Absolute ripoff, never use them again

Wayne was here within 45 minutes. Ended up needing a new water heater. He did not guide us toward the most expensive option, instead lead us to the one he would install in his home. That is exactly what I want from a technician. 100% honest and professional!

Lifesavers! Wholeheartedly recommend. I had an abrupt power outage on a Saturday evening related to a breaker issue. A real person, polite and helpful, answered the phone and took a message, and I got a return call within minutes. Alex kindly and patiently walked me through how to get it back up and running, and stayed on the line with me the whole time to confirm everything was working properly. We had flooding of our basement and thought that we probably needed a French drain installed, which is super costly. We called Emerald City Plumbing and Wayne came out and looked at what was happening and figured out that the problem was with the rain coming off of the roof. Our downspouts were missing or not well directed. They repaired them and diverted all of the water out to the street instead of the foundation of our house, where it was previously going. They also dug some soil out next to our house and sealed the wall outside.

Throughout the process they kept us in the loop. They don't do work inside, but Wayne suggested what we needed done and he even came to check on the interior once we had the sheet rock removed. He was then able to see that we had a leak from a crack between the window where the water was entering the wall.

We were so impressed by him and his whole team! So professional and responsive.

Just a quick note to all looking for an honest plumber....STAY AWAY from Pioneer Plumbing. We had work completed by Pioneer on a renovation 2 years ago (in addition to a previous remodel on another home). A YEAR after the completion of the remodel, they sent my husband and I a bill for $2800. Seeing as how there was no way to verify what work was done or (even after asking numerous times for proof of additional work completed that we did not already pay for) we finally agreed to pay them half the amount of the bill in good faith since we were generally happy with their work and so that we could all end the relationship on a positive note. Since we never heard anything back, I assumed the matter was settled.

Fast forward to today, and I have a plumbing issue with the pipe they installed. I called the office and they are not willing to come back and work on their very own installation. They explained that they don't guarantee their work after a year anyways, and that they refuse to work with us anymore.

Save yourself from the frustration....and bills coming A YEAR after completion of a job. What a shame--thought I had found a good one :(. Terrible, short sided, customer service.

Received a call from the plumbing manager, Drew regarding our experience below and I am updating review. We discussed our experience with him and he was very understanding of our situation; I felt that he was honest and willing to help us. Would consider giving them another try at another time._______________________________________________________________________Received a call at 7:20AM that a plumber would be available to arrive early (within 30 - 45mins). Plumber did not arrive until 9:04AM. We had them come out to identify a leak from our shower/bathtub; they did a quick inspection and told us it would cost $400 to do further inspection (non invasive). We went ahead thinking they would be doing more testing, but were disappointed with services provided to come to the conclusion that no leak was found. We are going with another company to identify leak. Services were a waste of our time for no resolution.

I am so happy with Armin and his assistant Jorge! I had a clogged bathtub and called Rapid Plumbing for help. They came over right away and assessed the situation. It turned out the problem was much larger than a clogged drain! They were so dedicated and stayed until 9:00pm to ensure the problem was resolved and Armin was satisfied that everything was working correctly again. They were very professional, polite, and very clean. They disinfected everything before they left. I felt so guilty for keeping them on a job so late, but I was so grateful for their hard work and dedication to getting the job done correctly. I wholeheartedly recommend Rigid Plumbing and Drain Services and will use them in the future for all of our plumbing needs!

Main issue was resolved, but the plumber left a mess (see photo - white residue all over my floor and deck). Not a big deal on its own but I called and emailed the company 10 times over the past month to get a partial refund and have received no response. The hourly rate was quite high so I was expecting better service than what I’ve received.

Absolutely hopeless! Cannot be trusted to honor appointment. Through great expense we rearranged our schedule and employed staff to wait for their arrival and at the last minute they canceled leaving us out of pocket.
I suspect they bumped our week in advance booking for a higher paying job.
I’m furious and if I could wouldn’t even give one star. A complete time waster. Don’t allow them to waste your time

Professional in all aspects from start to finish. Protected carpets from mud and debris, left premises neat. They were on time and worked quickly. Excellent communication. I would highly recommend!

Had Zoltan over to inspect our gas line. He was fantastic and gave us some good information. Highly recommended him for any plumbing work!

Not only on time, but a little early :) fixed the problem in under an hour, professional and absolutely knew what he was doing. Prices were reasonable, service was exceptional.

Came out and did a sewer scope only to have a crew come out and be off by 10 feet from where he stated.

We had an old hose bibb that was dripping and a ball valve that was supposed to shut off the water to that hose bibb that was no longer shutting off completely. I had someone from another plumbing company out earlier in the week for an unrelated drainage issue (I wish I had contacted O'Neill for that one as well). They gave a rough estimate of $12-1500 for the repair, but then never got back to me like they said they would.) On a T&M basis that seemed quite high, and he gave me a mealy-mouthed response about cost of materials, labor (even though I knew their hourly rate) and that they guarantee their work. I found O'Neill and gave them a call. They said the job sounded pretty straightforward and estimated at the most an hour per part of the job but said they would come out to give a free estimate. Colin and Frank arrived in the time window they said and quickly came up with an estimate of an hour total labor plus parts. That included cutting into the inside wall to replace the hose bib properly instead of unscrewing the old one from the pipe coming out of the house and putting on a non-frost free one, which the other guy wanted to do. Colin found a bit of an issue with the way the pipe was inside the wall and suggested that it would be a better fix if they went further back along the wall. All of this without adding to the additional time estimate. When all was said and done, we have a new valve under the house and a new frost free hose bibb, all for less than half what the other guy said it might cost. If I need a plumber again in the future, I know who I will call.

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.

Had a leak in my wall, spread to the floor, Derek crawled all around my home and checked everywhere he could and finally found it. Plus he stayed until midnight to ensure it was fixed. While searching for the source of the leak, he also discovered a cracked sewer line in my crawl space and repaired that as well. Definitely, a true professional! I highly recommend and would definitely use hm again!
