We are not on city sewer and have a septic tank with a warning alarm where we live. The alarm was tripped on a Sunday afternoon and we knew we either needed the tank pumped or maybe our pump failed. We experienced this before and knew we needed to get service ASAP. Monday morning I called PDX Sewer Solutions to help us out. Rob took my call and discuss options with me. He came over quickly (within 1-2 hours) to take a look and assess our situation. He was able to what we needed and he helped us right away. Rob was so kind and easy to work with. He explained everything in detail and the price was lower than other companies we have used in the past. I am an extremely happy customer and they will be my first call the next time we need service. Mario is amazing. Very easy to work with. Talks over the phone and tells you how things are in a way you can understand. In my case he came out to unplug the drain to the septic instead he helped us find out our septic tank and showed me that it was full and needed pumped. He didn’t even charge me for the trip although he certainly could have as his service was valuable. I highly recommend Smitty’s if you’re looking for a place where you can quickly get a response from a human who will treat you fairly and do very good work if you need it.

My drains clogged and sewage overflowed into my basement. Within an hour of my call, someone arrived from Mr Rooter. He checked out the problem, explained what needed to be done, gave me a price for cleaning out the drains and took care of the problem. He was professional, friendly and did a great job.

I recently purchased a new home. The last owner was a cancer survivor and had unknowingly burst the pipe in the master shower from the copious amounts of hair that had accumulated in such a short amount of time. Steve was able to clear it out quickly and with no problem, even though he said it was the most amount of hair he'd ever seen in his career. He was friendly and worked quickly and I would recommend him to anyone who is having drain issues.

Both times I have called needing assistance with plumbing they have a plumber there the next morning. Knowledgeable plumbers who tell you what needs to be done and done right. Expect to pay some money though, plumbing is not cheap!

I have never experienced such a horrible person when contacting this company. He was rude and condescending and literally told me how dare I reach out to him on a holiday weekend. If you cannot deal with customers, regardless of the date, find a receptionist who knows how to speak to people with respect and dignity or maybe wait till your precious holiday weekend is over to return a phone call. I will not use this company again strictly based on how I was spoken to. I don't know who you are to the company but you should learn to speak to people like an adult.
