Best Water Line Installation in Seattle WA

Today's issue was replacement of an old kitchen faucet that was leaking with a new Grohe I bought at Costco. While DIY installation looked simple online, I wanted to watch a professional do it first, have it done correctly, and not waste my whole day trying to do it. James McGee was our service technician and he was on time, professional, quick, showed and explained to me everything he was doing, and provided helpful tips. Thanks Fox and James!

From our first communication to the project finish, I was impressed. Tyler spent 1.5 hrs assessing the project and submitting his bid. The next day, Tyler and Tyler did the installation professionally, cleanly and in an informative manner. I am very happy to refer 2Sons.

We had a double hit weekend with our AC during the PNW heatwave. Ian and Justin were able to swing by first thing on saturday morning after a friday at 4p call. The water pump needed replacing and Ian was able to do some electrical magic to get it working, though they were slightly incompatible. Our newer townhouse also had the unit installed with the pump backwards, so Ian did the work to get that flipped over so it was installed right.Later that day a FUSE blew on the main condensation roof unit and Ian and Justin were able to swing back by and get that fuse replaced. It turns out the rooftop unit didn't have any external fuses, which would prevent the ones on the main circuitboard from frying (see note about the newer townhouse not having it installed properly). So I got to see Ian and Justin one more time on monday morning as they finished this work.It cost a bit, but I also have no comparisons from other AC repair companies, but it's done (and done right!).

Anthony has helped us out on many sewer inspections. He is reliable, smart, and very focused on customer service. He is our first call when we need a sewer scope for our clients.

We had a clogged bathtub and I called Pioneer because a friend of mine told me he used them with success. They were excellent. They did show up an hour late, but they called and told me this two hours prior so I could adjust. Things happen at sites, I get it, but they took the time and had the courtesy to call and tell me they were working on another clients problem still. That stood out to me because they wanted to take the time to fix an issue and still had the foresight to keep me in the loop. When they got to my place they were nice, efficient, and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes. For that they get 5 stars.

In time response and quick fix on the leaking pipe. But the hourly price is the way more expensive than any other service I have ever heard.

It took another company over a week to send a plumber out to the job. When that plumber got there, he said he needed to bring in a camera crew, and that would require waiting another week! All the while, I had to keep the apartment vacant because it wasn't rentable without the repairs. Jim Dandy came out the same day I called them, analyzed the problem, and put me on the schedule for two days (not two weeks) later. Very pleased with the work and the fast response. Proper plumbing is always hideously expensive, and that's true with Jim Dandy as well- but if you're going to pay a fat price to get something done the least you can expect is that it will be done quickly and correctly so you can get on with life. Very, very pleased with this company and the job they did.

Ryan and Blake replaced our hot water heater due to leaking and also because it had been in use for 21 years. They were very efficient and even had a great time talking with them while they replaced it!

I had my home repiped with pex by repipe masters in November of 2020, and have had no issues with the pipes in the year since. The price was fair and it only took a day for the repipe crew to complete the job for my home (1600 square feet). Nick (the owner) is very friendly and easy to schedule with. I recently had an issue with the main water valve that turned out to be user error, and Nick graciously helped out with that.

Not only on time, but a little early :) fixed the problem in under an hour, professional and absolutely knew what he was doing. Prices were reasonable, service was exceptional.

I can’t begin to say how happy I am we selected Akers to replace our main water line. We recently received a letter from the water company saying our water usage was abnormally high. We quickly determined there was a leak between our meter and house. After some research we called the five highest rated plumbing companies. Ryan from Akers came out the same day I called. I was immediately impressed with his professional demeanor and knowledge. His understanding of our existing plumbing turned out to be exactly what was there and the estimate was very reasonable and competitive. After receiving the rest of the quotes it was an easy decision to select Akers.

Traci coordinated the utility marking and validated that where I live doesn’t have permit and inspection requirements (I checked too and she was right!). Ryan and his crew showed up and dug right in. They dug down where crossing utilities were so they could avoid hitting them. The existing water line was just where Ryan thought with the connections also being what he thought. They found the source of the leak coming from a section under our driveway. Finding it and the location I am glad we decided on replacing the line. They quickly installed the new water line and restored our yard as much as the rain would allow. Best of all they didn’t need to break any concrete! They will be back in a couple weeks to finish up once the mud/soil has settled. In all, the job took 4 hours when I had expected 10+.

For price, quality and experience Akers can’t be beat. I would recommend them to anyone!

Came home to a busted water heater. I couldn't even locate the source of the leak because there was a torrential downpour in my garage. In a panic I called O'neill plumbing and Donna was extremely helpful and calmed me down. I sent her pictures and she was hopeful that the water heater didn't need to be replaced. She was able to confirm that they could send a plumber that night. James and Kyle arrived 3 hrs later and wore masks and shoe coverings. They quickly assessed the problem - my expansion tank failed. They were both nice and courteous while they were in my home and replaced the tank within 30 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost - less than $400. Such a good experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this company.

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.

Rick and Terri were great. Very prompt, and extremely efficient. Friendly and kind as well. Will definitely be calling Puget Sound Plumbing in the future whenever we have anymore issues!
