Fox put in a tankless water heater for us and fixed a root intrusion in a drain pipe a few years ago, so we called them for a few minor items recently.William gave us fair estimates before completing the work, and even showed us some tricks to easily fix a few problems ourselves. The work was completed quickly, and clean up was thorough.We've had an intermittent leak that wasn't showing up while William was here, so he told us how to detect it should it show up again. A few days later we saw it once more, and William was at our house within an hour.Very responsive, great customer interaction, competent and complete service. They've earned our trust.

Accidentally broke the ceramic of our toilet during self-repair at the end of the weekend and needed to find a plumber fast! Called Beacon Plumbing a bit later in the evening and they answered - even offering to send someone out that day. Ended up pushing to the next day out of courtesy - it was good to know they have a 24-hour service just in case. Gato, our technician, came out to inspect the damages and replaced everything quickly and professionally. He also gave us tips on maintenance and made himself highly available to call in case we had questions or concerns throughout the whole process and after. No hidden fees, etc. Just a straight up company/job/technician. All around recommend this company for a quick and professional job. Also, thanks a bunch again, Gato!

I had a sewer clog. Wayne came out and unclogged it and then identified the root of the problem being in the city sewer pipe. He worked with the city to fix it. He was super helpful, responsive and can't say enough good things about him. As good as it gets.

I had used Jim Dandy with a different employer and was always happy. Called them in for a blocked line this past weekend in a commercial building. I wound up doing a lot of work pulling and replacing toilets (needlessly) because tech didn’t listen. They need to make sure their clothing is clean. I will use again, but a little disappointed in having someone who only had 4 years experience and was not well tooled or knowledgeable. Their power snake was awesome. It did the job when I told him a second time there was a reverse clean out in the main line. This was after he suggested that we might have to replace the ductile pipe. Jim Dandy, don’t let people who are still wet behind their ears make expensive suggestions.
Tevex coveralls are important. Listen to your customers so toilets or other fixture don’t have to be needlessly removed (especially when the snake wouldn’t go down the line line anyways). Don’t throw old wax seals on the floor.
The cost, $800, was a little too much for the amount of work I had to do and the level of knowledge displayed.

They did a whole house repipe, including new water line from street to house. Other than one unfortunate accident which they paid for they were very good. Lots and Lots of connection, and no leaks. Amazing how they got the pipes connected thru floors and walls.

Called Simon about a leak in our main water line. He was out in a few days, found the leak and was spot on! Great customer service and very dependable!!

These guys do a great job. In March just as the lockdowns starts we noticed water backing up in our basement utility sink. Raman showed up on a weekend and found the break in our sewer line. They had to dig down a ways and remove a retaining wall. They got it all fixed up and even put our retaining wall back up. Excellent work and safety precautions. We'll continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs.

Andy located my water line leak for me. He was super nice, professional, and honest. He even let me listen to through the headphones so I understood exactly what he was hearing and how he was detecting the leak location. He made helpful recommendations for how to proceed with my unusual repair. I would definitely recommend Akers for plumbing issues.

PJ and the team came to the rescue for me. My home ran into a serious plumbing issue, with a sewer line that needed to be replaced. Our whole household was in emergency mode — we couldn't take a shower, flush, or even wash our hands normally.

PJ and the team went well beyond the call of duty, working late into the night on a holiday weekend to get us operational again. They didn't have to do that — but I am so appreciative that they did!

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.

We were incredibly happy with them, they came out the same day within hours of calling, figured out what was wrong, they werent able to fix it completely since they didn’t have the part so they came back right away the next day and finished the job. Both of the young men were very professional and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them!
