Their diagnostic price was higher than another company I called, but that company couldn't service me until the next day. Our heater went out in a Saturday, they arrive within 30 minutes. New furnace was installed on Wednesday. They were more than fair on price

Honest, professional technicians. This was the second opinion that we got, and Paul’s saved us almost $20,000. The company prior said that we had to replace our entire system, however, Paul’s came out and they were able to identify a leak replace the part and add some Freon. I highly recommend and would not trust anybody else to service your furnace and or AC.

Where do I start... I had made an appointment 2 weeks ago and needed some repairs from an inspection report completed. The lady that does the appointments scheduled me and I asked her/Beathany to ensure to check the report and photos to ensure the tasks can be repaired and completed at that time she gave me an email to send. I'm also living 4 hours away trying to sell this home and coordinate these repairs. Well the appointment comes 3 guys come out and literally state nothing needs to be repaired after they crawled around underneath the house.( I will attach photos in this review of those repairs needed. And you make your own decision if no repairs are needed). I then tried to get ahold of the guys to stress there is repairs and they didn't call me nothing just left. I then had to reschedule my appointment with Bethany which then she gave me a different email to send the photos for review. Again to ensure they could be completed. Never heard anything stating they could not be done. So my appointment was today 12/10 and the tec Tristan comes out very nice. Calls me asks what needs to be done. I said uhh you didn't review photos with bethany? He says no...
I set him photos and inspection report so he was clear on what to do. Welp looks like he can't do two out of the 3 ducting repairs. And he literally lifted the ducting with some sort of zip ties for 200 bucks. I
paid because I'm not that type but if you want chuck in the truck service call this company. I usually don't
have these issues with businesses but wow. So needless to say work was not done and what was
done was incorrect so I'm out 200 bucks and have to
find someone else to do the work correctly. Thanks

We have used Paul’s Plumbing a few times. Their customer service is always incredible! Both on the phone with scheduling and then also the technician that comes to the house. Their text and email appointment reminders are very helpful and I like it that they use updated technology. They even have an app! Their prices are fair. I will continue to use them in the future and I would definitely recommend them!

Less than 1 star!! Wow can’t believe how inexperienced the the tech was today, came in and in less than 5 minutes told me I needed a new furnace that would cost us over $3000. Called for a second opinion from and the part and labor cost us less than $200. Thieves never again!!!!

Trysten, the technician, was competent, personable and fast. He also advised on a fix for a problem I am having with cooling & heating on the second floor and is sending me a proposal. There is a reason why Paul's has been around since 1957, they are not the low cost alternative, they are the trained professionals. I have used three different HVAC companies in the twenty years I have been in Reno but I will use Paul's going forward.

Beyond impressed with every aspect of service I've experienced with Paul's! Their customer service is outstanding. (I had opportunities to interact with multiple employees, both on the phone and at my house-due to an issue with the old system in my current property.) From the initial service call, estimate for new unit, installation, and follow up with the new system they installed they have exceeded my expectations. Robert (technician) was a particular stand out- extremely knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and willing to answer any questions. Definitely recommend this company.
If I could give them 10 stars, I would! We had a propane system replaced because the one installed just 6 years ago by another local company was a complete disaster. There were so many things wrong with the previous installation (including a carbon monoxide leak!!!), we had to use space heaters most of the time. Zane from Paul's, and the entire crew were amazing from start to finish. They were punctual, professional, and installed the system with perfection! And, they took the time to explain enduring in layman's terms so we could understand what needed to be done. I can't say enough good things about the crew who took care of this massive project, but it was worth double the price they charged, without a doubt! I'll use Paul's every single time in the future!
Furnace went out, not a good thing these cold nights. Paul's was able to send out a tech within an hour and Chris was at our door in no time. Chris was professional and efficient. He went right to work, figured out what was wrong within a couple minutes, showed us where it was cracked, got a replacement part from his vehicle, then replaced it. He was in and out in less than half an hour. We were quite impressed.
Highly recommend Paul's if you have any issues with your plumbing, heating and/or air conditioning.
They came and told me there was an issue with te heater and would get back to me when they could get parts. Never called back. Never got parts. Heater still doesn't work. Had Hawthorne come look at it and it is installed incorrectly causing part of the unit to burn out. Was I stalled by Paul's 18 months ago.

Our AC broke while we were out of town and when we got home it was 90 degrees in our house. We called three companies to get quotes on a new AC. Paul’s was by far the least expensive for the exact same unit the others quotes us for and they were able to install within in 2 days. Called to set up an appt. to fix plumbing issue. They set up an appt. for the next day, but got a cancellation and showed up within a 1/2 hour of my call. Gave me a quote, fixed my issue, all said in done in an hours time. Highly recommend. Be sure to print the 10% off service discount on their website.

Dillon came in and took charge of an unfinished drain pump install AND a warranty compressor replacement on our new splits, while we were in the middle on the house, and got everything completed and checked out in time for our inspection. Grateful to Paul's for coming through in a pinch and making the process painless, five stars!
I have been a member of their comfort club for over 5 years, the people are great, very professional, know what they are talking about, they service my furnace every year, and recently had their electrical dept. install a new electrical breaker panel and a transfer switch so I can use my emergency generator plugged into my house instead of using extension cords. Great service and dependable.
After repeated request for a call ahead Spencer Keife came without notice to service our furnace. I hope he did as he said. The furnace is on the roof and I did not get up there to watch.
We were also billed for another service of a single heater unit that was never looked at.
This is not the first time we have been billed for services that were not done.
Paul’s wasn’t the cheapest bid we got for the new hvac system, but I felt they would do a good job with the install. I am extremely happy with the quality of workmanship, and how well the new system performs. Would definitely recommend their service!!

Zane was fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They were very careful with my property and went above and beyond with the instal and ascetics of the finished work. And my dogs liked them.
We worked with Zane to upgrade our home's hvac system which was over 20 years old, as well as install a tankless water heater, also original equipment. We wanted to make sure we didn't get hit with an a/c repair in the middle of the summer so decided to upgrade on our own terms. They also offered a good rate on changing out the water heater - another way they won our business is that they could do both jobs. Out of many bids, Zane seemed the most knowledgable, trustworthy and easy to work with. He did a great job of asking questions to understand what I wanted, explaining the different options, and the pros and cons of different solutions. The work went super smooth, was done in just a few days, and Zane took the extra time to explain how everything works. The water heater is working great. We haven't gotten into the heat of the summer yet so it remains to be seen how well the hvac does, but I'm super pleased to have a modern, highly intelligent and efficient heat pump which should save us dollars in the long run.
The only hiccups were a few miscommunications regarding the final price. This was a learning for me to make sure there's no ambiguities and everything is written out in the bid. However, the president of the company spoke with me personally and was very reasonable in resolving our issues.
I would strongly recommend this company to anyone looking to upgrade their hvac and/or water heater.
Paul’s replaced a 27yo HVAC system in our home. They were professional, knowledgeable, and able to solve problems without compromising the desired specifications of the system that was quoted in the bid.

My shower head was leaking and they came out and fixed it. The technician was friendly and on time. I would use them again.
Overnight had a burning smell from the furnace. Paul's came out the same day to investigate and did a thorough, professional job. The responsiveness and excellent quality service was evident from the initial call through the technician leaving when through. Highly recommend.
The staff at Paul’s Heating and are are very professional and helpful.
The work was estimated to be complete in 2 hours and they were done in less than 2.
The temperature in the house was instant and both upstairs and down stairs were very comfortable almost instantly.
I’ll be using Paul’s for all of my AC and Heating needs in the future.
Back in the fall we scheduled with Paul’s Heating and Air to update our seventeen-year-old system along with installing a tankless hot water heater. James Dehl personally came to our home to examine our system and propose recommendations, and we were very excited to begin the process. However, the communication internally was difficult, and the project took much longer than originally scheduled. What should have taken two days actually spanned a week and a half. The details of why that happened aren’t important. I actually want to share what IS important. Every person who entered my home was kind and respectful. I never felt unsafe, and genuinely enjoyed my interactions with Paul’s team. I felt it was valuable to share my disappointment with the timeline and some damage that was left behind from some of the more invasive work. I kindly gave James my feedback because as a business owner myself I know I can’t make improvements or guide my team if people don’t tell me when they have a less than expected experience. James was incredibly gracious and kind, and immediately took steps to rectify the issue of damage. The vendors he contracted with were punctual, respectful and did a wonderful job. At no time was I made to feel unreasonable or unappreciated because of my feedback. Quite the opposite in fact. Honestly, I feel like I have a genuine relationship with James and his company, which is good because they’ll be responsible for maintenance, updates and repairs for years to come.
I want people to know that it’s possible they won’t have the installation experience I had, and that would be fantastic. However, if you do have an experience that leaves you frustrated you can be assured that if you communicate with the leadership of this company they will work with you to make it right. That’s actually more important to me than a perfect experience because let’s face it, stuff just happens sometimes. We can’t control everything, only the way we handle things. I can honestly say this company handles its business very well, and truly cares about their clients. I can also say that my home has NEVER been more comfortable thanks to James’ recommendations and the hard work of the team. I’m very grateful to have them available for any heating and air conditioning services I might need in the future.

Great customer service and knowledgeable techs. First called them back of March 2022 to inspect my furnace due to an odor coming from my garage. They took a borescope and showed me the crack on the pipe where the leak was coming from. They sent me a quote for a replacement and figured I wouldn’t need it till winter, so I held off. January 2023 Shopped around with other HVAC companies and was a bit higher. Called Paul’s and they honored the original quote, also offer military discount and finance options. Would definitely recommend this company.

We have used Paul’s Plumbing and Heating for years. The customer Service we get is always amazing. Thomas is the best and both he and James never fail to take great care of us. The owner Michael really cares about their customers and their reputation so we always get great follow up as well. We just had a very serious issue with our ducting and could not use our heater. With the weather turning colder and colder, this was a big deal! Thomas was here within two business days and everything was fixed in one day! Just in time for the big chill too! Once again, they thrilled us with their customer service!

Paul’s showed up the next morning after first call and changed out the AC fan capacitor, all fixed up in a few hours and very pleased with this and the technicians! Will use again!
Robert and Oscar were very professional. They got to our house super fast and had us back up in running in no time. Had to call three places today to find someone to fix my furnace. So glad I found Paul’s! They were able to come out the same day, and even were able to show up early! In and out quick. Easy replacement part purchased quickly. And no gouging in prices. Less than $300, and finished in less than two hours. Couldn’t be happier! Especially since my house was 58° when I woke up this morning! Thanks for a job well done.

We’ve had our A/C unit leaking for about a year and a half and have had to put a bucket underneath. Our landlords called to get it serviced and we were told by the company that we needed a new drain pan and it was being custom made and that was back in march of this year. The pan has yet to come in and our landlords were billed for a service fee when nothing has yet been fixed. Then the company came out three weeks ago to drain it and we had let them know it leaks on the carpet and rather than listen, they drained it and it spilled all over them and our carpet and stained it. They did not fix it that day and hasn’t been fixed yet, the company will not returns our calls and has yet to come back to fix it. This is honestly ridiculous and unprofessional and the leak has moved into the ceiling around the A/C unit which caused another issue for us. We’ve decided to go with a different, reliable company.

I signed up for their yearly WOW program that for a flat fee, you receive 1 service each for your A/C & Heating system. Today, I had Garrett (very friendly & professional) working on my heating system preparing for the winter, making sure it runs safely and efficiently during the cold season. Next Spring, I'll be having another preventative maintenance done on the A/C unit.
Very pleased with Paul’s Heating and Air Conditioning. Punctual, friendly and they fully explained their diagnosis of current problems and recommended “fixes” to the A/C system. Couldn’t ask for more! Will use them again as the need arises!

Techs might be good never got one out here. Office staff is poor makes appointments the techs cant or wont make then argue with you. Will waste your time. Recomend giving your business to another company. Bethany in office is worthless. Do not give Paul's your business you have been warned....
Awesome locally owned business! I noticed my hot water heater was leaking, so I called Paul's immediately that afternoon. They had a technician come out the next morning. The tech Thomas presented himself extremely professional and articulate. I felt he gave us a thorough evaluation and explanation, recommendations, and a very fair quote to replace it. Thomas also checked for warranty on our old unit. They completed the unit replacement the same day, in only 2 hours. The upgraded system looks and performs incredible! Paul's was very good at letting us know when they were coming and it was a specific time and not a 4 hour window. Robert explained what he had tested and what things to watch for. Checked out the attic unit including checking the amount of insulation in the attic.
Everything from scheduling, appointment reminder, day of text with tech name and arrival time to annual furnace check, filter replacement AND cleanup of equipment and vacuuming!!
The technician and assistant were professional, polite and friendly. Highly recommend Paul’s.

We hired them to service our AC unit. A person came in to check the unit and find out why it was not working for a short period of time. After about 3-4 minutes, I went back to check on the progress and found that he had left our office. There was no sign of him in the parking lot. I was confused as to what the resolution was. We received a bill in the mail in a few weeks. We will not use this service again.

We use Paul’s Heating & Air at many of our commercial properties for maintenance, repairs, and replacements. They are very knowledgeable and able to explain parts and processes in a way that we can understand and then take the information and relay it to owners and tenants. The staff was very professional, friendly & helpful. The field team were on time for their appointments. Kept in touch with their ETA's. Shopped around & they're quote came in the lowest. We were in a bind late last year to convert gas connection to propane so we could get our CofO approved & Paul's Heating & Air came thru for us. The technicians came in and assessed that there was no issue even though my wife and I have lived in this place for two years with no issues and have noticed a significant difference in the performanceof our ac within the last week. Up until a week ago my unit blew out cold air just fine and in fact cooled down my apartment to 72 or lower at times. But now it just stays at the same (83+) temp even though we set it to 70 and they tell me all is well.... The techs left (stupmed by the way the were talking and acting) in a bad mood and told me basically to deal with it.

Paid $800 for a bandaid which did not fix the problem, and no warranty on the work.
They came the same day to look our ac when it stopped working. Our house was 92! They addressed the problem and came out the next day to fix it. They also educated my husband on how to clean the main unit in the future. They were affordable and timely. We appreciate their help!

Really fast response, very polite technicians. They explained everything and where really open about my options and prices. Didn't try to sell me on something I don't need.
Had them come out for our AC not cooling. They looked at it and determined that the condensors were going out and needed to be replaced. Also, said the unit was pretty old and should just look into buying a new unit. Asked a buddy to come look at it. He saw they had left off a cap for the Schrader valve on the low pressure side. The code also said it was a low pressure issue. Called another company and they found leaks in the line. Fixed the leaks, refilled the refrigerant and it is working great again. Also, asked for paperwork to show maintenance completed and have just been totally blown off. Am telling everyone i know to stay away from them.
