Bell Cow Services

My home warranty company uses Bell Cow for HVAC work. The first tech that was sent out for my AC issue simply told me that there was nothing he could do, and I needed to replace my seven year old unit. He could not give me any information other than it just isn't efficient any more. I thought this was odd and I was very disappointed, so I called the company every day for about a week until I was able to speak to someone that actually seemed to care. Shortly after, Terrence Pennington, a branch manager, called me and said he would be at my house the next day to assess the issue. He showed up when he said he would, and fixed my AC unit with more refrigerant. He was kind, listened to my concerns and understood my disappointment. He really made up for what the first person did not do.

Utilizing our AHS warranty, we were provided this co. We were satisfied with the service overall. They were punctual, professional, & knowledgeable! When We were not sure about something We asked and Were provided an explanation; thank you so much for sending this service technician to our home.

The people at Bell Cow were wonderful, always kept in touch with us on the status of our a/c heat pump unit, they did an excellent job and they are very professional, will call them again.

We use Bell Cow for all of our maintenance issues at my current job. I've never had any issues with their services and all of their employees are very kind and thorough. They explain everything in a way that's easy for me to pass along to my upper management, or they happily call them and inform them of any issues my managers need to be made aware of. I'll definitely use them when I purchase a home in the future.

The guy cut up my house to install new water lines. It was not necessary. I am left to repair the damage myself. Stay as far away from these people as possible. He replaced my frostless outside faucets with the cheapest thing you could buy. It is already leaking like crazy. He took my faucets with him. Along with all the copper he could salvage. Not sure he is a licensed plumber.

I can honestly say this company was on point. They showed up early and provided excellent service. Highly recommend

They were punctual, responsive, acted in a professional manner, and produced a quality solution to my problem, which is of a great value to me. Sam did an excellent job thoroughly investigating our HVAC issue and made sure it was running again before he left. We had been without air for over a month and no one had been able to fix the issue until he serviced it. Thanks Sam!

Bell Cow was contracted to install a Lennox Mini-split heat pump with 2 indoor mounted evaporator units in my home in the summer of 2017. Within months of the initial installation we had to call them back because there was a leak in the refrigerant lines, the units were running almost constantly and not cooling. Over the next 2 years, Bell Cow technicians and managers made about 10 trips to our home to continue trying to fix the heat pump. Major problems included condensate water flooding into our house, running down the walls and damaging paint, and wood flooring. The most frequent reason for call backs were leaks in the refrigerant and no cooling. Refrigerant was added, but leaks were not stopped and only temporarily restored cooling. Our electrical bills were higher than ever as the unit was often running without sufficient refrigerant. Both of the indoor evaporator units were replaced during this time.
From 2017 to 2019, the Raleigh office had at least 4 changes in managers, so we often would get a visit from a new manager who would listen, apologize for all the problems and promise to fix it. One of the numerous Bell Cow managers that toured my house during this period commented to me upon examining the work in my house that the evaporator failures and replacements were likely due to poor installation.
In the summer of 2019, I contacted Bell Cow again because the unit was failing to cool and was still dripping condensate water down the inside wall of my house. After several visits to assess the damage to my home and the failure of the system, the most recent Bell Cow manager authorized work to repair drywall, repaint water damaged walls, refinish torch burn marks on wood trim, repair my water damaged floor, patch a whole in my foundation, and repair my basement ceiling. They replaced one of the indoor evaporator units again (the 3rd replacement) and re-plumbed the condensate drain line in an attempt to stop the flooding. This work was completed in October 2019.
I was hopeful that they were taking all necessary steps to ensure that we would have no more problems, but this summer, as we started using air conditioning, we are having water problems again. One of the indoor evaporator units is failing to drain properly and is dripping water on our wood floor again. So, after 3 years of experience with Bell Cow, and repeated failures by this company to provide us with a working heat pump, I would not recommend to anyone that they use their services or purchase HVAC equipment from them. I am contacting Bell Cow again and will report back on any response that I get.

Update: To be fair to Bell Cow. I disputed half of their charge and they were nice enough to allow the refund. I've updated from 1 star to 4 stars.

Our experience was very impressive, professional, informative and reassuring that our AC would be up and running after 8 weeks of hassles with other companies. Will definitely use Bell Cow again.

We lost our heat during the recent snow storm and being new to the area we did not know who to call. Bell Cow was one of the companies we contacted and we cannot say enough good things about the service we received. Terrance serviced our system and we were so pleased with his customer service we now have a maintenance contract with the company.

Wonderful wonderful job, I was truly satisfied with my technician, very kind man. I didn’t have any heat in my home and my technician refused to leave until the heat was on, it really touched my heart, how caring he was. I will recommend this company to anyone.

My experience with Bell Cow was nothing but positive. Parts of the structures of my garage door frames were damaged by termites. Bell Cow was contracted to repair/restore the structural damages. They did fabulous carpentry work of structural repairing to replace the damaged header and supporting frames. The professional service they provided was impressive. Manager Bernie was very responsive and on the task. Carpenter John is experienced, smart, well-organized, and committed - the type of experts I can always trust to get jobs done right. Thank you team for such an impressive job, your hard work, and professionalism too! If I ever need a carpentry work done in the future, I will call you immediately.

Had two new toilets installed and they hauled away the old ones. Put them in quick, cleaned up everything, and they look great. Brian did a great job! Thanks!

Bell Cow installed a new Lennox HVAC unit in our house last summer, and it has been a nightmare dealing with them. In less than a year, they have had to return to my house at least 5 times to recharge leaking refrigerant or replace faulty equipment. They have missed appointment times or often show up hours later than when they promised to come. When they have come on time they are missing equipment or supplies needed to complete the work. I have had damage to my flooring from water leaks and burnt woodwork from improper torch work. When technicians come to my house, they openly admit to me that the previous work was done wrong. Bell Cow was supposed to fill out paperwork to get me a rebate on the unit and it has not happened. My HVAC unit has been inoperable for half of the time it has been installed. When it has worked, my electric bills have been excessively high due to this HVAC unit which was supposed to be very efficient. Summer and hot weather is about to hit and I don't have a working HVAC unit. Terrible company!

I'd gladly recommend these folks for HVAC problems. The blower fan and the induction fan both went out. Doug identified the problem within 10 minutes, and 2 days later he came back with parts and had it up and running within 2 hours.

I couldn't be more pleased with my new heating and cooling systems. The guys that installed the units were professional and just as nice as well.They explained everything that I asked them about the systems and showed me how to work the new thermostat. They cleaned everything up after they were finished and even vacuumed the floor to make sure all the mess was cleaned.I would highly recommend Bell Cow to any of my friends and family.Everything was completed in one day and was very happy to have a warm house that night.

The receptionist that answered my call to Bell Cow to fix our A/C during these past few days of extreme heat was very helpful & friendly. Terrance listened to my concerns and gave me his word that he would send someone to check the electrical components on our system. Sure enough first thing in the morning we received a call help was on the way. The technician was respectful, courtesy and found the problem which is no longer a problem. We are very happy & satisfied with the results and dealing with Bell Cow.

Bell Cow has performed my routine system cleaning on my personal HVAC system, and I use them for electrical work at my business. Have never had a problem in over two years.

Services received by Bell Cow in early December of 2018. Unexpected expenses right around the holiday season from the first phone call which provided me very detailed information about the initial appointment. This company was on top of there game.

Bell Cow offered a competitive price to replace our water heater. What made it perfect for us was the time frame they were able to get this unit installed. Where others were 1 or more weeks out, Bell Cow had our unit installed within 2 days. Excellent service..I would definitely recomend this company.

Misleading on quotes. Will tell you one price over the phone and be totally different when technician arrive. To much miscommunication with them. Said they would have me fixed on same day, and then try to put me off to the next week after doing the diagnosis. My Service company failed to repair and hold up their end of their contract . I called Bell Cow and talked to Butch who sent a service technician by the end of the day of the hottest week of the month. They found the problem and had me cool in no time. Maurice was able to fo a Diagnostic test to locate the problem. I fired the other company and am looking for a contract from Bell Cow.

Bell Cow gets 5 stars for excellent service and professionalism. After years of constant repairs to our old system, we concluded the inevitable....a new system. We got three quotes from different companies and Bell Cow proposal by far was our best option for convenient service and affordable cost. They removed and replaced our existing furnace and AC unit in one day. The inspection was completed and passed with no issues. We highly recommend Bell Cow to family, friends and co-workers for all heating and cooling services, whether it's maintenance of an existing unit or installation of a new system.

I decided to give Bell Cow another chance and I am glad I did. The representative was professional, honest and had great customer service skills and even helped us with planning our future projects. The job was done faster than I expected and he even help us save money on repairs. I though we needed to change both faucets, but after looking at them, he confirmed only one needed to be changed the other was actually still good.
I will be using Bell Cow in the future and based on my last experience I am updating the review.

- The price quoted matched our budget expectations.
- With every quote you get, make sure you get it always in writing including the warranty promised.
- Water install went great but there was a miscommunication on the labor warranty.
- Called office for months before I could get a response back but once they responded, they were able to provide answer to my questions.

Purchased a new construction Meritage home with Bell Cow installed HVAC and ductwork. The house is now 4 years old and the ductwork is rusting a considerable amount. I contacted Bell Cow and they said that there is only a 1 year labor warranty and no warranty on materials. I would not recommend hiring Bell Cow as the materials they use they do not guarantee will last.

Horrible company, tried getting in touch with someone numerous times and everytime was answered by some call answering service and said they would tell them to call me and I kept informing them that it was very urgent and still have not heard anything back, our A/C unit was fixed by them not even a year ago and the same issue is happening again due to the same part going bad so we have no A/C downstairs in our house with 2 small children in the house.

Shout out to your technician Tyler!! He was prompt, friendly diagnosed the issue and made sure I could reach him with any questions. It’s rare to find technicians who work with pride and take their work seriously!! My unit is located in the attic and did the work on a 90 degree day !! Edgar and Frank, the techs that Bell Cow Heating and Cooling sent to install the new heating and cooling system for my home, did a great job.
They were very efficient and knew what they were doing. They were also kind , pleasant and helpful . They cleaned well before leaving .
Also Ashley, the person I contacted so many times during the process dealing with the claim with First American, was kind and willing to help.

I found out on the day that my garage exterior side entry door was to be installed, that I ordered the wrong swing door. I was on the verge of panic not knowing what to do. The 2 crew members, Donald and Rick, showed no hint of annoyance and or frustration at all. Instead, they offered to help me. They got permission from Bell Cow to go to Lowes and exchange the door for the right one. This is above and beyond what I expected the crew and Bell Cow to do for their customers. To top it off, I was not charged extra. Like their slogan says, THEY DON'T MILK YOU. Excellent quality of work - my door looks great! Thank you Rick and Donald - courteous, friendly and professional. I also, would like to thank Kayla. She always sounded friendly. The tone of her voice showed a caring attitude, that made me feel comfortable every time we spoke. The scariest and hardest part for me to do, when it comes to home improvement/repair projects, is finding trustworthy and honest people to hire, to do the right job for the right price. I thank my lucky stars, I didn't make a mistake hiring Bell Cow. I was quoted almost double the price by another company to install that same door. I now know, who to hire for any home projects. I used them thru my home warranty service, did not fix the problem and when I tried to contact them to have them come back and fix it, which they are supposed to do for free it took me 2 days and 20 phone calls and also contacting the warranty service. While I understand that it’s a busy season for HVAC repairs and it’s going to take a week to fix the problem, not calling me back or answering your phone is terrible customer service.

I don't typically write reviews but being a home owner I know how hard it is to choose the perfect contractors to keep your home in tip top shape. I loved the customer service provided by Bell Cow, from beginning (phone call for service) to end (the repair). Upon arriving they were very professional and completed the repair beautifully. I definitely recommend their services to everyone! This is my second encounter with Bell Cow and I'm very pleased with this company.

Very please with the service and professionalism I received from Bell Cow Heating and Cooling and their technician Dale. He was very informative and patient and when he had to come out a second time, he fully explained everything and was very patient in providing answers to my questions.

Our home warranty company chose Bell Cow to service our non-functioning air-conditioning system. Having been mightily disappointed by the repair service sent by a previously contracted home warranty service, my expectations were low. However, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the quick response and efficient repairs provided by Bell Cow. Lance, the assigned technician, carefully explained every aspect of the repair as he completed it. At the same time, he was both professional, personable, and endlessly engaging. Following Lance’s visits the AC unit is now back to perfectly functioning. I would recommend Bell Cow’s services without hesitation.

Bell Cow was able to quickly respond to our issues with our water heater. James, the service technician was professional and thourghly answered all of our questions. He clearly had extensive plumbing knowledge. Our new water heater worked well for one day with no issues and then stopped working. The same day it stopped working, Bell Cow scheduled James to come back and evaluate the issue. Bell cow was not to blame for our lack of hot water, Mother Nature was. Due to extreme cold temperatures water had frozen and blocks of ice were clogging up the lines. James was able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently and provide us with useful advice to further prevent reoccurrence.

My first experience with Bell Cow was for repairs on a 25+ yr old heat pump. Bell Cow was able to make repairs to keep my heat pump running for another winter, so when I was ready to replace the unit I decided to call Bell Cow. We received quotes from several companies. Bell Cow had a competitive price and since we had a good experience with them in the past, we decided to use them for our new unit. The entire installation process was positive - the techs arrived on time, completed the installation as promised and answered all of our questions. Our new unit has been running for about a year now - no problems. Thank you Bell Cow!

I've used Bell Cow for electrical, plumbing and HVAC. The technicians are always professional and I'm always happy with the work that was done. They are my go to for home services.

Bell Cow serviced a toilet on 3/28 that we had which was loose. No leaking or other issues, it simply wiggled a bit. The wax ring was missing, and was replaced, toilet reset.

On 4/7 we noticed that the toilet is now leaking water around its base. The water was coming through where the plumber had sealed the toilet with caulk.

I called on 4/8 requesting someone to have this fixed. I was informed that the next available appointment was Tuesday April 16th. I was also informed of the cost of service.

To be clear: A toilet in my house began leaking AFTER it was serviced by Bell Cow. I was asked to allow the toilet to leak in my house for an additional week before they would correct their mistake. At my expense.

I will be contacting an alternative company to correct this issue, and for any services going forward.

NOTE: Bell Cow also serviced a toilet in early March. We've had no issues, and the company was pleasant to deal with then. That is why we returned as customers. Unfortunately, I expect better than 50/50 odds that a visit from a plumber will not result in water damage to my home.

I was initially very disappointed with this company but they reached out to me personally twice to reconcile and solve the issue. It says a lot about a company that is willing to rectify a problem and be professional. The technician, Tyler, was phenomenal in explaining the problem with my AC and extremely helpful. I would definitely use this company in the future.

This company lacks everything you would want out of an HVAC company. Knowledge they don't have it starting from the top down. They sent 4 different technicians to my house over 2 weeks each with different diagnosis of what was wrong. All while I didn't have A/C.
Attitude, they don't have an attitude to serve the customer. Even after I spoke with them 2 weeks into no A/C I was talked down to by the regional manager stating there was nothing they could do for me. (he had actually been one of the technicians at my house.) Their service reps in the office will sit on paper work and blatantly lie about the notes they are putting in to the warranty company to decrease the amount of work that will be covered by the warranty company and increase their bottom line.
I'd have given zero stars if possible they are a nightmare to interact with no empathy at all.

What an awful, awful experience with this company. My warranty company contracted them to fix our upstairs unit. It took 4 service calls over a period of 5 weeks to get our AC fixed. Their customer service agents were catty, showed no sympathy and even less urgency with scheduling appointments for their technicians.

The first appt they gave us an 8am-12pm arrival window. They called at 11:55 to let me know they would miss the window AND that there was another appointment ahead of us. My wife had taken the day off of work to be home and then they couldn't even give us an ETA for the afternoon. Off to a terrible start.

I understand that diagnosing a problem on the first call may be challenging, so they filled up with refrigerant and left, saying to call us if it goes out again. Sure enough, it did within days. It then took 5 business days for them to get the next tech to come out to actually diagnose the problem. The tech sent the request off to the warranty company to order the replacement parts.

Bell Cow then wouldn't let me reschedule the 3rd appointment to install the replacement parts until after the parts arrived in their facility. So after waiting 5 business days + a weekend, we had to add another 3 business days before their tech could come out again. No sympathy and no urgency during the hottest month of the hottest year on record.

On the third visit, I specifically asked for a phone call prior to their arrival since they've been late before. They just showed up without a call - barely within the appointment window. Their install techs weren't all that friendly (one was shirtless 90% of the time). They did the fix and got the air working, only for it to fail within days for the 3rd time.

The fourth visit actually went well. Their tech, Sam, said that the install techs inadvertently knocked off one of the valve caps causing the refrigerant to bleed out.

Long story short. Do not use them under any circumstance. If your warranty company selects Bell Cow, do everything in your power to get another contractor. They do shoddy work, are extremely poor communicators, and frankly don't seem to value the warranty customer. We were without air in all 3 of our bedrooms for the better part of 30 days (a couple days of respite in between) and they didn't seem to care in the slightest that they were having to make 4 service calls on the same unit.

EDIT: Unfortunately I'm obliged to edit my review with an update. The irony of this edit should not be lost on the reader.

After posting the above, Bell Cow contacted me to schedule a courtesy quality control walkthrough. I hesitated, but agreed. What's the worse that could happen?

Well, they no-showed the appointment for the QC walkthrough. The reason for the no-show, they said, was that no one assigned a technician to my ticket. Another wasted day off that I had to spend at home waiting on no one.

During the rescheduled QC walkthrough (which I was told should take 10-15 minutes), their technician spent over an hour drilling and hammering. Turns out he wanted to reinstall a kill switch for the condensation since he didn't like how the original installers put it on. Ok, fine.

The very next day, a mere 28 hours after their Quality Control walkthrough, the air went out AGAIN. This was during the first week of October when we had those record highs of 95+ degrees. Fortunately, Bell Cow came out the next day to re-re-re-fix the problem. That was their SIXTH call on this unit.

Proceed with Bell Cow at your own peril. Had it not been for the record heat, we would not have turned the air on until Spring 2020 and we would not have been able to hold Bell Cow accountable for yet another screw-up. I should've trusted my gut and not allowed another one of their techs anywhere near any appliance in my home. Never again.

Bell Cow service technicians, George and Ron, came out to our house the same day I called. We had a water heater that apparently leaked for a very long time. It had to be replaced. George knew who to call to help me find out about the warranty. Fortunately, it was covered. George and Ron removed the broken water heater and replaced it with the new one. My husband and I decided to move the new water heater to a different location. The old one was housed in a closet. We wanted the new one installed in the garage. George and Ron were able to do the plumbing and electrical work needed to make that happen. George and Ron always arrived on time, and were very courteous and professional. I felt as though we had been friends by the time the work was completed. I highly recommend Bell Cow and would not hesitate to call them again, should the need arise.

Terry was the technician who came out to service our a/c units. He called before he was scheduled to come out. He was early, but that was better for us. He explained everything he did and even more above and beyond. He was very polite and professional. Great doing business with him and Bell Cow.

2 no call, no shows within 4 days of each other? No thank you. And, that was with a 4 hour window (9am-1pm) both days. Customer service was completely unapologetic when we could finally get them on the phone.

I really was happy with the service I received. They arrived when they said they would be there. They did the work and was very professional. I will definitely use them again.

Phone call nuisance, spamming, telemarketing. Had no authorization to take my phone number and somebody keeps requesting them to come to my residence. My comment was deleted for posting about what I am explaining and I was also blocked from commenting on their facebook.

I was referred to Bell Cow thru my Warranty Company. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received! Due to red tape that comes with a home warranty there were a few hoops to jump thru before actually having my new unit installed but every person I spoke with at Bell Cow were courteous, understanding, patient and sympathetic to my circumstance. The install team of Hawk and Anthony were just as professional and courteous. They went above and beyond to make sure my unit was installed with out further delay after realizing a small potential problem! Hawk followed up next day coming out to make an adjustment and made sure all was running properly. Yes; I am very pleased with Bell Cow and every employee I had contact with.

Normally, I contact Bell Cow directly to schedule our projects. However, this time they were called in for us as a subcontractor by another company. Despite this third party miscommunicating the scope of what needed to be done, Dylan came through for us with only a minimal delay to acquire the parts needed to complete the work. Excellent, as always!

Making arrangements for a HVAC preventive maintenance was easy and fast. The technician called me to tell me when he would arrive, and arrived on time. He even answered questions about a heat pump vs furnace, and was very knowledgeable and courteous. Their prices were fair and reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Technician was very professional, he wear a mask (+ for me). Was ok with me asking questions. He was efficient and polite. I didn't choose this company, my warranty company did. My ac is still working, so I am happy.

Worst HVAC company ever !!! After filing a claim with my home warranty company they send Bell Cow out to my house. Technician did not know what he was doing removed and replaced parts . When the tech he removed the fan relay control board and replaced it with a contactor that has overheated and melted the wire harness in the air handler. CALLED many times and was told the supervisor would call me back THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Next stop is the NEWSROOM No AC for two weeks and my children have asthma.

About two weeks I called Bell Cow about two of my homes located here in North Carolina! The first interaction was to get a quote on only one home after that call I had two appointments set one for home in Raleigh the other was a rental property in Fayetteville... From that initial call every interaction went GREAT. The representative showed up on time and showed out! Hands down the best service in town(not to mention the fact I was trying to get some competitors to come out before making a decision... Needless to say they didn't either show up or give the options provided by Bell Cow) satisfied customer!

Matt came by and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. My unit is currently still unplugged so it can thaw out and today is supposed to be 90 degrees. Bell Cow has impressed me so far and I would recommend them!

Had a circuit out, they came and fixed, and it's still working fine a month later.

The reason for the 1 star is whoever they sent lost 2 screws to my breaker panel, and left the cover just barely hanging by the two top screws. someone could have gotten killed because of their carelessness.

Dawson and his partner were very knowledgeable about the HVAC repair and offered several alternative solutions for the fix. They were very personable and accomplished the repair within an hour after the problem was diagnosed (on a very hot & humid day). They responded to an emergency repair request within 24 hours, which was particularly helpful to get the HVAC back up and operational ASAP. Highly recommend this service for professionalism and quick response.

Bell Cow HVAC did a total install for me through my warranty company, “American Home Warranty.” My technicians Tyler, Frank and Brian where all very virtuous, informative and above all polite in a difficult situation (seniors surviving without air conditioning).

I have contracted out several electrical and hvac issues to BellCow in Raleigh. Terrance is very responsive and easy to deal with!

Ryan and the other two technicians were very cordial and in layman's terms explained what they would be accomplishing. They sealed all exterior holes from ground level to rooftop. Likewise, they inspected the garage, attic, gutters, and HVAC, sealing any noted holes. They made compliments on how well the property was maintained. A safe team working crew, very professional, and caring, who take pride in their work.

The company was hired to fix the heater of an hvac system. We were able to have heating provided that the thermostat was set extremely high. When bell cow showed up they piped fuses and then nothing worked. Temperature dropped in the 30s. They came back out got the ac system to blow cold air. When we called and asked for a manager to come out they sent out the same technician who didn't fix it in the first place. When we called butch the manager. He said he would look into it. But we later found out the his looking into it was to not show up or call. Do not use this company.
I responded to ron l the regional manager. He said it was a short in the system. It wasn't a short who turned of the auxiliary heat in freezing weather it was his employee. It was not a short when he hung up on me after i told him i was law enforcement. This company. Is the worse.take your business else where

At first the service was great. A tech met my realtor out at the new house on time. Sadly, it has taken me 4 days to get an adequate invoice. First, a blurb was sent describing the issue. I requested an official invoice. I got the invoice, but with gibberish on it and no cost to repair. I only understood because of the blurb from my previous email. I have called 3 times and emailed 4 times. Emails have not been responded to. My realtor has called...still NOTHING!!! I am horribly frustrated b/c my due diligence period is ending! This company was more expensive than most, which makes it even worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very pleased with the installation of my new HVAC system. Both Lee and Hunter arrived on time and worked continuously until the job was completed. They both were conscious of not to dirty the floor,(placed coverings on the floor and staircase). They were patient in showing me how to program my new thermostat and encouraged me to contact them if need be. Both Lee and Hunter conducted themselves in a professional manner. I am grateful to have had them perform the work I needed.

The installation on my Pack was perfect. No cracks everything is sealed. They bent over backwards to do everything I asked of them. It doesn’t really matter what brand system you buy as long as the installation is competent. Bell Cow is competent, friendly, very knowledgeable and willing to take time to communicate so the customer understands.

3-11-2019, A power surge or some other problem caused damage to our system’s circuitry that was very hard to diagnose. Bell Cow did not let the problem go until they found the source of the problem and repaired it. Our system is once again performing flawlessly.

James, was the name of the technician who did both the estimate and installation of the water heater. He took the time to look at the old water heater and was able to get it working so we would have hot water for the few days before he came back to do the water heater replacement. He was professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. I had 3 other plumbing companies look at the old water heater they had 3 different diagnoses none were sure what the problem was. James took one look at it and knew that the manufacturer was no longer making water heaters. He even knew where I had bought it. In short he provided exceptional customer service. I had a leaking water heater, they tend to do that when they are old, and needed service fairly quickly. They came by to look on Wed. and came back on Thurs to replace the unit. The two guys who came, Juan and Eliseo, were very knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job. When they were done they put everything back in place and made sure I knew how to operate the system - I got a heat pump water heater which is a huge change from what I had.

I have had Bell Cow come out to do work twice since this water heater replacement - once in July and again two weeks ago. In July they came to fix a shower fixture that had corroded and leaked. They cut out part of the ceiling under the leak and two holes in the wall. They repaired both the ceiling and the wall and cleaned up after themselves. Two weeks ago, I had them come out to replace the rest of the 24 year old fixtures. They do a great job with plumbing. Unfortunately, they once again cut a hole in my wall (for the second shower). This time they did not fix that hole stating that they do not do that. When I called the office, they promised to call back with some solution for the hole and never bothered.

The technician Chris arrived on time and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. He had the part on his truck and repaired the unit in a few minutes. I was truly impressed with how quickly he was able to repair our system and THAT HE HAD THE PART! The last few times we had to wait weeks for other companies to get the part in. I was really appreciative of everything he did for us. I would highly recommend this company and especially the technician Chris.

My hvac went down last night and right now being the hottest days so far this summer, it got unbearably hot in my house with no ac. As soon as bellcow opened I called them and they were able to squeeze me into a opening late afternoon, not even an hour later they called me again with a earlier time which worked much better for me. The man they sent was very respectful and knowledgeable about everything he was looking at. Not even 5 min go by and he has my hvac back up and running. He sees a few other problems and takes care of them as well, such as the drain being slightly backed up. 15-20 min later he was done. The house is starting to cool down now. I want this tech every time. It’s rare to find someone who knows their trade this well. I’m glad I can count on bell cow. Thank you guys for everything and looking forward to continued service with you guys.

We had our entire HVAC system replaced by this company in February of 2019. We had to call them out for repairs by November of 2019. Upon further inspection, we came to realize that the entire BRAND NEW system was installed incorrectly. The control board was fried from bad wiring and had to be replaced. There was a hole in our return system that was covered up with duct tape in an attempt to conceal it. There was improperly installed duct work that had to be reinstalled. The defrost board was fried from bad wiring and had to be replaced. Also, the settings that the initial installers used on our control board ending up costing us a ton in utility bills. We were unaware that the team had set our system to run solely on emergency heat if it fell below 40 degrees outside. Overall, I would not recommend this company to anybody. Our tech we had at the end was wonderful but he had to fix everything (alone) that was done incorrectly in the first place. It is a huge let down to pay a large sum of money on something that is supposed to improve your home, however, it ends up causing more of a headache. In a span of less than a year, this company has come out to our house 7 times to fix their mistakes. Don’t waste your time on this company. We have found another company to take over.

Recently I contracted Bell Cow to complete some general repairs around my home including new flooring and some repairs to my deck. Everyone Bell Cow sent to my home was courteous and professional and I am extremely happy with the results, communication, and turnaround times. Bell Cow Heating and Cooling did a great job installing a new water heater in our garage and removing the old unit from the crawl space. They performed all plumbing and electrical work for the job and completed everything in one day. The work was to a high standard and it looked like the new water heater was part of the original home construction when they were done. The city inspector said he wished all companies did such an outstanding job. I highly recommend Bell Cow for installing water heaters.

We had multiple quotes for getting our home re-piped, everything being original from the build date of 1994. Bell Cow obviously won us over with their supreme confidence, polite manner, affordability, and overall quality customer experience. They respected our home and belongings, as well as our personal well being by maintaining 6 feet and masks at all times when interacting with us.

Jeremy and Elicio (SP) were a great team, worked extended hours to fix a few issues they brought to my attention outside of their planned work load. I want to STRESS the fact they did not press the issues they found. They brought it to my attention to address while they were there, in the future, or not at all. No sale was pushed on me at all. We had a minor gas leak, which turned out to be lack of proper torque spec and sealant on the gas line. They also noticed a clogged valve on the main water line. They replaced it for us and GREATLY improved our water pressure in the home. For perspective, we could ONLY Shower, run the dish washer, OR the clothes washer. Now with the fixed valve, we can do all three at the same time with no pressure issues.

In summary, these guys are highly recommended for their plumbing expertise and services. Incredibly friendly from the technicians to the office administration team. A job truly well done and a very happy customer, we will definitely be returning for future services.

I’m particular about the work I have done and Bell Cow exceeded my expectations. Ronnie and Hunter arrived within the scheduled time frame. They were courteous, and the quality of work was excellent. When they were finished they cleaned up after themselves. My experience was positive and I recommend this company.

We had our bath shower combination converted to a shower stall recently, and I was extremely happy with the work done. It was high quality, and the polite, helpful, and professional gentleman who did the destruction and installation we're great. Apart from a few communication issues, it was a great experience.

I was glad the Bell Cow team could come out the same day I called, and cleaned my sewer drain. They were well equipped and quick with their work.

Bell Cow personnel and especially Matthew did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. They took extreme care to ensure that all work was performed to specification and in a quality manner. In addition, they made suggestions for different tile options, and were flexible when we requested additional work to be done.

Terrible, they scheduled between 8-12n, didn't call, we called their office 5 times, the manager never returned our call. The service technician didn't show up to our home until 6:40pm. We asked for them to take money off of our bill for the inconvenience and poor customer service, that was an argument they offered to remove $60. Will not EVER use them or recommend them again, EVER!

Not only did the first tech tell us our malfunctioning furnace was fine, but the second one we demanded they send out didn't warn us it could be leaking gas. Three days later we had to call PSNC to check for leaks since the smell in the house was overwhelming. The gas guy showed us where the furnace was shutting down so that unignited gas was flowing over the unlit burners and pouring into the house.

TL;DR -- we could've been very sick or dead through Bell Cow's incompetence. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE.

EDIT: We had asked the 2nd tech for an estimate for a new furnace ASAP so we could get it replaced. After a business day passed with no response, we called and were told they were working on it. They never got back to us with an estimate. Also, the company emailed me asking me to change my review since they had refunded our service call charges. We had not received any refund and even if we had it would not change what actually happened.

Horrible experience so far. We had a tech come out on Tuesday 10/9 and we were happy with the quote and asked them to proceed with repairs. Tech said he would be back on Friday 10/12 at 8:30. We called the office 3 times before the tech finally called us back to say. O someone should have contacted you, this was pushed back to Tuesday. Excuse me? My husband took the day off work to be there. No one called to notify us or reschedule. Some Manager is suppose to call us back, still haven't gotten that phone call. This company has lost all credibility before they even started. Do not waste your time. It will be a long drawn out process!

Bell Cow was immediately responsive to my call. Repair date was set for 48 hours later. Eric, the technician, was great - on time, knowledgeable, located and repaired the problem quickly and the price was fair. I had the same good experience when Bell Cow did the installation two years ago.

Good experience with Bell Cow, had a sink, faucet, and garbage disposal replaced and they were able to do it all on the first visit. The company was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable...Mike Dawson, the technician, even had to modify my sink cutout due to the new sink being a little bigger than the old one, which is not the kind of work they normally do. Thanks Mike!

Quick Turnaround times. Completed work as needed. Went above and beyond.

It took one week to have the appointment. The person answer the phone is not polite at all. Strage company.

Bell Cow should be proud to have Eric as a service technician. He was here to give my system a routine checkup. He called ahead of time to let me know when to expect his arrival. He checked everything on my heat pump and found my Goodman system to be working perfectly. I would recommend Bell Cow and the Goodman HVAC system to anyone. Tim was our technician today and he was great! He called to let me know he was on his way with plenty of notice. He was personable and gave me a few tips to help our system run better, once he was done cleaning our unit. After having to deal with a different hvac company that kept telling us our heat was working fine * if you consider cold air coming out my vents fine* and giving us the run around we were put in contact with bell cow. They came out and immediately figured out what the problem was. The part was ordered but was defective when time came for install. The techs and customer service reps were very apologetic and worked very hard to get the defective part shipped and installed. They called us the day the new part came in and came out to replace. We are now enjoying our heat and feel very confident that the problem was fixed. The techs are great, they took time to explain everything in a way that made sense. Even showed us the reason why the heat wasnt working. I hope in the future my home warranty company uses bell cow if we need anymore hvac work.
