Best Water Service Line Replacement in Saint Petersburg FL

I like to DIY. My toilet had a leak. I bought new parts and set out to fix the leak. I got to the last nut and bolt which would have allowed me to replace the necessary parts. The nut and bolt were so corroded that nothing I tried would separate the two. I gave up and called Slaughter Plumbing. Jeff came to my house the same day. He couldn't separate them either (that made me feel better about my skills.) He pulled out a hack saw and cut them apart without scratching my toilet. Then he installed my new parts within minutes. Slaughter Plumbing hired Jeff. Jeff rescued me and did not make me feel bad about my not being able to handle that bolt myself. Thank you for the fast and friendly service.

I had a great experience with this company from beginning to end. Very pleased w Austin . He was professional knowledgeable and knew exactly the problem when he walked in and went right to work to fix it. It was a huge job. I want to thank him for checking everything and left nothing unturned. Happy I choose this company and will choose Austin again

Prompt response to my call. However, the plumber that came was in a hurry, it was at the end of the day and resolved the problem only temporarily. I believe he overcharged for the limited amount of work he did. He didn't realize he was working outside my work window when he took a call where someone was rushing him to finish.

The grandson was here this morning to install my toilet, and the caulking he put around the base of the toilet was none other than perfection.

I made the mistake of paying the statement “4K”before the job was completed and now they will not come back and finish my shower. I call everyday for 2 months but still waiting. I would never recommend them as I am in treasure Island and I am recommending our HOA to not refer them to any residents either.

They charge me $29 just to come out and look at things and try to charge me twice much is what it cost to have the drain unclogged

Way better than Geek Squad!!-----------------------------HERE'S THE SHORT STORY:Today we were blessed by Geri for our plumbing needs.🙂Geri pulled everything together for a quote for the REMOVAL, the PICK-UP, the DELIVERY, and the INSTALLATION of a toliet and 2 bathroom faucets, and did ALL OF IT ON THE SAME DAY!!All of that was done in LESS THAN 6 hours!!That INCLUDED Geri doing the removal, and then the pick-up and delivery of our products from the company warehouse!!Oh, I forgot to mention we live in a condo on the 2nd floor and have NO elevator! 😬😮‍💨😵‍💫-------------------------HERE's SOME DETAILS:Geri was not only on-time and professional, but he gave detailed insight and direction to every question we had, and explained the answers in laymans's terms that we could understand. All while explaining the warranty details by Midway Services as well as the product warranty.The quote was done expeditiously and was a fare pair price. Especially with rising costs now days.Geri was proficient at organizing each step of the process from ordering, to arranging pick-up time for products, completing the installation for our plumbing needs, and was clean frommstart to finsh. We called for a quote on toliet removal & installation. HOWEVER, at last minute we had leaks in our bathroom faucets!!Geri is the 3rd of 3 Midway Service workers that have been to our home. The 1st was our water heater and the 2nd was our garbage disposal. Midway Services has treated our home as if it their own. We'll come back again should the need arise because they're the best in our book!!

Our 2 year old A/C unit stopped working 3 weeks ago. I was able to get it functioning again. Leon came out today to check the system out. He was very thorough and professional. He's an asset to the company. We signed up for the annual service. I feel much better now that I know we'll be taken care of.

This was one of the local companies that showed up online for servicing NorthStar water softener systems in my area. We had just moved into a house and I couldn’t get the softener to turn on, so I had a tech come out to assess the problem. Nice guy. He adjusted a loose wire on the digital display, which turned the machine right on, and then he set the recharger timer on the display. We chatted about how & when to add salt....and that was it. Charged me $165. I believe that was an unfair price.

Updated Review: The owner mailed me a personal letter and included a gift card, which was very thoughtful and great customer service. I still believe if parts are being serviced and it's not just a wasted trip that the service charge should be waived. This is just my experience from other companies in times past. Again, company very nice this complaint was only about price not services rendered.
