Who ever is reading this and you need plumbing service you dont need to call anyone else. This company and their staff are the most caring and professional I have ever used. They worked with my schedule, put up with my very protective dog and remembered his name. Dan kept me calm which wasn't easy since it was a very extensive and expensive job. I also want to mention Jose, Victor and Eddie. All 4 of them were my guardian angels throughout the entire ordeal and I thank them from the botrom of my heart for all they did. Great Company

We called, they came out the next day, looked at our hot water heater. We set up an appointment for them to come back and install it. Less then 2 days after they came out and installed the new tank. Even unclogged our drains. All in a week. Very fast and efficient. Would highly recommend.

We had a steel pipe that had rusted completely shut from the inside, I called in the morning and someone came out same day. I have had bad luck with service people treating me like I don't know what I'm talking about because I'm a woman, but this was not the case today! Tony was prompt, respectful, informative and so very efficient. He explained exactly what was going on, and exactly what he was going to do to fix it. It was so nice to have someone come out same day and get the job done without any problems. I'm glad I called this company over another, and especially glad Tony was the one to provide services at our house.
They never came at the estimated time they gave us. They were constantly hours late with no phone calls to inform us they would be running late. We had to constantly look for them and call. Basically, we were held hostage waiting around on them for an entire week. The actual work seems to be good, but the lack of professionalism and not being punctual is a major turn off. Also, being told by one worker that we would pay the lower end of the estimate when they asked for half down on the job and being charged the entirety of the estimate wasn't a good feeling either.
Sam did a fantastic job. My basement drain got clogged from the 2 straight days of rain and flooded out. He showed up when he said he would and quickly worked his way through the problem. This efficiency allowed us to get the basement cleared out significantly quicker. He has very good prices and does exceptional work. I would recommend him to anyone and will call him for any other plumbing needs.

$125.00 service charge to come out and diagnose. The service charge was not discussed in the original call.
Edit to add response to owner: I understand that to DIAGNOSE is work performed, but like I said, I called around, and other companies were upfront with the amount of the service charge. If I had known it was $125, I would have went with a different company. A month later, I resolved the issue with a different company. Your technicians misdiagnosed the problem. Technicians from the other company really spent time trying to figure out the issue. It's frustrating to pay $125 for a diagnosis that wasn't anywhere near the problem.

If I could give 10 stars I would! And let me start by saying this review is long overdue! Last August (2019) I made a call to Sam after much research through many different avenues. I had a very unique situation. I was making a phone call from Atlanta, GA to a plumbing company in Toledo to diagnose an issue at my 84 yr old Father’s home in Toledo, OH. But the catch was, that my Dad did not even know yet. I needed to make sure I could find the perfect fit-person wise. So once I felt confident in the company I now needed to talk to the person behind it. I was going to be traveling to Toledo to help my dad with some things after my mom passed and we were going to be there for a week one of the main things I wanted to tackle was this leak that we had had about 20 years prior that my dad covered up in the ceiling with paper. It became the family joke. But as each of my siblings attempted to remedy the situation my Dad would push back and we came to the conclusion it was a combination of embarrassment and just being a stubborn Irishman who finds fault in everything that he does not do himself. But we needed to know the severity of what we were dealing with.
So I called this company and Sam picked up. I started out explaining where I lived and the issue I needed help with-which I wasn’t even completely sure what it was and how extensive it was since it had been so many years ago and spanned over several years to the point that that bathroom was no longer being used. Not quite a job someone wants to jump at. Not to mention I wanted him to understand how to handle my 84-year-old dad and his particulars. I needed somebody that could make an appointment and be there exactly at that time. I know sometimes plumbers get caught up at jobs and I didn’t want that to scare my dad off. I explained a little bit of my dad‘s personality to him and the best way to approach the situation to investigate. He was very understanding and was not scared off from all of my requests and explanations. I told him I could be there on the Alexa Show to be apart of the appointment. I wanted his eyes on it before I flew in so that if any work needed to be done it could happen when I was there.
So the appointment day came and I dialed in. I was sure he would find a leak in the pipes. But that was not the case. He ran all of the scenarios and it turned out to be that little barrier that was attached to the bathtub and the wall allowed water to get behind it and over the years the water was able to go straight down into the kitchen. He suggested that the inside frame get professionally cleaned by a mold expert, but after that we could replace the damaged drywall/subfloor and the damage it caused in the ceiling below. He had a fix for future use of the tub once all of those things were addressed and we were ready to use that bathroom again.
He was extremely patient with my father. And I know my father really well, I could tell he really liked him and he trusted him. I almost wished we could have given him the job because we felt if it were in his hands it would be done right. So my father paid him his service fee (if I remember correctly), and he passed along to us someone’s name to do the mold clean-up. I appreciate when someone in this kind of trade can come in and be honest and respectful and not try and tell you a bunch of things that need to be addressed when they don’t. Especially when it comes to the older generation. So don’t hesitate to call Sam, I fell like his honesty, professional communication, and knowledge in his trade would be the same across any age generation!!

Sewage backing up in the basement. Call Rooter right they told me Abby a few hours until they can come out. Macomb about three hours later and said they were on their way took care of the problem. Great response and great service.

Sam did an amazing job! We had an urgent situation at the house we’ve only owned for two weeks.He came out to assess our situation within 8hrs of our call and had to spend two days fixing the leaking sewer pipe of our 120yr old home. He tried very hard to only cut holes where he absolutely had to and is always very meticulous about his work and cleaning up after. I will continue to use his services in the future and highly recommend him.

My husband and I called this company for some sink repairs and because our hardware was so outdated we ended up having to get them replaced. Not only did Montana and Jake pick us out new sinks and replace them the same day, but they also fixed the drain plugs and the line for our hose spigot, which we also needed repairs, in preparation for winter and did not charge us extra. They were kind and professional and I will definitely call them again for our future plumbing needs!
Good people just prices are extremely high for a repair when all pipe was already exposed they still charged me 2 times on estimate for same thing just worded differently. Check your estimate before you sign it..
I would not recommend this business to anyone and would give it zero stars if I could. They charged us nearly $500 to fix a gas leak but the work failed inspection from the gas company. The owner agreed to refund us a good portion of the bill but he never sent us our refund check. My husband called several times to get to the bottom of it and the owner always had an excuse until he finally stopped taking our calls altogether. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and are currently awaiting a resolution. Don’t become a victim like we did!

What a joke of a business!! I would rate 0 stars, if I could! Talked to them on a Saturday and said he would be out Tuesday to service our hot water heater (that was not working). Never heard from them on Tuesday. Didn’t even have the decency to answer the phone when I called 3 different times on Tuesday. Not sure how you are still in business, but you certainly shouldn’t be with running a “business” like that.

Would give 0 stars if possible. They charged me $460 to fix gas leaks but they did not fix them fully and the “repair” failed the check by the gas company. After repeated attempts for them to come back and complete the work properly I just called another company. The owner said he’d refund my money but it’s been over 6 weeks and multiple texts and calls with no refund in my hand. The last time I called the owner to ask about the refund a shouting match ensued. I told him I’d get my lawyer involved if necessary and he said he knew that was a joke and would go nowhere. I would highly advise against using this company. Shoddy work and about as unprofessional as humanly possible. I used Alternative Plumbing to finish my job and they were great.

The water heater in my home had seen it's better days. I researched local plumbing companies looking for good reviews as I knew it was time for a replacement and I was hoping to have it taken care of as soon as possible, and by someone who was fair on price. Rooter Right Plumbing exceeded my expectations!! The gentleman who took care of this matter was polite and professional. He was able to get the job done in a timely manner and without any qualms (I had a light in the basement go out which could have made the job more difficult and inconvenient, but the gentleman was very confident that he could proceed in this condition). Conner fixed an ongoing leak issue in my bathroom yesterday. He found the issue, which took time, and fixed the leak, installed my toilet, and finished connecting the pipes to my garbage disposal. The previous plumber I used (different company) did a half job and left me in the lurch. I have contracted Conner to do another toilet install and he is installing a new sink and disposal in another of my rentals.

I hadRooter Right come out due to a total blockage in my main sewer line. Cody and Miles were professional and knowledgeable. They explained everything to me up front and had a great price. Most importantly they were clean and when they left, it was hard to tell they were even there. Even after installing a clean out.
Miles was super nice, and fun to talk with!! Went above and beyond to make sure everything was working, clean, and fixed up for me!! My shut-off valve is fixed, and my faucet doesn’t drip! Absolutely outstanding couldn’t have asked for a nicer plumber!

Had a water leak- laundry room floor was soaked. Called at 11:00 pm and they were out by 11:00 am the next morning. Myles was wonderful. Very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend them. Had to call again for the third time- no fault to them. Miles(sorry for earlier incorrect spelling) came out again as we request him and again he was wonderful. Great company and would highly recommend Miles to anyone who needed plumbing. Very friendly and great person. Rooter right is lucky to have a employee like him. I called this company back in September this year and they helped me with me clogged main drain in my house. Super nice team. Stuck around even though we had some troubles shutting off the gas line. Knows what they’re talking about. Gas is one of those things I’m not comfortable screwing around with and Miles made everything seamless. A+ and would recommend all day long.

First I want to say that I got this company information from The Bedford Press, my local community paper and decided to give them a try. I just had a service call from Rooter Right, a plumber by the name of Miles made repairs for me that I had requested. He was so respectful of me and my home. He showed me and explained the repairs that he had done and why he did them. I would highly recommend this company. Keep up your good work Miles! He left my bathroom as clean as he found it! ROOTER IS JUST TRYING TO GET TAKE YOUR MONEY and what gets me is, Gary and his team straight up lied to our face about the problem we had when the guys seem so genuine and caring. THANK GOD I LISTENED TO MY GUT AND GOT A 2nd QUOTE!!To make a long story short, mr. Rooter quoted us 4000$ for this “huge project “. All we needed was our septic tank emptied!!! My hubby and I are 1st time home owners so we don’t know a ton about plumbing and put our trust in them. Gary also said straight to my face, “ya no most plumbers will just try to take your money without fixing the problem so I’m glad our company is doing the work.” Yeah, okay Gary…🖕
I was very pleased with the experience that I had. I called on a Sunday and within 2 hrs the plumber Cody was out and took care of the problem quickly. He was very honest and professional. I would highly recommend Rooter Right Plumbing and Drain.

Nate and Myles came out to my house within 24 hours of me calling in and got a baby washcloth out of my tub drain that had travelled 10 feet down into the wall! They were extremely professional, called 40 minutes ahead of time, let me know what time they'd arrive and who would arrive, and completed the service within 15 minutes all while my daughter was napping in the room right next to the bathroom without waking her up! I will definitely call again with any future issues, I cannot recommend them Rooter Right enough. Extremely happy with my service!

This is the second time that we have used Rooter right plumbing and drain and we could not be more pleased with the services that have been rendered to us. Both times the plumber with very professional, polite and were born and raised in the local area. These qualities made it feel like that cared about my home and me and my family as they had a vested interest in making their community better. We would not use any other service after how well we have been repeatedly treated.

I had called two other rooter companies before I got in touch with Cody and Tony from Rooter Right. They were professional and extremely courteous and knowledgeable. The other plumber I hired from a different company told me he could not do the job until Monday so I fired him and hired Tony and Cody who were absolutely amazing and fixed my clogged drain which required a new pipe to be installed. This is by far the best service and I am so glad that I called. TONY AND CODY ROCKED!

Need help fixing mybath tub faucet called rooter right . They took care of problem quick! Service man was great.
When my basement flooded last week the guys at Rooter Right came out within an hour to switch my sump pump out. Very quick and professional service. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The only positive in my experience was that Miles was very kind. However, I truly believe I was billed hundreds of dollars in excess for the work performed and am beyond frustrated that after numerous calls, I can’t be provided with an itemized receipt.
Prior to making the decision to go with Rooter Right I shopped around for what it would cost to replace two dielectrics on my water heater and every single place quoted around $150 for parts and labor (1 hour). My inspector even told me if I pay more than $200 for this job, I’m paying too much.
Imagine my disbelief when I was hit with a $500+ bill because one of the dielectrics was hard to loosen. How can it be that a single, troublesome pipe cost me over $300? I was told I was charged as soon as Miles left the shop to get parts at 9:00am (he arrived at 10:30). Miles also sat in my driveway talking to his supervisor for over 30 minutes after the job (before I even received the bill). I imagine I was charged for that too. He ended up leaving after 1:30pm. Something just doesn’t add up, hence my request for the cost breakdown.
I was told I would be emailed an itemized breakdown of the charges within the next day. I counted 6 times I called back over the following 3 weeks to get that itemized bill and each time I was told they’re busy but I’d get it the next day, in 2 days, next Monday, etc… They even acknowledged (un-apologetically) during my last two calls that they didn’t have a reason for not getting back to me. It’s now been a month and I still haven’t received that cost breakdown.
At this point just keep our money because it’s just not worth the stress and frustration and given this experience I doubt there’s any room for compromise anyway.

I knew I had a main drain clog. I called two other places before calling Roto Rooter. I was told no one could help until the day after Thanksgiving. I had been calling places three days before Thanksgiving. I took a chance and called Roto Rooter. Ellen answered the phone and shared she could send someone out right away. Thank you Ellen!! Chance was at our house within the hour. He was friendly and professional. He was knowledgeable. He took the time to explain things and the quote was reasonable. Thank you Chance!! Great job!! The plumber came to my home he unclogged my sewers he left my basement a hugh mess he failed to tell us that the drain plug was stripped now theres sewer water leaking from the drain we called to complain of course he is the owner and theres nothing he can do about it wont come fix the problem and he charged us $200 to do thr work and didn't even have cleaning supplies we had to keep our pets locked up while we went to the store and cleaned the mess if i could give 0 stars i would! totally dissatisfied and definitely not recommending him to my friends!

The technician arrived within one hour of my phone call on a weekend day when most places were closed. Took care of my issue quickly ( clogged kitchen sink) and was very professional. Very happy with the results and will recommend to family and friends.

He went over different cost that could arise with the work being done and happily answered any questions I had. The work was done efficiently. Sam and Connor installed a 6 cleanout on our sanitary sewer main. They did an excellent job and cleaned our yard well once finished. The job had a few issues at the beginning, but they worked through them, stuck with it, and wrapped up all the work before finishing for the day. They were both pleasant and explained all the work they were doing to our satisfaction. We will definitely be return customers so we can keep our sewer main clear and functioning well!

We called on Friday afternoon and made an appointment. We were told that they would arrive between 12:00pm-4:00pm on Saturday. We accepted that appointment. We received a call at 8:00am on Saturday morning that stated that we could be moved up to 9:00am. We were told our driver would arrive in 45 minutes, but he never showed. We called an hour and a half later, he said, “I will be there in 17 minutes.” He never showed. I called once again and they informed us that our technicians van broke down and they do not know when they will arrive at our house. We understand that things come up with vehicles; it truly is the worst. The problem that we are having is that we were never once were given a heads up. We were never told that there were any issues. They have since told us that they will be here “some time today”.
Things happen and we understand, but I think we can all learn from this; we must communicate better.
The supervisor was notified and his comment was, “I thought you were made aware of the issues.”
There is a loop-hole somewhere in their lines of communication and maybe through this encounter, they can get it fixed so no one else ends up in this situation.
Had Montana and Landon here and they were exceptional in all areas of communication, work and repair! Very friendly and informative as well. Did a great job!

Don’t hire these people!
The owner stopped by and said the city needed to come by to shut off the water main outside the house. He told me to call him back when they were done. Another technician stopped by about 30 minutes later without me calling. The water department had not shown up at the time. The technician had plans that night and wanted to get started so he could be done in time. Then while he was working on something else the water department arrived and broke the valve and told me that they would have to send out another crew to dig up and replace the valve.
Router right stated that I pay a portion of the bill and that I would have to now pay an additional $70 because they would have to come back a third time. I felt that if the owner had stuck to the original plan and have someone come over when I called to tell them the water department had shut everything down from the outside that none of this would have happened because the technician wouldn’t have come to my house until everything was ready with the water department.
I shouldn’t be charged extra because a company constantly changes the rules We agreed on a price, the owner had second thoughts.
We agreed that I call him to come back and do the job he agreed to do after the water department shout off the water main, again the owner changed his mind.
After going back and forth and me being firm about paying the agreed amount rate, the owner agreed to keep it at the agreed upon rate if I paid a portion at that time and that he would come back to finish the job and I would pay the rest when the job was done.
Yet again the owner had second thoughts. He lied to me, with no hesitation.
He makes deals and breaks them.
He’s a dishonest business man.
Don’t hire him!!!!
They were very pleasant on the phone. I get a call few hrs later ahead of the promised time that he can come now. The guy was very nice however what I explained on the phone was not what they came to do. The wanted to offer me the same service a competitor already tried and didn’t work. I expressed that I wasn’t welling to pay for a service that we know won’t work, I was told that’s not how we do things and they packed their stuff and left. Correct me if I am wrong but if ur drain doesn’t drain and u know that method one won’t work will u try it again and pay again for it or try something different!!!

Called for a septic tank issue. Technician Miles came out. Poked around for a bit and told us to actually pump the sewage waste onto the yard so we could still use our water and then proceeded to tell us that our leech field needed to be replaced. Charged us $125 for absolutely doing or repairing nothing. Called another company for a second opinion, problem repaired in under 10 and didn't charge us to do it. I understand that not everyone is an expert at everything but I would have hoped for an honest answer and more common sense that he just didnt know what the problem was but telling us to pump raw sewage onto our yard where our kids and pets play is completely unacceptable.

Had a clogged tub and requested Rooter Right to “snake” the tub drain 4/7/23.They attempted to snake tub overflow and sink access, but due to pipe run having too many turns; the “snake” was not able to get to the clogged area. The plumber pretty much said that they would need to rip my ceiling out and replace pipes. They charged me $139 for a 15 minute poor attempt to fix the issue. The plumber told me they would call me to discuss options, but no one ever called me. Reached out to another company and the came out and told me that going through overflow of tub and sink would be a waste of time. The other company went to rear access area and “snaked” it and was able to unclog the tub. It took them about 45 minutes and they charged me less than Rooter Right who did not fix anything or make a real effort to fix the issue. Called Rooter Right and explained what was learned and they got nasty with me and pretty much said they would call me back because they are not sure why their tech did not try the rear access area. No call back. I called back again and was told that their tech did everything correctly. Terrible plumbing company and would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Extremely frustrated after a full day of waiting. I called them twice to come check out some problems we were having with our plumbing. The first time they were 2 and 1/2 hours past the 3 hour window they gave me. I am forgiving and I understand some times appointments run late, it happens. Called back after the weekend to reschedule. They finally made it after being about 2 hours late, all to come in very frustrated and rude. He was misinformed about what he was helping us with. He told us it would be over $500. All the to find out he didn't even diagnose the problem right. My husband who is not a plumber at all fixed it in 15 min after he left. We will not be using them for business again.
