Had water heater replaced about a year ago or more. Excellent service very professional. Just recently Pipe for sprinklers had been leaking for awhile, finally called Gibson Plumbing to come out to fix it. Zach was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Replaced it with new one and no more leaking. Highly recommend them and will use them again when needed in our 20 year old house.

Cary and crew have been done installation, maintenance, and problem resolution for over 20 years on my very complicated HVAC systems. The system was designed by a mechanical engineer. Cary had to work through a long list of design problems and equipment failures I doubt could have been resolved by anyone but Cary. Gibson does things RIGHT!

Cary did a maintenance service on my high efficiency radiant heating system (cleaning, fluid replacements etc.). Very professional, competent and clean.
He also answered a bunch of questions on other issues, which ended up with a fix of the recirculating hot water system and a suggestion for addressing a more automatic house water shut-off scenario.

Don't use this business. Very unprofessional.

Gibson was great. I have a unique Geo-Thermal / Water Furnace in my Truckee home. Few firms have the expertise and equipment necessary to service these highly efficient systems. Gibson scheduled within 2 days and performed a complete inspection, maintenance, and cleaning of the Water Furnace. Very pleasant to work with, and definitely knows his stuff. Gibson just completed installation of a new efficient boiler for our radiant heating system. Zach and team arrived on time each day, cleaned up as they went and completed the job on time. We were so happy, we had them switch out thermostats, add a new toilet replacement and will have them back next spring to check our AC unit too! Very happy with their quick and courteous service

Gibson Plumbing did an excellent job of replacing a radiant and base board boiler system. They designed a system to deal with the different temperature requirements for the radiant and base board heating, which includes multiple circulators, mixing valve and hydro separator. The installation went very smoothly, the entire team was very professional and Cary was very thorough in the explanations of the new system. I would highly recommend them.

I called several companies around me in California then decided to call Gibson Plumbing. Michelle told me that they are licensed to service California. I talked to Cary who had me take pictures of my old A/C and heater unit. He gave me options then set a date to come out here. He showed up with 3 other of his employees and had everything finished before any of the other companies would even look at it. The job is clean, it worked the first time. I am very happy with their work and I recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Of all the estimates and calls I made, Zach was quick to respond and so professional and courteous. Made me feel comfortable and educated me on what needed to be done in layman’s terms. Pricing was very competitive and he won because of his great customer service. Thank you Zach!

They did a good job, were great about explaining the new system and answering all our questions (both when giving the estimate and during installation) and the AC works well. And I love the new smart thermostat - very easy to use with lots of options. A couple odd things:
1. As is normal these days, we had to wait 6 weeks for the A/C unit to arrive (we didn't want just a standard AC). Gibson was supposed to schedule the appointment after the unit arrived, but instead they just showed up one morning. I was out of town but my luckily my housemate was home and able to stay home for the 2 days before I got back.
2. I had wanted the return air duct enlarged and wanted to use a larger static filter after another company had taken static pressure readings to find that it's insufficiently sized especially for the later static filter. I can't recall the exact conversation, but oddly Gibson wouldn't do that work. Also, it seems taking the static pressure readings would be a normal part of working on my 30 year old system but they didn't do that.

Those things certainly aren't show stoppers. I'd recommend Gibson to friends.

I had a clogged drain and called about an estimate. Over the phone an employee told me an alternative solution that may fix the problem, and it worked! Extremely friendly, and will be my go to for problems that are over my head.

Zach Gibson plumbed and wired our very efficient, existing geothermal radiant heating system to enable it to also provide efficient cooling. We were impressed with Zach’s knowledge and skills, as well as his friendly and professional manner. This summer’s temperatures are already putting the new system to a test, and we are thrilled with the results!
