I am new to Reno and to using irrigation systems. I called and Eric was able to come out the same day to help me get my system out of it's winterized dormancy. He checked out each segment and made a couple of repairs and carefully explained all he was doing so I could do the same next year. Eric is the consummate professional and provides world class service and craftsmanship with every project he's done for me. His work is impeccable and his value and pricing second to none. Called to set up a quote for a drip system repair and take a look at a broken handle on our irrigation valve. Eric called me back immediately, but was super rude on the phone. He quoted me $1499-1600 without taking a look at my system or coming to the house. When I asked if he did estimates after looking at the system he said “that’s what this is—if it’s broken, it’s broken.” He got agitated when I questioned him and was super condescending.

Update: That’s not what I asked and it’s very clear you were not listening. I asked if you did estimates as I was unsure if the problem was as extensive as you seemed to immediately judge. You refused to listen to anything else I said and insisted you knew exactly what to do without ever looking at the problem. Quite frankly it seems like you have all the time to argue with clients rather than listen and provide kind service.

I had a leaky faucet and pipe fixed through Big Bear. Experienced great service, despite complications and a functioning finished product. Would highly recommend.

Eric was referred to us by a friend. We are very glad we chose him to replace our water heater. He did great work at a much cheaper price than we were quoted by some other companies. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs any plumbing services. We will use him for anything else we may need.

My wife and I hired Eric on two occasions, and both time he did an outstanding job. There first time he installed a hot water heater in the garage in 90 degree heat in the summer. Second time he helped us diagnose a dishwasher that wasn't draining. I highly recommend Eric!

Eric has been the hero on my kitchen remodel, saving the day multiple times and being ready and available to help in my less than ideal plumbing situation and water emergency. He is honest and will get the job done, then go above and beyond and show up when other plumbers would say I don't have time for that. So thankful for his work!

Great service, honest and trustworthy!

I've been dealing with Eric for about 4-5 years now. He's done simple jobs, complex jobs and things in between. I have found him to be consistently polite and professional. He quotes fairly and keeps his word, even when things turn out a little different than we expected. He's always on time, returns calls and texts promptly, and does a great job. I've referred him to friends, and I would refer him to anyone looking for quality work.

Eric arrived when he said that he would, and installed 2 new toilets for us in a recently purchased home. He found that the existing toilets had been incorrectly installed. This caused some of the top of the flooring in one of the bathrooms to pull up with the toilet. He explained all this to us and asked us if he should proceed before actually taking out the toilet. We appreciated his honesty. Also, this made the job a bit more challenging and time consuming for him, but he didn't try to increase the previously quoted price. I am sure that some companies would have done that.
We will always trust the Big Bear Plumbing with our plumbing needs in the future !

Called Big Bear Plumbing to replace my water heater which is stressful not knowing how long id be without hot water and not to mention the cost. Eric showed up very flexible schedule that really helped me out, quoted me what the cost would be and when the work would be done... with great relief he completed the work as he had quoted on time and the best part no surprises on the bill! I have had Eric, Big Bear Plumbing, do many plumbing projects for me. The latest being the installation of a tankless hot water heater. He has always provided excellent, timely service at a very reasonable price. I would give him more than 5 stars if possible!

Eric has been out for me 3 times for everything from finding a leak that had caused some water damage to replacing all of the drainage pipes in my basement. Each time he has been on time, respectful and efficient in addition to fixing the problem. He's great to work with!

Eric at Big Bear Plumbing is a true professional. He provides quality service, is extremely qualified (former commercial plumber, bonded, and formally trained plumber), and a very nice guy! He showed up on time and did a very high quality job repairing my sprinkler system, which appeared to be all kinds of messed up from a previous repair. When he finished it had no leaks, was water tight, and proper water pressure returned. Eric arrived right on time. Did the plumbing repairs we asked for quickly and was gone in a flash. Charges were fair and reasonable.

Eric is my go to plumber. Eric installed a multiple sump system in my basement and it works flawlessly. He also just repaired a faucet and again a first class job. I have been a owner builder and done remodels also. Eric is a master plumber who also is honest and a joy to work with. We called about 10 different plumber's no one would come out for at least a week. meanwhile we have water coming from the wall into our house we purchased 3 days prior. Eric came out immediately and I mean immediately! He was very polite and helpful from the beginning to end. He was very fast and efficient the best contractor I have ever encountered by a mile and unfortunately I have too much experience with plumbing issues and contractors. Eric is GREAT at what he does. He is professional, punctual, and a super nice guy. He’s our go to plumber for any plumbing issue.

I was awakened at 5 a.m. with the sound of water running outside the house. I determined it was coming from the sprinklers. To my surprise, the main sprinkler line had ruptured and water was running through the yard down the street. I started making calls at 8 a.m. to several landscaping companies. I received no call back or I received an excuse that they wouldn’t be able to even look at my issue for at least a month. I called Eric and left a message. I received a call back within 15 minutes! Eric came out to my house and had the repair finished buy 10 a.m. that morning!!! Thank You, Eric! We will be calling Eric for all our plumbing needs in the future. You Rock!! EC
