I had the same experience as Gary. I called on Tuesday left a message and was never called back, after they were recommended by a friend. Found someone else who got back to me right and did a great job. I do not recommend Dirty Plumber if you need somebody right away.

Eric at Big Bear Plumbing is a true professional. He provides quality service, is extremely qualified (former commercial plumber, bonded, and formally trained plumber), and a very nice guy! He showed up on time and did a very high quality job repairing my sprinkler system, which appeared to be all kinds of messed up from a previous repair. When he finished it had no leaks, was water tight, and proper water pressure returned. If you are wondering, he is definitely one of the awesome old Reno tradesmen that you are probably looking for as you read these reviews: self reliant, honest, punctual, and hard working. I had an after hours urgent service call on a Sunday, and these guys answered my call, took the job on and got my broken water valve repaired within hours!! I cannot express how pleased we are with their knowledge & responsiveness to our call!

In the past our family has had good results from this company. However, we received a quote to have some work done. A couple of months later a different technician came to our house and gave us a quote of over DOUBLE of the original quote. I called and had a lengthy discussion with a manager. They did not honor the original quote! We ended up paying about $400 over the original quote and the technician & manager, both bad mouthed the employee that gave us the original quote. Their stance was that the original person under bid the job and did not know what they were talking about or doing. I am the CUSTOMER and the company's personnel problems are NOT the customer's issue.
And, Jesse, the guy who did the work today said he was going to talk to me about doing the job 'on the side' to save me money. So apparently, their employees are not very loyal to their employer!
