6 hours ago. Midway Service technician replaced my kitchen faucet with a new one that I had already purchased. The work performed was completed quickly and professionally with no required cleanup after job was done. The work was very good but the cost was VERY VERY expensive. The labor cost for the job was 2 to 3 times what I had estimated given I provided all the materials.

Christian Williams was most informative and very professional in the quote for our repair. He and his assistant Devin Apple worked diligently to repair our a/c system perfectly.

Joe was very friendly, helpful and courteous. He explained each step he was doing to maintain my A/C unit in a way i was able to understand. He did an excellent job and i would highly recommend him. Thanks

The guy came out and said there was no way he would ever be able to find the leak in the a/c and then quoted over $2000 worth of work needed on my unit. He charged me $60 for the visit where he did nothing. I called another company who not only found the leak, but repaired it and stated none of the work Midway quoted was necessary. This was about a month ago and my a/c is working just fine. I would not recommend this company because this guy appeared to just want to rip me off for work I didn't need.

Kevin came and installed new hoses on my washer. He was courteous, efficient and a very pleasant person.When Paul Came to service our A/C I found the same qualities in him. Amazing gentleman came to work in my home. Well educated and respectful. Knew the core of my outside outlet and fixed it. Time and price was well over my expectations.

Kinda thought they'd do a little more for the visit, but I learned a bunch. Frankly, I would gladly pay more to diagnose the leak prior to thinking about replacements.

I called them for a really bad plumbing issue and needed emergency services Saturday afternoon. They didn’t call me back till monday morning, when I asked why they didn’t get back to me, the response was, we don’t know! Definitely will not be reaching out to them again.

Midway Services did a great job renovating our master bathroom. They simplified the materials selections, ordering, and delivery. Any issues were addressed immediately and in a professional manner. Midway Services is our go-to for plumbing, heating, and A/C.

Paul arrived promptly at scheduled time and began checking everything out. He found that the previous repair man had disconnected coil and breaker from unit. Paul then advise me that it could be as simple as the coil and would like to replace the part and see if that makes a compressor turn on . At first I was hesitant but then he let me know that if it did not work he would be able to remove the part and just charge me for the service call. I found him to be most enjoyable and went the extra mile to help my family. It’s nice to know there are still good honest repair people out there!

The company had a plumber out first thing the next day to handle our garbage disposal issue. Jerry was professional, efficient, honest and kind!

Quick response to a toilet back up issue. Very satisfied BUT way overpriced for what he had to do (use an auger and took less than 5 minutes). Still, a good job and we will keep using them for everything house-wise.

I have been very fortunate to have had Bill B. from Midway Services come to my home on two different occasions. The first was a problem with my sewer line, and this most recent one was a water pipe leak under my mobile home. Thanks to Bill's thoroughness, he also found a leak in the hot water tank pipes that I was not aware of. Bill is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what the problem is and how he is going to fix it. He checks other areas (such as the hot water tank) to make sure everything is working properly. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and professional describe Bill B. who I will request for any future plumbing problems when I call Midway Services, the best company around.

The plumber (Gerald) was very respectful, friendly, and very knowledgeable about replacing my hot water heater. He did a very good professional job and had me inspect his work for my approval. He cleaned the area and took away all material replaced. I would would recommend Midway Services to anyone needing plumbing service.

Zach was my Plumber assigned to my job this month and he was pleasantly timely with all of his updates and overall communications. His work was top notch and he even cleaned up after himself when he was done! I have used Midway for a number of years now as related to Plumbing, as well as A/C, and have always had a great experiences from beginning to end.

Scheduled an appointment and was only given the entire day as a window. I got a call late in the day that they weren’t going to make it and it would be several days before they could put me back on the schedule. I won’t try working with these guys again.

There was a high pitch whining sound coming from bathroom faucet. This would happen intermittently. I called Midway Services and they sent Dave the same day. Dave , who I found out, has been in the business over 20 years, identified the problem fight away. Tuns out I it was coming from my toilet. He replaced the parts and now I'm not awakened at 2 in the morning! I would definitely continue to use Midway for my plumbing needs.

Gerald Hodges is always kind courteous and professional. He comes in he lets me know exactly what he’s gonna do he gives me a full report and I am grateful for his service. Today was my plumbing maintanance check-up and I have peace of mind that everything is working well. He tells me about what I could do to improve things in the future if I want to. There is no high pressure sales and I appreciate that. I will always ask for Gerald for all of my plumbing needs!

I called to set up a service call at 9AM to have a Diverter shower valve replaced. The service tech came at 10:45 which was unbelievable. I was expecting a late afternoon appointment. Jose was very professional and nice. He replaced the shower faucet/Diverter and did a very neat job. Plus, the cost was more than reasonable. I called Midway to install a new garbage disposal. I wasn’t sure if I wanted another and decided to just remove broken one. Josh gave me the pros and cons and I wanted it removed. He had to get some parts and as he left I wished I had asked for an estimate to replace the faucet also. He read my mind and came back with a beautiful Moen faucet that I could have installed if I wanted. He wasn’t trying to “sell” me, as I had stated that I might replace the faucet in the future. He stated that I would save 1/2 the job cost if I did it at the same time. I was impressed by the faucet and had it installed! We have had Midway install a TruTankless water heater this past spring and are very happy with it also!

Your AC technician , Paul, was absolutely wonderful! Our issue was one that had to be dealt with over several days due to parts and the long holiday weekend. Paul kept us updated and our unit charged so that we had a cool house throughout this entire difficult! It is so wonderful to have an employee like Paul! We knew that we were in excellent hands!Thank you to you and Paul!

Rob figured out my electrical problem and was able to resolve the issue the same day, despite the rain storm. It took a little longer because of the rain and lightning, but he did a great job at a reasonable price. This is the first time I used Midway services, but if their other technicians are as professional and pleasant as Rob, I will be using them again.

I needed electrical services and Midway sent out an electrician the same day to inspect my blinking lighting fixtures in the kitchen and master bathroom. Chris is excellent/knowledgeable and really listened to understand my concerns and checked the breaker panel. He reassured me that everything was safe and also checked the light switches. I am considering using Midway for a generator for hurricane preparedness. I would definitely call them again!

We had some plumbing repair work done and we’re very pleased with the work performed.

I would avoid this company at all cost. I scheduled them to come out to deal with a simple drainage clog. I was given a quote of almost $3,000. Actually my wife was given the quote which begs the question of whether the company was trying to take advantage of my wife being female and being unfamiliar with plumbing work. After I advised how outrageous the quote was, it was quickly dropped by almost $1,000. With the quote still being outrageous we called another company that was able to take care of it on the spot for about $300. I can't imagine the number of unsophisticated consumers, retirees and the like that his company has taken advantage. My suggestion would be to avoid them at all cost.

The Midway Services technician, arrived at the prescribed time, was efficient & polite, and carried out the difficult repair of our burst water main much to our satisfaction, and charged exactly as quoted, despite spending more time on the job, than anticipated.

Gerard & Zack installed a tankless water heater in my home. The service was exceptional — from the initial service call to quote the job all the way through installation. I would not hesitate to call them again or recommend their services. Professionals through and through.

Electrical panel damaged due to fire. Midway installed new electrical panels and wiring, tested all wiring thru out home for damage. Technician very professional and knowledgeable. Upgraded panel at the same cost compared to other contractors for lower amp breaker box. Was not the cheapest quote for repairs compared to other contractors, picked them because of their knowledge and answered all questions and had sound advice. Technician also followed up the next day to see if we had any questions or concerns with the job. I recommend them if you live in St. Petersburg, fl.

I needed a new garbage disposal installed and some electrical outlets repaired. The service was excellent from start to finish. Many thanks to Lisa - she actually handled my initial call and was able to schedule my service for the next morning! Kevin and Vladimir came out to my house to install electrical conduit and wiring for our new boat lift. They were great! Prompt, professional and all around great service. Kevin was always available with answers for my silly questions and was very patient.

Called with an AC unit connection issues on a Tuesday at 9:00 was told they were in a meeting till 10 but would call me back. Called back and told me a technician couldn't get out till Thursday.

I had a pipe burst outside my house and called Midway, in less than an hour they diagnosed and corrected the problem, hats off to Marley at the office for making this happen, and plumber Zach for doing a quick and professional job! The price was great too!

Kevin Roberts did a super job installing the kitchen light. I recommend Kevin.Dennis Schneider and Donald Wolf remodeled the entire kitchen. The entire crew was very professional and paid great attention to the details. The entire process exceeded our expectations.

A young man named Zach came out this morning to fix my plumbing problem. He was excellent. He got the job done, informed me of my options in a clear and straightforward manner, was polite and personable.In the past I have had mixed results with Midway. But unfortunately that is true with every other company I have used. Today, however, I feel that I was dealt with fairly and knowledgeably.I also would like to say, that in the past I really liked an older gentleman named Terence from Midway.He also knew just what he was doing, and made sure I understood what my options were. I would gladly welcome either of these men to fix my plumbing problems in the future.

We needed our a/c serviced at 4am and Midway had someone out within the hour. He was friendly, informative, and thorough. Luckily it was a minor thing and we were very pleased with the service AND the cost..... so much so that we have contracted with Midway to service or a/c twice a year and our hot water heater once a year at a cost that is only a few dollars more annually than my Amazon prime account. So worth it!

Noticed having hard, bad tasting water from softener. Josh was third person in about 6 weeks sent to solve the problem - and so far my water is great. His solution was not enough water in the brine tank and showed me how it should be. I'm really glad I no longer need to purchase bottled water for making iced tea, etc. Josh is very professional and thorough, and Midway is lucky to have him.

Tim was the best! Professional, patient and explained everything to me. I love Midway Services for this reason!! I am going to ask for Tim whenever I need plumbing done!!

Devon came out today after we called about a loud noise from our outside unit. He was very thorough and did a great job of cleaning the inside of the unit that had debris in it. He was very conscientious in troubleshooting and checking the circuitry to find what was causing the noise. We were glad to have a technician with his expertise to check our system!

Mike from Midway went above and beyond trying to solve our sewer issue. He never gave up trying to find where the problem was. When he did find the broken pipe after digging 5 ft down there was a live power wire running through the pipe. Duke had been out 3 weeks prior and ran line through pipe. Mike quickly got Duke out to look at line and they worked well into the evening to finish the job and replace the pipe. Mike truly cared about solving our issue. He showed up and followed through on everything he said he would do.

Christian installed a water heater. Excellent job! He understood what I wanted and went above and beyond to complete the task in a meticulous manner.

Today I had Paul, HVAC Technician, to my house to diagnose and repair my heat pump. Paul is professional and knowledgeable about the system and performed the task above and beyond my expectations. I will request Paul for all of my HVAC needs from Midway.

These guys work, their tails off! Under Kevin’s guidance Genon (worm) & Troy they all got down and dirty and didn’t let a little rain stop them from running new electrical cables. Quenton & Jason teamed up to install the mini-split. They were very professional, did quality work and clean up.

Had them do some electrical work for me to upgrade a dryer plug. Andrew was very nice, helpful, and very quick. Cleaned up after himself and even fixed a panel for free because he wanted it to look good next to what he was working on. Will use them again

I'm not as pleased with Midway as before when I have used them. I think they are overpricing themselves out of my ability to use them. I needed a simple change out of the guts of my toilet and a new handle on another toilet. I was quoted a price of $480. I can go to Lowe's and get the parts for less than $50 bucks and do it myself, but my husband didn't have time to do that. In addition it took them 3 days to make the repair, one day to review, the next day to miss the scheduled appointment and finally the 3rd day to complete the job. I asked about replacing one toilet and was told the toilet was $900 plus installation. Are you kidding me? I can get a brand new toilet from Lowe's for less than $300 and pay only $129 for installation. Someone is getting rich at Midway Services and its not me. I used them this time because I was in a bind, but will call a smaller housed family owned plumber the next time. I mean, really, who charges over $100 for a toilet handle?

We have used Midway for over 10 years. We are always very happy with their service. Some of the techs always go above and beyond. I would definitely recommend them.

Way better than Geek Squad!!-----------------------------HERE'S THE SHORT STORY:Today we were blessed by Geri for our plumbing needs.🙂Geri pulled everything together for a quote for the REMOVAL, the PICK-UP, the DELIVERY, and the INSTALLATION of a toliet and 2 bathroom faucets, and did ALL OF IT ON THE SAME DAY!!All of that was done in LESS THAN 6 hours!!That INCLUDED Geri doing the removal, and then the pick-up and delivery of our products from the company warehouse!!Oh, I forgot to mention we live in a condo on the 2nd floor and have NO elevator! 😬😮‍💨😵‍💫-------------------------HERE's SOME DETAILS:Geri was not only on-time and professional, but he gave detailed insight and direction to every question we had, and explained the answers in laymans's terms that we could understand. All while explaining the warranty details by Midway Services as well as the product warranty.The quote was done expeditiously and was a fare pair price. Especially with rising costs now days.Geri was proficient at organizing each step of the process from ordering, to arranging pick-up time for products, completing the installation for our plumbing needs, and was clean frommstart to finsh. We called for a quote on toliet removal & installation. HOWEVER, at last minute we had leaks in our bathroom faucets!!Geri is the 3rd of 3 Midway Service workers that have been to our home. The 1st was our water heater and the 2nd was our garbage disposal. Midway Services has treated our home as if it their own. We'll come back again should the need arise because they're the best in our book!!

Called in the morning on a SUNDAY and had a service tech at the house by lunch same day! Saw the problem and fixed it. Great service. Signed up for their membership club to have them service all the other parts of the house.

We called them at the start of a holiday week and they were able to fit us in. I thought their prices were very reasonable. Their electrician (Kevin) did an amazing job! He was very fast at diagnosing and fixing the problem. He also took time to show us what was causing the problem. I would highly recommend them.

I've used this company many times before, but didn't realize until just recently that they are able to do electrical work as well. I have used another local company for most of the electrical in my house - but after experiencing the Midway difference, I will always call Midway first! Greg did a great job at explaining what needed to be done, options for the different levels of service, and was very professional and friendly throughout the entire job. He was very forthcoming and honest and has made me a Midway customer for life.

I don't think I've ever had such good service from any company I have ever dealt with. Eric was fabulous, as was Scott. The job was done quickly and with minimal disruption to the household, and it was a BIG job. They were so neat you couldn't even tell they had been there. They were both so kind, asking us if there was anything else they could do. They solved every problem we had with our electricity. I wil recomend them to anyone who needs any work done as they offer a multitude of services. Don't use anyone else!!

I called on a Sunday morning because my air conditioner was leaking water. Not only did Midway Services respond within an hour, but the repairman, Anthony, was extremely professional. He explained everything to me! The price for the repair was very reasonable. I highly recommend Midway Services.Update--today 6/2/23 I met with Corey and Christian to discuss replacing my current A/C. They were the utmost professionals, taking the time to discuss all of my options. I chose a system that I believe will serve me now as well as in the future. I cannot say enough about Midway and I recommended them to anyone needing A/C services.

I've had 3 visits to get my ac right. $1200 dollars later I still have issues. Your tech Jason ,I believe he has done his best to get things right, but maybe a new set of eyes might be a good idea .I am willing to go one more try,but if I don't get better results I'll have to find a new ac company.

Scott and Quinton were amazing. They came in and explained everything to us about our until and what was wrong. Got the air back running cool in no time. They also explained the bi yearly membership check up and it was better deal than not having it so totally went with it. Great service and great people!

Had a bird caught in the dryer exhaust vent. They showed up within a couple hours of calling, helped me get the bird out and then changed the exhaust ducting, added a proper scree. Then they thanked us for giving them the opportunity to perform their services. Sure, it's not the cheapest company, but they did it correctly the first time, and quickly.

This is a 2-part review. I had Service maintenance performed on my AC unit. The service technician, Leo, was professional, friendly, and polite. I decided to have new ductwork installed since mine was over 35 years old. Greg who came with Leo took care of all the arrangements. Greg was also friendly and took the time to answer all my questions.The 3 man crew, Alejandro, Allen and Antonio (hope I have their names correct) who came to install the ductwork were undoubtedly the hardest working men I have ever had the pleasure of working in my home. They worked consistently without even taking time for lunch until the job was completed. In my mind, every one of these men from start to finish deserves a 5-Star rating. Thank you Midway for these amazing employees.

Called Midway Services to come give me an estimate for my leaking main shut off valve and was quoted $580 ish and should take 2 hours. I was flabbergasted at the price!!! I went to Home Depot and spent $60 for the parts and stucco patch and it only took me 2 hours to do it myself. I am in construction fyi. I cant believe they charge so much for 2 hours of work. If you are handy, save yourself a lot of money!!!!

Called Midway to obtain a free estimate to replace our electrical panel and upgrade it the amperage. We were very impressed with the professionalism, and upfront free estimate for services to have the panel replaced. We went ahead with Midway, despite having other estimates/bids and Kevin, the electrician was readily at our door bright and early the scheduled day of service. Kevin did a fantastic job! He is both very professional, courteous.and extremely knowledgeable. A true expert in his field.A few days later, we had trouble with the connection to our water heater and, once again called Midway. To our surprise, Midway sent a wonderful and very professional plumber the same day, Terrance. Terrance performed a diagnostic on the issue and found a lose wire. Since our water heater is older, Terrance was kind enough to provide us with a free estimate to replace it whenever we decide. Terrance has an amazing wealth of knowledge and guidance.Both Terrance and Kevin are a wonderful asset to Midway Services. They are not pushy service salesmen, but truly caring and knowledgeable technicians in their fields. It is very refreshing to find a company that you can trust in your time of need.

Midway services sent Greg as my electrician today. I was in a panic because the cable guy told me that there were charred wires in the attic and my house could burn down. I was awake all night and afraid to turn on the heat or more than one light at a time. Greg looked in the attic and told me the wires were not charred and there was no fire hazard. As a woman I appreciated his honesty. He could have lied and told me my whole house needed rewiring and I wouldn't have known any better. He only fixed the two wires that someone had duct taped and an area of bare wires. Greg was very professional, friendly and most important honest. I would highly recommend Midway services and be sure to ask for Greg.

Update: Felix came out first thing Saturday morning after the manager, Mike, saw my review here.Felix found a drain access that I didn't even know existed in my garden. He came with all of the tools he needed to get the job evaluated, fixed, and offered insight as to what the problem was and how it could be fixed along with an estimate for what it would cost. He also told me there was a 1 year warranty for the clog fix. Now this is the kind of expert service I would expect from a rated 5-star company.I'll bump my rating to 4-stars from 2. I would have given 5 stars if the job had been done properly the first timeA little disappointed with our guy, Terry, who came out today. We were scheduled for 2-4, and he csme at exactly 4. He didnt really seem to know what he was doing, with a lot of oh, thats weird remarks. Also, he knew he was coming out for a clogged drain but didnt bring his cable camera with him, so he couldnt even make an informed guess at what the problem was. He charged $400 for a half done job (he fixed the clog, but thinks there might be a bigger problem underground). For a 5 star company, I expected someone a little more professional and knowledgable. Wont be using this company again.The only reason i even called Midway was because i heard they were a great company.Drain Medics was much more professional.$175 for the same job, punctual, and came prepared with a snake and camera the last time i had to call.

Needed a compliance certificate on a washer/dryer installation to close on a condo purchase. The tech was to arrive between 8 and noon. He arrived after 5pm. Totally full of himself. He did the work, but it was a very painful process 🙁 I think there must be better companies out there ...or at least we hope so.

Midway Services installed an electrical panel in our home, which had the original bulb fuses from 1960. Chris Nichols did a wonderful job with communicating the process and status. Both Chris and Vlad were experienced and professional, and the installation was smooth.

My A/C went out on a Saturday afternoon! I neglected to call right away as it was a weekend and didn't want to spend the extra differential. However, I broke down and called at about 7pm. I had a wonderful representative, Jason, show up at my door at about 9:00 am on Sunday morning and he had everything up and running for me within an hour. He was courteous and informative and explained everything that was wrong and what was needed to repair the unit. Greg was very professional and knowledgeable. He installed a pool pump, changed a main breaker, rewired a light switch, and totally wired and installed a ceiling fan. 2nd time I usd Miday. I called Midway 4pm 5.25.23 Thursday regarding a water heater lights & beeping. Next day Friday Gerard H. tech arrived diagnosed problem on Sears water heater showed us the mold etc. Needed to get new water heater. GH called about new water heater yes they had in stock but no truck available to deliver. GH went and picked up new water heater, installed & removed old Sears. First time I used Midway when my Sears kenmore ice dispenser was leaking/pouring water out. Mike Schetgen (not sure about spelling of last name) was able to come same day I called & rectified issue. I will continue to use this company.

He had been here previously on a water quality call.As usual the work is beautiful. My new kitchen is complete and Gerald will be requested the next time we need professional help for our home.Thank you Gerald for another job well done.----------------------------------------------------------------------I have been contracting Midway Services for 5+ Years. From a new HVAV system, plumbing fixtures, new electrical wiring and fixing what was done wrong prior to me. When they leave my home it is cleaner than when they arrived lol !All joking aside, each of the trade specific masters are neat, neat and did I say neat. Not a drywall piece is left, no drill offal, no soldering evidence left behind.Their work is polished. Shining examples of the way work should be done.Not the least expensive, but they are all professional and again neat, polished and no recalls.

We had an emergency with our AC unit one evening and Midway Services sent out HVAC service Dom L. He was fantastic! He temporarily fixed the problem so our AC worked that night until the part came in a few days later. Dom sat with us and gave us all of our options with prices. He made us feel very comfortable in choosing the best option for us (even since our unit was a quite few years old.) He was very upfront and honest on our options and let us choose the best route for us. We appreciated his honesty. We had some water leaking a few days later and we requested Dom back and he fixed the leak and replaced all the new parts that came in. He worked very hard and cleaned over and beyond (it was more cleaning that he thought.) He even took our wet rugs (we had in our garage) out to dry! He went over and beyond. He was very knowledgeable, hard working, kind and explained everything to us thoroughly. We would highly recommend Midway Services to everyone. They are very reliable, hard working, honest and Dom was exceptional!

I called for help with 2exhaust fans. Mo came over the same day and replaced both fans at a fair price. I was impressed by his professionalism and respect for our property.

Three weeks ago my wife and I got a new dishwasher. When I went to install it I realized that the current cord was to short. We decided to call up a professional to have it done the proper way. Kevin from Midway came out and looked over everything and explained what we needed. He then went to check the electric box and realized it was a very old model that is no longer up to code. Now my wife and I have known this and we have pushed it off for a few years. We asked Kevin for a quote and he put together one for the entire scope of all the work. He did not try to sell us on anything. He was very kind and curious. It was not a high pressure sale at all. We decided to go ahead and get the panel moved and replaced along with some other stuff that we wanted done.Kevin came back the next week with the parts for the dishwasher and installed that. He also went out of his way to make sure everything I previously did to it was correct. He checked the level asked how I wanted it placed etc. It was all the small stuff and the way he handled everything that made his interaction so great. On week two Kevin and two other associates came out for the electric box (my apologies their names have slipped my mind). Now we have two big dogs and all three of the Midway service techs loved them. They did not mind when my dogs wanted to see what they were doing or get in their way. They always took a moment to play with them and let them in their work space. After the electric box was installed there was an issue from some old wiring that had nothing to do with the box. They are coming out today to fix that and fix some fans that were installed incorrectly.We will definitely use Midway again. Not just because of there fair prices or cleanliness but because of the spectacular customer service Kevin and his associates provided. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

midway rep was very educational about transfer switch and its functions/limitations. explained install process and preinstallation requirements. showed up on time for quote and again on installation day. very clean area when finished and again with reinstruction of the switches use. would highly recommend midway and will certainly use them again.

After a set appointment, stalled back another day. Then, next day told they'd call early morning. No call. Finally, went with another company. They were there within a few hours, analyzed the problem and repaired the system.

We had Greg the electrician for some electrical work, along with some other Midway employees. He really stood out as knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend asking for him by name! I also Midway for a/c and Paul Cuthbert was a gem! He REALLY knew what he was doing and I was super happy to have him come help us out. I wish I could have written a second review for him. Hopefully the owners will take note - he's a keeper!

David provided excellent service. He informed me of the problem and made repairs within a timely manner. I was very pleased and will request his services if I need services in the future.

The electrician was very knowledgeable and did a nice job. The price was more than twice other bids but used this company because my mother needed it done that day so I just bent over and paid it. $150 worth of materials and job cost $880 and took 1 man 3 hrs. Won't be calling them again, can't afford it unless I was in a bind again.

Kevin called to let me know he would be at my house within a half hour to do electrical work, and he was prompt, did an excellent job, left my kitchen (where the work was done) cleaner than when he arrived, and quoted me a great price. Thanks, Midway!

We have a tankless hot water heater system and have been customers of Midway since 2015. Gerald was our service person today. We live in a 55+ community, and Gerald entered with covered shoe protectors and an N-95 mask, which we greatly appreciated, since my husband's lungs are compromised. Gerald did impeccable work in small spaces and was conscientious of our concerns. He is a great representative of this company, as he is polite, clear in his explanations and sensitive to hearing and responding to his customers. We are very satisfied with his work and would recommend Midway to our neighbors.

Terry was the technician that came to my house. He was very professional, explained how he would find the water leak in my walk. I recently used Midway services to replace my garbage disposal and my kitchen faucet. They were great with communication and performed quality work. They were also efficient and good at explaining the processes, services and prices. Tabor was the person who performed the work and he was great! Also, every other person I spoke with was very pleasant and professional. I also used them for an estimate to get my air ducts cleaned which was a good experience as well. I have not scheduled that service but I plan on doing so I’m the near future. I just moved into a home by myself (first time homeowner) and have had to put some work into it and Midway has been my favorite company to work with!

Worked for Midway plumbing in 1995 was a top producer and quality and sales I had 15 years prior service in the business I had the best van in the fleet at my request to take the job there nice uniforms seem like nice folks until Steve the owner would not even shake my hand first thing in the morning before a meeting after a mistake quoting a customer $98 for replacing a $2 toilet supply line I was brought into the office reprimanded twice and said that I should have charged $248 to the elderly lady in a not so decent Mobile home Park we're I'd my mind just could not accept that they took so much from these people and then yelled at me about not making a profit they may remember me I left their van on the John's pass bridge in Madeira Beach after going to another plumbing company and their van and securing a job the same day where I remained for 8 years would not recommend overcharged overpriced all you're paying for is somebody that looks clean and acts nice -10 rating if I could.!!!!!

I had a water softener installed for the first time at my home, and work was completed on April 27th. Calling Midway Services to get a plumbing technician out to my house to go over the cost and setup was super easy and all of the office staff I spoke with were very nice and a pleasure to work with.My plumbing tech Gerald did an amazing job at getting the softener set up for me. He explained exactly how it needed to be placed, and how the electrical needed to be set up as well as where he was going to run piping to the unit prior to starting work. He is very knowledgeable and I was impressed with the quality of his work. Getting everything installed was very straight forward and am very happy with my new softener.I couldn’t believe how much of a difference it made, and definitely recommend anyone on the fence about getting one to just do it. You’ll be happy you did! You’ll be even happier having Midway Services and Gerald installing the unit for you.

Midway services is great. I called in a panic because I thought I killed my garbage disposal. I called in the morning and by the afternoon we had Felix come out. He fixed our garbage disposal and leaky pipe. He was very knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. He took great care not to make a mess. He wore boot covers as to not track in dirt. Very expensive! Why it costs $560 to change out 2 shut off valves is beyond me. Everyone was nice and once the job was done it was was fine. The technician thought it was ok to smoke pot between trips to the van (several trips). After several calls to the office I was able to get the price down a little. I don't think I would ever call them back or recommend them. I definitely don't want someone at my house who's smoking pot while on the job.Update: A representative from Midway Services called me to talk about the review. They apologized for the kind of service I had. They took my problems seriously and are going to investigate them. They kindly refunded some of what we paid for the service due to the bad experience. I appriciate them taking the time to contact me to try and resolve the issues. I still don't know why it cost so much for the handles to be switched....

Midway is always reliable and on time. I get several calls about when they are expected to be here and then when they are on their way. The work is always done to my satisfaction and the technicians are always polite and clean. They even sometimes wear the paper booties! I have used them for a/c, plumbing and electrical.

Thank you Midway Services and Chad M. for doing such a fine job with ensuring our tub turns on/off properly and the shower/tub can be used like new! We have been very impressed with the employees when we have spoken on the phone or a professional has come out to help solve a problem. We called Midway Services when we had a water line break in our yard. The technician fixed it, left the yard great, and told us about some of the other services Midway provides. That is why we called them back for the shower and tub problem. We highly recommend them.

Called midway services to fix my tankless water heater. They wanted $1286 to change out the computer board. I order the part for $249 and did it myself in 20 minutes and I’m not a handyman. Very very expensive.

We had Midway add recessed lighting, move some receptacles, move and install a new ceiling fan, and delete the switched outlets in our master bedroom. Kevin and Jeff did an excellent job. They were on time, protected our contents from dust, and left our bedroom clean. We obtained estimates from several companies and Kevin at Midway was the only electrician who made great suggestions on the right products for our space. We are extremely happy with Kevin, Jeff, and Midway and will certainly recommend them in the future.

Let me start with, we had an appointment for between 9-12. I know many things can happen that will delay a job and technicians can get pushed behind. I received a call at 1038 telling me the guys/gals were delayed. No problem, i told them i was leaving the house for a few minutes and to call me when they would show up.So let's really get to the end of the story. It is now 404 pm 1604 or all you military folks. I just got a callstating they were leaving Clearwater now and would be by my house in 40-45 minutes.I really don't have a problem with someone running late. I really do get it! My question is, why didn't someone call me inn the morning to reschedule the appointment. But to have me wait was just not right.I would like to know who had a good experience with them. Feel free to contact me ...I did receive a call from the manager which i appreciated very much. He offered me a $200 discount for my troubles. (To be perfectly frank, i found that rather insulting) . I stayed home all day for this. We all know how valuable time is. The quote i received was $2500, which was much higher than any other quote i received.Shelley

Leo was my HVAC service technician and did an A+ job with customer service and expertly answered my many questions.

I was not getting any hot water from my tankless water heater. Gerard came out and very quickly diagnosed the problem, a leak in the concrete. He set up an appointment for Leak Detection to come out and then he returned to dig into the concrete in my closet and repair the pipe. He was professional, explained the problem and answered all my questions. I was very happy that he was able to remove the laminate in my closet in such a manner as to make the laminate easy to reinstall. He did an excellent job and cleaned up after task was completed. Hot water is now restored and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Thanks to Gerard and all the other fine folks at Midway.

I am a single, professional woman (Registered Nurse), and I must say this is the very first time I have been completely taken advantage of. My electric went out completely, my trusted A/C repairman, Brian with Bateman A/C (highly recommend), came out to check a/c and checked breaker box and recognized my main breaker was just about gone. Well, it was and my electric went out completely on a Friday. I was frantic, 2 refrigerators full of food, 2 dogs in the house, no internet, so I used my phone and Midway came up first, fast service was the logo. I called at 8am and was today tech would be out between 9-11, he showed at llam. Long story short, after several calls were made to the boss, he told me the entire breaker panel would need to replaced, he would work up a quote, several more calls to the boss. My quote $2800, it's about 11:30 am and the temp is rising close to 80, I almost started crying, I pleaded, wasn't there something else he could do. No way, but they offered financing, REALLY! They had me, it was Friday, the weekend coming and the temp rising, so I agreed. They were here until after 6pm and came back on Sat. at llam. After speaking with neighbors and friends, I discovered this very same service averages from $900. to the most expensive I could find was $1600. So plug into your neighbors elec., and shop around, DO NOT USE MIDWAY. I have dedicated most of my life helping and caring for others and to be so blantantly taken advantage of is a crime, this must be what rape feels like. Lesson learned.I have been lucky with most service providers and this will never happen to me again.

I called midway services and was told by Dave that there people were better than many others. I gave him a check for half down 2900 to redo both bathrooms and to do drywall work on living room and daughters room. They came out and ripped the toilets out. I was told it I would be without toilets for 2 days. I had a hotel room reserved for 5 days which was the total time I was guaranteed the project would take. The tiler came in to tile which took 2 days. I have a real small bathroom?? Next the plumber was supposed to be there at 8 a.m shows up at 2p.m.??? He is there an hour and says he needs a part that he does not have. I ask him if he is going to get it and he says he has to go he is having work done on his house and he has to avoid traffic??? Next day the tiler comes and says he is doing plumbing. He said he knows nothing about plumbing. He calls Dave who was trying to explain this over the phone??? He could not figure it out and he left. The drywallers who where there did not have all there drywall dropped off as they said Dave was supposed to do it. No baseboards for a week and the drywallers were gone already. My bathroom has no baseboards still 9 months later. The last plumber told Dave on the phone I think they might sue us for breach of contract. Tried to call Dave for days and went to voicemail. One of his guys called and he picked it up right away?? Worst company ever!!!!! I am down 2900 dollars and my bathrooms are not finished. On day 18 Dave shows up for the last half of the project and I said it’s not even halfway done. He acted surprised and I told him to get out. I would expect a refund for my 2900 dollars!!!!! If this company were smart they would fire Dave. I was guaranteed 7 days of work and 18 days later not even close. If this is not resolved soon I will go to the BBB the attorney general Pam Bondi and social media as well as new stations who can help with this. I have been real sick ever since the work was done here. I spent 700 additional dollars for a hotel to house my kids,grandkids, and pets. My wife was out of town for two weeks and just cried. Owner of midway I as well as others are waiting for your response immediately on this website. Supposed to be a family business so be one and take care of your customer

Mike Schogen our serviceman was the reason I chose Midway to attend to our plumbing needs in our kitchen. I had a number of estimates and some were less but his professionalism, respectful good nature at our estimate sold me. Midway also provided a Veterans discount as advertised as well. Mike arrived on time and was courteous and efficient. As we are snowbirds Florida is a new experience and happily a good one with his company and its serviceman and office staff..Thanks for making this a good experience so far!

WOW is all I can say. I called on a Wed afternoon as our current 20 yr old system was just not working as it should. I told her that we were looking at inspection of current unit and also a quote on new system. Greg (sales) and Fernando (Tech) showed up on Thurs morning and while Greg spoke to us about the systems available, pricing and the advantage program Fernando did a very thorough inspection of our unit and air handler. Since it is 20+ yrs old it doesnt use the current freon, the coils were all rusted and there were numerous issues with our current system (Which we knew due to age).Greg suggested the unit for us, it has the dehumidifier built in and UV protect. Also with the Advantage plan it is all covered, maintanence, repairs, parts, even the filters so we decided to go that route.Can you believe they were able to install it the next day! That was amazing. So on Friday morning, Anthony and Alejandro showed up in the morning and got started on the install. They were so professional, very nice and made sure to clean up after they were done. They finished right about 4:30 that day and then gave us a walkthrough of how to use the new thermostat.I cant say enough about this comapny and the great customer service they provide. Highly recommend!!

Have used this company for work in past. We were very satisfied. Had water leak this weekend . Small repair . Quoted $460.00 for less than 1 hour work . Outrageous rate. No manager to speak with. Have to pay and speak to management on Monday.

Greg rewired a 1950's Bungalow with exceptional proficiency. Old houses always are difficult,, and he was able to repair send upgrade all outlets and installed new ones whereby needed them. I was impressed by his quality and efficiency and have asked for quotes on other Midway services.

The Technicians Greg and Chris arrived on time and were very courteous tj e installation went smoothly and they always asked permission if he had to alter something in on the house to complete the job. Highly recommended.

I bought 3 years maintenance plan. The receptionist called few times insisting to scheduler AC tune up and maintenance checkup for plumbing.I could not schedule at first, She called again and I said ok.AC guy came and told me It will take him whole day as I have 5 units starting from first unit, He told to add UV light. Then next one something with capacitor not working its full capacity, I said Im not interested till it breaks. Last one he comes and told me I have broken fan and its not going to work and to fix it will cost 600$.I asked him, how is it possible it was working fine last night. He said he has nothing to do with that.While before this tune up my all units were working fine on cooling and heating. This is my first time getting Maintenance Plan.What a ripoff to create unnecessary expense for homeowner and business for Midway.People please be aware !!!

Been customer of MS for years. Called Jul 5 to schedule a preventive maintenance check for my residential a/c and was told they couldn't get to me until Sept. Yes, Sept! So, if I'm proactive they can't do the job for at least two months? Obviously not interested in my loyalty! Moving on.

The electrical technician that arrived at the house, on a Sunday, was awesome. I was anxious about dealing with the problem while my husband was away, but Vladimir Blank immediately made me feel at ease with the situation. He was knowledgeable, thorough in troubleshooting, and took the time to explain the problem that was found. He made sure I had temporary power before he left that day. When he returned to complete the job, I was not disappointed at all. Vladimir Blank was professional, and had a great personality. I would use him again, and recommend to any family, friend, or any other who needs electrical work.

So unprofessional!!!!!!! Made an appt to meet with a plumber in my house in St. Pete. I need to have the entire house Re-piped so it’s a fairly big job... what this joke of a company did was have me drive over an hour to the property the day of, then 30 minutes prior call me and tell me the plumber won’t be able to make it today. I hope their company goes bankrupt. Find someone more reputable!!!

I have used Midway Services for several major projects in the past several years, including a mini-split A/C installation, propane water heater replacement, and conversion of my home's old electric system from fuses to circuit breakers. Most recently, Kevin R, who had done the electric conversion, was back to take care of a surge protection device that needed replacement. All of these services were performed very professionally. I would always be happy to recommend Midway to anyone needing electric, plumbing, or air conditioning service.

We have used Midway twice for electrical issues. The first was for a rather complicated issue, which they solved with ease for a reasonable price.The second time they came out, they found the cause of the problem and fixed it quickly. They had to come out 2 additional times because we continued to have issues. They came back out promptly with no additional charge, even though they discovered that the additional problems were resulting from our equipment.We will continue to use Midway, they have a very loyal customer in Advantage Pet Center.

I called and scheduled an appointment for the next day, and they told me they will be in my house from 8-12 and that they will call me 45 minutes before to let me know they were on their way. I called them at 11:10 to check if the technician was on his way, and to my surprise I wasn't even scheduled at all. They apologized and told me that someone can come after 4pm but they were not even giving me a time frame. This shows how IRRESPONSIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL they are. I will NEVER contact them again.

My tech was Paul. He listened to my concerns and went over and above to investigate the cause. He patiently explained his findings and the options. I couldn't ask for more.

I had my air conditioning system installed by Midway in August 2019. The install team was extremely professional and worked fast and efficiently. Paul came out to do a maintenance on my system, and today Mike installed a UV Light for me. I have had only great experiences with all involved in scheduling, service, etc. I would recommend Midway to all of my friends and family!

3/9/18 update - Midway Services called and offered to replace the stairs to our attic. When installing the new stairs technicians were on time and professional. Thanks for making it right!The staff member who came to our home to provide a quote for a range hood installation broke the ladder to our attic and was unable to fix the break. We called to speak with a supervisor and were told we would receive a return phone call. Call was not returned.

I have used Midway for other services and have always been pleased with their work and professional manner. Will definitely use them again.

We called them for simple plumbing services. As soon as they were paid they became uncooperative. When doing the estimate, I was given an appointment time. Once they had money, they would not schedule a time to finish the work. Most companies, give you a window of time. Expect to spend the whole day waiting for them to show up and do the work. Because they will tell you a day, but you must be home from 8am to 5 pm. 9 hours! When I called to ask for a time, they asked if I wanted to cancel the service rather than give me an appointment time. Very unprofessional handling of customers. Very pricey.Edit 31 May 2022.I raised my rating 2 stars because of how my complaint was handled. Jeff took my complaint seriously, and appeared genuinely concerned. I would give Ryan, the hands on Plumber 10+ stars. Ryan is great, and a major asset to this company. Thanks Ryan, I hope you see this.

Says they are open 24/7 and they don’t answer. Puts me through to a mailbox that just says u can’t leave a message cause the mailbox is full. They need to update there hours if they are not truly open 24/7 I’ve tried calling at least a dozen times!

Robert Keith came out today. He was on time, friendly with a professional approach. He examined my complaints regarding the plumbing, diagnosed the issue, explained to me in understandable terms and gave me a quote which I found to be reasonable. It shows that Robert Keith knew his trade very well because he completed the work entirely, cleaned the area including the floor and then invited me to test out the work done. I actually tested 3 separate times and all was to my satisfaction. I would certainly be requesting him for any future plumbing issues. A job well done. Thank you Robert Keith.

Midway employs a strange policy in order to over charge: they will not quote work or services on the phone, they offer a free visit by a plumber and once hes in your home the high price is delivered with a heavy pressure to act. Its not ethical.

Midway installed a HALO water Conditioning System and a Navien Tankless Water Heater. Tony did a awesome job and his two apprentance's also did a great job. They kept me informed during the two day process and did a professional install. I would highly reccomend them.

Electrician to run power to new attic ventilator. Tony was prompt and professional. Identified some additional needed repairs which I will have him back to repair once the attic foam removal project is complete. Pricing was reasonable. Good service company.

I am usually happy with Midway but it seems as if they require their technicians to always suggest things to fix. So I am now not sure if I am getting unnecessary work done because of this practice. I recently had an air conditioning maintenance and told I need to replace it. So I am. Then the plumbing maintenance was done the same day and he was suggesting replacing all the values because they were showing signs of corrosion. He came in saying he would be suggesting things before he even looked at anything. I have this maintenance done once a year and no one ever suggested replacing the values. I am now not sure I can trust Midway to tell me the truth. Air conditioning maintenance is done twice a year.

Paul was great - he knew immediately what was wrong with my AC unit and was able to provide the new part on the spot. He was transparent in responding my questions, and didn’t hesitate to check my indoor unit when I asked. He also was happy to get his hands dirty to clean out the drain pipe. Would recommend these guys for all AC related needs.

Just called Midway asking them to come out and do a gas line repair after seeing a FULL PAGE on their website advertising those services, only to hear from the person answering the phone that they have not done that in YEARS.....If this is the attention they give to their advertising, I can't imagine the lack of attention they give to their work in the field.In this day and age.... unbelievable....

This review has been amended as of 8/10/16. I initially had given a one star rating due to a very unfortunate experience I had when one of Midway's technicians came to give me an estimate on my AC unit last month. I had called Midway because I had used them a few years ago to replace an AC unit in my previous home. That install went well and I never had another problem with the unit, so when the AC went out at my new place, Midway was my first call. This time around, however, I did not have a good experience, and to put a long story short, the technician that arrived at my house behaved VERY inappropriately. I did not end up using Midway for the second install because of this experience. The office staff was very courteous and professional when I spoke to them about the incident and cancelled the install, but my $1000 deposit on the unit was still cashed. I have since been contacted by a manager, Kathy, who was very apologetic and helpful. I have been assured that Midway took my complaint seriously and the inappropriate employee I dealt with no longer works there. They are working to refund the deposit as well which I also appreciate. In light of the fact that Midway took this seriously and is no longer sending such a person into people's homes, I have amended my review from one star to three. As I said before, the first time I used them, they did a good job and the unit they installed worked great afterwards. I wish the second time around would have gone as smoothly, but I appreciate the response by management.

We did our annual HVAC service today. Leo and Nevon were wonderful. They told us all that needed to be addressed and what we needed to monitored. They were courteous, insightful, and kind when explaining their assessment. Scott Ingram stopped by and it was good to see how much they really care and keep our system running efficiently. We have been with Midway for over 15 years for a reason - quality, exceptional service and how they treat customers.

I have been using this company for several years, unfortunately I will not be using this group any longer. They are not inexpensive, but in the past they have done good work. Unfortunately, the dispatch cannot follow simple a simple request, no matter what we had agreed upon, they have their own system and can't work well with simple directions like : I can't receive your calls, just send the guy, I'm here. After wasting a day waiting on them, I get told they cant make it...poor effort for a long time paying customer.

I had some outlets that stopped working the Sunday before Thanksgiving, including the stove vent fan. I called 5 electricians and Midway was the only one able to fit me in. They saved the day. Quick work and I appreciated they covered their boots in my house.

In the middle of a remodel. After the counter guys ripped out the sink I had a small leak. I googled a 24 hr plumber and saw their listing.Answering service answer and scheduled an appointment for the very next morning. They called ahead to confirm which was great.Technician Zach shows up. Wore a mask, put on booties to protect the floor and was knowledge and professional. I showed him the 4 valves I needed replaced and gave me a quote and got to work.I then scheduled him to come back to install my sink and a water softener. I know they were not the cheapest plumber out there, but I was not interested in getting more quotes because Zach was great and I have been exhausted with the remodel.Zach did a really solid job in the water softener install. (Ran lines over 50’ so we could put the unit in back vs up front)I scheduled Zach to come back and install 3 sinks the following week.I got a another call ahead, but this time Zach was not going to be able to make it due to a family emergency. They then offered to have Zach come back 2 days later or send another tech. Because I had 3 sinks that needed faucets and didn’t want to wait 48 hrs.Within an hour they had another tech out named Geri. He came in. Did a quick quote and then got to work most of the day on 3 new faucets and redid the drain lines.Out of all the contractors I’ve dealt with so far, these guys have been the best. Sometimes you pay for what you get.

I had Midway come to provide a quote to flush out my water heater. Through our conversation they checked on a pipe/vent stack I had in my kitchen and they fixed my pipe right then and there. The technicians were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Had a brand new AC system installed in July of 2020 they did and outstanding job they are very neat and cleaned everything up when they were done just had Paul back for the second time for my 6 month cleaning if you need a fantastic AC company I would highly recommend this company and ask for Paul he is a super nice guy and knows his line of work they are a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for an they are the best and stand by there work no questions asked

It is so great to have various licensed technicians available within one company. I needed help with an electrical shortout and a plumbing leak at the same time. From the moment I called, I felt I had made the right decision. Marley was very helpful in scheduling both appointments on the day I requested. Follow-up calls were received on the appointment date to let me know exactly when the technicians would be arriving. Both came on time. The electrician , Greg and the plumber, Josh were both very personable and professional. My problems were resolved in a short amount of time. Very responsive to request to send an electrician to get estimate for installing and replacing motion sensor lights. Troy came on a Wednesday and after I accepted the estimate he was back the following Monday to do the job. Troy arrived ahead of the timeframe I was given and completed the job quickly. Troy was very pleasant, explained what he had done l, and did a great job of cleaning up the job site. This was my first encounter with Midway Services and I am very happy and highly recommend them.

Paul my A/C service technician today, did an absolutely outstanding and thorough job. When he arrived, I found him to be a very pleasant and likable person. I could tell by his professionalism and expertise that he loves his job and loves in a very caring way, the customers he so well serves. He was very detailed in answering my questions and in explaining the Advantage Program. If the opportunity lends itself, I will certainly ask for him at the next PM inspection in July or August. GERRY fixed and exterior pipe fitting that was three levels down in the dirt. He was very nice and explained everything to me, even why it was expensive job! I am relieved that it is fixed and our water is good to go in the house and no more leaks!

I just had my annual plumbing maintenance check. Gerard and Sergio arrived in uniform, put booties over their shoes, and were thorough, respectful, and professional. Paul did a great job. He got my air conditioner working again and he took the time to explain some things I can do to keep my AC in good shape going forward. Also, he showed me how to program my thermostat which was above and beyond what he might have been expected to do.

We had water leak around laundry area so I called midway services. It was Saturday, the service technician came and try to find out the damage on the same day. The leak detection technician came out the next day, sunday, to pinpoint the spot. By Monday, Gerard, the technician, fixed the problem which was the hole in the underground pipe. I am happy that they are able to fix the leak in timely manner. They are professional and reliable. I highly recommend midway company.

We have had constant issues with our AC unit at one of our coffee shops. The guy who usually come out has giving us the run around saying it’s been fixed and then it would stop working after a few days. Leo and Nevon came out to my house to fix my broken AC. It was 85 degrees. They came out and were very professional. They asked if I wanted them to wear boot coverings over there shoes , I never had a company do that, they always walk in with dirty boots. they were very professional, nice, and they fixed my air quickly! Chris & Troy with Midway replaced our entire electrical panel & added a generator inlet box. The guys were on time, quick & efficient. Their quote was less than half of the highest quote I received out of 5. Midway was also the only company to suggest upgrading with a 40 space panel (instead of replacing the 30) for future needs before we decided to add the generator inlet box. Shouldhave called them first, but now I know.

I called midway services tonight sometime around 220 am and was told that a technician would call me within 30 minutes to let me know he was on his way. Up front for an emergency call out, you're on the hook for 99 dollars. An hour later I called back, at which time the operator had the tech call me. A half hour later, he showed up and was a nice enough guy.By the time the guy showed up, I had disassembled my air conditioner housing and had done all of his troubleshooting for him. The capacitor was bad, and I had informed the operator of that when I had called a half hour earlier. The tech verified that I was correct, the capacitor was indeed bad. The tech then informs me that it will cost $404 dollars to install a new capacitor. So here's the rub, you can buy a new capacitor for less than 20 bucks. I did all the work and the troubleshooting and they basically wanted to charge me over $500 to install a 20 dollar part.Completely unreasonable cost. I get that they're running a business. But nope.

The technician was on time. Very professional and took the time to explain issues that existed and the options to repair them.He went out of his way to point out other issues that could be dangerous and should be repaired in near future. I would highly recommend this technician, he is definately an asset to your company.

My old AC unit was on its final legs. I called several companies to come check it out but Midway was the only one that was able to come out that same day. They diagnosed the immediate problem and repaired it. Unfortunately several other issues which caused that immediate issue became apparent and it was determined that it would be better off replacing the entire unit. They gave me an excellent quote and even lent me two portable units as they couldn't get it replaced for two days.On the day of installation, they did a professional job on the installation and was very thorough in checking out the entire system to make sure it was working properly. I highly recommend Midway Services.

I had a leaking toilet. Gerald took care of the issue quickly and efficiently. He seems extremely knowledgeable and is very personable.

I rent a home in Clearwater. The tankless gas hot water heater died and needed to be replaced. Thank goodness our landlord agreed to replace it for another of the same unit. They hired Midway Services to do the job.Midway sent out a plumber, nice enough guy. He takes the old one down and puts the new one up. No fuss, no hassle, is done in a couple hours and we have hot water again, hallelujah!Move forward a few days, inspector comes out, reviews the hot water heater (which is installed outside on the wall of the house) and comes to the conclusion that everything looks great except for the fact that the gas line that runs from the gas meter to the hot water heater needs to be grounded and it currently is not. He tells me that he has to fail the inspection and have them come back out to put a ground on the gas line.No problem! This should be easy, right? WRONG! Midway is now going to send out an electrician to ground the gas line. I'm told that I don't need to be here for them to do it, except the guy gets here and ends up leaving because as he tells it, he needs to get in the house. The only part of the heater that's in the house is the control panel that sets the temperature. Everything else is outside. So Midway calls me and tells me the electrician needs to get in the house. Ridiculous I say to the dispatcher who has no clue about any of it. So we schedule for me to be here the next day when the electrician comes back.Electrician comes back, still insisting he needs to get in the house. I let him in, show him the panel and tell him it's the only part in the house. He says, Oh, it's outside?! Yes, I've only told everyone I've spoken to that several times not to mention that the guy that installed it was from the same company!So, we walk out to the water heater and I show him where the inspector said that the ground needed to go, on the gas line from the gas meter to the water heater. I am unable to watch him putting the ground on, but I figure he's an electrician, he should know what he's doing and also I was working from home. I ended up having to leave around the same time he finished so I didn't even see the completed work.A couple days later an inspector comes out. This is my first time looking at what the electrician did. First and foremost, he attached the ground to the wrong gas line. He put it on the line coming up from the ground into the meter. Next, instead of attaching it to the grounded pole that is right there in front of the water heater, he had drilled holes in the house and run copper piping from the gas line, about 10 feet around a corner to the electric meter ground. Infuriating.So, the inspector fails it again and after explaining the situation to my landlord she called the company and they promised to send someone out to fix it the same day. Whomever it was that came out to fix it didn't knock on the door or anything, they just moved where the copper ground was attached to the proper place.Cut to this past Monday where I had been told again that I didn't need to be there, this time for the inspector to come out. Turns out, he won't go into the gate without direct permission from the tenant or house owner. So Midway calls me again to reschedule for him to come out the next day with me there this time. They are supposed to call me back to let me know what part of the day the inspector would be coming. They never call me back. The next morning I try to call them starting at just after 7:00 am when they open and it only ever goes to voicemail, but the mailbox is full so I can't even leave a message. After about 2 hours of this, I call in to work because I don't want to miss the inspector and I don't know when he's supposed to be there. I get in touch with the city of Clearwater only to find out that the inspector had gotten permission from my landlord and came back out the day before and everything was completed. Midway did call me later that day stating they saw they had a missed call from my number, but the damage had been done.

On Fathers Day I accidentally broke the pipe to our water softener. I contacted Midway and spoke to a polite, professional young lady. She was very helpful in scheduling a technician to come out to my house. She provided expectations and process.Jeff the technician showed up a few hours later. He called prior to coming to let me know he was on his way. Upon arrival Jeff advised me prior to repairing the pipe he would provide me with an estimate. He completed the estimate timely. The price was a little high for what had to be done but that’s not Jeff’s fault. Jeff completed the job quickly and his work was done with quality. Jeff was very professional and explained what needed to be done. I have Midway’s number saved for emergency use. Thank You for your service.

I had Midway Services perform major electrical work on outlets in several rooms in the house. They installed new gfci outlets throughout the kitchen and one in the bathroom.The old wiring was incorrectly installed and some wires were burnt. Three electricians worked for several hours to complete the needed corrections. They were Kevin, Troy, and Gannon. They were competent and polite. They cleaned up afterwards. I am quite pleased with the work.

Signed up for their discount club for 2 properties. Took them 3 weeks to run my card, finally ran it and i called to scheduled the first of the 2 check ups on ac and plumbing. Asked for sept 28th after 1pm. Was told they only schedule 8-5. Even this far in advance can't give a more narrowerd down time frame to maintenance both properties for both a/c and plumbing per the contract. Never received anything in writing stating we even have a membership. I will cancel both memberships if I don't hear back from this company. Do believe they are scamming people.EDIT: I received a call from Alma and she was very courteous and was able to meet the schedule that I had requested initially. She was very helpful. I will followup this review when I they have completed the service.

I dont want to give even one star to these people. Very rude representatives. Manner less! We get very high water bill every month. Dont understand why! There are apparently no leaks in the house. Just called them to check if there is any error in the bill. I asked the representative, how is the multiplier in the bill calculated. She doesnt know anything about it. I understand this coz they dont have to be the engineers to serve the customers. She was very rude in talking to me for no reason..may be because of asking more questions..? Its just not her, my roommate called up to address this issue, surprisingly she also complained that the representative was rude. ****0/5****

First timing working with Midway Services for my HVAC tune up at my Seminole home. Had an absolutely amazing experience with the team they sent out. Paul, Devon, and Scott where amazing. They took their time to make sure everything was double checked and took the time to address all of my concerns. I would highly recommend using this company for any of your HVAC needs.

Jason did a fine job on the service but when I saw the bill I was surprised to find out that it was substantially more than I was quoted over the phone when I book the appointment. I said something to Jason about it and he was willing to adjust the price and that was a good thing. Next time, I will get a more defined estimate for the price of the services I want and if Midway Services steps up and sharpens their pencil substantially they will get my return business.

Because of my physical disabilities I had need for multiple hand rails in each bathroom as well as high-rise toilets, special toilet seats and a bathroom cabinet designed especially for my needs. Dennis and his team, including Donny, made sure that each bathroom completely met my wants and needs and I am very thankful for all the work he has directed for my benefit. Thank You!

I read several bad reviews, and with very little response from the owner. Here is another BAD review. We called Midway a year ago. We needed some service done. The tech came did the basics, open the panel, look around. Said all was fine, needed the drain line cleared. Once done laid out the service deal. For coming out and opening your panel, walking out and looking at your condensor that $600 amd something (about an hour in total) but if you sign up with our service plan we will reduce that to $475. We did take the lessor charge, and took them up on the service. That was a joke, someone pretty much showed up and did nothing. I became irrate after looking at my systems and complained. They sent a tech out 8/4/17. No charge, and I thought maybe they are correcting their mistakes. Today, 8/14/17 I come home to see water all over my wood floor near the unit. I called Midway and spoke with their after hours department. They stated they understood my frustration and but all their techs were busy for the evening. I now have damage to my floors and a system that leaks water.This is just another BAD a/c company, claiming their greatness but delivering nothing but a scam. My unit is not old, and I never was advised to replace.Beware, they are simply multiple teared business looking to take a buck and not delivering on their work

UNPROFESSIONAL e IRRESPONSIBLE: they made the Landlord travel to the apartment and they did not show up wasting 3 hrs of his time.Then, they gave the tenant 2 different appointment times to finally call late in the afternoon to let her know that the “technician was sick”, and once more, nobody would show up.This company has proven total disregard for both people and the property because the tenant lost half a day of work to wait for their arrival, and knowing that there was a leak problem they notified us that nobody would show up late in the afternoon when it is impossible to find somebody else, unbelievable and totally unacceptable. .THERE ARE PLENTY OF GOOD PLUMBERS OUT THERE, STEER AWAY FROM THIS COMPANy.

Replaced shutoff valves for bathroom sink and toilet. Also replaced faucet. Very pleased with the response time and the technician- Gerald. Very courteous, clean and efficient. He was a pleasure to do business with. Would highly recommend him and the company.

I had a very good experience with Midway Services. A pipe had burst underneath the foundation of my home. In trying to get a handle on all that was needed, I called about 10 or so plumbers in the area. Some neither answered my calls nor returned my message, others never showed, and still others showed but tried to up-sell me on other things or showed a lack of concern for my particular situation. Mike from Midway, on the other hand, took his time in assessing the situation. While his estimate was in the middle ground, I could see he wanted to do his best to not disturb my home (even though the job required running all-new plumbing throughout). He also seemed to have a firmer hand on what the job called for. It seems my house was a particularly difficult case, as all the plumbers told me, but Mike went further to figure out the best plan with the least damage to the home. Mike came in and completed the four-day job as he planned. He also been very responsive after the fact, answering my calls and making himself available for any other questions I imposed. In all, I definitely recommend Midway for your plumbing needs.

We were renovating two bathrooms in the house and called Midway Services. Stuart D. from Midway was our service technician. Stuart came exactly when Midway told us he would come, assessed the renovation project, and we agreed upon the price. The work involved taking up the existing two bathroom floors, replacing both with tile floors. In addition, the project involved installing a new vanity, sink, faucets, replacing a vanity top (custom made through Midway) in the second bathroom with another new sink, replacing the toilet, cutting the mirrors, etc. Stuart priced the project and arranged a schedule so the tile and plumbing jobs were coordinated. Stuart did all the plumbing work himself and did a wonderful job! He kept to the schedule he promised and all the work was first rate! Last, but not least he kept asking us if we were happy and completed all the special requests we asked for. We would definitely recommend him and Midway to anyone looking to do renovations and we are very happy with the new look of both bathrooms!

I called Midway to upgrade my electrical box because I read a lot of great reviews for their electricians Kevin and Jeff. They did not disappoint! They showed up right on time and did the job they were hired for and also took the time to go above and beyond, tracking down and eliminating unsightly wires to boxes that are no longer used, among other things. They moved everything, which was a huge job, and left it looking fantastic, including patching the holes in the siding. Both guys were very polite and even completely cleaned up behind themselves. Highly recommend these guys!

The plumber was very rude over the phone!I called them to come over, and give us an estimate on a hydro jetting. The representative was great and very professional then when the technician/plumber called on his way he had an atitude saying if my husband wouldn’t be there he wouldn’t come and give me a quote on the service, and even more yelled at me “hold on… let me talk” never had a experience like that with any service providers.Very poor quality of people working on the field!!!

I called Midway on Monday morning because my tankless water heater had quit working. They led me to believe they would be sending out a repairman (with possible replacement unit on truck) that afternoon.Instead, they sent a salesman (Bill B) who tried to sell me new water valves, a water softener system, and (eventually) a new tankless water heater. I had to insist that he give me a repair price, so he gave me a repair price that was nearly as much as the replacement price for the least expensive model.The price for the unit was quoted at 105/month for 60 months. I asked how much it was, not how much the payments were, and he said $3795 (inclusive) but that the monthly rate was interest free. I had to point out that $105 * 60 = $6300 and didn't sound interest-free to me. He insisted it was interest free. (Later he said perhaps he meant 36 months)I wanted to get reviews online for the model he suggested, and he kept avoiding the question of the model.tt's a StiebelWhich oneA Steibel-BAll of these online have numbers -- which one?We just call it a BI need the number (Eventually the number turned out to be twelve, and I had to insist he put the model # on the written estimate.There is a reason they were reluctant. I am installing the same model for $1275 with another provider, saving more than $2500.00. (FAST of FL).To top it off, he called the next day and asked which option I was taking. I told him I was going with another company and he very snarkily said well thanks for calling then. I also paid a $39.00 service call for this privilege.

Great company! Excellent A/C technician. Was having trouble with my overflow line getting plugged up and the float switch turning off the system. A previous service call from another company couldn’t get it unplugged and told me I need to put in a completely new overflow line. Leo, my technician from Midway services, cleared up my problem in about 15 minutes.

When I first called Midway, the person who took my info was very friendly and told me I was going to receive a phone call on when the service tech would arrive. I received the call and the tech arrived on time. I was told he would show up at around 4:45 pm but when I looked at my watch when he arrived it was exactly 4:13 pm. Jose was the service tech and he went to assess the leak just by putting his hand deep in the ground and discovered that it eas a pinhole and not a burst pipe that broke. Amazing! He also has a good sense of humor when he interacted with this customer. He sure has excellent job knowledge as he was able to fix the first leak. Then he went to fix the leak on the knob of shower. He was so calm and professional while he was working on the shower knob. I definitely could not fix the shower knob myself as I would not have the patience to fix it. It eas truly a very difficult repair. Thumbs up to all who I spoke with and to Jose for being a professional as he is. I definitely would recommend Midway Services since my wife's co-worker recommended them to us. Well done Midway for a job well done.

Midway literally saved the lives of my family and I. We moved to Florida one year ago and were greeted with Tropical Storm Debbie which destroyed our air conditioning, damaged our doors, our roof and fence. During the storm our dishwasher and garbage disposal also died. We found Midway Services on Angie's List as one of the highest quality and dependable contractors in the St. Petersburg area. We called them to our rescue. They came immediately and gave us the highest quality, most dedicated, and trustworthy service we've ever received in any other state. It was then that Mr. Donnie Wolf introduced himself and the rest of his team to complete dedication throughout all repairs.Black mold was found in our air conditioning units and ducts. Mr. Wolf brought in a microbiologist to assist with the diagnostics of the mold and treatment. The mold was caustic and a critical danger to our lungs. Midway brought in another team to clean out the mold throughout our house. Always making us their first priority, the team worked day and night over weeks to make sure we were all safe. At times members of the team sacrificed their own health to assure that we had the best service, the cleanest air to breath, and the safest environment. Senior Citizens BEWARE! Midway over charged 85 yr. old woman for sewer line replacement and left walkway broken and unstable. They drove their machine over it repeatedly which caused the stones to sink well below the ground level creating a roller coaster effect. They refused to bring in dirt to raise the walkway and return it to the level it was. Salesman said he asked customer if there were any other family members who needed to be involved before signing the contract. NOT true! That conversation did not happen! Salesman said he told customer they wouldn't be responsible for broken stones...again, NOT true. Conversation did not occur. The area in which they worked is much worse than before they came. They gave $100 to buy new stones, but that doesn't solve the problem of the area being so much lower than ground level and uneven. We will have to remove the stones, get fill dirt, level it out and replace stones at our labor and expense. We will never use or recommend this company!

I called Midway Services to resolve a few plumbing issues at my In-laws house in Seminole. My father-in-law had used them in the past and was very satisfied with the results. Charlene was the representative that received my initial call and was very polite and most helpful in getting us on the schedule. She also directed me to their website to check for any possible discounts. Gerard (plumber) showed up shortly after I received a call that we should expect him within the hour. After showing him the three issues (clogged tub drain, messed up bathtub spout, and loose toilet) he gave us a reasonable quote to complete the work. I mentioned that my father-in-law was a veteran and he immediately adjusted the price with a 10% discount. Gerard worked non-stop until all of the work was completed. Every time he entered the house he put on disposable shoe covers to avoid tracking anything in (or maybe to protect his shoes from the dirty carpet, lol). Either way, it was unexpected and a favorable reflection of his professionalism. In the end, father-in-law and I were very happy with the work he performed. Gerard is an excellent representative of Midway Services and we’ll definitely ask for him to be sent if we have any plumbing problems in the future.

I just moved to a new house and I'm new to the area. My garbage disposal broke. They came promptly and were very professional. Found out there was broken glass in the disposal. Cleaned it out and showed me how to reset it next time myself. Great service and informative. Highly recommend.

We called before lunch, faucet was installed shortly after lunch. Looks and functions so much better. Thank you Midway and Gerald.

The team was great to work with. The job was a full scrape/clean out of the main drain under our slab foundation, out to the clean out outside the front of the house, including a crack repair about eight feet from the house. It took most of a day, which they told us in advance was a best case. They kept us up to date during the work, and were very clean and professional. It was dirty, not-inexpensive work, but at the end, I didn't have any buyer's remorse for doing it. Plumbing is clear/obstruction-free, and we have had no recurrence of the issues we'd been having (clogs, backups and strange odors).

At first I thought the service was great but when I looked closer at the job I was disappointed. First, I found that the cost was too high but that is my bad. Total scam artists. They refuse to send details and when you over pay they conveniently lose information. Avoid this company at all cost. They are a third party company anyway and probably charge more than FPL.

Late last night, I realized that my A/C was making a strange noise when the interior unit would shut off. When I walked past our induction vent, where the filter was, I could feel cold air coming out. I knew something was wrong since that's not supposed to happen. I quickly went outside to where the outside unit was. Strangely, the fan was still running even though at this point, the interior unit had been off for a few minutes. After about an half hour of seeing if I could diagnose the issue, I decided to shut off breaker to the ac unit and look for an ac repair company in the morning.Morning comes. I'm searching for a repair company but there are a ton in St. Pete. I wasnt sure who to go with but after glancing at my thermostat, I noticed that it was about 83 degrees inside. On the corner of the thermostat, I saw Midway services and their number. I decided to call them and was told that someone would call me back before close today. About 5 minutes later, a dispatcher called me back and said that Mike would be stopping by my home in the next hour.About 30 minutes later, Mike arrived. Very nice guy. I could tell that he was a hard worker but the thing I noticed with techs in general is, they may have the ability to fix the problem but they usually spend a long time diagnosing the problem and then spend more time being a sales person. I personally work in sales. I HATE sales people in general because I dont want to be sold to. Instead, help educate me. Tell me what you can offer and how it enriches my life.Anyhow, Mike and I walked over to the outside unit and I told him what the problem was. He listened. Because he was listening, he was able to diagnose the issue in less than a minute. He then explained what broke which was the relay contact controller. In Florida, those things can wear down. Ours was about 10 years old. Mike was able to get me a price on the unit, was able to install it and get my ac up and running in less than an hour.As I just mentioned, my ac unit is 10 years old. I'll be in need of a new efficient ac unit soon and because of the service I recieved today, I'll be contacting Midway. Thank you!!

Ken and Jeff did a great job upgrading my electric panel. They were professional and did the work very well!

I had them come out to give me an estimate to clean my air ducts. Ducts were not even big or covering much space. They sent Shane over who seemed like a nice guy . I get the estimate and it's for $1250!!! For maybe 16 total feet of vent in my condo... the air handler is at the center of the hall so not much vent space needed. Pretty sure they came over assumed since I had a nice place they could take advantage of me. If you enjoy being ripped off then by all means use this place! No way will I ever call this place again. Refer to the pictures that I post of the estimate and you will throw up!!! The photo I post I their pictures is as you can clearly see duct clean for 1250 in a condo.... Get other estimates ! If it was all possible to give this place negative stars I would. They came over to my mothers house for a leak and didn’t look at a single thing. Just instantly started going into selling her on a 800/1500 dollar option to “find” the leak and 12,000 dollar repiping of the entire house. Yes 12k, and that was essentially the only option since they said the other 2 were pointless.How dare you walking into a dying woman’s home and do that. I’m glad they say get a second opinion. I had another local plumber lined up as well. He was in and out in about the same time frame it took them to try to use their used car salesmen pitch on my mother and the leak was found and fixed for $200.You all should seriously be ashamed of yourselves.I couldn’t recommend harder that NO PERSON SHOULD USE THIS COMPANY.

Sam, Midwsy Service tech, just completed scheduled maintenance on our AC unit, plus adding a new thermostat.He could not have been more professional or knowledgeable. Terrance was my technician and did an excellent job fixing the issue. My plumbing leak was in my yard near a massive oak tree and required removing large chunks of roots to access the leaking area. I was very happy with his patience and the quality of the repair.

I chose Midway after obtaining quotes from three contractors for the work of lateral sewer line replacement. Not only is this an expensive job, but it could be a lifetime of headaches if done incorrectly. I chose Midway because the estimator (Zach) was professional and knowledgeable, because their pricing was in the ballpark and because their warranty exceeded that of the other contractors. Plus they had more positive reviews than their competitors. The work was completed by Tony and Isaac. It was completed on schedule and at budget. I could not be happier with both the process and the outcome. They were meticulous, they were very clearly knowledgeable and experienced, and it it was clear that wanted to do the best possible job that led to the best possible outcome.I am a very satisfied customer and I would not be hesitant to recommend Midway to others for this type of work.

These people are the top notch best AC people around. I'm aware they do other stuff, but AC is the only service I've used them for so far... and here in Florida AC is a must!They came (Shane) the very next day, first thing in the morning and told me what was wrong, what was needed and how much it would cost. Jose repaired one toilet, installed a new toilet, installed a new garbage disposal and fixed a leak in the sink drain. Most of this was completed on the same day.Jose was prompt, knowledgeable and explained the needed repairs clearly with excellent customer service. He is an asset to Midway and I won’t hesitate to call them again or recommend to others. Pricing was fair and slightly lower then other plumbing companies that quoted the same services.

Midway Services sent a reliable and professional technician. Jeffrey immediately went to work upon arrival to find the source of the electrical issue and rectify. He went above and beyond to fix the initial issue, as well as, look at other issues I asked about. He even coiled up my extension cords once they were no longer needed and left the area cleaner than before. I've never seen that from an electrician and appreciated his efforts. place is ridiculous , had a guy come to install my dishwasher, I removed the old and had the brand new one sitting there just needed the water hooked up and electric and they quoted me $700 WOW. LOL. GOOD DEAL THE DISHWASHER WAS 800!! needless to say won't be calling them for anything again!!!! way to run a business

I paid 11K for a new AC. Midway Services destroyed my hardwood floors(reimbursed), charged me 2K for a wire I didn't need (reimbursed), spilled sealant all over our carpets(reimbursed), and improperly installed the AC causing an air leak in the Plenum, leading to massive amounts of mold and water damage (Not reimbursed), improperly installed AC Unit causing an electrical fire(reimbursed).The installer they sent for the 11K job was the managers brother who was a car salesman just 2 months earlier.Midway has came back out to fix the fire damage and the mold water damage from the Plenum Leak. However, they never fixed or resealed the plenum. The just covered up the exterior so the mold wouldn't reappear for several months. Today the mold is back with a vengeance and behind the scenes this whole time water has been condensing around the numerous leaks causing massive damages to our home.

I called Midway services to assist us with the electrical on the install of an exhaust fan. Normally this would be a pretty simple job but there was some crazy wiring going on up in my roof. Midway agreed to send someone out next day and to give us an estimate from the job. I got a call about an a half an hour later and the dispatcher said someone would be available in about 30 minutes. Kevin arrived on time and evaluating the job and gave me two options for repair. Bottom line he installed a junction box and left us with a simple hook up ensuring that it was all Going to work safely. He was polite and followed Covid safety precautions and completed the job in a timely manner I gave him five stars

My experience with Midway Services yesterday (Feb 13, 2019) was just GREAT! My service technician TIM did my PLUMBING INSPECTION and he gave some very good advice and my plumbing passed. The next technician that came to my house was SAM who did a very thorough AC INSPECTION and as a former teacher I asked a lot of questions and he patiently explained what and why he was doing certain things to my AC unit. If I was his teacher I would have given him an A+. The efficient OFFICE STAFF at MIDWAY SERVICES should be commended for arranging these two services on the same morning to fit my busy schedule. I had a plumbing maintenance check done by Gerald Hodge. He was professional, courteous, informative and friendly. I decided to replace my kitchen sink and faucet that same day. He went to get the sink and faucet and had installed it perfectly in the next few hours! I love my new sink. He also fixed the bathroom sink. Will be keeping his card on file for any future plumbing issues. He was also fully vaccinated however wore a mask all the time. In this day and age one can never be too careful. Tentative review-had them out twice-one to repipe the entire house and once to fix the range hood. Both times someone had to come back again to fix things done wrong the first time. Each time the second tech said oh yeah, those guys didn't know what they were doing. Please send someone who knows what they're doing the first time!

This morning, I found that my water heater was leaking. I called Midway, and they arrived within an hour. I am self-isolating because I’m 80 years old, so their technician Terry and I did all of our communication by phone. He found I needed a new water heater, we agreed on a price, he had a supplier deliver one, and Terry installed it immediately. Terry was very nice and very professional. What a relief! Nevon was the technician who came out on a Sunday to diagnose the issue and then came out the next day with the part and got my ac up and running again. He was very pleasant and informative and an upmost professional. I would do business with midway again and would be glad to have the same technician come out. Would give 6 stars if I was able to.

I was charged $382 by Midway Services to troubleshoot a breaker box. He was here less than15 minutes and told me to call Duke Power to replace bad transformer. While I understand that a service call fee is reasonable, $382 is outrageous. I would never recommend calling them for service again.

We had a serious problem with the wiring from our condo to the roof top ac condenser. Kevin and Troy couldn't use the existing conduit to install new wiring. Midway always stands by their service. Have had their maintenance contract for a few years now and it is a good deal on what they check and what the price is. would recommend it to keep your house or condo AC and plumbing as it should be. Bought a brand new American Standard in 2015, was told it was a better unit, not the cheapest. SO far I’ve had to replace the coil $1600 and now another part caused a leak which cost me another $400. I spoke with a manager who has no explanations or assistance regarding a fairly new unit which unfortunately I purchased from Midway. One technician botched replacing the coil so badly another technician had to come work for 3 hours to fix what was (not) done. NOT a good experience, shop around.

Every technician and service advisor we have worked with at Midway have been super friendly, helpful, and respectful. 5 stars to John, Gerald, Almando, and Chris, including others who worked alongside them. Work performed is install of mini split units, plumbing, and Electrical. Cost is a bit high. Headache is a lot less as compared to dealing with home warranty.

I've used Midway for a good number of years and have always been satisfied with their service. Yesterday I had called for a plumber to replace a 2 gallon thermal expansion tank for my water heater. According to the book of prices the plumber carries, this part which cost $45.00 at Home Depot was priced at $750.00 for Midway to replace it. In speaking with Tom who did lower the price to $450.00 stated in part it was due to a single item, storage in the truck cost, etc. which I don't completely understand but left with the feeling that this was a price gouging and I can no longer trust Midway to provide a reasonable price.

I set up a request online for a water softener repair,stating that was the service I required. I was impressed with the speed in which I was contacted to set up an a actual appointment, and they ended up coming out that afternoon. What I wasn't impressed with was that they apparently don't work on water softeners with those particular heads. Not sure why I wasn't asked specifically what brand or type I had to save us both 3 hours out of our day....maybe a more detailed explanation of what you do and do not work on included in your website or additional questions before setting up an appointment would be judicious.

Nevon Hinds was excellent. Knew what needed to be done and very professional. I will request him again. His field supervisor, Scott Ingram, also showed up and equally professional. I already passed along a recommendation of them to a friend who will use them.

Greg and Jeff came to install track lighting in my home. They did a great job. Very clean and nice finished product. Turned out exactly as I had hoped.

If I could give them one star, I would. I called two days in advance to schedule an electrician to replace two outlets in my home. I was provided an 8AM-12PM time slot for the technician to arrive. At 11AM, I called Midway Services to receive a status update on the electrician. Dispatch called me back and informed me the technician was still on his first call and would not make it to my home by noon.TWO ISSUES: 1.) I had to call Midway for an update on this SCHEDULED appointment and 2.) It is completely unacceptable to provide a time slot and have your customers wait (most of whom have weekday jobs) for a technician who may or may not visit during the provided time frame.If I were you, I'd go with another company who can guarantee first call appointments. Do not waste your time with Midway.

Michael was the plumber sent to install two toilets, two shower heads and two grip bars. He was friendly, efficient and did superb work. He also returned a few days later to attached the second grab bar. The original one was not rough finish as I requested. Kudos to Michael.

Called Midway Services for a simple job. Hook up a Shower valve and they wanted $560...I called a handyman that did it in 5 minutes for $20.

Paul was very detailed, knowledge, personable, he knew what he was doing, and explained everything so I could understand. Would recommend him to anyone needing service.

Electricians Greg and Kevin along with plumber Gerald did a huge amount of electric and plumbing upgrades, including meter and meter box, all new up to code rewiring, breaker box and relabeling, installation of a tankless water heater and all the work associated with these upgrades. All three were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and conscientious of us and our home. Would definitely recommend your company specifically with these three employees for myself, friends and family. A plus review!

OMG! These plumbers are totally AWESOME! BIG job today...I had Terry, Noah and Alex here for most all of today. A new kitchen drain line to replace the one that was probably here since the home was put on this foundation in '74, new hangers, a new clean out access point very accessible, and then they also installed my purchased new Ruvati workstation sink, my purchased new high arch faucet, and a dish soap dispenser, and new undersink plumbing.These guys were friendly, personable, courteous and professional. What more can you possibly ask for? Exceptional work done right the first time. Cleaned up and took away all the old debris. Didn't mind me yakking and asking questions. They did a beautiful job, worth EVERY PENNY! I wouldn't worry about hiring this company again, because I got a top-notch result. I am beyond happy and so pleased with the work done.Oh, the support staff is great, too. I was told yesterday they would arrive between 8:30 and 9...and, I got a call just before 8 telling me there was a plumber's meeting and there would be a slight delay til the meeting was done. I was really appreciative of the respect I was given as a customer that I got a call and a heads-up. Another professionally handled issue that not every business provides.Anyone that knows me or has read my reviews knows I leave honest reviews. Hot water heater needed to be replaced. Technician (Jose) was thorough, informed, professional and on time.

I called in late morning to have a number of outlets in my master bedroom and bath checked as they were suddenly not working. By early afternoon an electrician (Andrew) came and within an hour or so, difficulties were resolved. Great service and professionalism! Thank you Midway Services!

Excellent service, prompt, courteous. Heater died on the eve of the coldest day in 30 years. Midway installed a temporary fan motor to get us though until the correct part arrived. Price was reasonable as well.

Had a leak develop late night before, called Midway at 7am and Gerard was here by 11, the above ceiling ice maker line leak was identified and repaired as well as two toilets tanks rebuilt by 2pm. Gerard was courteous, professional and informative..he also wore booties in the house which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Midway and Gerard!

Eric Alabiso was great!! Very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much having him come out and help us with our AC emergency. We would highly recommend Midway to anyone needing emergency service or regular AC maintenance.

Terry came out today and fixed the problem with my toilet. He's done other work in my condo and he is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and very professional. I'm leaving my original review, because I want you to know how far this company went to make me a happy customer.First, they were concerned enough to contact me about my review. I wish more companies did this!Second, after talking with their manager, they were able to give me a partial discount on the original services.Third, I asked them to come out to give me an estimate on completing the rest of the plumbing work I needed done. When they again came in too high, with a little more discussion, we were able to reach an acceptable (to me) cost for completing the job I wanted done.Fourth, this company has some of the nicest and most competent techs I've met with almost any company.So, over all, I would recommend this company to anyone, with the caution to not accept the first estimate.I called this company because I had a leak in a hot water line, and they agreed to come out to give me an estimate at no charge. I should have known there was a catch to that.The service tech arrived on time, was friendly and super helpful. He gave me an estimate that I assumed was for the whole length of the pipe. Don't ever assume anything with this company. What I got was a patch of about three feet long change over from galvanized pipe to cpvc. Took him all of about an hour to do the actual repair. Got me financed for the amount of the estimate of $550. Guess you would call me not so smart to go ahead with the repairs. Really! $550 for an hour's worth of work. No itemized bill. No way to question the charges.Had they dealt honestly with me (no itemized bill is dishonest in my opinion), I have other repairs that need to be done that I would have had them do. Won't ever deal with them again! These folks are just plain dishonest and out for the money.They got one star, because the tech was very friendly and helpful as far as he could be.

Greg repaired a circuit breaker for my house. He was professional, courtesy and provided excellent customer service.

Paul was amazing! He showed up when he said he would, he was polite and communicative. He diagnosed my heating issue and fixed it very quickly. He made sure even after the repair that everything was working properly. He was also extremely professional. The service tech, Paul was excellent! I appreciate his thorough work and attention to detail.Unfortunately, the equipment recommended to me, by Midway Services, has given me problems in the short 2 years after it was installed.I requested quite a few service calls due to the AC not cooling properly. After phone calls and service calls, the problem was eventually found. The evaporator coil needed to be replaced for an AC unit less than 2 years old. When replaced the tech, NOT PAUL, cracked the drain pan during installation.Paul came out and replaced the drain pan and ensured all was operating properly.Thank you, Paul!

I highly recommend this company. They are professional and knowledgeable. I have dealt with many contractors and Midway is more reliable and their follow-up exceeds other contractors. If I had a question or change order they were prompt in responding and provided advice when needed. Very happy with their service. One note for any remodel project - the timeline is never what you will see on TV and usually exceeds their estimates. You need to be patient with any company if you want the best quality in the craftsmanship.

Geri was extremely knowledgeable, honest and helpful. He was the third plumber(3 diff companies) to come assess my issue. Without a doubt, he fixed my plumbing efficiently. Also, he was the only plumber to clean behind his self. I highly recommend.

Charged an elderly woman $1400 to install a 30 gallon short water heater, and then didn't even install it properly, it was leaking significantly after. Any other reputable plumber would have charged $200-$400. Midway services preys on elderly people who do not know any better and they do garbage work. I know many people that have been scammed by these con artists. I hope they get shut down and go out ot of business soon.

I had been calling electricians for 2 weeks trying to get one to complete some minor electrical work required for my homeowner's insurance. Every electrician I called was scheduling a month in advance, which was far too long for me to wait.I finally stumbled upon Midway Services after contacting 6 other companies. Midway was the first company to immediately respond, and the first to say they would be able to send someone within 24 hours. It was almost unbelievable!Chris showed up the next morning. He read my 4-point inspection report, then gave me a quote. As soon as I agreed he got to work. I used Midway because I needed work done on my home that required a plumber and electrician to work together and I thought coordinating them would be easier - it was. David, the plumber, was the best. Not only extremely knowledgeable, but a great guy also. The same can be said about Joe the electrician. Midway is a little more expensive than some other companies, but their customer service makes up for it in my opinion. They always answer the phone and seem sincere in trying to keep a happy customer.

We had plumbing service. Gerald Hodge was the technician. Very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I would highly recommend him for your plumbing issues! We had a variety of issues so it was nice to have a technician that understood and could service all issues.

I had a electrical problem in my trailer. Chris came out diagnosed the problem as a main supply line wires have corroded and need replacing. I was worried because of the storm that we just had that it would take weeks but but in just a few days Chris returned with all the parts and permit and a fellow worker named Even to complete the repairs. Both men were very professional and qualified to do the repairs. I would recommend Chris and Even for future repairs.

I’m a midway services yearly member. The technicians I’ve dealt with have been great.Unfortunately, dispatch has been very rude and unorganized. I cannot recommend dealing with Elma. Twice, technicians have missed the window, and with a 4 hour window not one technician could make it out. Upon calling back, I missed the call. 9 minutes later I return the call and the dispatch said because I did not answer she decided to send them elsewhere because they can’t wait.It’s okay for paying customers to wait around and have no one show up but technicians just can’t show up on time and are not okay to wait.My experience has been subpar. Again, technicians are great, dispatch has been rude

Had a Tru tankless water heater installed there employees started the day early and on time. They ran new electric wires removed my old 50gal tank heater and did a wonderful professional job and worked through lunch the get my hot water flowing. I would definitely recommend this company if you want a no hassle professional job

I am very pleased with the service. I had 2 porch lights and a motion detector light installed outside. Vladimir Blank did an excellent job. It was very hot but he was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

I called to have my shower faucet checked out was told it needed anew cartridge. Cartridge was replaced for $200.00. Ok I guess but seems high. Edit. I received a call today from Cathy at Midway Services ana we discussed a few things and some adjustments were made and I have amended my review to reflect a better opinion. After the discussion I better understand how things are done and can appreciate their side of the business.. I will not hesitate to call them in the future.

Midway Services re-piped our 4 bedroom 3 bath house after we experienced water leaks in the slab. It was a major job and took 4 days to complete. Midway is the most professional company company we have ever contracted with. They used top notch materials and the crew of 6 were aces. They covered walkways in the house every morning and removed the covers every evening. There was lots of going in and out, but you hardly ever heard a door open or shut. Attention to small details was excellent. Nice going Josh and guys.

Thieves. Proposed $2500 for a 2 hour job. They delayed getting a proposal to me for almost 2 hours in an emergency situation when all I wanted was a time and material job to begin with. Worker was incompetent. Office was incompetent. Flat rate quotes are BS. I hire plumbers almost daily and decided to try Midway for a job. This will never happen again and I am telling EVERYBODY I come in contact with about this absurdity.Do not hire this company unless you really want to get ripped off.Good luck Midway, you're gonna need it.

I was having difficulty with air quality in my home. Allergies and congestion was an everyday occurrence for me. Mid Way services installed a new air system with uv and a halo light. It has been a week. My congestion and allergies have subsided. Thank you to Cory and Sean, the sales team , and Alejandro, Antonio, Ben and Jordan the install team. A great team.

Midway Services was called to correct a wiring issue that we had been unaware of, which could have caused a fire in our home! Andrew promptly arrived and replaced the wiring necessary to bring this back up to code. The repair was done efficiently and correctly. Andrew was very kind, professional, explained each step he was making, and made sure everything was neat and tidy when he left. We are very happy to give an excellent review to Midway Services for an exceptional job!

I didnt even get the apt.yet and was already dissatisfied. I was told the guy will call before my apt. at 8:30. At 7:04 the dispatcher tried calling a few times. I called back at 7:09 and told me they will be there before 12 now because he couldn't get a hold of me. Wow my apt wasnt till 8:30 why are u calling at 7 and where else would I be knowing I had an apt. Couldnt get a hold of me in 4 mins.So I decided with Matt's attitude and having the experience started like that...till take my business elsewhere.

To insert a light was pretty costly decided not to do it but I had a few other questions the gentleman answered professionally and is having another electrician from the company give me a price on some other work. Other than the price the gentleman was very nice.

I am sorry that Midway does not do weekend service calls any more; it seems that is when the HVAC goes out. Once Monday came around, Eric did a great job of taking care of the problem. I was especially happy that he communicated well with me and did exactly what he said he would do.
