I’ve been a Gene Johnson customer for nearly 20 years, for water heater and furnace services. Last night my furnace stopped working. Instead of convincing me I needed a new furnace, they quickly diagnosed the root cause to be a loose fitting, saving me thousands in unnecessary expenses. Providing what I need when I need it will keep me a Gene Johnson customer through every water heater and furnace service and replacement.

Called early in the morning to repair a leaky dishwasher hose dripping water into my basement and walls. A plumber was immediately assigned to our case that was on standby and showed up within 45 minutes. Austyn was super helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous throughout the entire process. He was able to quickly identify the issue, remedy, and tested to ensure the issue was fixed. All in all a superior experience and would recommend them to anyone.

We had an emergency plumbing issue where the sewer line had obstruction that we didn’t know about. In the middle of a foot of snow falling during rush hour, no toilets plus sewer water seeping in the tub in both bathrooms we called a few places. Beacon got back to us right away and phoned when they were on the way. Kyle came out along with Rick and got right to work. This wasn’t an easy fix as it turns out the blockage was in the line under the kitchen. Kyle went the extra mile after the standard snake it out didn’t work. Had to go in through the sewer line in the utility room after trying the bathroom and removing a toilet. Kyle solved the problem. He even asked about going in an out of the front door as a husky and a few cats live here too.He made sure to clean the area he was working. The amount surprised me a little but then I thought about it and this was an emergency call with a lot of snow and bad roads. Not complaining. I was very impressed with Kyle and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

These people are really honest people. A month ago I lost my portable printer when I accidentally left it on the street near their shop while clearing out my truck. These guys found my printer and got it back to me. I seriously appreciated this and wanted to let them know. Thanks guys.

My visit today with Jim Dandy Plumbing was to get an estimate only for installing a utility sink and faucet in my laundry room. The estimate was free, no charge to come to my home ... no 99.00 fee to roll over into the work order if I proceeded with them. Their technician was on time and very nice, answered all of my questions.
I will probably be going with them for this project.

Terrible experience. They showed up to fix a broken toilet handle ($10 part) at my disabled mothers house and told her she needs a new toilet due to slight rust in the tank. They proceeded installing a toilet for $1500 before calling me for approval. When I asked for a break down between the cost of the toilet and labor they refused to give it to me. They claim they charge per job and don’t give a break down. A new toilet is $200. How is labor $1300 for a 30 min job? When I told them didn’t have approval for the job, they proceeded to argue with me when I told them not to do the job because a “caregiver” gave them permission. A state caregiver does not have authority to approve work.

We had a great experience with Evan Conklin's company!! Super knowledgable, really nice people, and lots of integrity in terms of their work and operation. Norm installed a whole house water filter for us and there were some issues (with the filter itself, not with their work) - but they were super responsive to all of my questions and even came back to my house to help out (and didn't charge me extra for the second trip!) Would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

Fixer helped me last minute to make repairs in my rental home and they were wonderful! They quickly identified the cheapest and best option to solve the issue, and when we had to pivot they made sure we took an approach that made sure would work for the long term. Truly skilled and they were friendly and helpful :) Will use their services each time moving forward!

Our hot water heater started going out over the last several weeks. Given that our house is heated by radiators and we have a new baby, this was a serious problem. Because of the rarity of our unit, other plumbers flat out refused to even try to help us out. Not only did PlumbWorks take our calls at all hours of the night, but Nick actually spent the time required by the manufacturer to become a certified technician, just so that he could order a part for us, he didn't charge us a cent for that time. Nick and Marcus know their craft, and they are two of the nicest people you could meet. I highly recommend using PlumbWorks when you need to fix your water heaters; they do good work and they they charge a reasonable fee.

When we had a sewer blockage in our 100 year old Craftsman house, Craftsman Plumbing was able to send a team first thing next morning. Cameron was very knowledgeable, and took his time to talk us through the process and explain exactly what the issue was. He was able to quickly clear the blockage, and took care to clean and ensure that everything was working properly. His sewer scope video had a detailed voiceover to support next steps. Highly recommend working with this company.

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.
Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.
