I had water in my water heater pan (new water heater!) so called Fast of Florida to find the cause of the leak and fix it. They scheduled appointment fast. My technician Jasil (JP) was very professional, located the cause of the leak very fast, fixed it and took time to ensure that it’s truly fixed. Shawn was the nicest, friendliest and most competent repair person that I've ever worked with in St. Pete.He quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and came back a few days later and fixed my $3K Samsung fridge (another repair facility told me to buy a new one!). Shawn was right on time for both visits and actually took out all of the food in the fridge and replaced it when he finished, leaving a spotlessly clean work area. 5 stars for sure!!!

My AC failed and a day later, FAST had a technician out to check things out. The technician, Roberto, went above and beyond in trouble shooting the problem. He not only fixed the compressor but was able to determine the cause of a long standing problem in the air handler. We had a major backup on a Sunday morning and FAST was able to respond very quickly. Spencer came out and from the start it was obvious he was professional, diligent and friendly and was not going to stop working (or charge anything) until he had resolved the problem. Which was good, because as it turned out, it was not a run-of-the-mill issue.Spencer was able to diagnose that the main sewer line was damaged at the street, and once he dug it out, it was obvious Frontier had bored right through it when they buried their fiber optic cable a few weeks earlier. Spencer worked straight through several 85+ degree days to get the pipes dug up and repaired. If everyone at FAST is this dedicated, they will be very successful.I don't know if FAST is the cheapest, but they were a good value from my point of view, based on the quality of the work, complexity of the problem, emergency responsiveness and multi-day job starting on a Sunday morning.

Our tankless gas water heater would stop sending hat water periodically. We called Fast and they sent 2 technicians to look at it. It was obvious that they had no experience with this kind of unit. They told me we needed a new water heater and it would cost $1200 for the installation, only. I ordered a new one on line for $600 and put it in myself in less than an hour. The charged $250 for the service call. Stay away from this company.

We have been doing business with FOF for almost 20 years. We were disappointed when our AC was not cooling that we were told that it would be more than 2 days. We were told that having a contract with your company would give us priority. That is not what happened. My partner (Joanne) decided to call and say she wanted to pay a bill.Only then, did we get the customer service we were used to.Please let me add that once we expressed our concerns, they did come and took care of our issues.They were apologetic and listened to my concerns. So I will not judge them by one mishap.

I have used FAST previously and been happy. I felt it was a fair price and good service and info twice prior.Maybe they changed their management.We needed a fan motor for our ac. They wanted to charge $795 and would not split it over 2 months. I cancelled. I will say the service tech was nice and knowledgable but pricing was outrageous. AND, they would not give a breakdown of part cost and labor. All one price, huh?I found the (new) part for $85 and it took about 35 mins to install.Very disappointed in a company I previously thought alot of.

Awful service! Came to repair a leak in the garage of our condo building. We now have 2 leaks!! The original leak which is now slower, and a new additional leak that is worse than the original issue. Causing hard water damage to vehicles. Of course they are in no hurry to come and rectify the problem that they made worse!!

Wow, I am so glad to find out the guy who did plumbing jobs for my house in Temple Terrace 4 years ago is the same guy who just finished a cleaned out of drainage backing-up today, July 25th, 2018. He is Mike Irwin, a plumber with experience and integrity. I remember his story but not recognize his face until he recognizes the old job he did on my house back in April 2014. I was impressed by his efficiency then when he was with USHAC and I called USHAC becasue of Mike Irwin this time and they directed my to FAST and now with FAST he is still going strong in energy and spirit as before. Chris was our HVAC tech who came out to inspect our system (we have the yearly coverage plan). Not only was he thorough, but he also walked us through the type of equipment we had currently including the pros, cons, and expected lifecycle. I learned more from him in 15min than the 5+yrs my family have been living in this condo. It was an eye opener. That conversation has allowed us to set up a budget and have a plan to make sure my family stays cool and safe in the Florida heat. There are always trade offs with living in a condo and I'm so relieved that we are now prepared in knowing what to expect in the years to come as it relates to our HVAC setup. His installation of a light system to help manage mildew in our system was excellent as was the information he shared on how to operate and maintain the device. Chris is a stellar employee, a hard worker, and clearly cares about his responsibilities to his customers.

It was a big job, so it took a few days, but Antonio, Kaleib, Brian, Roberto and Jijuan worked through the scorching heat to install the system. We had an emergency 24TH Christmas eve. A transformer blew out on 6th street IRB and caused our main circuit breaker to burn out. firemen came and said no electric till fixed. Freezing temps called around found someone that stood us up on 25th. Called FASTOF-FL Sunday 25TH they said they would come out Monday morning 8-12. Called Monday morning 8:30 to get time frame said no appt scheduled. So they schedule me 12-5. I get a call at 3:30 said SORRY GUY CAN'T MAKE IT. All this TIME WASTED whereby I could have hired someone else. POOR JOB, POOR WORK ETHIC POOR ON CONSIDERATION OF OTHERS

First of all when you call you don’t have to go through a dozen voice prompts to talk to a human nor do you have to wait for a lengthy time - if at all -to directly speak with one. They are quick to answer and accommodating in scheduling. The techs show up ON TIME which is unheard of and communicate prior to arrival. While at home, all they care about is taking care of the issues and pleasing the customer. They listen to you, don’t rush you and are super personable. They never try to do work to make a buck for the company - very honest. It has been a very very long time since I have come across any vendor like this. A+

We have had a service contract with fast for a long time but they let us down big time. First of all, they wired our thermostat in a way that depends on batteries. Batteries run out and a/c does not work. And when we pointed this out they tried to blame it on the thermostat which was a complete farce. They wanted over $300 to replace a $30 thermostat which wouldn’t have solved the issue because they wired it improperly. Customer service is non existent at this company. Avoid these guys you can do better. Zero stars.

My thermostat died. I looked it up online and it was obsolete but similar models were$80. Fast of Florida came out to replace and told me replacement would be $717!!! They finally came down to $415 for a thermostat that is $140 on Amazon. Still a lot to pay for way less than one hour of labor. I'll be checking prices before I blindly call Fast again. Bought a condo on March 1 2021. Previous owners had a contract on the a/c unit with Fast of Florida. Contract was paid up until May 23. Confirmed this with the front office. Right before we closed the previous owners had the unit serviced and the guy who did the work suggested that the coils be replaced, as they were very rusty and starting to crumble. Owners were told part was under warranty, so it was ordered. Was supposed to be installed the day before closing, but Fast called the owners and told them they would have to postpone the install because their guy was sick and couldn't make it. They relayed the info to me. A few days after closing, the a/c unit stopped working. I called immediately and said please come out with that part asap and install it. They couldn't find it. They said it had been sitting in the warehouse for too long and that someone else used it for another job. They then told me that the part was out of stock and the manufacturer wouldn't be able to ship the part for 2 weeks. In the meantime, I asked AGAIN if the part was in fact under warranty, and after several phone calls and pleads for an answer, they finally confirmed that it was. Part finally comes in 2 weeks later and they go out to install it. They called and told me the part was NOT under warranty, and they were having trouble installing it, and that I should just go ahead and replace the whole system. WHAT?? I explained to the general manager on the phone the entire history of the unit (he knew nothing about anything), and he then proceeded to tell me that no one in his office told me the part was under warranty, and insinuated that I was not being truthful!!!!!!!! To say I was irate was an understatement lol. After lots of arguing back and forth I finally just dropped them and called another AC company, Paradise Air, to help me fix the problem. I did end up replacing the unit. In the meantime, Fast called me back and told me that they really wanted to keep me as a customer, and that they could give me a really good discount on a new unit. The price he quoted me was $500 MORE than what Paradise Air was charging at their regular price!!!! I basically said no thanks and hung up. I have NEVER written a bad review about anything before but this was so egregious that I felt like I had to let everyone know not to do business with them. They were rude, underhanded, and called me AND the previous owners liars. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Our refrigerator failed, and F of F sent a tech the same day. He diagnosed the problem within minutes of his arrival, but did not have the part for the 20yr old fridge. He placed our window box fan behind the appliance to cool the compressor. Then he located the part in Jacksonville, and said he would return 2 days later. The box fan worked great, and two days later at 930am Dan returned to complete the repair in 10 minutes. We cannot say enough about his professionalism, courtesy, concern, and ability to get the fridge cooling again while waiting for the part. Dan - customer service professional!

I love FAST and have used them to install new HVAC and other minor repairs and been happy with the results. This past service was way below their past performance. Scheduled from 12-5 to repair a running toilet, I finally called at 5:15 and was told they were running late but would call. Plumber showed up around 6 without calling, just as I was ready to call and cancel. Repair only took ten minutes but I had to get a towel as a good deal of water had leaked over floor. I’ll definitely use them again but it will be a “second chance” mode.

Shawn Smith was my technician.He was scheduled to install a new kitchen faucet as I’d been told by another plumber that my current one was not repairable. It was making a streaking sound. Shawn went out to his truck, brought in a tiny washer which he placed inside the faucet head. About 5 minutes and it works perfectly. These people are criminal. The states attorney should look into them. I bought a unit from them about 5 years ago. I have had 20 or so repairs and replacements since the original install. I tried to renew my annual warranty and they sent my check back. The unit is down again. I have gave up and am looking at a new unit with Paradise Air. They get 4.9 stars. I had just moved into a new condo and discovered that the water heater was leaking. It had been installed in Aprilof ‘22 so I believed it to be under warranty. About 10:30am or so I spoke to Lessie when I called and she was great from start to finish - she worked over and above the call of duty to make sure I got a technician (plumber) out same day. I then received a call from JP (Jaziel) at 12:15pm stating he was on the way to the Condo! JP was professional and patient as he/we worked to find the leak. Sure enough it was the water heater that had been installed in April. Once the problem was diagnosed, JP worked quickly and efficiently to determine the leaking unit was under warranty, that the warehouse has a replacement unit, and by 4:30 pm the old unit was gone, new one installed and all was well. Last Dec called them out for A/C issues. Unit was 4yrs old. Tech said we needed a new A-coil. So, $1200.00 we have a new coil that was under warranty. This was all labor. Skip to 07/29/2022 and we can only cool to 76 degrees. We call Fast and the TECH comes around 4:15 pm. He leaves at around 7:20 pm and it is now 11:30 pm and we are sitting at 76 degrees. I paid the young man $49.00 for the service call. He tells me to get a second opinion. I paid someone to tell me to get a second opinion. I will never call them again in the future.

Fast of Florida used to be excellent. For $200 they would service your AC yearly and also offered nights and weekends emergency services and were usually out within an hour of calling.These past 2 years the company has gone downhill. They increased their rates (the appliance bundle used to be $500 and is now $800) and also stopped being as responsive. You have to call the office staff multiple times to request a tech to come out and sometimes they never show. The emergency service used to be all evening, but as of last month is only until 7:30pm. The after hours line is also handled by a call center who is unfamiliar with the company and the local area it serves.I keep renewing my contract because once in a blue moon they'll actually come through and are the only company I'm aware of that has after hours, but that is becoming less frequent.

He also was careful about water spillage and the dust from cutting out the dry wall. We booked an emergency service after hours and was promised that tech Daniel would be there that night, tech was no call, no show until the following morning. he cleared the sewer line for the clogged toilet from the air vent on the roof and charged an excessive amount of money for it ($621). the toilet still wasn't working properly so he charged another $120 to reseat the toilet and told us not to use it for 2 hours. it still wouldn't flush so we called back to get them to fix it. Daniel informed us we needed to pay for a snake camera now. We called Dunedin Plumbing and they properly reseated the toilet with a new wax ring and the toilet works great now. We wouldn't recommend FAST of Florida to anyone and will never use any of their services again. They should refund at least the toilet seating portion since Daniel did such poor work. Dunedin plumbing found he had just slapped a wax ring on top of the old one and had almost completely blocked the pipe in the floor. Would give them zero stars if I could.

We had a leak with the a/c unit and contacted FAST in the morning and they scheduled Chris to come out the same afternoon. He was able to drain the water out of the unit and made several suggestions regarding how to prevent the issue from happening in the future. He also explained that we should not be using a filter within the house as well as a filter in the unit, as the unit filter is designed to handle the entire house. We’re now looking forward to running a cleaner, more economical unit.

The one star is simply because they answered the phone. Whom ever is responsible for answering the phone for service lacks all customer service skills. When I explained I was looking for an estimate, she insisted I wanted a service call and said it would cost $80. I had my AC replaced in a rental unit while I was away. Upon inspection the unit was very loud and they neglected to install the included wifi thermostat. I called again and they dispatched Joe. Joe was great. He was able to lower the blower speed, making it quieter, and even left to get a door for the unit that should’ve been installed during the initial replacement. Both of these things made the unit sound as it should. He also brought the new thermostat. Joe’s service made up for the initial shortcomings of the install making my experience a pleasant one.

First customer service is excellent. Second they are very accommodating and getting service quickly. In April the AC was out and I was told I needed a toggle switch that would take time to get in. Installed May 27. I was out of town for summer and paid cc over phone. Neighbor checked week later AC out. This happened 4 times each time something different. Each time neighbor came and called said AC out. Finally they got it right and I was told original toggle install wired incorrectly. Wasn't going to write a review as many good experiences over the years. The kicker was it is now August and got email saying I owe more money for original incorrect installation.

They came and measured for a new air conditioning unit. The salesman ordered it and said it would be in about a week.About a week later I get a call that the unit is here and I want to install. We set an installation date for two days later. The technician comes out and all he did was complain but the salesman ordered the wrong stuff. He was here for approximately 5 1/2 six hours and said it’s the wrong stuff he’ll tell the office.A couple days later they send out a new installation guy and he says he’s gonna have to re-order a new unit it’s the wrong size. So he ordered the new unit in a couple days they come out to install the second unit and take out the first unit. Gentleman who installed it said they had to takeoff my door and put a new frame for my door to fit back on the unit area.He said he’d send out another person to look at it and when he did the new person said I need another unit. (my third).I live in a condominium we’re not allowed to have stuff delivered or installed on the weekend but the only day they can do it for the next 10 days or so was on a Saturday. So I told him to do it. The third one finally worked after a week and a half of installations and take outs.But even though everything has been all screwed up from the beginning, some woman keeps calling me from the office and wants me to authorize payment. I refuse to do so until it was all in and done properly. But she called every other day. They want the money but didn’t want to service my unit.They were the most unprofessional, uncoordinated and greedy Company I have ever worked with.May 17 update. The city inspector came and failed the unit in many areas. They have to come out and work on it again.Run from this company

Well, we were so happy being on a contract with this company since 6 years on row till new owner bought that company all good employees left they were all well experienced from old school. The new owner double the contract price double, we thought will be a better service but unfortunately horrible experience will their new inexperienced employees, they get rid of MIKE, Richard ( electricians extremely well experienced) then air conditioning people also same good ones left that is a big question mark ! Also I called for checking our AC which is cooling great as well we do a great self maintenance on our AC unit , Because o f was just asking a question simple question to one of their plumber as I mention name Lenox AC, right after they send me a sales person with the AC technician to sell me Lenox as they told me that there is a leak, our unit is working super great and cooling great, My husband get mad I got little concerned so we end up getting 3 different air conditioner tech to examine and check if there is leak or even a sign of leak! They all advices us not to touch this ac since it is working great and in excellent maintenance condition, we cancel our contract with them!Do not use this company FAST it is so different than before !!

I was experiencing a minor problem with my thermostat displaying a message - not connected . It was not a major as the air conditioner was operating properly. Kevin was very helpful in showing me how to make the message disappear. He was pleasant and did not make me feel like an idiot in not being able to perform this task. He also shared with me helpful hints in the maintenance of my air conditioner. I would gladly welcome Kevin back to work on my unit. I do not do many reviews, but this service absolutely deserves it. We had been without AC for 3 days. The company we usually call took a day to get to us, and they quoted some work that was over priced and would take two weeks to do. We called FAST after a relative referred us, and they came out and made the fix the same day!!!!! It was nothing that the other AC business told us. What impressed us with FAST is the professionalism, excellent service, and communication all through the service. BIG THANK YOU TO KALEB!!! FAST has another client in us, and I highly recommend them.

Donny V came out to my Property on 12/08/2021 and literally saved the day! Earlier that day we had a leak detector come out and find the source of our problem, but I couldn't manage to find a plumber even after explaining that I had free standing water in my kitchen and could not use my sink. Fast of Florida was able to send someone out within a few hours. Donny was quick with the repair, knowledgeable, but also had a great attitude. He seemed competent and confident in his work. Emergency Plumbing RepairWe had both of our service lines for our washer and dryer break off in the masonry wall on a Sunday evening. I called around and everyone wanted $185+ for an emergency call. Not much I can do about that - but finally found FAST of FL and they had a technician who was available that night (which was important because our water main had to be shut off until the repairs were completed.Technician Sean was assigned. He telephoned me and kept me abreast of his time of arrival (although he was running later than what he said). When he arrived he was a very nice guy and a hard worker. He fixed the problem in about 30 minutes and had our water back on. Appreciated his customer service and work ethic. Total repair costs us $435 - a lot of money, but what do you do in a pinch.Sean did run our credit card that night. However, FAST of FL ran it again on the following Tuesday. Did have a little hassle getting to the right person to get that credited back - but Lisa finally took care of it.All and all - emergency plumbing is expensive. However, Sean took care of us and made a bad situation as good as it could be.

Had Fast Service come for semi annual check up. The plumber, Denis, was very good. Found and repaired a leaking valve and also re-installed a toilet that had been removed for a new floor installation. Our AC went out yesterday on a very warm south Florida day. The first two places I called didn't answer the phone. I found FAST of Florida on Google and gave them a call. The lady who answered my call was very polite and said they would have someone out before 5pm. Although it was a bit after 5 by the time they got here, the serviceman (Kevin F.) was very professional and knowledgeable. He narrowed down our issue quickly and identified and fixed the problem within the first 30 minutes he was here. AC fixed and house cooling again at a very reasonable $80. :)

The FAST tech Kevin was on time and started right away on doing his job. He checked each item to be covered by FAST as I looked on. He noted conditions of all items and was very thorough, knowing what to look for and noting it. He explained the coverage and the cost of the bundle plus add-ons. He answered all my questions and referred to the main office on other issues, such as cost of services. Not only was he friendly but he was happy doing his job. He is definitely an asset to FAST and hope he stays for another 3 years. He should get a pension.

Company representatives: Scott (plumber) & Robert (electrician) & Roberto (A/C Repair Technicuan). The hot water tank gave out Sunday around 1AM (bad smell woke us up). The company had a plumber (Scotton site late Monday afternoon & Scott had a new water tank installed late Wednesday afternoon. Scott was very courteous, friendly & professional - an excellent representative of the company.Robert (electrician) came on Thursday to do the electrical work on the Water Heater which finalized the job. Robert too was courteous, friendly & professional- another excellent representative of the company. I would like to add that all the representatives who answered the telephone were very pleasant to deal with. Roberto was very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous & great response time on a Sunday. If we encounter a similar problem we would only have Roberto deal with the A/C as we had a previous A/C technician that we found incompetent.

Called them because garbage disposal was not working and their name was in the sticker on the disposal as thenpeople who installled it. Was quoted a $49 service call to fix or $277 replacement which I agreed to. Tech came and used an allen wrench to twist the jam open in all of 30 seconds (should have done it myself but I didnt know) and charged me $93! Expensive lesson learned. Yes, he was courteous but I feel ripped off. Would have gladly paid the $49 service call fee but the add on, even if warranted killed future business prospects. I will never use them ever again. And it earned them this review. Killed the gooose for the proverbial golden egg.

Christopher Muniz called to tell us when he would arrive. He arrived ahead of schedule and performed all the steps needed to solve the issues and did all maintenance needed to have the AC at peek efficiency. He was polite, engaging, very friendly and well versed with the AC machine and the issues and solutions to have the AC in excellent working condition. He performed everything admirably and was precise and came up with multiple solutions to problems we didn’t know existed till he found it. He come up with the appropriate solutions. Excellent job!

Condo unit has 3 A/C - Heating systems. 2 were not working. Joe from FAST arrived exactly as planned and very quickly inspected all the units. The main floor unit was quickly fixed and confirmed operational. The lower floor unit unfortunately was more than 15 years old and needs to be replaced. I immediately received an estimate from FAST for my consideration. I am glad that I called FAST.

One standout of many is Dan Hampton (and on my phone I have him as Dan Appliance Guru - reason is that he diagnoses - calls back and I know where I stand and what to do next. Issue resolved (or quickly addressed) AND he gives cost/benefit opinion and is like a consultant (knows his stuff). Cameron and Scot did a very good job. They arrived in a timely fashion. Inspected what needed to be done, had a discussion with their office on pricing and gave us a quote which we felt was very fair. They left to get the necessary supplies came back and completed the job. We weren’t sure if the job would require another visit, but they were able to finish the job in one visit to our satisfaction. It’s nice to know we can call them for assistance when needed whether it’s for an air conditioning concern or a plumbing issue.On Friday 04/28/2024 Dan came out to check on our Sears Kenmore washing machine. He provided EXCELLENT quality service! Parts have been ordered. I am VERY pleased! While he was here I mentioned that the dryer does not turn off automatically when the door is opened. This five star review goes out to Roberto, my technician. He analyzed the problem and fixed it, which is more than the other technicians did on two prior calls. My AC went out 1 hour before my guests were to arrive on Thanksgiving Day. This is a BRAND NEW Lennox AC purchased and installed by FAST in May, 2021. When I called the office, whoever answered the phone was very polite and promised me he would be able to send out a technician same day. No one showed up, but I did receive a call at 8:00am Friday morning. Roberto arrived promptly, and hopefully, has fixed the problem for good. So my 5 star review is for Roberto, not FAST.

Our LG refrigerator posted an error code ER CO. After some research we determined that we had a communication problem with the refrigerator which prevented us from dispensing water and ice from the refrigerator. As a result we contacted FAST and they dispatched Dan to answer our service call. Dan was prompt and checked out our refrigerator. Initially, we thought it was running and it was a problem with the communication boards. He ordered the boards for us and thoroughly explained what the problem was and said he was going to order replacement boards. He also explained our problem resolution could simply be rebooting the refrigerator which would entail unplugging the refrigerator and plugging it back in. The downside to this solution was that if we unplugged it, it may not come back on. We agreed not to unplug it until he had secured the replacement boards. On the 3rd day after the error code posted, we noticed the refrigerator was not working. Ice was melting in the freezer and the refrigerator was not cooling. Since the refrigerator wasn't working my wife and I decided we had nothing to lose but to follow Dan's suggestion to unplug the refrigerator and try to reboot it. As a result of rebooting the refrigerator, the refrigerator started working again. Dan followed up with us on the morning of day 5 to check out the refrigerator. He brought replacement boards with him. Based on his checkup, our refrigerator appears to be working well.My wife and I really appreciated Dan. He was prompt and very professional. He took the time to explain the problem to us and with us developed a strategy to resolve our problem. When we did determine that the refrigerator wasn't working, based on our conversation with Dan we had a contingency plan. He also followed up with us as he said he would to ensure our refrigerator was in good repair. Both my wife and I feel very strongly that Dan deserves a free lunch.

If you are reading this review . You need to know i do not typically write a review. This is a very unexpected very exceptionally Awsome experience. Most companies (in my option) want to take your money.. and then a little service.However my experience with FAST AND (Thomas Witkop ) and his techs (Axle and Richard) and rest of the team. They went way above in getting our units installed with very little notice . It was a very difficult situation. We contacted had tried a few other companies for help. Very few results. All with the same ( no units available. We will call you back. Or no Techs at this time... My office had older units, that gave up during August summer heat. 1 unit with a electric issue. All 5 units in the Gap between ceilings and or on the roof. Even in the extreme heat they worked long hours in order to get our office back to comfortable situation. Dealing with older wiring and ductwork that was outdated. (Old falling apart )With no complaints or price adjustments and only (smiles and thank you for your buisness.) working late hours. Even Cleaned up like it never happened.Since the installation they have came out twice to make sure we were very comfortable and happy with work.Wow evenThomas has been-out to check himself.This is the type of service that deserves recognition and and for me to take the time to write a review. I called to have this company replace a plastic handle on my shower, they told me they couldn't come out @ 10pm , but they could the next day, sure. When the gentleman showed up I informed him we wanted a proof of purchase & a bill of sale before he did any work, he said sure, so we went ahead and signed. fast of Florida contacted me regarding the bill, the women informed there policy doesn't allow you to get that. The gentleman lied to us and then informed us he wasn't a licensed plumber and never went to school either, and he had to ask his boss what to do. they also false advertisement while claiming there24/7. Then they charged us $250.00 found the @ home depot for $16.00 and I took Picture of the box he left and looked it up. He told us it was $35.00. I will never do business with this company again.

New HVAC system was installed on 1-15-19 and old unit removed. Quy arrived early and alone to start the job and was joined later in the day by his coworker. Quy worked continually all day in a dedicated and organized manner. If I stood near him he would explain everything he was doing and if I asked a question he would give me a detailed answer. He did an excellent job. The crowning achievement is when he completed the job at the end of a long day he then picked up the sheets he had placed on the carpet. He stood on the sheets and rolled them up towards him as he walked backwards never placing his shoes on the bare carpet. He is an asset to FAST.

We have always found FAST to be knowledgeable, dependable and honest. With both the new home unit and the major repair work we ran into unexpected complications (as often happens with large projects) and every time FAST, without our asking, went the extra mile to make everything right. I had the plumber David on Saturday and the electrician William on Monday both extremely knowledgeable well-mannered efficient answered all questions that I had I would love to have them to come and work on my homes plumbing and electrical. I am not very trusting of people. Pricing was better than some others that I had called. Fast acknowledge that I had a plumbing emergency and tried to send someone to me immediately when I call others in my panic to get someone whoever could come first all the others told me on Friday that they can send someone on Monday or Tuesday although my water was shut off because it was coming out of my wall. Fast call me back that night and was willing to come out and assist me. They reassured me that if I wanted to get some rest because, it was very late and since I already got the water shut off, they can come the next day. I was exhausted so I called the next day and they came and assisted me quickly.

Roberto came on Saturday and cleared the drain line. Today, Roberto came and did inspection so that we can begin our maintenance contract again. Roberto is/was absolutely wonderful and shared information regarding: how to check for a drain line problem in between visits, the service contract and all that it covers and protects the customer with possible future occurrences, and also in the process of the Saturday check (bacteria growth had begun on unit evaporator and door- I have asthma and so this concerns me) shared information on UV lighting to prevent/control future growth of bacteria/mold. On today's visit, Roberto inspected system, got our contract started again, and installed the UV lighting as well!I am quite pleased with the work completed and with the knowledge gained through Roberto taking the time to share his knowledge. FAST of Florida replaced our entire AC unit. First, they undersold the size of the unit, then sold us a thermostat they are unable to deliver. We were then sold duct work that was never able to be completed. The AC salesman Mike, has no clue what he sold us and made promises of work that his company would ever be able to deliver. We are awaiting a partial refund from FAST and it has been over a month with no refund issued. The AC unit has now failed inspection twice with us receiving no communication from FAST. This is a terrible company with terrible communication. They tell you what you want to hear, then never fulfill. I would rather live in the summer months of Florida without AC than use FAST of Florida again.

When the technician came he told me my air conditioning unit had a leak which I knew that that's why I called them and it would cost between 7 to $900 to fix Ito fix it that they charged a $150 every 15 minutes . So I declined their services and he said he would unhook his gages and put the cover back on the air conditioner and be done and charge me $89 to come out and tell me if my air conditioner had a leak which I already knew when he put his system back together he screwed right into the unit and drained out 5 and a 1/2 pounds of freon , and then just left , so in all actuality I paid $89 for a technician to come over and put a screw in my freon line and drain all the freon out of it

I have used them 3 times - for electric and for plumbing. They answer the phone promptly. If you use them once, they keep your contact info so they know who you are. They send someone quickly - so far I have had same-day service after calling them in the morning. They have fixed all the problems with reasonable fees. They are my first option if a problem develops.

I bought an American Standard 2 ton A/C unit from them 6 years ago. I also bought the extended Service Warranty Agreement which cost $150/year for 3 years and then was bumped to $200/year. So, I've paid out about $1000. Don't waste your money! The fine print says it covers ALL labor charges and ALL functional (what ever that is) mechanical and electrical components. BUT the Exclusions (and there are a lot of them) say they will not cover solid state circuit boards. Isn't that an electrical component? So there was a 2 x 2 electrical component that controlled the fan that failed. Classified as a circuit board at $78 plus 1.5 hours labor to repair for a total of about $300. Actual install time 10 minutes. No mgm calls back to discuss as I had requested. Felt taken advantage of.

We called to have someone come out because one of our unit's garbage disposal fell down. They showed up and all they had to do was put it back in place, nothing replaced and technically nothing had to be fixed (no parts needed) they ended up charging us $200.00 !!! I have called many companies to come out and usually when it's something simple they charge a service call fee and that's it. This company charged a service fee plus $90 to put the disposal back in place. That is ridiculous to me and not a way to do business. I can say I will not be recommending this company to anyone I know. I will also never call them out to my rentals again! There are many companies out there that will not do that to the customer, call them instead. I learned my lesson, first and last time they have my business and I always need someone but I'll give my business to an honest company.

All the people I have had from fast are the best !!! The last person was Dan he worked on my LG refrigerator and got it fixed where the company for LG wanted me to unplug for 24 to 48 hrs they thought it was a ice build up WRONG it was the freezer door the magnets where not lining up and the light in the freezer was on so the beeper was going off every 30 sec. It was a pain but FAST fixed it big time

Worst customer service ever!!! I bought a $7000.00 central ac unit from them 4 years ago. I've had problem after problem. Ac not working 3 days now. Unit still covered under a warranty. So yest I had a service call from 8am-12pm. They showed up at 1:30pm. Told me I needed to clean my ac coils AND LEFT. Ac still not working. I called 2 hours later. Asking for someone who knew what they were doing. They scheduled me for today. 12-4pm window. At 7:49pm I JUST HEARD from my tech who is still busy at another job. I just have to mention and comment on the excellent customer service and AC install that the Fast company recently did on my condo. It was last minute and I had new clients coming in the next day. Make sure to request an itemized bill before paying. I made the mistake of paying based on a text message the Electrician showed me on his phone. I thought the bill was high but then when I requested an itemized invoice I was actually charged for lights that I provided. After a couple of weeks of back and forth with the office, they said that I would be reimbursed but that it may not be immediate since it had to go through the Corporate office. This was in September. At the beginning of November, I sent an email to ask the status. They said they were surprised I hadn't receive it and said they would check. It's now the end of November.

I am beyond grateful to have been referred to this company by my neighbor. I noticed our AC was not blowing cold air (on a hot Florida day) and immediately went into panic mode! Vinnie the sales rep with Fast of Florida that my neighbor put me in touch with immediately eased my mind just by talking with him and hearing him go thru the list of potentialities considering our unit is barely 3 years old from - needless to say he lowered my stress level just by going thru the potential issues, reassuring me that it is likely nothing major based off of what I told him! The technician Joe that came out was AMAZING! Not to mention, Vinnie came out with him which is DOUBLY reassuring!!! I watched as Joe worked with great attention and care and skill! He went thru all the checks and showed me our unit tested in the ranges that it should - and Vinnie gave me a run down explaining to me all the things Joe was doing (and why) as Joe was doing them, and, both of them answered all of my questions with obvious knowledge and experience! It was the BEST experience I have EVER had with AC maintenance and repair in my entire life! It feels so good and reassuring to have a company I can rely on for AC services and more (if I ever need another service that they cater to). As a transplant to Florida, it makes me a bit uneasy having lost all my ‘I got a guy/gal for this’ from back in my home state and so - I am soooo grateful to have met Joe & Vinnie from Fast of Florida Inc!!! They are DEFINITELY my go to guys from here on out! I will be a customer for life! Joe - you were so amazing, you were beyond nice and reassuring! I used this company for Brand New Installation of Split AC/Heating unit because of making my 5 month old infant comfortable in the room, paid $6300 in mid december 2020. It stopped working one week after installation, It was fixed one week later. Two weeks after that it stopped working again, Jonathan came and said one of the parts needs replacing and it will take 7-10 days, Ten days pass by and no call, I called then spoke to Jonathan's supervisor, Hector. He said the part will take 2-3 wks. Three weeks passed by and I called again and I was told they will send a message to the supervisor and someone will get back to me. No answer for another wk. I finally got a call from the customer service after 4 wks stating that the part is in and they need to schedule an install date. Install date was given after 4 days. Two individuals came to install and they said, it needs to order another part for the unit to be operational. We are at the end of week 5 and there is no update on when the new part will be in or when the unit will be operational. I have been trying to get hold of the General manager (Chrlie), I left 4 messages for him to call me in the past 10 days but no returned call from him either. I have also tried getting in touch with a company but I was told that the company is under corporation and does not have an owner. My next step is to hire an attorney to get my money back or sue them. If you want to go through what I'm going through, by all means use their service.I wish I had read their reviews from different sources and not just google.If you look at all their negative reviews, most of them will not have any respond by the owner. I finally received a 3 calls in 3 hours from General manager after placing my review on google and BBB. I was told that they will replace the unit but can not guarantee me any time line on when it can be fixed, meaning that it will may take 6 wks or more if it breaks down again in the future. This is a BAD reassurance and I asked for a refund. He agreed to refund the money and uninstall the units. I had a scheduled appointment on 3/5/21, this was cancelled unilaterally. I called the company on 3/9/21 to inquire when will they come out the uninstall the units so I can have another company install the units before summer comes. I was told by the office manager that she will get back to be. 3 days later, I still have not heard any updates on when the uninstall will be. Today is week 7 and 1 day since the AC unit has not been working.

Your scheduling/dispatch department is awful. This is the third time you all have messed up my appointments and then tried gas lighting me on them. Even after receiving a “reminder” email from you yesterday your scheduling department tried telling me you had me down for a different day. This is the second time you’ve done that to me. I understand it's not the tech (Kalieb)’s fault; he was extremely nice, helpful and got the job done. Called them out to check on a clog as we know we have an issue at the sewer main connection. So we needed a clog removed and an estimate to repair the pipe going to the sewer main. Guy showed up on time and was professional so he gets 2 stars for that, but wanted to charge me a minimum of $400 to unclog the drain, then at least another $450 to give me an estimate to actually fix the problem. I'll burn my house to the ground before I pay $450 for an estimate to dig up and replace 20 feet of pipe.Ended up paying FAST $50 just to come to my house and give me absolute insane prices. At least now I know who not to call.

Run from this company! They are supposedly a Lennox dealer so we called them when our air conditioner was not working properly which has two more years on the warranty. As a Lennox dealer you would think they would stand behind the warranty and help the customer get the unit fixed. Not this company! They don't care as the technician stated that he works for Fast of Florida, not Lennox. Funny, you sure advertise on your website how you are a Lennox dealer and the only reason why I contacted this company for help. He arrived without a ladder and I had to provide that for him...really? I should have known right there that something wasn't quite right. After 45 minutes, the tech came back to me with a price of $1,500 to fix the unit and then had the nerve to suggest we just buy a new unit. Talk about upselling and taking advantage. Don't waste your time with this company!

Previous owners of my house had an air conditioner installed onto the existing 28 year old duct work. I bought the house 5 years later. They previously had rodent problems and had insulation blown in 2 times to hide the problem and I didn’t know it. I discovered I had rats and the insulation and duct work was disturbed by the trapping company. My whole house inside and out smelled musty and of rats! I have asthma and I was very sick from this. Hector at Fast gave me a quote to replace the duct work. He was told of the urgency of the situation and I put down more than half of the down payment. Fast quit in the middle of the job without even informing me or closing up the ducts they had started. And they kept all of my money. They started the job and then informed me they felt the clearance on the ceiling was too low to access all of it. And their drywall person can cut into it at an additional cost. However, i told them there was someone up there knocking on the ceiling showing me it can b done without that! They just didn’t want to do the job. They should have never gave a quote on something they r not willing to do and walked out on me.It was difficult to get another company to finish the duct work because part of it was done. I lived in a house that stunk of rats and made me sick for almost 3 months because of their negligence! Then Fast called me for the balance of doing a job they didn’t even complete. I spoke to manager Charlie Creech and he offered no explanation, and no apologies. Mr. Creech treated me with total disregard and with no respect. Adding insult to injury Mr. Creech promised a partial refund and didn’t send in the paperwork to the corporate office. It took me 2 months, 2 e-mails, and 6 phone calls to get a partial refund from Fast.

Great response and service today. I have a service contract with FAST and called around lunch time due to a backed up shower and toilet drain to the main bathroom. Despite being short one plumber they worked me into their schedule today and fixed the issue. Joe, the plumber, was professional and quickly fixed the issue with an auger to unclog the drain pipe.

Fast is known for working on condos in my area. as a landlord I don't expect the tech to go and try to make a sale thru the tenant, especially for a garbage disposal that just needed resetting.then charging $213!! then try to sell an $800 Job to replace a simple Garbage disposal (cost $189 Homedepot) that just needed resetting. Their Appliance division gets a 5 star, fair and honest. Plumbing not so much.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Lennox AC quote included three options. We chose the most expensive one. After install, we took a picture of condenser that was on the roof and it was not the one we paid for but the middle priced unit. Upon contacting their rep, we were told they no longer made a handler for that condenser. When were we going to be told this??? We did receive a refund for the difference. Also, we were not told that the handler was ADP and not Lennox. Rep said ADP makes them for Lennox. Several calls to Chis, the Manager, resulted in no response.

Fast of Florida service was very good,but not happy with the wifi honeywell thermostat model recommended.The thermostat doesn't give a proper humidity reading. As far as honeywell is concerned they suggest calling the installer instead of taking the bull by the horns, and go into the system and make the proper adjustments or contact installer themselves to replace the unit.I went with Fast of Florida because Honeywell recommended them insteadof using the reputable company i always use and happy with their service

Well.....I have purposely hesitated to write a public review hoping FAST would communicate with us as I have a long list of issues that happened during the process of installing a completely new HVAC in our newly purchased home in Tarpon Springs. I’m going to avoid writing a narrative about the issues during and after this very expensive purchase. But, I will NEVER, ever call FAST for anything new again. Their lack of communication is inexcusable. Only one of their staff (Hector) was responsive, and actually tried to correct issues. Sad....and, unfortunateUPDATE: THE OWNERS REPONSE IS TOTALLY AN UNFORTUNATE PLOY TO DEFLECT BLAME. ITS BEEN SEVERAL DAYS, AND NO PHONE CALL. TYPICAL HOW THIS ENTIRE PROCESS HAS GONE. NO COMMUNICATION DESPITE THEIR LAME PROMISES. SADUpdate as of March 11, 2021Finally (after months of calling them to get it scheduled) FAST actually scheduled the county inspection which took place 03/09/2021. The inspection failed!!!! (This HVAC system was installed in September 2020). They installed this very expensive unit incorrectly (according to the official inspection report). The new GM promised to get the issues resolved and he would immediately schedule the corrections. I have yet to receive any such call from him (Charlie). So, FAST cannot be trusted with proper installation, and they refuse to communicate to correct their improper installation. I guess my next task will be to file legal action. FRUSTRATING!!!!

Installers Justin and Chris from FAST installed a new Daiken AC Heat pump in my unit today and removed the old one.Both of them where very professional and knowledgeable. They where great at answering my questions and never gave me the impression that I should not be bothering them.Great guys.They did a fantastic job and even vacuumed after the install leaving the area spotless.Job well done guys. They installed a mini-split (they recommended out of the ones we researched) and now claim to have nobody to service it since they are not dealers of the mini-split. Also, the repairman who came out for service kept saying FAST wasn't going to try to haggle with Chinese banks, which is an odd thing to say.

This is an update to my last review. My AC stopped running and I had a service tech come out to find out what the problem was . It was a minor issue dealing with the drain line as well as the thermostat was not operating. Brayne came out to troubleshoot the issue. Brayne was so professional and patient. He took the time to explain the system to me and how to troubleshoot future issues I might incur. This is an addition to a review I wrote earlier about another team that installed my unit . (Old review)Taylor is fantastic.He is a great problem solver. He diagnosed and corrected the issue. I have been using fast of Florida service maintenance contract for over 4 years. They kept my old system running until it passed its prime. I had a new Lenox system installed. It was done in one day. Antonio and Josh were a great team. Antonio even caught some internal problems with a crimped copper line that could have been causing all my problems all along and repaired it before he installed the new system. Everything was explained to me and the salesperson Vincent was very helpful.

The Guys that came out to service the Huge Plumbing Issue at my Condo were Amazing and through. Ray, was very nice and Helpful, he did what he could by himself the first day. Kudos for that I am very grateful for that. The 2nd Day a Team came out with the Big Guns (Cameras) that is. And did a top-notch scan of the of the building Pipes, on the Roof, behind the building, everywhere. I was very intriguing to watch this process happen. When our winter home is over 1,400 miles away and we encounter a problem a simple phone call to Fast of Florida resolves our issues.This June our system flooded and had to be shut down. Only one word - Outstanding! My water heater developed a leak last night and I was afraid it would rupture and flood six floors of condo units beneath me. I have used Fast of Florida for ten years so I immediately called them - Kenny came out around 8:00 pm - drained the heater, determined the problem - and allowed me to get a good night sleep. I had to leave town the next day around mid-morning, but Kenny was back first thing and had the new hot water heater put in by 10:00 AM. Dear Ms. Vaughan,One of the first things my husband and I did when we moved to Florida in 1990 was to sign up for a Fast service contract, and I continued as a Fast customer for many years. When I had to replace my air-conditioning system in 2008, I removed it from the service contract as it was warrantied. And when Fast would no longer write service contracts without A/C coverage, I didn't renew, figuring I'd stay on with the company that installed my Trane system. I came to regret that decision when my refrigerator developed a problem and I didn't have a clue whom to call. It sounds rather dramatic, but I literally felt helpless and out in the cold (no pun intended). I'd taken for granted the one call I could always make to a local company that could be counted on to come and fix whatever needed fixing ... and do it fast!Needless to say, I came home to Fast ... and I've felt safe and protected ever since.You might have heard this story, as you know my daughter Robin, who told me recently that you might appreciate receiving a note from me.Thank you so much for the company you lead. I had two bathroom exhaust fans replaced last week for $800. The technician, Asiel, was not respectful of my property and left me with quite a mess. The first bath was covered in insulation that fell from the attic, all over new shower, toilet, sink, floor, etc. I quickly covered everything in 2nd bath myself & it saved a lot of cleanup. Drop colths would have been nice. He didn't leave me any manufacturer's info or warranty info on new fans incase they broke down. I did call office the next day asking for info but more than a week later I still haven't heard from anyone. The fans are nice but service was substandard. I do give 5 stars to administrative assistant, Shawn. She was very pleasant.

Over the weekend my A/C unit stopped working. I called requested emergency service. Saturday Afternoon Brayne diagnosed multiple refrigerant leaks unable to locate in a 9 year old American Standard system. Sadly the only option was a new A/C unit. Vinnie did a great job in locating the unit I wanted on a Sunday morning and surprised me with being able to schedule the following Tuesday install. Brayne & Joe worked diligently in the heat despite challenges compliments of Carrier. They did an outstanding job completing a successful install late Tuesday evening. Awesome Team effort. Not happy that the repair technician showed up with a salesman telling my mother that she need an $8000 AC replacement when she had called on her furnace. They did not address the furnace issue at all just attempted to scare/scam her into an new AC unit. I did not even pay $8000 when I replaced the AC on a 3500 SF house. How is this justified for a small condo?
