Frank and his team were excellent. In short, tried to fix problem myself and caused shower valve to spray water in walls and forced to turn water off. Frank came quickly within an hour and determined was small valve piece that needed to be replaced. He then drove to Watertown and back (Dorchester) to get piece (happened to be a rare unique brand), quickly installed and fixed my mess. Was very good, professional and super reasonable, will def use again! Thank you Frank!

We bought an older house this Summer, and, of course, soon discovered many things wrong with the chimney, plumbing, furnace, etc. We set about finding companies to deal with all of this and more.

After discovering a leak in our sewer line in the basement, we called a recommended plumber, who did not return three calls. We researched other plumbers, and found True Blue Plumbing. Their reviews were good, so I called. The great experience started when their office receptionist, Karen answered the phone, and was immediately responsive, helpful and reassuring. This excellent experience continued as plumber Mike arrived, looked at the problem. He needed to return with parts. He replaced the needed part, cleaned out the line and cleaned up the space before leaving, to look better than it had before. He also recommended a couple of additional things we could do in the future.

True Blue is a keeper company, and we are *very*grateful that we received no response from the first company we called! Thank you!

My water heater dumped on the weekend. Called around, only WHS was able to come out that day and put in a temporary until the parts stores opened. Then Joe and Pat came out and worked late the next weekend to get the job done right. Friendly guys, quality work, up to code. Respectful to our needs and attention to detail. Will request them again if I need other work done

This is by far the sleaziest operation in town. Came over to snake the drain, blew a hole in our pipes and then charged me 1200$ To fix his mistake as water poured through the floors into the basement. Put me in a situation where I had no choice but to agree to this price. What a JOKE! Avoid them at all costs, many many other options out there.

Sam is the absolute best! I've been using him for over 10 years. I was lucky to find him. He is not only friendly and efffiicent but he has the best response time and always picks up his phone. I've come to totally rely on him for my needs. Just recently I was having issues with my washer and I called him. He was on vacation and still picked up my call to let me know that he did not fly back till Sunday night. Come Monday morning at 8am he was at my door. He is so trust worthy and his rates are reassonable for the time and effort he puts into all the projects I've had for him over the years. He tries his best to fix something before he has to replace it and always tells you what he is doing. If you are looking for a new plumber, search no more!

We were not getting heat in a back bedroom. Tom came out and found out the previous folks must have had kid(s) who threw down all sorts of stuff down the ductwork. He cleaned our furnace and fixed our problem with a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Boston Standard is the best and most professional HVAC contractor among the many mediocre service providers I have used. They respond and arrive extremely promptly. Boston Standard offers expert advice and thorough diagnosis of the problems. They provide accurate estimates. The installations, repairs, and investigations are completed in the timeframe they promise or sometimes in less time. Boston Standard always cleans up the work area very well. They also follow Covid protocols and wear those booties over their shoes whenever working inside. I live in an area where traffic is busy and parking is tight. However, their technicians never complain about parking or ask me to save one for them (although I try). I highly recommend Boston Standard for HVAC installation, repairs, and diagnosis. After being so disappointed with so many other contractors I won’t consider using anyone else. Their team will take great care of you whether it is the courteous people answering the phone, the great technicians like Wilfred and Tim, or the managers like Joseph or Mike.
