Midtown Plumbing has become my go-to plumber for both personally and professionally. I am a local real estate agent and my clients will sometimes need work completed for pre or post closing. Matt and Jason have been the plumbers I have worked with the most and they are fantastic. Even today Jason fit us in before a closing this week to help us make sure we closed on time and work was done professionally. The front office is always friendly and quick to respond/schedule. We used to have a good experience with this company and were customers for a few years. But recently our water heater went out and they gave us a price to replace it which was more than twice what our local contractor estimated for the same unit (and this local contractor has a better rating on Google than Service Experts). They also refused to give us a breakdown on the costs -- just giving a quickly written price quote and saying it was a package price. They had a $90 per month option with a commitment for 10 years -- which would have ended up costing 3 times more than that alternate quote. It looks like they are upselling the Advantage program since it is easier for the consumer but makes them an unreal amount of money over time. In the end it just reminded me that no matter how much you want to trust a company, get a second quote and don't rush the decision -- even if you need hot water right away! I also wish i read the 1 star reviews on here -- there are a ton of people who have the same story. (and it would have saved us spending $99 on a what was essentially a sales call)

My water heater was close to twenty years old and in need of replacement prior to family visiting in a few weeks. I contacted several plumbers for quotes and Eugene was one of the few to respond. He was able to replace my water heater within one day of contacting him. He was able to find a water heater to fit my existing space and his rate was reasonable. I now have a great new water heater!

I called William Parrish Plumbing at 9:00 am on Monday to fix a leaking shut off valve. By 10:30 am, Scott had repaired the shut off valve and was done. That’s amazing service.Addendum—can’t figure out how to do a new review, so just adding this one.Michael fixed our problem child shower in no time. As always, William Parrish is awesome. Can’t say enough good things about this company!

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

box and pressure tank in my 33 year old well. He did a super job

I've discovered that when the line from the house to the street backs up it is truly a mess. These folks came out on a late Friday afternoon, quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. That's all I could ask for, but I got someone easy to work with too.

My pipes were clogged and leaking for 2 years!!! I’ve had numerous plumbers come out and tell me nothing was wrong but i kept getting $400 water bills in a one family home i called 1800plumbers they had a plumber out the next day and found out the toilet stopper had corroded inside the toilet and was continuously running for years they fixed the issue and filled a hole in one of the pipes within hours. Great workers and great customer service will definitely recommend to others.
