The HVAC in my old house ran constantly in both summer and winter but never hit the temperatures set on the thermostat. The electricity bills were exorbitant. I called Cape Fear Air to assess the problem. As it turns out there were many, many issues with the original installation with uninsulated ducts, ducts of the wrong size, way too many ducts, insufficient air return, and more. Tom and Tony came out to remediate the problems and did an outstanding job. The HVAC works 100% better, the house is comfortably cooled/heated as required but the heat pumps do not need to run all the time. Electric bills dropped immediately to half what they were before. Would definitely use this company again.

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. It was obvious that the wax seal had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I researched plumbers on YELP and found that CK Plumbing had excellent reviews. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

Michael Carbon is an absolute pleasure to work with guy. He did his job patiently, diligently , professionally and as promised on time and with high quality.
I had my old water heater leaking and called Michael on 07/27 , he came within an hours time , diagnosed the defect, offered me a reasonable estimate for the tankless heater of my choice , ordered it on Amazon and visited my house on 08/01 as soon as he got the delivery and fixed it to my satisfaction up & running.
I would recommend Michael to anyone who needs to replace / install new tankless water heater.

We called Mr. Fuller because he had done work for us before. This Time we called he came out to get measurements for a shower install. That was in April, we waited and called NO RESPONSE. On May 30 th. They called and said they would be out on June 1st. To get started at 10 Am. No call no show. Finally got ahold of them in FB messenger, we asked for a refund. So far no response to any calls or FB messenger messages. I called about a week ago got some one on the line finally after about a month. She said she would tell the owner to call me back, so far nothing. This is going on way to long. Not happy with them at all.

I have been going to Air Experts for years as they nurse along my old (13 years) HVAC system with their maintenance plan. Sometimes they replace parts that are on the verge of failing, so I have never had a problem with my system when I've needed it. I have full confidence that they are honest. One of the things I like best is that they do not pressure me to use them to replace my filter. I'm not comfortable taking my furnace apart, but changing a filter is no problem and it's much cheaper to do on my own.Their technicians are always extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. They always explain any work clearly and help me to decide the best course of action.I realize that the maintenance plans may seem like a scam to some. I didn't buy them when my system was new. But then one summer the drain for my heat pump got clogged and caused a small flood in an adjoining closet. That's when I realized that having someone clean all this stuff twice/year was worth it to me. I'd much rather pay a little bit annually rather than have to worry about something catastrophic when it's either really hot or really cold and I desperately need my system to work.

Our house is at the age where we're changing out hot water heaters, updating plumbing fixtures, etc and every time we have needed them their technician has been prompt, professional, and got the job done at a very fair price. I once 'strayed' and tried a friend-of-a-friend's plumbing company....was quoted $900+ for the handful of items that needed doing....sent them packing, called Cecil Davis Plumbing and they came out and did the same work for about half the price.
