Jeff and Mike (good looking Mike) were great! They came right on time, got right to work on checking the furnace and then kept me updated as they were working. I also asked for Jeff's recommendations on things outside of their service offerings and he was helpful and gave good advice. Definitely recommend these guys!

So aggressive at pushing additional services. Expensive.

All we wanted was to install a new toilet seat and he suggested replacing the toilet! An unnecessary replacement of a valve was performed as well. There was a time when no unnecessary things were done, they would take a look and fix what was needed. $800 to install a toilet seat! No longer the plumber of choice for this family.

I recently had my entire plumbing system replaced by this service and I couldn't be happier with the results. The plumbers were very professional and did an outstanding job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.

They didn't come on time, I had an appointment 10/13/2021 time spot between 12:00-4:00 PM and they called me informing that my spot will be between 5:00-6:00 and no one shown up or called. I called them back and they promised to come next day. the expert came the other day and did what he has to do, then after he left I noticed there is a leak from one of the connection points, I immediately called them, and they informed me that they have open time only Monday 10/18/2021, so in total they delayed my project 5 days which money loose for me.I will never have business with them again

He responded quickly to our call on a Saturday afternoon to unclog our kitchen sink and was able to come out in a timely fashion to unclog it. He found a gasket leak in our disposal and fixed that. He put in a proper drain/filter for our utility sink and it drains great now. Worked quickly and was knowledgeable about our problems. We would use him again.

Our plumber (Gavin) was fantastic! He was on time, investigated the leak in our ceiling, identified the issue quickly and repaired the old pipe. He cleaned up nicely and was professional and friendly the entire job.

I enjoy working with Bob Oates company. They have demonstrated repeatedly being good professionals, on-time and doing a quality job. Special shout out for Casey - he is awesome.

Horrible experience. We called to fix an issue with an overflowing tub. The guy they sent out went in and diagnosed the problem and quoted us a price. We signed off he began working. Halfway thru the job he says he needs more money to fix the issue we initially called for because the first quote was an attempt to fix the problem. The second quote is the solution. So we felt ripped off and decided to let him leave. The guy they sent out clearly had mental issues and stated he hadn’t slept in 2 days. Not at all professional. We had someone else check out the issue ( a different company) and they not only let us know what was wrong but also how he clearly left work so he could come back and charge us more. I tried calling the company and only met with hostility. The manager Chris would not provide me with his journeyman license number for a complain to L&I, nor would he provide me with the contact info of his owner. Not at all happy with this company and would only advise others to steer clear. They are overpriced and untrustworthy.

I called Zoltan to replace my water main. I briefly described the project on the phone, and he quoted me a price, which I found reasonable. He said he could take a look at the project that day, and do the work in a few days. Great!

He called me back a few minutes later, and said if I wanted to do the work that day, he could do it, for an extra hundred dollars. That seemed a little sketchy, and I declined, I was fine waiting a few days.

When Zoltan showed up, he said I misrepresented the job to him on the phone. I didn't think I had, but ok, I assume that's why a tradesman looks at a project before starting or giving a formal estimate, right? But Zoltan seemed especially annoyed by this.

He told me I didn't tell him the main went under the sidewalk. Well no I did not, but that's a common scenario, and I had offered to send him pictures, which he said wasn't necessary. He said he had to do more things, add protection under the sidewalk or something. I asked, what things? He said he would show me when he did the work. I said, I'm curious, what is it, adding conduit or something? And he would not give me a straight answer.

He said, 'you said this was easy job. I don't recall ever saying that. I'm a contractor and I know when people tell me it's easy, it usuallty isn't, so I'm not likely to tell another professional that. If it's not easy, fine, explain how it is difficult. But he didn't do that.

Anyway, I didn't like the way he was becoming more annoyed and accusatory. I didn't like that he wouldn't be specific about the details under the sidewalk. I didn't like that he was throwing out different numbers as we talked, ranging from $800 to $4800.

So when he said, let's take a look inside the house, I said, you know what, let's save each other some time, say goodbye and move on with your day. This seemed to make him more angry. He said, you said it was easy, you do it yourself!. He wanted to argue more, I just wanted to move on.

Maybe he's a great plumber. Maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe we miscommunicated. Maybe, despite my efforts to be friendly and open minded, I rubbed him the wrong way. In any case, he didn't act professionally, and I felt compelled to relate my experience here.

Very pleased. He and his co-worker were very efficient, we would definitely use his service again.
