Best Backflow Testing in Raleigh NC
Do NOT call these people unless you have a money tree growing in your back yard! I had 2 toilets running/leaking inside the tank. The plumber asked my fiance if we wanted the toilets rebuilt because they would last longer (my home was built in 2003). Side note, the plumber arrived 15-20 minutes early and I wasn't home yet. My fiance said okay to the work being done because honestly he was trying to get out the door to work. Normally I wouldn't complain about a repair man arriving early but in this case it was an inconvenience. Anyway, my understanding of rebuilding a toilet is putting new guts in which you can buy a kit for at Lowes for $20 yet my bill ended up being $475! I asked for an itemized statement for what I was being charged but was told that all toilets are different (um okay) and that the bill was just for the job. I was told the job has to cover the company's insurance, gas, and the plumber leaving my house to go get the parts. Shouldn't toilet guts be something standard a plumber keeps on their truck? After the plumber left I was so upset that I called 2 other companies in Raleigh to ask what they would charge for the same job. Their charges were $150-$225 LESS than Midtown. I hate to think what Midtown would charge for a big job! Good luck if you use them!

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

This is my second experience with PlumbV Inc. Keith is a masterful plumber who is quickly able to diagnose and repair any variety of plumbing related issues. Earlier this year he replaced my 20+ year old water heater with ease. Today he diagnosed a complicated leaking issue with my shower (which had been created by a botched shower spigot replacement done a few months ago by a handyman) and fixed the issue within an hour. Highly recommend this company!

I have used Fuller three times over the last year and have always been impressed with their staff's friendly professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond. Their prices have always been reasonable and they are fast workers. I have worked with Michael and Will most recently, and both did a great job for our family. I constantly recommend them to others in need of plumbing services. Keep up the great work!

Your Service Pro of NC was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and affordable. They were able to get us on the schedule immediately, called 30 minutes (right on time) before the appointment to say they were on the way, sent an email with a bio/description and photo of the service professional we would be expecting and a follow up email after the service was completed.
Jason was very professional from start to finish, took time to thoroughly inspect every factor that could be causing our program and solved the issue- while also giving us his cell phone in case we need it for any reason.
We would not hesitate to contact Your Service Pro of NC again!

I noticed a leak on my water intake pipe to my home and called Sweetwater. They came out a couple of hours later and quickly fixed the issue. They gave me a fair quote before working on the leak, and the crew was in and out within half an hour. They resolved the leak and ensured I had good water pressure across the house before leaving.

I used CPB to install a sink in our butler pantry, install a shower fixture in our master and flush our hot water system and each time, they got the job done well! No issues since installation of the sink or shower fixture. Sammy (the operator) was knowledgeable and provided excellent service. I would recommend and use again.

We bought a home and hired CK's to remove all poly pipe and replace with pex prior to us moving in.
Background/Who I am
I worked in the construction industry for 10 years and went to school for carpentry for 3 years. Am I plumber, nope, that is why I hired them. I am however familiar with the construction business and understand how difficult it can be to make sure your crew does a good job and keeps your client happy. I was a concrete foreman for 4 of those years.
Synopsis/recommendation
1. The crew left trash all over the place both outside and in a closet upstairs (see photos, but not a deal breaker for me)
2. The crew didn't put the insulation in the crawl space back after removing it to work. (see photos, but again not a deal breaker)
3. Our contract states that they were suppose to replace the tub faucets with new ones. They did not arrive with a roman faucet so I had to purchase it day of and then was told it would be additional cost of $350 to install it. Here is where our problems began. Not only was the replacement faucet itself suppose to be included in the estimate, but the labor was as well. I was frustrated, but not in the mood to argue with the crew over this. Ultimately, I realized the foreman and myself could resolve this issue after the install.
The turning point/deal breakers
The crew returned to clean up their trash and replace the insulation. The foreman met me an hour or so before his crew came back to clean up and apologize. 'No harm, no foul,' I said; 'I get it; it was late they probably wanted to get home, no worries.' When the foreman arrived, I just began to put a coat of finish on the hardwood floors that I was refinishing prior to us moving in. I specifically told him that 'I was putting this coat on and leaving so tell his guys not to worry about the drywall upstairs; I'll take care of it.'
4. His crew arrived and cleaned the trash up outside. They rang my Ring video doorbell. I did not answer because I was driving back to our rental home. I apparently left the garage door open. CK's crew entered my home without my permission, with no one there and took four steps onto my still drying finish and ruined it. (See photos, this was a deal breaker for me).
5. I spoke to the foreman; he came out and looked at the boot prints in the floor's finish. At first, he apologized and said he wanted to make it right. He asked how much it would be to redo the floors. That's a tough question because I did them so it isn't like I could tell him well we paid x. I told him for me to rerent the machines, pay for the sandpaper, and get another gallon of finish it would cost me $600-800. My time though isn't figured into this. It would take me at least 2-3 days to remove the finish and re-finish them again. Days I did not have. For my time and inconvenience, I didn't really have a reasonable answer to how much. Up until this point they were reasonable so I said, why don't you talk to the owner and ask him what he thinks is reasonable.
6. The crew cut swiss holes everywhere in the house and I understand they needed to cut holes but look at the extra work that was added. (see photos)
Ultimately, the Foreman came back and said the owner was willing to take off $800, but ONLY AFTER THEY CHARGED ME AN ADDITIONAL $350/ faucet install. Essentially, the owner of CK credited us $450. At this point, the story had changed and the foreman began to question whether his guys were the ones who stepped on the floor. My wife, gotta love her, pointed out that her 5' 6 husband does not wear a men's size 14 boot IT WAS 100% CK.
I've called and attempted to reason with them. They stopped returning my calls and sent the bill.
Where we are now, I've paid the bill and am handing this to my lawyer. I hoped prior to filing my lawsuit the company might read this review and reach out to resolve this dispute outside of court,
6. As I began to patch the drywall, I found abandon poly pipes that were to be removed (see photos).
7. One hose fixture is broke and the other one is leaking (see photos).

I have used their services 3 times now and have always had a wonderful experience. Their office manager, I believe Patrick, is so courteous and helpful and was able to get me scheduled the same day! Matt did a great/quick job fixing my toilet, and previously Jeremy replaced my garbage disposal and fixed a valve on my water heater. He explained everything he was doing and why, and was very courteous and professional. Highly recommend this company!

I ask for a quote on installing a water softener they told me they charge 1100 to 1500 dollars on an install that would take an hour. Normally I pay 400 to 500 dollars for this install. Be careful using this company
