I had an emergency backup of sewage in my basement on Saturday night. They were the only company open and willing to come out on short notice to clear out the blockage in my drain.

I had them out Sunday afternoon and they absolutely crushed it! They arrived on time and knocked it out with a level of professionalism their competitors just don’t possess. They ran me down the entire process, so that it was easy to understand, and they were in and out in less than an hour. Not to mention they didn’t make a huge mess, and they even cleaned up before they left!

Full service for a comparable price to other companies that don’t care nearly as much. From the phone call to the owner, to the two techs Christian and Roger that came out to perform the fix, a positive experience overall. Would highly recommend 10/10!

Great company! Called after having to let Melton Plumbing go because of their rudeness, no shows, and lies after 7 days with no hot water. Called A.S.A.P to see if I could schedule an appointment (very pleasant receptionist). Said they could get me in the same day. Hunter and Eric were out within 45min and replaced my water heater with 2 hours. Very polite, respectful, and explained everything. Would absolutely recommend them and will use them for any future plumbing needs.

Good people just prices are extremely high for a repair when all pipe was already exposed they still charged me 2 times on estimate for same thing just worded differently. Check your estimate before you sign it..

I used this company once five years ago on an emergency AC repair that turned out to be a faulty breaker. The tech was very nice and just charged me the standard call out, not the emergency rate.

I brought them in again a month ago to repair my boiler that was not acting well. Long story short, the tech had some concerns and started moving me towards a complete replacement. The concern was a controller was bad and it was no longer produced. The total replacement cost was a hair under $20K, and that was after I spent $1,000 to mitigate asbestos in the vicinity of the boiler in anticipation.

There were also concerns related to how the boiler was venting, but I'm confident that was not a real issue and just an error on the part of the tech. There was a significant amount of smoke when we first fired the boiler up after the first repair attempt, that made him think the boiler was faulty. I think it was just dust and debris burning off at the beginning that accumulated during the repair. I've been running the boiler for over a month with a smoke and CO detector above it with zero issue. This was another issue that made them think whole replacement would be the way to go, and this was an error.

Being a bit shell shocked by the quote, I googled the part number on the front of this controller and the first link was a replacement controller from Honeywell for $150 off Amazon. I bought it and it shipped to me in a week. I changed it out, and all is functioning perfectly.

The service/repair that was performed was very high quality, and I was pleased with that. They are also very prompt. On top of that, they are one of the few companies who work on residential steam boilers. That said, I don't think enough effort was put into sourcing another part to repair the existing boiler and they rushed to tossing the baby out with the bath water. I chalk it up to an honest mistake, but it's worth being aware of.

I'll certainly be bringing them back for future work, but with a cautious stance.

I had a plumbing issue to where my basement sink was filling up with water and food particles as well as when I ran my washing machine the water was splashing out of the PVC pipe and into the floor. I called them today around 8am and they were here by 10am. They fixed the issues within 20 mins and Jacob took the time to explain things to me and what I could do to help maintain healthier drains. Very kind, knowledgeable, and professional! I would recommend this company to anybody! Very reasonable prices too I had to pay $60 less than what I was quoted over the phone! I called the Petrie Plumbing phone number on 2/4/17 to get an estimate on making repairs at my Aunt's house. The lady answering the phone stated that a representative of Petrie Plumbing would give me a call to set up an appointment. A (so-called) representative of Petrie Plumbing called and said they would be out to look at the plumbing issues sometime between 12-4 pm. Nobody showed up between 12-4 pm. I called the Petrie Plumbing phone number at 4:20 pm and the plumber said they wouldn't be able to keep the appointment so, we arranged an appointment for Sunday morning 2/5/17 at 10 am. The plumbers showed up after 10 am and we soon determined that they were not from Petrie Plumbing and that they were subcontractors. At no point in time did Petire Plumbing notify us that we would be dealing with sub-contractors nor did they notify us that they work being performed by the subcontractors would not be warranted. The subcontractor plumbers provided an estimate of $200 plus parts (approx. $50) to fix the plumbing issues and left before 11 am. The plumbers said they needed to go get parts and would be back shortly. Two hours later the plumbers returned to start repairs. After talking with them, we found out that they went to another job and made repairs to the other job before returning. The plumbers made a proper repair to one of the copper water lines supplying a bathroom sink by cutting the sink line and then installing a new copper sink line, soldering the joints, and installing a valve joint. However, on the other copper sink line, the plumbers attempted to fix the line using a short-term alternative method that ended up failing causing a major leak in the bathroom and the adjoining Kitchen. The flooring had to be removed and a different plumber was hired to make the proper changes to the one copper sink line providing water to the bathroom sink. When my sister contacted Petrie Plumbing to make them aware of the everything, their response was that they subcontract work out on the weekends and since they do not actually perform the work they said they would not guarantee any work performed by subcontractors. The subcontractor plumbers ended up charging $250 for the repair plus $50 for parts that cost less then $10. Having hired many plumbers over the years flipping 8+ houses and building four brand new houses, the subcontractor plumbers were very unprofessional, their repairs were substandard, thy overcharged on both labor and parts based upon their limited time on the jobsite and considering that they only performed one of the two repairs for which they were hired. In summary, I would NOT recommend them to anyone. As for Petrie Plumbing, based upon their use of subcontractors on weekends and their failure to notify unsuspecting callers that they use subcontractors on weekends, I would not recommend them since they do not warranty the work of the subcontractors nor are they willing to work with customers who are duped into thinking they are hiring actual employees from Petrie Plumbing.

Called these guys up on the week of thanksgiving with a simple kitchen sink clog (not ideal for Thanksgiving week!), and they were at our house within 2 hours, had the clog cleared in no time, and were extremely pleasant to work with. Great job Noah and Isiah!

Had Rob the owner out to investigate a gas leak. He did fix an old connection behind the stove. Failed to check out the crawl space and when I called him back said he could come back the following Monday. Never showed up and then I called back to check up. Then again gave a day he would come back and despite me calling him 2 times to confirm never showed up. Lied directly to me on the phone that he was coming. Spend the money and go with another plumber.
