We have used this company for a big (really big) job as well as several smaller repairs. They have consistently shown up on-time and have done exemplary work for us. Tony always gives us a reasonable estimate as well as great explanations and options for the needed repair. We highly recommend this company for any type of plumbing work!

Andrew was great he told me it would cost me $422 to unblock our sewer line. He fed the snake in & within seconds had it taken care of I told him the reason it does this so he used the camera to see. He ended up charging us $125 & even went with my husband over to the Windy Meadows office to show them that they messed up when connecting house line to sewer line. Thank you Andrew

It was time to replace our original water heater that was 10 years old. We wanted a new one to avoid catastrophe if the old one broke down. I called Caliente Plumbing yesterday and within two hours they sent Ryan out to speak with us. Ryan was professional and very helpful throughout the entire process.Ryan guided us in picking out the right water heater for our needs. We never felt pressured. We agreed on a unit and a price. The next morning Ryan arrived right on time and had our new unit installed in two hours. He even swept up the garage after!Throughout the day-and-a-half process, Caliente updated us every step of the way with text messages and e-mails. We have only had the water heater for a couple of hours, but I'm confident this new unit will be great. They also included a ten-year warranty.We couldn't be happier with their prompt service and professionalism. Ryan was a great representative of the company. We highly recommend Caliente Plumbing!

***Grossly Overpriced***I didn't have any service performed, but was convinced that they were competitive with their pricing and thus I was willing to pay the $40 fee for getting a quote (with the $40 fee going toward the service). So, I just paid $40 for a ridiculous price quote...They use a book of grossly inflated figures as a basis for their estimate, not a standard materials and labor quote. To run a gas line less than 20 feet (closer to 12 feet), they wanted $1,100 plus a $150 inspection fee.This would realistically be less than $200 in materials (very likely under $100, since it is just pipe, a few joints, and a terminal) and would take maybe 3 hours in labor max. That would make their labor charge run somewhere over $250/hour!This place says they are consistently at the top of the ratings for plumbers in San Antonio, as rated by Ang**'s list. I have no idea how they are able to do that while charging customers such outrageous rates.I would encourage you to look elsewhere unless you just don't care about the amount you are charged.

We have used People's Choice Plumbing for so many things in our old house - complicated hard water valve problems in the bathroom, simple fixture repairs in the kitchen, emergency overflow in laundry room. They are always prompt, responsive, fair on pricing - David is the best plumber we have ever used, you won't be disappointed.

Kristan was very helpful and polite. He came to install a new kitchen tap for us but also helped me figure out a water heating issue and fixed a second tap both free of charge. We have worked with Aramendia 3-4 times now and always great service, premium looking finishes and very polite, helpful staff. Highly recommend

Ryan came out to repair under sink plumbing and then install new faucets, garbage disposal and water purifier. It felt like we had a friend in our house working. Professional, courteous and explained everything to us. We will definitely be using A&A again.

Based on some decent online recommendations, I called AAA Affordable Plumbing, Heating, & Air Conditioning to fix a clogged kitchen drain. A plumber came out and spent an hour trying to snake the drain (at a quoted price of $217) but failed. After the snaking failed, he gave me a new quote of $1,587. When I asked why it was so high, he said that the fasteners he would need to replace some degraded 2” cast iron pipe underneath the apartment were extremely expensive. He came back the next day with another plumber and did the job in approximately two hours. For the next three days, I called and asked for a complete invoice that explained the cost, including the “expensive fasteners.” They promised to send it, but I received nothing. I also learned that the fasteners and 8 feet of 2” PVC pipe they installed cost very little. I called again to ask about the price and invoice, and a AAA representative estimated that their basic costs were probably no more than $350. He still refused to give me a complete invoice, and he accused me of misrepresenting my conversations with his employees. Based on my experience, AAA is a disrespectful and deceptive business. I recommend finding another firm to do your job. $1,587 for a two-hour job that was inaccurately explained to me before I agreed to it? I will never use this company again.
