Oscar Covar arrived exactly as planned and was amazingly efficient, organized and tidy.I was concerned b/c when Eric came out to price the job he had indicated it would take a helper and a master plumber to do the job in a day. I called the office when only Oscar arrived and was assured that Oscar was capable of completing the work in a day on his own, which he did, except for the arrival of Tim to help load the old toilet (a very heavy one piece unit) into the truck at the end of the day. I am very impressed with the quality of the work. Oscar was very knowledgable and an excellent plumber. When I need a plumber in the future I will be contacting Powers.I was also very grateful that Eric came out to provide the estimate a day after I called. He also was very knowledgable and honest about what was needed and pointing out other potential issues that could be deferred without any high pressure sales talk.

We’ve used Core Plumbing twice for toilet issues and both times bought new toilets from them (about $500 each). When we called about one of the toilets they had installed 4 years ago, it was determined that the rubber washer needed to be replaced. Their estimate for replacing the ~$10 rubber washer was $289. Sorry, taking our business elsewhere.

Best experience I could’ve wanted under bad circumstances! My water heater had an emergent, significant leak that needed emergency servicing when I couldn’t find anyone else to help. Jon and Ty really saved the day. They worked very quickly to stop the leaks, remove the old heater and install a high quality new heater. It took them just a few hours from start to finish. They also work with a repair/construction company that is handling the remodeling of drywall and floors for water damage to my house. Everything has been so streamlined and easy. Thank you for not only fixing my problems, but leaving the house better off than it was before.

I have had pretty good luck cleaning my own drains however the house is 57 years old and the requirement for cleaning has become more frequent, more complicated, and requires higher quality tools. In the last 5 years I've called on plumbers 3 times and like most people I shopped around for a good deal or special. In the first 2 instances I found several plumbers who offered a compatible or the very same best deal drain service as several other local plumbers. When called upon, before ever performing the best deal service to resolve my problem. The plumbers claimed things were looking grim, and put on a 15 minute sales pitch about how I needed to spend 3 times more money on the upgraded service that even included hi-tech cameras to look for any unknown problems and in return I spend 5 minutes explaining why I only needed pay for the service we agreed upon.So today when I discovered I have drain problem that has tapped my resources, I was sure to question what the Plumbers advertized deal included and in doing so discovered obvious bait and switch tactics within some offers. When I talked to Charlie at American Plumbing he was straight forward with his answers and sounded willing to put his best effort into the service he advertized to resolve my problem. Charlie showed up within 2 hours, we discussed the problem, the history and he went to work in spite of the displacement and severity of the blockage, and had it cleared in two hours.I was certainly happy to pay the $100.00 service Bill.Truly Grateful..........Bill Foti San Diego

When Tony and Eric from Community Plumbing arrived to move the gas line we asked them if they could hook up our sink too. They were more than happy help out. Once they started they found many mistakes a handyman we hired had made, which were obvious once they showed me and explained it in detail. I called this particular company because I was seeking professional experience and know how. Ken Morey's work ethic shines through. I appreciated his attention to safety and other important details. After he did a maintenance service on my 30 year+ wall heater he left it up to me to replace it or not. It was in working condition. The next day I called to make an appointment to install a new one. This is an old Hillcrest home and he had to resolve a few issues which he did with expertise. It took a more time but he didn't charge me the extra hours. He also took the initial maintenance service charge off the cost of the new heater install.

We were referred to Ace through Angie's list.They called us pretty quickly after I filled out the form and were able to get us a two hour window for the same day. When the technician, Juan Pelayo reached out to ask a few more questions about our problem and his estimated time for being here. He was very nice and professional. His timelines were clear and his guess as to the problem turned out right. That meant the phone estimate for the cost was right on. Juan agreed to text when he was in his way so we didn't have to stay at the houseJuan was professional throughout the job and a great communicator. He made it easy to understand what the issue was and our options for taking care of it. We would definitely recommend Ace and Juan, they resolved our emergency plumbing issue with no fuss!

Awesome company! Tarpy did a complete HVAC system at my condo 14 years ago. There was not a single issue with any of the components or workmanship. I did have them do a complete service and install an Ecobee Thermostat. I love the mobile app for controlling my home. Tarpy just replaced my condenser and did a great job with that as well.
