed repairs that were not necessary. From my experience with them the only question I had for Charles Baca was can i have your card as the only company i will call in the future is Daniel's. Thank you for your good work and most of all not trying to rip people off.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Please AVOID getting ripped off and frustrated. They installed a faulty gas valve in my furnace last year. The gas valve was under warranty if THEY replaced the faulty gas valve. The service technician tried to charge me $450 for labor. They told me over the phone $95 per hour and should take less than 2 hours. They tried to charge me an hour of labor to go pick up the replacement gas valve at Honeywell warehouse. They also told me that they would provide a reduced trip charge of $49 and a $25 off coupon. They should have covered the labor since they installed the faulty gas valve. I insisted I would not pay for more than 1 hour of labor because that is how long it took them to install the faulty gas valve and another part last year. After several frustrating conversations, they finally agreed to charge the $95 for one hour and the $49 trip charge. They did not honor the $25 off coupon. PLEASE AVOID THEM FOR YOUR POCKETBOOK AND YOUR EMOTIONAL WELL BEING.

We made an appointments months prior to have our units serviced and the window given was 1p-5p. We waited around the house for 4 hours and they never came. They finally called at the end of the appointment window and said they would not be coming. My time is just a valuable as theirs. Unprofessional and unreliable.

Check their work immediately! You only have one year on their labor and do not presume professional work. Check it! They installed a furnace in my crawl space two years ago. The way they installed it doesn’t take advantage of the efficiency of the unit and they also jerry rigged the wiring. So for two years my unit has not been at maximum efficiency and now that I want to fix that I can’t easily because they didn’t wire it correctly. I called to ask and they are charging me because I didn’t get in my crawl space and double check their work two years ago when they took my check and drove away. Sorry, but I’ll go somewhere else moving forward. Find someone who does a professional install the first time around. At the very least find someone who stands by their work and fixes their mistake because people make mistakes. It’s all about how they own up to it. UPDATE: They told me I have a 1 year warranty, the paperwork I signed says 2 years! I don’t understand this customer service experience.

UPDATE 2: Not sure what the reply below means but your team did reach out to schedule a call so that I can explain the issue to someone else but the underlying installation wiring problem is not resolved. Even if the heat works it doesn’t mean it was installed to use the efficiency of the unit you sold me. I’m not sure why I’m having to explain that point.

UPDATE 3: Had a call with them and they were willing to come view the issue, honor the contract coverage based on the fact I raised the issue before the two year expiration. They mentioned they would work to update the confusion at the office staff who initially pushed back on my warranty without looking at my contract. I’ll give credit for improving a process for sure.

I have now used Daniels at my business and home, both were extremely positive experiences. Most recently, my toilets and drains were backing up in my house. They had to snake them, use a camera, and then dig up the front yard to clear and add clean outs. This was not a small project but they accomplished it in one day and got everything working again. Barney was great! Super attentive and knowledgable. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family.

My mom needed an entirely new heating system installed in her old adobe home (we had to abandon the old radiant heating under the brick floor and install a new air-duct-supplied system). Ted was great about offering options and coming up with a solid, complete bid. He was very gracious about working with me on the bid (I live in Seattle) even though the work was to be done on my mom's house in Albuquerque. Once the five-day installation began, my mom reports that the workers arrived on time, didn't spend any time chatting on their cells phones, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Daniel, the owner, came more than once to check on progress and to turn on and test the system. The company is beautifully run, and every single person we interacted with was motivated, efficient, polite, and pleasant. We wholeheartedly recommend Daniels Heating!

I do not recommend using them at all! We had noticed in may 2021 that our ac was not getting cold so we had called them on may 20 2021 they couldn't come put until June 10th. When they came out I was ready to leave work whenever I received the phone call but it never happend. They had shown up and called my husband and he didn't receive it until after they left. We have an 8 month old baby and the next soonest they could come out was July 7th 2021. Our house has been getting up to 90 degrees everyday! So we called someone else out to fix it because we couldn't wait another month. They looked at it and all the wiring was wired wrong. The wiring to the ac burned and almost burned down our house. Even the heater was wired wrong. When we had called they said it was our fault and they weren't going to do anything for us. If they came out to fix it we'd have to pay. With the warranty we were supposed to get 2 free visit checks for the summer change and winter change to make sure it was running properly. They never came out for the winter change or the summer change until we called them when we noticed there was something wrong with the AC. We now have to pay someone else to come out and fix it because I don't trust them to do it right because they risked the lives of my family because they couldn't do their job right and wouldn't even help us after. The manager we talked to was very rude and just kept saying it was our fault when they are the ones who did it. We had 2 electricians come out and look at it and both had a list of things that was wrong with it.

We are a part of the Daniels Club and couldn’t be happier with the service and attention we get from this company! Being new to the area and living in our dream home, my husband and I want to make sure we keep things up to date and running properly. Excellent customer service. I wanted to replace my swamp cooler with AC and reached out to five different companies. Daniels provided a knowledgeable consultant (Bryan) and was able to schedule the installation within a couple of weeks. I have used Daniel's heating and cooling now for the 3rd time on 2 separate homes. I have had nothing but great experiences. Yesterday Patrick was here to service my furnace. He ran into a few hiccups with my furnace and he never skipped a beat. He stayed until I had all the information I needed and he had a sales person come out to quote a new unit. I had someone from Albuquerque plumbing at my house a few days ago to help unclog my bathtub. After charging me over $100 the guy left and said everything was fixed. Two days later I wake up to both of my bathrooms flooded. The manager there didn't offer to help and pretty much told me too bad. Called Daniels and they immediately sent out Barney. He not only fixed the clog, but was explaining everything he was doing and why. He was very friendly, professional, & knowledgeable. When searching for refrigerated air estimates call this company first! Most pleasant experience! Jacob and Chris are top notch in terms of knowledge work ethic and customer service skills. The efficiency of the installation was amazing to watch. When Robbie came out to give us our estimate he impressed us right off the bat! The gentleman was very knowledgeable about my water heater issue. He told me i need a new water heater.. since i couldn't afford one he offered to clean it up and try to get it started. He did for a while but it went out yet again. So i had to get a new one anyway.. but he did his best and i appreciate it.

Our water heater stopped working. Preston from Daniel's came out. He was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Since the unit could not be repaired he was able to get us a good price on a new unit and came back to install it. The job was done efficiently. He explained everything he had done and was again very professional. We would happily recommend Daniel's.

I was thoroughly impressed with this company, as well as the representative, Kevin, who serviced my gas log fireplace. Kevin's professionalism was second to none. They accommodated me on short notice, even though I had never used them as a vendor. The integrity and professionalism all of their employees I dealt with to get this service, were second to none. Pretty disappointed. Daniel’s didn’t come out. I asked the receptionist if I could tell her what was going on with my fireplace and she said it wouldn’t help her. Asked if the tech could call me so they would know if they could fix it, what the problem is, model etc. she told me that would not be possible and that they would show up and charge me 67 dollars without so much as an inkling of what might be going on. It was unprofessional and irresponsible imho. Too bad.

Air conditioner died yesterday with 100 + degrees outside. The folks at Daniel's HVAC signed me up with an emergency situation. Dennis came the house but because I didn't call during business hours the required past was not available until today. Dennis came back today and was able to get it going with the new parts. He also cleaned off the coils while he was in there. We were VERY pleased with the staff that worked with me over the phone and we loved Dennis. He was so professional, courteous and respectful. Our long time HVAC repairman died and went out of business so we needed a new one and Daniel's HVAC will be our go to company. My special thanks to Dennis and Paula in the office.

Called about a leaking water heater. They told me it would be a week before someone could come take a look; they charge $60 just for showing up, then another charge for evaluation. Once they determined what needed to be done, they'd give me a quote for the work that needed to be done.

Daniels replaced a frost free hose bib for me. Between the time that I had the estimate and when the work was performed, the plumber who gave me an estimate left the company. There was some confusion regarding the brand of hose bib quoted and what was installed as a result of working with two different people. Daniels resolved the issue for me and I am pleased with their work and concern for customer satisfaction. Randy the technician was pleasant and did the work quickly. I have had other work done by Daniels in the past and I would gladly recommend them.

One star is one too many for this company. I called them to come fix a main water line leak at my residence and when the unpersonable technician showed up, I showed him where the leak was and he got to work. The technician was unprepared, having limited tools and required to drive to Lowe’s two times during that time to purchase additional tools. The technician finished the job 4 hours later (including travel time to and from Lowe’s). The technician wrote up the invoice billing me for the parts he bought at Lowe’s and 4 hours of time. I complained and informed him I was not willing to pay for his mistake of being unprepared and requiring additional tools and he discounted the invoice billing me only 2.5 hrs instead which I appreciated and paid.

Two days later (on Friday) the line was again leaking and I called the company to inform them the issue was not resolved. I was hung up on two times and kept calling back before finally speaking to an unfriendly woman who said on Monday she would send the technician back to assess the leak once again. I was again without water the entire weekend and waited patiently until Monday.

On Monday the same technician (Chris) came back and began messing with the pipe using a pipe rench and after informed me the leak was somewhere else. A few minutes later, he showed me a different area and said the leak was further up the line and the entire line would need to be replaced or he could charge me for two more hours of labor to fix the leak. When I declined, he stated I would have to call the office to get an estimate for remedying the issue which I believe was caused by his faulty work.

When I called the office later that day, I was told they would send out a master technician to determine what is the problem. Two days later the master tech came , took a look and said they would email me an estimate, as I was expecting for them to take into consideration the $400 I had already paid for nothing as the leak was not fixed. Still being without water, I waited and waited another three days and still never received their email with the estimate. I called the office several times asking for the estimate and they said they had emailed it and were unhelpful when I informed them I never received it.

I was forced to contact another company to fix the line so I could resume having water access to my home. I never received the email from Daniels hvac nm, a call back, or refund for the money I paid. I am very dissatisfied with company, they are dishonest, unprepared and try to just rack up people’s hard earned dollars without doing honest work. I would advise anyone considering hiring this company to look elsewhere for your hvAc needs. I am currently in the process of taking legal action to get my money back from this company.

We have been out of hot water and heat for few days now, the gentleman had to order the part on a Thursday which would t be in till Monday. Barney came out Monday fixed it, still no hot water or heat so he came back out tonight. He has gone way over and beyond to help us knowing we had our grandkids living here as well. I was very pleased with the plumbing service I received from Barney. He came out and worked hard to diagnose what was going on with our toilet. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond and I really appreciate all the help he provided.

1-16-20 around 630am I was driving southbound on Coors right before arenal one of Daniel’s drivers in unit 12 was tailgating me and flashing his lights I was driving 50mph 5mph over the legal limit . Medium traffic there no way for me to get into the right lane once I was able to unit 12 sped past me and was so close to me he almost hit me then In and out of traffic nearly hitting other Drivers aswell cutting them of to turn on to old coors I do have footage of this incident if They care to see it The way he was driving is unacceptable and is Putting a lot of drivers lifes at risk and even his I called multiple times and no one would pick up

Josh, Daniels' technician, repaired our Gas fireplace and was one of the most conscientious and thorough techs I've ever experienced. He won't leave the job until everything works 100% and clean. I'm keeping his name handy.

Experience was great from the start, the Receptionist was very professional and attentive. Estimation was on key for new water heater (recommend always to get three estimates if time allows). Barney G and the owners son did the actual change out, very professional and Courteous. They took time to show me the ins and out of the new water heater at the completion of the install.

Spoke with a nice lady to schedule and said there is a $70.00 charge to Diagnosed that is wave if they perform Job. The technician who show was very nice and friendly while I knew what I need it to replaced was the condensate pump, he performed the Job only to be as surprised as me when he pull out the charges $325.00 typically a pump this type is about $80.00 retail and labor about $75.00/ hr this amount to about $155.00. I’ve declined to pay the $70 diagnosed fee and still felt taking advantage. I was going to asked for a replacement unit which will be probably in the up’s of $5000.00 but this company are out too get you with out interest in service and customer care. Never used them again ripoffs.

If I didnt have child support concerns I would of took him up on his offer to save with the service contract, cuz im going to get my cooler start up next, no worries for two years- you bet! It goes with out saying that Dave knew what he was doing but he made the issue go away and set my expectations for what I can expect from my HVAC unit and that Daniel Heating and Cooling would be right there with me!

I wouldn't trust the family. I just had experience renting a room to the son Amadeo, bragged how amazing his families business is with so much integrity. then after he rented a room i found multiple items missing including check books from my home. He left his mother n law to clean the room and deal with what he took. I had to call the cops and became a huge mess when he left. If he is a representation of the family and the business i wouldn't trust them.

Unfortunately though, the company as a whole is pretty disorganized. Throughout the process, I was called by a Daniel's associate asking if I wanted my yearly Swamp Cooler Service (after I had approved the A/C install and had already had my yearly Swamp Cooler service performed...did this before we decided on converting). I was called by different associates to confirm appointments after they had already been confirmed. I also requested an invoice showing the amount paid for the PNM rebate and had to call them 3 times reminding them I still needed it. I would rate their customer service:

I went with Daniel's as I knew they would do a good install, and they had a good price, but with their level of disorganization it didn't make for the most stress free process. When someone is spending this much money with you (basically the price of a new car), it would be thought it would be a slightly smoother process.

Therefore, overall I would rate Daniel's a 4/5.

I would like to express to everyone out there to please shop around before making a final decision like I didnt do. Unfortunately I converted my AC and heater using Daniel's and to this day I still regret jumping and making the decision rather than shopping around! First and foremost the techs made it sound like I would be getting the best deal possible which I ended up dishing out close to $10,000 to convert everything! I was told by the technician that I would be a part of Daniel's club for the life of me living at my house. Which meant I would get discounted parts if for some reason something happened, plus daniels would come out once in the summer and once in the winter to change filters, check valves, etc. Well this only happened for the first year after I had dished out the money and paid them. I finally remembered that I still had this option and called today to remind them, and they changed the whole story around saying that I am only a part of Daniel's club for one year???? I mean honestly I could have received this unit if not a better unit in my house including duct work for alot cheaper than $10,000 please people shop around get 3 estimates before making a decision trust me its not worth the investment...... the air doesnt even hit in my kitchen because Daniel's messed up one of my ducts and pretended to fix it!!!! Now I am out $10,000 and half a working system thanks guys!

This is a pretty bad Company I have ever seen... Stay away or taking the risk as u wish... They charged me over $420 for coming out on Sunday - replacing the fuse on my AC unit plus some unknown electrical troubleshooting as specified by the Field Tech. The AC unit was running for 1 day and failed again the next day :( I have to call someone else... Shame on you... Never again!

Recently had a furnace and A/C installation with a new electrical panel. Sales person (Robbie) was extremely professional when providing the quote and this is one of the reasons I selected Daniels. Installation was done efficiently and the employees were friendly and kept everything neat and tidy.

What a joke!!!! I called about my water heater because it was leaking. Daniels came to the scene and the guy looked at my water heater for thirty seconds and told me I needed a whole new unit and quoted me $2,800.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to replace the whole thing! I told him no!!! and he ran off with my $75.00 service fee.

I had a family friend come over to look at it! He exams the unit and went to Lowe’s and bought a new valve for $20 bucks and replaced it back to normal!

If you go with Daniels better get a second opinion!!!

This company has a heart: Our heat went out on the coldest week of the year and we had a 6 week old baby. We couldn't get a company to come out -- everyone was booked, including Daniels. However, when they heard about our newborn, they rearranged schedules to get technicians to our house, and their very capable and friendly staff stayed late on a Friday night to fix the problem. Not only are they good at their jobs, they care about people. They made customers for life this week!

Ramon arrived on Monday and he was very professional in the servicing of my Heating Unit Daniels got the job done as always. I was very satisfied with the work that was done.

Daniels heating and air conditioning is the worst business I have had the misfortune of calling: 1)I bought a lime scale filter and asked the so called techs to install it. Not only did they not install it they took it with them when they left. 2) When I called them to get service to change the pads the lady said it would cost $90.00 plus $l10 pads ( plural) but they were $10 each. after they left my swamp cooler seemed OK but when the temperature reached 85 out side the temp in my house was 81. Every other year my cooler kept the temp in my house in the low 70ties never 80 I figured that the plastic pads must not be as good as the straw ones so I had my son-in law change them. The ones they had installed were used and falling apart. When I called them they hung up on me so I guess the courts are my option now. I am a disabled veteran they were aware of this and took advantage. Boo Boo Boo... .

We contacted Daniel's after another A/C contractor messed up the install for our Ecobee wall thermostats. We called Sat 1/27/18 at 3:00 and by 3:30 Kevin was at our door, ready willing and able to help. He installed 3 the wall thermostat units and programmed 3 a/c units (on roof) to be able to get things working like they should. He also showed us how to program the app on phone and program ecobee on the wall in all 3 locations. Kevin also informed us that the previous contractor had blown our transformer hence we had to replace that to get system working again. Kevin is well informed, knew exactly what to do, installed everything we had to install and was able to get us up and running the same eve. He worked overtime to help us get our heating units running again. We will use Daniels/Kevin again when needed!! Kevin is very professional, friendly, honest and knowledgeable technician!!!

Barney showed up extremely quickly in response to our Sunday afternoon plumbing emergency and solved the problem quickly. He was communicative and courteous and sent photos so I could see what came out of our clogged line. Plumbing rates always shock me, so that was the only downside (other than having plumbing issues in the first place!). Thanks Barney & Daniels plumbing.

We had issues with our radient heat system, water was flowing from our dischage outlet. Naturally we had no idea as to cause. Fortunately we called Daniels and had the great good fortune to welcome JOE and let him provide the immediate solution as well as some system's upgrade that will address easier future maintenance if and when required. Great response to a problem with previously done work. The girl that answers the phone tried really hard to get me a repair man as quickly as possible. Barney was an excellent plumber. Quickly fixed my problem free if charge. We will call with all future issues.

Though I only had a minor leaky bathroom faucet, the problem was that the shut-off values to the faucet were so corroded that they would not turn at all.
Consequently, I could not fix the problem myself.

The young man sent by Daniels was on time and very effiecient. He had to hack saw off the values and replace the lines to the faucet before he could fix the minor leak. He worked hard, lubricated the faucet handles and cleaned up after himself.

Very pleased with the service.

I will be calling Daniels later this year to have my furnace and gas fireplace checked to ensure proper operation.

We have used Daniels many times in the past. This time we had them do 2 jobs for us. One was converting to refrigerated air and moving a condensing unit at a duplex. The other was installing a new return air duct system at our house. Both jobs were done concurrently and both were done with the usual outstanding service. Technicians at both sites were professional, friendly, and knowledgable. Excellent work and both were finished early. Thanks again Daniels for the great service!

Work was completed to satisfaction. Scheduling took longer than I would expect. I had to wait over a month to resolve our issues. Prices, compared to other plumbers I have worked with seemed a little too high. Also didn't like that I had to pay 50 percent down before any work was completed and that the trip charge was not applied to cost of service like other plumbers in town.

Josh F. converted my wood fireplace (3 sided) to a gas fireplace, and it not only looks spectacular with the type of wood/grate installed, it gives off a lot of heat! Called Daniels to set up an emergency call out at 5pm on a Saturday for our refrigerated air conditioner the capacitor gave out. Their dispatch advised they would send out a technician. 3 1/2 hours later the technician TEXT that Daniels doesn't do emergency calls. Keep in mind it was 101 degrees that day. The technician again TEXT that we should call someone else. We called the dispatcher and she said, she has no IDEA what their scheduling is like. She only answers the phones, and offered no resolutions. We called TLC and they came out with in 2 hours to save the day.. I would not recommend Daniels to anyone.

Daniels recently installed a mini-split system in my house. It was a great experience from start to finish. I first met with the consultant and project manager, Brian, who explained very clearly all of the details regarding the system and accompanied me on a walk through in order to determine where the components would be placed. The day of the installation, everyone arrived on time and the technicians, Tim and Nate, and electrician, Luis worked efficiently and professionally throughout a very hot day. They kept me posted about their tasks and were all friendly and personable. They completed the project earlier than I expected and tested the system to make sure everything was working properly before they left. They also left my property very clean. I cannot recommend them enough - the system works great and I'm truly thankful to have it during this prolonged period of excessive heat in Albuquerque! Thanks, guys!!

We had a new furnace installed about 3 weeks ago. They did excellent work and we were impressed with the whole process. They added a new installation on my outdoor faucet to connect to my swamp cooler-then just took off without telling me how to use it with my garden hose and etc. It completely messed with my water pressure and now it does not work.

Had previously called another company to come fix our AC. The second time, it cost us after hrs price of 180$. He looked at it and said I needed an electrician to replace the breaker from a 50amp to a 40amp... and it clearly states that the ac min amp is 45.... called Daniel's, and the guy came out and had it up and going in no time. NO, changing a breaker. Great knowledgeable tech and great customer service.

I do NOT recommend them. Had someone out to look at our gas fireplace. He quoted us over $1000 (yes, $1000) to fix a minor issue. Said he’d have to replace many parts and basically rebuild the whole thing. After some discussion he stated he could do it for $700 but couldn’t guarantee the problem would be solved. We called another fireplace repairman because I just couldn’t believe the bid was so high. The other guy came out and fixed it for $120. $120. And it works perfectly. So either they intentionally gouge their customers or have no idea how to fix fireplaces. Neither is good.

Great Service at a Fair price from honest people!

Called to schedule a yearly check up for my air-conditioner, the lady who answer the phone was incompetent, hard to understand and rude. She said I had to buy a package deal for $250: check for air-conditioner for the summer and another check in the fall for heating. I told her I only wanted the air-condition check, she kept insisting I had to get the package deal. After much useless conversation, she finally said the air-con check was $150 when a checkup is typical around $120. Then she also added if the technician had to change the air filter, that would be extra.... it was said in a nasty tone. Will not do business with them again!

A technician was sent out to my home today to repair my AC issues. I was told the issue was “fixed” and was charged close to $500.00 for the repairs. When I got home over 4 hours later the AC was not cooling my home and was having the exact issue it was before it was “fixed”. I called Daniels back to have them send out a technician to check the issue and was told I would be charged another $200.00 fee because it was after hour’s! Of course I refused to pay yet another $200.00 .....because of this I was told the technician that worked on the Repairs would come by the following day after 4pm to evaluate the AC. After almost $500.00 was spent I am without a properly working AC unit and my house is 90 degrees inside! This is not except-able service.

I can't speak for their service because I did not hire them but, I can tell you that they wanted to bill $69 (as a TRIP CHARGE) to come to our home to provide an estimate to install a gas line. Granted, they would've applied the $69 towards the installation and I understand that time is money but as a licensed electrician, I've NEVER charged a customer for ANY estimate, big job or small. I'll look for another reputable installer elsewhere.

I had an appointment for Friday 4/28 between 1 pm and 5 pm. Israel and gentleman that was with him (I didn’t get his name), arrived a little after 2 pm. My toilet’s tank wasn’t filling up with water. They both replaced the internal parts and were done in about 15 minutes! Israel recommended replacing the toilet in the near future (which I’m going to do). Thank you to both you guys for coming out so fast! I will call Daniel’s in the future to replace my toilet. Very fast and professional service!

Wanted over $200 in labor to install a new motor on a swamp cooler that we had bought from them just a couple of years ago plus the cost of the motor plus the service call fee. Bunch of rip off artist. Plus I already had the old motor out.

We just had a mini split system installed and we couldn’t be happier. Robbie was very professional and stood by his expert opinion. His communication was top notch, great follow up. Our technicians Kyle and Tim were very respectful of our house and dog. The system is so quiet and very efficient. It suits our small house needs. Thank you Daniels!

We were quoted $160 plus parts to get the heat turned back on. By the time Ramon left our total was $634. And we still didn't have heat. He cajoled my husband in to signing the invoice but wouldn't let him READ the invoice. Then wanted to charge us another $400 to come back and make the heat work. Whenever we tried to talk to someone besides Ramon we were not allowed to speak...all they did was talk over us. Extremely disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT CALL DANIEL'S HEATING!!!!

Chris Schirmer just serviced to my heater for the winter and replaced a part in my air conditioning system. He did a superb job of solving a major problem with my cooling system, and encourages me to now get a U.V. filtration system for my health which I plan to do. He was courteous and efficient to the extreme. Again, Daniel's Heating and Cooling sends the best people with the best expertise one could ever hope for. I highly recommend them as well as Chris Schirmer.

I was very pleased with the Air conditioning service i received from Ramon. He came over and worked hard to diagnose what was going on with my cooling system on my unit. Their driver was driving like a maniac and literally almost clipped me on the freeway because he decided to go from the far right lane almost completely perpendicular to traffic to the far left lane so he could make the exist to head north where the freeways meet.

I called as a first time customer and they wanted $75 bucks just to come out! They called it a trip charge. I drive a Hummer H3T truck. $75 bucks will give me two tanks of gas and will take me 500 miles if not further. No bueno. I can see if this was a credit applied if you used their services but that's insane. The gal that called me to schedule an appointment didn't even know where Madrid was and she's been here her entire life? Seriously? My search continues.

Jason came and checked a wall heater That I could not keep the pilot light on. He found out that the limit switch was not working properly. He replaced the switch and cleaned and washed the heater unit. The workplace was left sparkling clean. excellent job!

We had to make a weekend call to get our water heater functioning and we were worried about the cost. We called anyway just to see and not only was the weekend rate pretty reasonable, they were able to get out to our house in less than an hour. Both the person on the phone helping us schedule and the service people were friendly and extremely helpful! We will definitely be using Daniels in the future.

Our unit was old and another company told us that it was extremely costly to refill the frion because they didn’t make “that kind” anymore. We called Daniels and they quoted us hundreds less and refilled it with no problem. A year later, we found out our unit had a leak and it was time to replace it. After getting the money together, we made the appointment to replace the unit. And in less than an eight hour day, we had cold air again. We thought we were going to have to stay in a hotel overnight because it is over 90 to 100 degrees every day.

Jacob was the one that worked on our unit. He was honest, straightforward, hardworking and very professional. He double checked his work to make sure the job was done right! You don’t find good service like that anymore.

After we purchased our home, we found out the HVAC system was installed by Daniel's, and was still under warranty. Over the last three years, we've had Daniel's out for duct cleaning, HVAC maintenance and replacement, and a bunch of plumbing issues, from installing new toilets, faucets, replacing water heater. The list goes on. What matters most, is great service, honest pricing and the job done right. Speaking of doing the job right the first time, many times Daniel's has sent Josh to provide the service. What a lovely, hardworking, smart, man of integrity Josh is. Home ownership is a challenge, especially in a 50 year old house, I feel so grateful to know my plumbing, and HVAC issues will be handed by Daniel's.

My experience was not good at all. It requires 2 vists & $900 later to get my AC working. The work on the first visit caused the motor to burn out. Regardless what Michelle tried to convince me. It was very obvious that the service perform on the first visit was incomplete, because after be left the a.c. was not working & making loud noises. Could not get them to come back without being charged after hours fees. AC completely shut down less than a week later.
Asked for owner Daniel to call me, I am still waiting. Communication is horrible! I believe a good business practice is communication with customers. The owner obviously reflects his business ethics by not returning his customer calls.
Best form of advertisement is word of mouth....I have shared my experience with many.
Good work ethic is make things better for the customer. Own your mistake, learn from it & move forward!

Daniels replaced my old swamp cooler and furnace in April 2020 with a Refrigerated air and furnace combo. It has been great, My bills are lower and not having to deal with swamp cooler maintenance, easily makes the installation worth it. Daniels showed up with masks and tarps and started working right on time and were finished with the installation and cleaning up by 4:00. Excellent service, I will do business with this company for all my future plumbing needs.

I recently had a new furnace installed, I found the installers to be knowledgeable and polite. About, three days after the new furnace was installed I decided to get all ductwork cleaned. I called Daniels because our ancient furnace was making a loud noise when it started up. Another local company told me their first appointment was in three weeks. Daniels sent Ken out the same day to make sure we were not in danger of a gas explosion. Ken sent Ted to talk to us about a new furnace, and then returned with Daniel, the owner, to check the system again and clean and service the furnace. All of this within a week and for a single service call fee. That's the kind of service that will keep me going back to a company. Daniels will be our heating and cooling company from now on.

Daniels installed a new furnace and refrigerated air system, removed my old swamp cooler, and extended the HVAC venting to an area that had not previously had any into my home.

Sales didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and made sure he understood what I was asking for. After visiting me in my home I quickly received the quote. I requested quotes from three different providers (all very well reviewed). I had several people look them over, and everyone agreed that Daniels was the best quote with the best quality for me.

I am so very happy with the work that was done, but even more, the technicians that worked in my home were absolutely phenomenal. It took two days to complete the work, as predicted, and the techs were always on time, professional, courteous, cleaned up after themselves, well-spoken, knew their work, and had a great working relationship between themselves. I have an unusual roof, and they had no problem speaking and working with the roofing company to ensure the roof's integrity was maintained.

The techs explained everything to me and made sure I understood what was going to happen, what did happen, and what to expect. Everyone I spoke with during the whole process was customer oriented and helpful. Should I have the opportunity, I will happily and confidently refer everyone to Daniels!

Be prepared for extra charges and poor customer service. The technicians are pleasant enough but the main office, Christina, is extremely rude. We are taking our business elsewhere.

Ted was wonderful to work with answering all of our questions. The installation crew were true professionals, everything is perfect. I couldn't imagine an installation in their own home looking better. I recommend Daniels without any hesitation.

We have been using Daniel’s to repair our air conditioning unit for a few years now... last year we used them to install a new water heater which cost about 3k, but we trusted them. A year later we decide to replace our air conditioning unit and wanted a few bids before we made a final decision. The first person out asked about our water heater and where the inspection sticker was... inspection sticker???? We had no clue, so we called Daniel’s and according to them they forgot to get it inspected when it was installed, not a problem, things happen... but here is where I got upset, they wanted to charge us for the inspection and the unit which THEY installed needed updates to pass inspection ... the office manager literally argued with me about paying for this... said, what’s the difference between paying for the inspection last year or this year??? Could not believe it, they also blamed it on the plumber who installed it and was no longer with the company, so do I hunt Them down and make them pay??? Seriously 😐
They finally agreed to pay for the inspection, but I will definitely not be purchasing my air conditioning unit and furnace from them... they do not stand by their work. They lost a good customer

I have to give Daniels Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning a big thumbs up!! I have nothing but the highest praise for thir tech Kevin after the job he did today on our boiler. After quickly dagnosing a number of factors that were causing the unit to function poorly, he set about the repair work efficiently and effectively. During the entire process he was unfailingly polite, and took the time to clearly explain the problems at hand and the steps he was taking to remedy them. He did a top-notch job all around! Even the cleaning up of the boiler was outstanding!

Called about a leaking water heater. Told when to expect tech. He arrived 1 hr early. Barney quickly spotted a leaking flexline not the tank. Repaired in no time with a smile. Great service as I have come to expect.

We came to Daniel's for our a/c conversion from swamp to refrigerated air. We were able to get in quickly and get it done before the heat hit.

First off - Robbie came in and was extremely knowledgeable, and gave us confidence that they could do the job. The technicians (Tim and Aystin) were on time and even though we were quoted a 2 day job, they finished at 3pm the first day!

Needless to say we were stoked. 100% would recommend.

It's been a long morning at my apartment complex, but thanks to BARNEY we were able to get the sewage overflow down. I highly recommend him, he is very friendly, informative and stays on task!

Recently had Daniels come out and look at my roof top furnace/AC unit. I don't usually write reviews and judging from the good reviews Daniels has I was hesitant about this one. The tech showed up as promised and I explained I had my unit converted to natural gas in Feb.and the ignite replaced. When the weather changed recently I had no heat. He was on my roof maybe 15 mins, which I understood it was cold and windy out. He came in house with his little iPad thing and said your circuit board is burnt, your inducer fan is on its last leg and you have hail damage to the fins on the coil. You need a new furnace Then the really bad news, $8,000 and we have a different in stock. So I wrote a check (deposit) for $4000 and he photoed it and it was automatically deposited. Two weeks till installation. Within next week I had unexpected expenses come in and I had to cancel the whole thing. So I called Daniels for a refund, don't think they wanted to do that. They finally agreed to send me a check, minus service charge, diagnostic fee, and possibly restocking charge. That was now 11 days ago. Hmmm, in mean time I decided to look at my furnace. First hail damage to cooling fins has nothing to do with heat, next I looked at my neighbors circuit board, hmmm same dark spots where resistor was soldered in, third my board was winking and blinking at me with a code, if it has enough life to tell me something is wrong then it should have life to give me some heat. I looked around and voila, found mounting screws for igniter really loose, tightened them, pulled fuse on circuit board, checked ok and put it back, voila again, no more winking and blinking just steady red light. Guess what, my furnace now works as well if not better than it ever has. Hope to see a refund check soon

Great staff, quality products, good prices. We had a mini-split system installed in our garage apartment. We first met with Robbie who told us about our options and gave us a detailed estimate. He also got us an early install date which was wonderful. The installation team - Jacob and Josh - arrived on time, polite and Covid-safe, did excellent work, and left everything cleaner than when they arrived. The system is incredibly quiet and does a fantastic job – worth every penny. Jacob and Josh answered all our questions and told us everything they thought we should know about how to work the system. The company also provide a year of free follow up. I strongly recommend Daniels Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning.

Called and asked for someone to come out for a free estimate to replace my leaking system (leak identified previously by Signature) and supposedly how I worded it... They end up charging me a service call. Got my scheduling wrong twice, and wouldn't change this $75 service call to a free estimate, as I already know what's wrong and need a replacement. I'm considering a $15,000 new HVAC system, yet they wouldn't eat their mistake of $75. Ignorant. Never use this company. Worthless. I couldn't imagine having service issues and having to deal with these batch of idiots anymore than one.

Poor customer service by Michelle, poor service on my ac. It required two service calls because of wires left exposed on the first call. The exposed wires got caught on fan & burn out the motor . They took no responsibility for the poor quality of work provided on the first service call. AC was never working properly after the first call. Could not get them to come back without being charged after hours fees. I have asked to have the owner Daniel call me & I am still waiting. I now understand it is a reflection of the service they provide. Obviously the customer is of no importance even after spending $900. Own your mistakes & treat your customers with respect . Michelle was rude & lacked any compassion & took no responsibility for the poor quality of service we were given. Very disappointed customer. Will not use or refer this business.

I want to express my sincerest appreciation to Chris (technician); Michelle, and Angel (customer service agents). Their diligence, positive effort, patience, and understanding helped in averting a serious medical issue. Our air conditioner was inoperative. My wife had a medical condition (her immune system was affected because of chemotherapy and radiation). So she needed immediate cooling. Chris arrived and found what appeared to be the problem (bad capacitor) within 15 minutes. He ran the system and also found the fan motor was bad. The problem was he had to order it and pick it up. I was worried we had to go without A/C again. He did this within two hours and replaced it. We now have cooling A/C. No more open doors and windows; using fans and crosswind method (hoping the wind was blowing). Michelle and Angel helped in getting us
scheduled timely since my wife had a medical appointment. Bottom-line, everything worked out where the A/C is fully operational and I could take my wife to her doctor's appointment. Again, my sincerest gratitude to all the personnel at Daniel's. Please keep up the excellent customer service.
Amended portion 22 Jun 18: A follow up visit will not be forthcoming without an additional trip charge even though installation was performed. Even after suggesting if a tech was in the vicinity and working with their schedule, a $69.00 trip charge would be assessed if they find nothing wrong. A big disappointment for complete customer satisfaction. Just wanted a professional assessment of the work that was completed on the fan motor since that had to be replaced. I feel I am hearing the same noise I heard before the replacement. I would think the A/C would be much quieter because it is a brand new motor. Deleted a star for follow up service.

After speaking to Daniels. I'm changing the review from 2 stars to 5 stars. It seems there was a bit of a miscommunication. Per company policy, prices are to be discussed before any work is performed. It seems it was an honest mistake on the technician's side. So being charged for services not requested is likely an isolated incident. Instead of an evaluation, the technician provided maintenance to our unit (and few other things). Like stated before, the work he did was done exceptionally well, with great attention to detail. The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable. I was able to pick his brain on a few things and he happily answered every question I had regarding our heating system. At the end, our unit did need a bit of TLC and the technician did a great job of that so we agreed to pay for the maintenance. Kudos to their Customer Service and Support. We were freaking out but they were really patient with us. They went out of their way to work with us after this incident. It may be a bit more than other companies but you get what you pay for and, in this case, you get a ton.

Recently I had a bad faucet in the back yard & a noisy swamp cooler. I wasn't able to be there but the instructions I told the office were given to the technician. Barney replaced the hose bib and called me after He evaluated the swam cooler. I told him We were not ready to do the change over yet and I was going to handle the simple things. He gave me a list of prices for each part of the service including replacing the noisy pump. The prices were very reasonable. I'm very pleased with Barney's work and attitude. I've used Daniel's HVAC in the past and I will continue to due so.

My swamp cooler was leaking a lot of water and I was struggling to find someone to come out quickly. I called Daniels and the very helpful operator was able to send out a technician who was ahead of schedule. It ended up being a simple fix, debris was blocking the float valve. My issue was solved quickly and for a very fair price. Everyone else I called basically said I was out of luck, so I was very appreciative of them going above and beyond to help me. Highly recommend!

Went out to my house to perform a service. The only person there was my 15 year old son whom they had sign for the work. Not one call to me to ask why I wasn't there or where the mis-communication was. I've used Daniels in the past and the service is very hit or miss.

Avoid them like the plague! Failed to test the AC after installation and my house rattled like a penny in a tin can the first time I turned it on. They put an air intake 10 feet from the kiva fireplace in my casita and it filled the house with smoke - they said they didn't think I would use the fireplace after the heater/ac was installed (?!?!?) The only remaining air intake in the house is 1/2 inch too small for me to buy standard sized filters and so I have to special order them. They told me Wednesday they would be here at 8 AM Friday to service the unit - then called at 7:50 AM to tell me it would be 10 AM. I am so done with Daniels!

Robbie did the initial consultation - communicated the available options and was very receptive to my concerns and needs. Tim and Pat did the two day installation - I found both men to be focused and highly competent, asked for my input with aesthetic details throughout, and very polite and friendly.

I would like to thank Christina and Daniel's Plumbing for their quick response and fixing my issue. I called on a Sunday and Christina responded to my call via text to assess my problem. I called on a Sunday because my neighbor let me know that my 5-zone unit on top of my roof had fallen over and off the rubber supports. I did not know what to do and I was worried that freon would be leaking and the copper connections would be damaged. Christina quickly scheduled a team to come out the very next day. The technicians arrived the next day earlier than scheduled. They were nice and informative. They did not hesitate to assess the problem and fixed my issue by bolting down the unit to the rubber support shoes.
I would have given this experience a 5 star review but, unfortunately, it seems during the installation, the install team missed the step to bolt down the unit to the rubber shoes which caused my issue on Sunday. I understand mistakes happen but what is important is how a company handles issues when a problem is found; I will say that Daniel's plumbing handled this problem with excellent customer care and I wanted to say Thank you to Christina, the technicians, and Daniel's Plumbing for their great customer care experience.

I called Daniels for an estimate to get my house repiped. They were responsive and came out. I was told to expect an estimate in about 3-5 working days. After a week, I still had not received an estimate, so I called. The nice lady told me that the estimate was not complete, but Ken was coming in to the office so he can finish it and give me a call. It has been over a month and I have not heard a word since. If you don't want the job, just say so. Don't leave me hanging.

I typically maintain my own HVAC, including summer and winter change overs. My Mastercool was blowing warm air all last summer. Daniels friendly tech came by and notified me of the wrong sized pads, old drain plug and old floater. They had the most reasonable price on the change over and gave me a 10% discount on the parts. My AC is now blowing nice and fresh cold air. Daniels was affordable, on time, reliable and friendly. Will use them moving forward. Highly recommend Daniels Heating and Air Conditioning.

I've been having trouble with my toilet for quite sometime now. Other plummers who've come out to attempt to rectify the situation have failed! When Daniels Plumming, Heating and Air came to my home, it was an answer to my prayers. Barney Gallegos worked effectively on it with the end result we both were looking for. It was quite refreshing to meet someone honest and reliable who cared to solve my toilet issues. Thanks so much Barney! This is the only plummer I will be calling from now on!

This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Initially, I had high hopes for this company because a good friend referred me to them. The sales guy seemed knowledgeable and helpful. We agreed on a contract, and the guys that came to install seemed great. Unfortunately, this is when things turn south. There were things in our initial agreement that they tried to avoid fulfilling, and said the sales guy didn’t know what he was doing, that he was new, and that he no longer was with the company. Part of the agreement was to move my old EVAC unit and install it at a different location. They grudgingly fulfilled this because I proved it was in our agreement. Since the installation was done in November they said they would come back and setup the EVAC unit during the spring. I called them, and they wanted to charge me to finish the installation. Again, I had to prove that the job wasn’t completed. They couldn’t get the unit to run, and claimed that it must be an electrical issue. This wasn’t included, and I would have to hire someone else. I ended up talking to a manager, and she was very rude. I asked that if I hired an electrician, and they didn’t find anything wrong, if they would reimburse me. She argued very rudely that it wasn’t their problem, and that they wouldn’t pay for anything. I only wanted reassurance that I wouldn’t spend money because they had a hunch. Now I’m winterizing the unit, and the slit for the metal sheet to stop airflow from the furnace escaping to the outside was not there. I called to get an explanation, and they said they would call me back the next day. I didn’t get a call. I called them, and they said they left a VM. There was no voicemail. Again they didn’t have an answer other than sending a tech and charging me $50, and immediately said they wouldn’t give me anything for free, when I hadn’t asked for anything. The employee I talked to said that she couldn’t get a hold of any of the techs or the supervisor because they never return calls or emails. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

I have had excellent service from Chris every time he has come out to inspect my heating and cooling systems. I had excellent service when they replaced my air conditioner. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I didn't have great service when I requested a quote on installing a water filter. There was a mix-up in having someone come quote it versus just doing it and then when the representative came out he severely over-estimated. He wanted to cut open my wall and charge me $1100 for 2 guys to do the work. When I got the work done by someone else, I had one guy do it for less than 1/2 that price and he did not have to cut open my wall. I have since learned that this person is no longer working there. I do continue to work with Daniels, however, because I get excellent, no-BS service from Chris! He comes out when he says he will and gets the job done! If you need a good technician, ask for Chris!

Called for gas fireplace repair (answering people were super unfriendly), they did send out a tech to look at it, he had some knowledge of gas inserts, said he fixed the issue and was very nice yet charged the $69 service fee and another $200 for his expertise. I was in sticker shock but thought it was cheaper than a new insert. Well it worked for about a week then went out, I called back and they did send a second tech that had more insight into fireplace inserts, a great guy! He did the best he could and it worked better for a while, and got us through the winter months. It has again quit working, so I am in a hunt to replace the insert. When I called to talk to ask about what they could offer all I was told is it would cost $69 to come out to give me an estimate on a new insert. I was in disbelief and asked I just want an estimate for a new insert and like a robot all they kept repeating is they charge the $69. I am done with this unfriendly customer service place. Very matter of fact so if you like unfriendly people answering the phones then call this place!

Daniel’s is outrageously over charging. I heard their ad on the radio and I needed a new furnace in a pinch. I should have shopped around but didn’t have the time. They charged me over $5,000 for a small upstairs furnace. A few months later, the thermostat was not working properly and the sent out a tech, he was nice guy, but Daniel’s had the audacity to charge a $70 fee for sending the tech. It’s sad that they pretend to be a trustworthy business when they are not. The upstairs furnace is half the size as my downstairs furnace and cost me twice as much because Daniel’s saw me coming…

Israel Lopez came out for a service call to remove a gas line. Israel was on time and knowledgeable in gas service. Most importantly he explained to us the work to be done and how to most efficiently perform the job. He was courteous, friendly and very professional.

My wife and I just had a new HVAC system installed to replace our antiquated 19-year-old predecessor. From my very first phone call with Brian to my final handshake with Aystin, the whole process has been remarkable. The pricing of our new system is better than what we were quoted by another well-known local company for a system not as high-end as the one Daniel’s provided, and the 5-year labor warranty is outstanding. Our installation required that modifications be made to our home to accommodate the new system because it’s a much higher efficiency system than what was originally installed. All of the modifications were fully explained to us and our technician, Tim, fabricated all of those modifications seamlessly, and the end result is a system that looks and works like it was designed to be in our house. Plus, the modifications were included in the quoted price for installation. Our house was left clean and free from debris. Everyone from Daniel’s has been professional, courteous and made us feel at ease. We highly recommend Daniel’s Plumbing, Heating and AC!

Marcos arrive promptly to service our swamp cooler for summer and replace the flushing mechanisms of 3 toilets in our newly-purchased house.

When one of the toilets was still running the next day, Marcos returned late in the afternoon and got it fixed for us.

Hello, I am the Operations Manager for Southwest Labs and Barney came out to service our water heater. He got our water heater working in no time, was very professional, and quoted us on another project before he even left the building. Excellent service/fair price/ and very timely.

Recently had service done to my home. Jacob's level of professionalism and knowledge was tremendous. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Had small home with propane heater and swamp cooler to upgrade. Daniels recommended a ductless heat pump. Their detailed bid was 20% under two other bids. Their service was first rate, thorough, friendly and prompt. Work was done in 6 hours, including running a 208V service line. The house was cooled and the unit running at low speed in less than an hour. The unit is so quiet it's hard to tell it is operating. Ted (sales rep) and Techs Carlos and Robert did an outstanding job!

I don't think I could have had a better experience than what I just had with Daniel's. It started with Ted explaining the different options I had for my home, no pressure just the facts. I wanted to convert my swamp cooler over to refrigerated air and also replace my heater as well, I made my decision on what units I wanted. Ted scheduled when the work would begin, in the mean time they offered to come and temporarily get my swamp cooler up and running until the conversion would begin. This was done at no charge to me, The work started with Jeremiah and Dallas showing up to get started, both of them were polite and informative as the work progressed, It only took 2 days for the conversion to take place, while they were doing that part of the job Arliss was busy cleaning all of the ductwork, Another Tech, Tanner came to assist with install and even the owner Daniel came by to help also, This work was being done in June when the temps were in the hundreds, All in all I received a better system for a better price than was quoted by a competitor and i couldn't have had a better experience. Once again, I would highly recommend Daniel's to anyone for any type of HVAC service.

We just had a mini split system installed and are extremely happy with the results. From the beginning in working with Brian to get us an estimate that was the best we got, and him providing everything in writing that we asked for, we appreciated his responsiveness.

The sales rep (Robbie Westby) called several times to ensure I was happy with the process. The office staff helped me with the financing and assisted in obtaining the best program for my budget.

The service was great and the pricing was reasonable. We had to replace our whole air conditioning unit and the price they quoted us was reasonable and well below the competitors. Installers did a great job, especially under having it be such a hot day. They were dedicated and worked as quickly as they could, but they ensured the a/c was installed correctly and it's working wonderfully. The house is now cool and just in time for the July summer.

I called and made an appointment for a faucet repair and to have my toilet looked at to make sure it was not leaking, I had just bought my mobile home,I got no repairs but an inspection which I didn't ask for.the gentleman was very nice but I wasted 200.00 on nothing and still need my faucet repaired what a waste of money

Called Daniel's plumbing, heating and cooling in the morning, they had a last minute cancelation and scheduled me for 2 hours later. Charles Baca showed up on schedule, he was extremely professional and it was apparent how knowledgeable he was with gas fireplaces and knew exactly what was wrong. He explained everything he was doing and went above and beyond fixing and cleaning our fire place. Will use Daniel's in the future for any other repairs needed, thank you.

It's been over year, so time for a review. I had a swamp cooler conversion done installing a two-stage high efficiency AC/Furnace system. Over-all my dealings with the company were good. System was installed the middle of summer and the AC has now worked great for a summer and a half. I did have an issue with the furnace the first time I tried to light it. As I recall they didn't bleed the air out of the gas line.

A follow-up review at 2+ years. The true test is how everything works after a few years. Well, my furnace failed. It kept short cycling, and took forever to heat up the house. I called Daniel's, and they sent somebody out. Took them over a day to figure out the problem, but they did. I did need to pay for a service call, but the parts were under warranty.

I had American Flame AF-4000 fireplace controls replaced by Daniels H&A. The controller failed after less than 60 days during the summer when they were only used for demonstration purposes. Daniels did not assist in solving this problem in any way what so ever...beware.

Very satisfied with the customer service and quality of work Barney provided. Was able to address all my concerns and worked quickly and efficiently to fix my damaged garbage disposal and replace my leaky faucet. This is the first time I have needed someone to come out to help me, I called at 9.30am and Charles was hear at 11.00am. I didn't think anyone would come out till after Christmas (12/23/2019) Charles is friendly knowledgeable and the price was so great I will be only calling Daniels in future. If you need work done I highly recommend Daniels Heating Pluming and Air absolutely out standing.

Had they leak underneath the concrete. When I called they were able to come out In the next day. We paid the $65 evaluation fee that was supposed to go towards the final payment to fix the leak. They came out the next day to fix the leak they then had to leave to go get something they need it for it then when we were charged they didn't take off the $65 then when I called I spent about a month calling try and get them to refund the additional $65 they charged me and they still have not done that. The leak was 11/14/17. Updated 1/27/18

I was impressed with the quality of service with Daniel's. Charles went above and beyond in diagnosing an issue with our gas fireplace, explaining it to me, and walking through the options to fix it. He was courteous, knowledgeable and left where he was working spotless and better than it was before. Highly recommend.

Edit: I'm also updating this because we just used them to repair our air conditioner which was running but not cooling. Again service was excellent and I truly feel like this is a trustworthy company that has knowledgeable, courteous people in our experience.

Charles was the tech that came to service our fireplace and he was AWESOME! The service he provided was above and beyond. He was early to our appointment, took his time to fix our fireplace, and communicated to us what was wrong. The repair was reasonably priced and cheaper than a competitor’s quote. We will be using Daniel’s Plumbing & Heating as future needs arise and we’ll be requesting Charles for our tech. Great job!

Called Daniel’s when my 18 year old furnace stopped working. Service tech came out, made some adjustments, got it working and recommended I replace the induction motor and vacuum switch. The next morning, I discovered it stopped working again. Called Daniel’s back and they were able to fit in a consultation within a few hours. Robbie came out, assessed the situation, answered all of my questions and did not try to oversell me. The estimate was fair and Robbie was able to arrange installation within a few hours.
Jacob and Josh showed up to install my new furnace - they were courteous and professional and were able to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot a couple of installation issues. Added bonus: they have a great working relationship and provided me some much needed laughs. Of course waking up in a warm house this morning was hugely appreciated.
I will definitely use Daniel’s for my future mechanical and plumbing needs and can’t recommend them enough. Thanks again to Robbie, Jacob and Josh!

Be very careful when you call this guys out for a repair. Get a second option or even third option. It could be a simply duel run capacitor that’s out on your A/C. This company will lie to you to sell you a new system. I’m sérios beware. The owners and managers are theirs and have no morals or integrity.

The technician, Charles B., did a great job. He called to let us know when he would arrive. Charles talked us through the steps he would take to complete the routine maintenance on our AC unit. He was very helpful and thorough. We definitely recommend Daniels Heating and AC!

Isreal is amazing! I had TWO potentially major pluming clogs; one in my sewer and another in my air conditioning! Isreal fixed BOTH major issues in 30 minutes! Cost me $235! Isreal saved me THOUSANDS! I will always use Daniels Plumbing!

Danielle's installed a brand new HVAC with issues. Three years later it broke. It took two weeks and phone calls to get them to and replace the warrantied parts while we were without heat. I would not recommend using this business.

Extremely pleased with the crew from Daniel’s! Robbie showed me multiple options and helped me decide on a system that was best for my house and Jeremiah & Pat installed everything so professionally and clean!! It’s only been a few days, but the new system is awesome so far. Pricing was competitive and workmanship was excellent. Can’t ask for more!!

During the time here in Albuquerque when temperatures were in the mid to high 90's every day, our evaporative cooler (aka swamp cooler) decided to take a time-out! I immediately contacted Daniels (it was late afternoon), and within 15 minutes, they had a technician (Randy) on his way! Randy very quickly diagnosed the issue and got us up and running in no time at all!! Maintaining social distancing (a must in these days of Covid-19), he showed me what the problem was, and spotted and addressed some potential issues that could prove troublesome in the future!

Randy is representative of the kind of service I've come to expect from Daniels, and they have yet to let me down! They are my go to company for everything in my house that is HVAC related! Get them, and you will not be disappointed.

After numerous issues with another company in Albuquerque area, we called Daniel's. Randy B. came out, was very knowledgeable, courteous and got us up and running in no time. Our units are only 3 years old, but its obvious that the last company was not doing a good job on our mastercools. We paid the other company a maintenance agreement but clearly they didn't maintain the units. I will be calling Daniel's Heating and Air from now on! Ask for Randy, you'll be glad you did!!
