Our technician was very professional, and even explained how to read one of the sensors on our furnace so we can check basic problems on our own. He also fixed our apartment complex's boiler.

I called them needing my kitchen sink snaked (this happens at my house about every 2.5-3 years). She said they might be able to make it over in about an hour (which is great), and I asked for a call when they headed over. She called as I asked, and they were fast and efficient. Academy overcharges for their parts (gas valve-notice below at the other review)! Our heater is older but found another company (Simmons) with the same part that was reasonably priced. When I told the technician I would try to get the part on line, he put the 'old' part behind the panel unattached and hurried out the door....I ran and got him to take the part out behind the panel. Simmon's mentioned how unprofessional they were by just leaving it unattached. He didn't have enough time to reattach it and test the gas valve to see if it REALLY was the problem. Academy said we'd need a transformer too. The other guy tested it and it was fine. Simmon's staff were courteous, explained the problem by showing and troubleshooting. The heater is working VERY WELL!!! My elderly mom has used Academy in the past....by looking at the bills they took advantage. They lost us as customers!

I needed my gas stove hooked back up and TLC was able to come the same day I called! They arrived on time, did the job quickly - and more importantly - correctly - all with courtesy and professionalism.
