Best Water Heater Replacement in Seattle WA

We had a bit of an emergency when our sump pump failed in our basement and we had minor flooding.We called Fox plumbing who we had used two times before. The technician Bobby showed up at our doorstep 45 minutes after our call.Bobby had a new sump pump in the truck and all the spare parts needed to do the job and an hour later, we had our new sump pump installed and operational.Very friendly, personal and professional service.A happy customer.

Anthony and Gato came so quickly and were friendly, knowledgeable, and fixed my issue with such swiftness! So wonderful with stressful season to have no stress services!

This is the third plumbing company we’ve had out to our house since we bought it last Sept, and we finally have a winner! Pioneer was originally recommended by our real estate agent, but when our hot water tank failed eight days after we bought the house, Pioneer couldn’t come out for over a week. Since we obviously couldn’t go that long without hot water, we went with another company that could do the work in a couple days. While we now have an on-demand system, it was installed improperly and had to be fixed again – yikes. So when we had a subsequent pressure problem, we called a different company. The problem was resolved, but the plumber was very salesman-y for some additional work. When our disposal stopped working, I decided it wasn’t urgent and I’d wait for Pioneer to send someone out. So glad we did. The plumber quickly assessed the problem, thoroughly explained to me what happened, and told me the disposal was otherwise fine after unjamming it - saving me what I thought would be a pricy replacement. He was respectful, helpful, and punctual. Would definitely call Pioneer again first.

Sam Leonte # 1014 was very professional as well as knowledgeable about our water heater problem , he fixed it and was also good about explaining every step of the way to fix our gas water heater.I have his card and will ask for him for any plumbing issue in our house that could occur. We highly recommend Sam and so should you and roto-rooter!

Absolutely hopeless! Cannot be trusted to honor appointment. Through great expense we rearranged our schedule and employed staff to wait for their arrival and at the last minute they canceled leaving us out of pocket.
I suspect they bumped our week in advance booking for a higher paying job.
I’m furious and if I could wouldn’t even give one star. A complete time waster. Don’t allow them to waste your time

I had my home repiped with pex by repipe masters in November of 2020, and have had no issues with the pipes in the year since. The price was fair and it only took a day for the repipe crew to complete the job for my home (1600 square feet). Nick (the owner) is very friendly and easy to schedule with. I recently had an issue with the main water valve that turned out to be user error, and Nick graciously helped out with that.

PJ and the team came to the rescue for me. My home ran into a serious plumbing issue, with a sewer line that needed to be replaced. Our whole household was in emergency mode — we couldn't take a shower, flush, or even wash our hands normally.

PJ and the team went well beyond the call of duty, working late into the night on a holiday weekend to get us operational again. They didn't have to do that — but I am so appreciative that they did!

They told us they will replace a part in our water heater, instead they replaced the whole unit with one in their own inventory charging us for double the price for the same unit in the market. They took our original unit with themselves and after we asked them to return it the day after, they said they have tossed it out! We emailed them and asked questions about the unit replacement without our consent, and they called my husband and threatened him of consequences! So in short, we got a fast service, but we paid double price, we lost our own unit (which only needed a part to come back to life), and we were threatened the same day for asking questions about their decision.

My landlord has brought Steve Durham from Puget Sound Plumbing and Heating out to our house three times to address some...creative plumbing done by the previous owners. While I don't know anything about the prices (all on the landlord's dime) I can say that Steve did a fantastic job. He walked me through each of the issues, told me about the proposed fixes and why they mattered, and did a very clean install when we got the go-ahead. He was extremely patient and willing to explain anything I asked about. The plumbing gets about an order of magnitude better every time he comes by.

Highly recommend these folks, and particularly steve.

I cracked my downspout as I was digging and needed to get it fixed before it rained again. I called O’Neil in West Seattle and Bobby was at my house 3 hours later to estimate the work. He came up with a creative solution to tie into my concrete line and replace the downspout. I was offered a fair and reasonable price; his team was back 8am sharp the next morning. They not only repiped my downspout, but went above and beyond and scoped my line to ensure it still drained. Last minute I asked if a clean out could also be added. They had no problem working that in. Two hours later I had a new, professionally installed downspout tied into my concrete line and a clean out. Bobby was calm, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend calling Bobby for your exterior plumbing needs.

Had them come out for a hot water heater repair, right on time and very professional. Also, the guy wasn’t equipped to fix the problem I had, but he told me how to do it myself and then didn’t charge me for the visit, saying he doesn’t like charging people when he doesn’t fix the problem.

Didn’t fix my issue, but it wasn’t their fault, and overall found them to be very trustworthy. Would recommend.

Sherif installed a new water heater and recirculation pump for my home in North Capitol Hill. My home is fairly old and my water heater was over twenty years old. It was my first time replacing a water heater and when I gave Sherif a call he patiently walked me through the possible outcomes and pricing for each option. Sherif gave me all the information without me committing to any kind of service. Also, Sherif had me send photos of my water heater to him so that he could assess the situation. I found this much more effective than many of the other plumbing companies that insist on a visit and $100+ charge before providing a quote. Sherif was very communicative on the day of my service. One of his earlier jobs had run longer but he kept me in the loop the entire time, letting me know when his ETA was going to be. When Sherif and his partner arrived they did the job with great care, making sure not to scuff up any part of the house while removing and installing the old and new water heaters. Overall it was a great experience. I highly recommend Watertite Plumbing.
