Great Service, Professional, courteous and friendly. My well pump went bad, Luna, Travis, and Alex came out to replace the old 20 Year old pump. Our well sat at 600 feet deep and they had no problems pulling, replacing and making sure everything in the system checked out and worked perfect before they left. Even the secretary on the phone was very informational and understanding of the situation as well.

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

Marcus, the technician has taken care of routine maintenance on my two systems for a couple of years now. He has always been conscientious, professional and amiable. A credit to his company.

Pros: I called for an emergency leaking pipe in my crawlspace, and they got it fixed the same day.

Cons:
They were ~3 hours late (scheduled for 6pm, showed up at 9PM).
They charged me an emergency after-hours fee (after being late)
After assessing the situation, they made a series of demonstrably false statements (I have photographic evidence to counter them all) to suggest the purchase of more expensive services, including that:
1. My water pressure was 110PSI (my gauge later read 97PSI)
2. I do not have a water-pressure reducing valve installed on my house (I do - it may not be working properly, but it is clearly visible from the area the plumber was working in)
3. The supply line from the meter to the house is made of PB and likely to burst (it is made of PEX, transitioning to PB in the house. This is also clearly visible from where the plumber was working)

I would recommend getting a second opinion before committing to any services this enterprise recommends..

Not only did they fix my shower fixture quick, but they were incredibly personable, knowledgeable, helpful and unbothered that I was being a curious cat about what they were doing. I even asked their advice on a couple other tiny faucet fixes I’m attempting myself and they were more than happy to walk me through it. Couldn’t have asked for better! Thanks fellas!!!

Jason from 3rd Generation Plumbing went above and beyond to install our kitchen sink and faucet after the big name retailer (no names mentioned, rhymes with woes) we paid to install them proceeded to bungle the process for two months. He persisted in following up with said retailer and kept us informed, even while he was on vacation. Then when he was finally cleared to install the sink, he discovered that the DIY countertop tile job by the former homeowners was overextended and required additional work to trim away before the sink would fit. He dealt with this as well despite the extra time and effort involved. Final result looks great and we are very happy with it. Throughout the process Jason was courteous, helpful, and professional. We highly recommend this business and plan to use them again in the future.

Carter was very personable and professional and recommended other services that are very much needed. I am very appreciative of the services rendered. I would use Optimal Plumbing Solutions again in the future and would recommend to friends. OPTIMAL PLUMBLING SERVICES were the first to respond to my request. I made contact on Monday and received a response and the leak was repaired on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

They did a good job, get a price before you get the work done I asked for a discount after my work was complete because they charged me for two men working when one man could have done the job.

Do not use! I chose John Hutchins’ company because he seemed very knowledgeable and was priced reasonably. The project started off well enough to get the big draws, but then started dragging and dragging. It was like pulling teeth to get them to do work. Finally they just stopped showing up. I had another plumber come in to finish the job. The mistakes he had to correct from John’s guys have cost me thousands of dollars.
