I had Velocity Plumbing come service my Baxi boiler. They were very responsive and it was easy to schedule an appointment with them. The service was thorough and done in a timely manner. They seemed knowledgeable as well. Would highly recommend!

Tom and his crew responded immediately to repair two toilets, install a garbage disposal and two other smaller repairs. Mark and Joe were pleasant, honest and efficient. Velocity Plumbing came through for me when I was dealing with a huge plumbing emergency!! As a Do it Yourself Guy, I though fixing my kitchen sink would be easy, I was wrong! Now what started as a small leak tuned into running water, turns out my valves needed to be replaced.
At the time, I was five days from leaving town for a two week vacation.

My old plumber temporarily fix the faucet but needed to come back to fix the valves which was still running water. Long story story short, my old plumber knowing my travel plans never called returned my calls or came back. I ended up going on vacation with running water! When I returned, I saw the Velocity Plumbing van around town. I made the call and over a period of two visit they fixed my valves and replaced my old faucet plus sink. They did a great job for a reasonable price and I was very impressed by their professionalism. Most of all I love my new sink! Thanks Velocity

Velocity Plumbing and Heating is the bee’s knee. Our water heater went on the blink and the search to replace it began. I researched all the usual local suspects; then my visiting friend found Velocity. I was impressed by the mission statement on its website and its high score on a business rating site. My gut said to go with them. I was not disappointed.

Tom Pecoraro, the owner, immediately responded to my email and was very easy to work with. He sent two apprentices out the next day who did a seamless and great job taking out the old and putting in the new. They answered all my questions with knowledge of their trade and left no detritus in their wake. Tom came by later to check that everything was okay and even checked all the faucets, both downstairs and upstairs.

To top off this good experience, I was pleasantly surprised that Velocity offered a senior discount on their already very reasonable charge. I was so happy to see young people entering the field and being so passionate and diligent about their work. I would not hesitate to engage their services again.

Tom and his crew helped me in a real time crunch to get a home connected to town sewer before it's sales closing. Thank you!

Tom was great to work with! He had a fast response time to all of our conversations. We had a hot water heater replaced (he also took out a our cement lined hot water heater out that other plumbers were scared to touch). We also had a gas line installed for a new stove. My husband and I were very impressed with all of their work and would love to work with them on other projects on the future.

We had some shaky pipes that needed to be secured and Tom and Joe were amazing. Very professional and their work is solid. When we initially called Velocity plumbing about the issue -they asked us to send a video to see if it needed fixing even without a in person eval, which I thought was an honest assessment. We have used them twice so far and will stick with these guys for any plumbing issues.

I have recently had Velocity Plumbing over to unclog a pipe. The team goes above and beyond on every occasion and goes way out of their way to make the job a success. I will continue to use the Velocity team in my future plumbing needs and continue to recommend them.

If I could give Velocity plumbing 6 stars, I would. He has come to my home 3 times now for different issues (including one big job replacing the upstairs bathroom drains and taking out the old cast iron) He's quick, straight-forward, friendly, and very reasonable.

The two folks that I spoke to at Velocity were very kind and extremely responsive. Dimitri who did the intake was kind and helped me set expectations. Cesar, who actually performed the work is kind and professional. He called me in advance wanting more information on the job so he could ensure that he had the tools/ parts to perform the job quickly. While on site he remained very professional and helped me understand exactly what was being done, he even noticed how slow the sink drain was going so he took a peek to see if needed work while we were waiting for the building's water to be turned back on. I'd definitely recommend Velocity from this one experience; will definitely be calling them again if I ever need more plumbing work done.

Tommy and Joe were both very professional and courteous. They were respectful of our home and they provided me with options every time there was an issue with our appliances or location of pipe (we have an older home that had been previously renovated poorly)

I hired Tommy to replace outdated plumbing in a new home that I purchased. The home was built in the 1950's and had several problematic cast iron pipes throughout that were beginning to leak. Tommy and his apprentice Brendan replaced all of these problematic pipes in our kitchen. They were meticulous and had tremendous attention to detail. They also worked very efficiently and the job was completed much sooner than I had originally anticipated. The price was fair and the work was high quality. I would definitely hire Tommy again and highly recommend Velocity plumbing.

Tom is one of most the skilled and effective contractors I have ever worked with. (I am an architect and licensed builder with twenty plus years of experience.) I have worked with Tom for the past two years and his company has expertly completed several very complicated jobs. The work included providing water lines, drainage lines and gas lines to locations that did not have these lines. Each required identifying complicated routes running through finished, occupied, space. His company has responded to service calls for bathrooms, heating systems and sprinkler systems. His service calls are timely and he is very good at trouble shooting and solving problems. Tom is a very direct communicator and easy to work with. He is very knowledgeable and will say he has to research something if he is not 100% sure of the answer. Velocity Plumbing and Heating is one of a few few contractors that I can say with certainty will always aim to provide the best possible job, at competitive rates.

I hired Tom through a separate service, Jiffy. I asked him to unclog 4 sink drains, fix a leaky sink handle, fix a leaky faucet, and fix a slow-filling toilet. He did not come himself but sent an apprentice with another, even more junior helper. Mark and Jack were very nice and did decent quality work, but they were very slow.

2 hours in to the job, Jack had unclogged 1 sink and together they had replaced the faulty toilet flow valve. An hour later they had replaced a cartridge in my sink handle. I sent them away after that despite not finishing all the work because I was afraid of being overcharged.

I thought I was being over cautious because I asked Mark to call Tom directly and make sure I wasn’t being charged by time, but instead by the job. Mark said, “oh yeah, cuz I know what this looks like. It seems like we are dragging this out to charge more. Don’t worry. This isn’t by time. I’ll call Tom and make sure and I’ll talk him out of it if he was planning on that. Mark told me it was all set.

Then the next day I get a bill for $315 (2.5 hrs labor) for what I could have done myself in half that time. I’m not a plumber but have done both of these jobs before by watching YouTube videos. (I was just trying to multi-task and be lazy by hiring someone.)

Tom has been great at responding to my communications but does not see any problem in the above. He even said an appropriate charge (if hired outside of the Jiffy app) would have been $600-700. If true, that is egregious.

I would never hire him again.

I've used Velocity Plumbing in the past and would definitely recommend them to anyone because they're very professional, polite, courteous, their work is well done and they don't leave the place a mess. I hired Tom and his team to install a half bathroom in my basement, add some heating and move my laundry to it’s own separate room.
