Fox Plumbing, Heating & Cooling - Seattle Plumber
My experience was less than great but I was treated fairly and respectfully when I discussed my concerns. I called a couple plumbers and left messages with most but Fox was the first one to reply. When the driver showed up within an hour (about 930AM) he confirmed my current tank was DOA. The driver did a great job describing my options and helped me select a new tankless water heater. The driver told me he could remove the old one, install a new tankless and be done by 2-3PM that afternoon. I went ahead with the order and he left to go get the water heater and parts. He showed back up about 12:30 and by that time I figured it would be a little later than 3:00 unless he had help on the way but I didn't have anything else planned until 6 so I thought we would still be good. No one else showed and it was getting late. At 5:30 it appeared everything was about done and he had me start testing for hot water. Nothing. He double and triple checked connections and the installation manual and we tested again. Nothing. No hot water.Six o'clock runs around and I had to send the family along without me and let them know I would catch up later thinking that this would be something small. The driver gets on a Skype conversation with a supervisor trying to troubleshoot the problem and only after about 15 more minutes with him do they realize that the driver brought out the wrong tank than what I ordered. He had to take it back down off the wall package it up go back to the warehouse swap it out and reinstall the correct one. At 6:45 I told them to just go home for the night, go and get everything they needed and lets start fresh in the morning on Sunday (I had to go).Sunday morning came and he was at my door at 0800. it took him about 2-2 1/2 hours to complete installation, test and program the water heater. He was very nice the entire time but I was really disappointed by the timeframe he gave me for installation of the unit originally being done by 2-3 on Saturday to 11:00 on Sunday by the time all the paperwork was completed. I figured that they would have offered a discount based on taking up almost all of my weekend. But they didn't I had to ask for one. He couldn't do it but gave me the name of his supervisor for me to talk to on Monday morning. On Monday his Supervisor called me and we discussed the events over the weekend and he was understanding. We came to a fair agreement on pricing and I gave him my credit card over the phone. I thought I'm glad to get this behind me so I can move along.About two weeks later I get a call from a lady in the billing department saying that she was looking for payment on the service. I told her that I spoke with ...(names purposely left out) and that I gave him my credit card information already. She said she will check with him and get back to me. I went and checked with my bank on line and there wasn't a charge yet on my card. I thought that they would run it then once she talked to ....A couple days later I get another call saying that .... lost my credit card information. Lost? I said. Well, we think we shredded it. was her response. Ouch. I don't like they idea of having my credit card number floating out there with a I think we shredded it.So, I gave her my credit card number again. And this time it went through. TWICE.She charged my card once for the original amount without the discount and then she discovered that that wasn't the correct amount and charged it for the correct amount. Thank goodness I had that much credit available on the card. Only after she charged my card twice did she call to let me know what she had done. I believe it was clearly a mistake on her part but I still didn't like seeing so much on my card for a couple of days until the credit came back onto card.Overall the people I dealt with were very nice in all departments (The plumber, the supervisor, and accounting). But everyone of them failed to do their job correctly the first time. Making the experience a lot harder than it had to be.

Beacon Plumbing Plumber
A Beacon plumber came to find and repair a leak. Repaired a cracked T-joint but that continued to leak. Beacon said they would send someone to fix their work, didn't show the first day they said they'd come, didn't show the next time, finally sent a plumber who was nasty, swearing, angry that he'd been sent to fix someone else's mistake. Horrible customer service!! We will never use again.

He responded quickly to our call on a Saturday afternoon to unclog our kitchen sink and was able to come out in a timely fashion to unclog it. He found a gasket leak in our disposal and fixed that. He put in a proper drain/filter for our utility sink and it drains great now. Worked quickly and was knowledgeable about our problems. We would use him again.

Puget Sound Plumbing & Heating Plumber
I was very disappointed with this service but what was even more disappointing was that when I reached out to the business to try to rectify the situation, they never responded. They quoted me quadruple the price that another company quoted so I did not have them do the repairs and they also broke my shower head during the consultation.

I made an appointment with Puget Sound Plumbing for an estimate. Scheduling was prompt and while the dispatcher was nice and communicative, they rescheduled with me three different times. I was not given advance notice and each time I was called that other more important plumbing emergencies had come up and that they would not make it that day unless I could wait another ~5 hours. These calls came towards the end of the service window I had scheduled which means I wasted several hours of my time waiting around my house for the plumber to come.

When the plumber finally did make it out he was nice but quoted me $1200 to fix my leaking bathtub faucet and said he would need to go through the drywall. He also said that this price would not include repatching the drywall after the plumbing work was done. He mentioned that he may be able to do it for $600 by replacing a part, but that he would need to order the part and could not guarantee this would fix the issue. He told me that even if it did not fix the issue, I would have to pay the $600 and then do the other technique which would cost an additional $1200. I also asked him to take a look at my dual shower head while he was here which was dispensing water from both shower heads at once. He told me I would need to replace a part and that it was an easy fix but after he left I began to notice that every time I took a shower the shower head would spray from the pipe onto the ceiling and several other directions. This is really what I called about afterwards as something the plumber did broke my existing shower and I requested a refund of the cost for the trip out. They charge $109 for an estimate and put it towards the service if they end up servicing in the same trip. Their quotes for service were so high that it seems like a scam and my feeling was that they were either going to charge an arm and a leg for the service, or come out for 15 minutes and simply gather their $109 and be on their way. I was able to have my bathtub fixed by another plumbing company in 30 minutes for $300 without going through any of my walls.

Clearwater Leak Detection, Inc. Plumber
My water bill was going through the roof so I called out a plumbing company named Roto router that took me to the cleaners for a couple thousand dollars and didn’t even fix the leak! Don’t ever call Roto router ever they are rude and so expensive and then did not do the job at all. My experience with Clearwater was totally different totally! They showed up exactly on time very personable, Great smile and actually spoke English not that I’m not a fluent in 48 other languages LOL but he’s the first one of 32 were from rotor router that spoke my language which was refreshing and he was knowledgeable told me what he thought it was and he was exactly right. He said it was going to go outside and see what he could find and within 20 minutes he was back at the door telling me it was all fixed I could not believe it all fixed the meter was not running at all with the leak and he told me I had been leaking about 700 gallons per day per day! Incredible what a waste thanks Roto router for running my water bill up another $300 by not fixing anything. Thank you to Clearwater for fixing things Alderwood Water came out and checked the meter no leaks no leaks no leaks no leak. Don’t hesitate to call Clearwater they are the best! Absolutely the best!!! Thanks Clearwater!

Drain Pro Plumbing Inc Plumber
These guys do a great job. In March just as the lockdowns starts we noticed water backing up in our basement utility sink. Raman showed up on a weekend and found the break in our sewer line. They had to dig down a ways and remove a retaining wall. They got it all fixed up and even put our retaining wall back up. Excellent work and safety precautions. We'll continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs.

Seattle's Best Plumbing & Rooter LLC Plumber
PJ and the team came to the rescue for me. My home ran into a serious plumbing issue, with a sewer line that needed to be replaced. Our whole household was in emergency mode — we couldn't take a shower, flush, or even wash our hands normally.

PJ and the team went well beyond the call of duty, working late into the night on a holiday weekend to get us operational again. They didn't have to do that — but I am so appreciative that they did!

You'll be pleased with their dedication to the craft, communication, and overall pleasantness to work with.
