Best Sewer Installation in Seattle WA

Rapid Rooter came to snake our sewer line. Not only were they quick, their costs were very reasonable. Would definitely use them again.

So aggressive at pushing additional services. Expensive.

All we wanted was to install a new toilet seat and he suggested replacing the toilet! An unnecessary replacement of a valve was performed as well. There was a time when no unnecessary things were done, they would take a look and fix what was needed. $800 to install a toilet seat! No longer the plumber of choice for this family.

I heartily endorse this neighborhood plumber for any of your drain cleaning requirements. They have established themselves as industry leaders and have constantly provided top-notch service.

Our technician was really nice and professional (and my dogs liked him) and did not try to over-sell us. I probably could have done the work myself but the peace of mind of having a professional evaluating the issue with my 45 year-old pipes was well worth the money.

Super glad I called Ridgid Plumbing today. We had a hot water leak under the house. Armin came out and knew exactly what to do each time a curve ball was thrown his way, due to some access issues. Can't recommend this firm enough!

Our family has used Bob Oates for our plumbing needs for about 6 years. We used to live in a 110 year house that always had some drama. Our new home is much younger but some of the remodeling work was not the best so issues arise from time to time. Bob Oates has a friendly staff, rates are good and we have no complaints. I could not believe what wonderful service I got,. They re-piped my house . Such pleasant plumbers, so considerate and friendly. 4 certified plumbers and 2 helpers converged on my house around 9:00am and set to work. They finished at 1:45pm. You could tell they knew what they were doing, they scattered and went to work, The man in charge, was everywhere seeing that things were done right,(sorry I can't remember their names, ) Thier price was reasonable and their work was excellent . I can't say enough for them and I will be recommending them to all my friends when they need a plummer.

A bit on the pricey side, though about the going rate, Simon (owner) was quick to respond, called when he was on his way with an ETA as we had requested, is personable, easy to work with and most importantly, accurately detected our leak. Thank you!

I called Zoltan to replace my water main. I briefly described the project on the phone, and he quoted me a price, which I found reasonable. He said he could take a look at the project that day, and do the work in a few days. Great!

He called me back a few minutes later, and said if I wanted to do the work that day, he could do it, for an extra hundred dollars. That seemed a little sketchy, and I declined, I was fine waiting a few days.

When Zoltan showed up, he said I misrepresented the job to him on the phone. I didn't think I had, but ok, I assume that's why a tradesman looks at a project before starting or giving a formal estimate, right? But Zoltan seemed especially annoyed by this.

He told me I didn't tell him the main went under the sidewalk. Well no I did not, but that's a common scenario, and I had offered to send him pictures, which he said wasn't necessary. He said he had to do more things, add protection under the sidewalk or something. I asked, what things? He said he would show me when he did the work. I said, I'm curious, what is it, adding conduit or something? And he would not give me a straight answer.

He said, 'you said this was easy job. I don't recall ever saying that. I'm a contractor and I know when people tell me it's easy, it usuallty isn't, so I'm not likely to tell another professional that. If it's not easy, fine, explain how it is difficult. But he didn't do that.

Anyway, I didn't like the way he was becoming more annoyed and accusatory. I didn't like that he wouldn't be specific about the details under the sidewalk. I didn't like that he was throwing out different numbers as we talked, ranging from $800 to $4800.

So when he said, let's take a look inside the house, I said, you know what, let's save each other some time, say goodbye and move on with your day. This seemed to make him more angry. He said, you said it was easy, you do it yourself!. He wanted to argue more, I just wanted to move on.

Maybe he's a great plumber. Maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe we miscommunicated. Maybe, despite my efforts to be friendly and open minded, I rubbed him the wrong way. In any case, he didn't act professionally, and I felt compelled to relate my experience here.

Finding quality service providers is challenging these days. Bobby is the real deal. Quickly diagnosed, showed me the issue and explained the reason why it was a problem. Transparent pricing. On time (was even able to come earlier than quoted). Before and after photos of the job. Couldn't ask for any better - Bobby's card is permanently on our fridge.
