Jason was great! My kitchen sink was really blocked. I could hardly run any water before it was just stuckn - and it took a bunch of time to finally drain. I'm quite happy with the results!

We had been battling a slow flushing toilet for over a week. I called for repair and they were able to get someone out within a couple hours! I called to help solve a blocked sewer line, and was quoted $550 for the job. However, I'm now out $550 and my problem was not resolved. While the service was prompt, the technician was courteous, I can't help but feel disappointed that quote did not achieve what I was expecting. I would've appreciated a much more detailed breakdown of what was/wasn't covered in the initial bid, or more in-depth analysis of the problem before the technician performed the work. I does me know good to have part of my main sewer line cleaned if I still can't use the water in my house. The toughest piece to swallow is that I was given a 1 month estimate as to when they would be able to resolve the issue.

We had 2 bathroom sinks that were draining slowly, so it was by no means an emergency. We had a service guy out within about an hour. Scotty was polite, friendly and efficient. He quickly solved the problem and even asked if we wanted him to look at anything else while he was there. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Brian and Cameron from Mr. Rooter. After a few bad experiences with plumbers, it was a relief to work with these guys. They arrived on time, did a quality job and were really nice people on top of it. We will absolutely continue to use them and recommend them going forward, thanks for making our plumbing experience a great one! :)

Very timely. Next day diagnostic and water heater replaced 2 days later. Never had to ask where the plumber was, never had to question the service quality, never had to fear being overcharged. One of the best service appointments ever for a major household item. Excellent!

My only concern: Initial call (to perhaps phone center) told me that they do not work on weekends but I called back and got the local office who said that they can.

Quick and professional.
Exceptional work was done to a main water leak. Not only did the tech(s) know where to look but advised of other companies to come and better locate exact location of a major leak. And they went out of their way (I mean going to another outfit) to get the right parts and have them assembled properly based on our water line (older home).
The integrity and professionalism of these fine young men (techs) and the very nice ladies at the office tells me that this company has high standards in quality service and respect for their customers. I will be a returning customer in the future.

Definitely on the pricey side, but they got it taken care of quickly and easily. From my first phone call to the end of the job being completed was maybe 3 hours, most other places I called couldn't have anybody out for a day or two or even a week. Dude was super friendly and helpful too.
Kitchen sink backed up along with bathroom bathtub (ick).Contacted Mr. ROoter Friday evening and scheduled an early Saturday morning visit. Tech arrived as planned. Very personable and hard working. Our issue was more complex than expected and 4 hours later the clog was pushed through and cleared.

There are numerous boxes to check off when being satisfied with a company who you fork over thousands of dollars to. Mr. Rooter Plumbing checks off most of these with satisfaction.
The employees are great; friendly, professional and treat your pets and family with care and respect. The three individuals (two visits) were great. Communication was detailed and clear (although sometimes after something was done).
For our specific situation, we had two major issues. One was that our water heater was on its last leg. It was over 20 years old and could have gone out any day, truthfully. So the original issue was that it needed to be reignited.
The pilot light somehow had gotten turned off and I could not get it back on with a few tries so I thought it was toast. During the first visit they reignited it and it worked fine. That was around $320. A bit steep, but worth it for me to learn i could do it myself if it were to happen again. During that trip, they quoted me for another a new installed water heater with a few add-ons I wanted ($2,400).
The second issue occurred a few weeks later. Our master bath toilet wouldn't stop running. I knew it was probably just a part, but we were getting new flooring in our upstairs bathrooms and figured they can come out, fix our issue at the same time they install our water heater. All those needs i figured maybe we could get some kind of deal?
They set the two toilets upstairs, replaced one fill part in the master and a few small parts for around $1200. So much for a break on price.
They did end up adjusting a few things and we received a bit of money back, but I would think for a company who is here anyway, we should have gotten the toilets set at no cost. Or at least a significant discount.
Overall, I'd say they are expensive, but they are also professional and do quality work. I don't think Mr. Rooter is any different than other companies in their pricing and lack of major discount in situations like ours, but they are a solid company to work with.

I used to dream of finding a plumber / plumbing service I could love and heartily recommend to friends. My dreams have come true with this crew of courteous, kind, hardworking, on-time, and HONEST professionals. They recently cleaned out a drain for me just an hour or so after I called. They have the client's best interest in mind -- how refreshing!
I got a bid from them a while back for an expensive job (recommended by realtors and house inspector) which they determined was unnecessary. They could've taken on the work and made some money, but instead, they helped us get to the truth of the matter and we didn't have to do the messy, expensive job. How often does that happen? Seriously.
This company is great and I'll call them every time I've got a plumbing, drain, sump pump, sewer line, etc., need. Hooray!

They worked us in on short notice, we’re super helpful and informative, and quoted our repairs at half the price of the last plumber we saw about the same issues.

I received amazing service from Jason at Mr. Rooter. He cleaned all of my drains including a nasty fat clog in my Kitchen drain that was preventing me from using my kitchen sink. He also spent some time snaking my shower drain since the previous home owner cleaned their dog often in the shower and it was draining extremely slowly. He saved me tons of future work and I feel better knowing that my drains are clean all the way down to my main line. I would recommend this service to others in the future!

A few days prior had the pipes/drains under my house replaced and the plumbers couldn't unclog the bathtub drain after replacing the tub drain.
Called Mr.Rooter and within the hour someone was here and in less than 10 minutes from being here had the drain cleared.
We had a leak in an upstairs bathroom. Down through a light fixture in the lower level. Chris was on time. Got right into the issue & took a very short time finding the problem. Even though he could have told me a more expensive way to fix the problem was necessary, he chose to use creative thinking & fixed it on the spot. Yes, I would recommend this company!

My hot water heater started leaking on Saturday afternoon, and I called a few plumbers who were unable to help me right away. Since I have a baby it was necessary for me to have this repaired ASAP. Mr Rooter of Portland informed me that there was an emergency opening and they were at my place within the hour.
The man they sent was so kind and professional. They needed a special permission to install the water heater since I live in a townhouse, but they were able to make it happen the following day.
Again, they were VERY friendly, professional, and did quality work. I’d recommend this business to anyone!

Our water heater died and with 5 people in the house that is a rather urgent situation. The holiday weekend was approaching and I couldn't get a response from other companies. I almost gave up but decided to give Mr. Rooter a try. They had a service person (Kevin) at my door within 30 minutes! I didn't hear back from the other companies for 3 days. By that time, Kevin was already installing my new water heater! In addition, the service charge for diagnosing the problem was 40% lower!
Mr. Rooter was able to fit me into the schedule on the same day. The plumber was fast and courteous and left no trace of his work other than a professional job that will last much longer than the plumbing I could have installed. Highly recommend.

We had an emergency leak at the kitchen sink faucet on a weekend. Called Mr. Rooter because they advertised being open on weekends. So glad we did. Annie and Mayra took our info and scheduled us for same day service. Rick appeared quickly and immediately assessed the problem, got together the needed parts, and put in a new faucet. Made us all very happy. No more mopping up every hour. Very pleased with quality service.
This was my second time working with Brian from Mr. Rooter. He is respectful, efficient and solution-oriented. His team removed an old cast iron bath tub, install the new tub and replace all my water pipes and shut off valves. They did good work and left the house clean. I will continue to use Brian and team for my plumbing needs.

I cannot say enough good things about our emergency service this week. He went above and beyond and even answered a question related to something else that had not been done properly by a different company, completely unrelated to the clogged drain. He had a positive attitude, was knowledgeable and just a really great help for us. We will definitely be using them again for any services that would apply.

The team I worked with was AMAZING I appreciate them to the fullest they had professionalism, were very informative, and also sympathetic to my issue we had a previous plumber come out he made a huge mess and even dug up my neighbors yard to find the issue (that wasn't there) When Mr. Rooters team came out they assets and fixed the issue the same day. Contractors working on the outside of the house, last Friday evening, drilled through a stud that had a water pipe running through it. I called 16 different people to come out to fix the problem but only Mr Rooter responded and arrived on scene in less than a hour. Cam saw the issue, gave me an estimate and once I signed off, he went to work. He was clean, precise and very professional and we had our water back on in no time. If not for them, we would have been without water for at least the entire weekend since no other plumbers work on the weekend. Cam even pointed out a couple of other issues seen that he could help with and sent me an estimate the next day.
I've used these guys a number of times and they are fast and responsive. I called on a Sunday night and they got there immediately. Enough said!
We had an unexpected 8 gallon per minute leak due to a rupture in the main line. I called Mr. Rooter and they were at our home the very next day to determine the leak location. This was located in a difficult area under concrete and they explained that entire process in detail and provided an estimate and turn time right away. The process was extensive but it was obvious the Mr. Rooter cared and worked diligently to repair the issue. I highly recommend them.
They came to my house at 9:30 PM to unclog my toilet. A real lifesaver!

I can honestly share a great experience, I was unable to locate my sewer line clean-out on my house. I had had 2 other plumbers try to locate unsuccessfully. Mr rooter came out and was not only able to locate it but was also able to unblock my main line clog the technician was great and was very professional. Great service at an affordable price. I will only call Mr. rooter in the future for all my pluming issues.

Very professional but, very high priced. I was quoted almost $800 for a fairly simple clogged drain that need to be cleared and reseat a toilet. Way overpriced for 2 hours of work. i turned down their estimate.

I had them over mostly for a slow drain in one bathroom, which they scoped and flushed, fixing the problem. I had been wanting to get the toilets replaced so got that done too. While waiting for one of the crew to get the other toilet the others cleaned out the tub faucet cartridge and attached a sink stopper to its linkage. Well worth the price because they go above and beyond. Highly recommend and would hire for future work.

We were having a back up from the showers and toilet, we had water all over, I called and they said it could be 2 hours or sooner if possible. We received the call that the tech would be here within 20 minutes and he was on time and cleared up the backup in a timely manner. We had a motel production washer that had a backflow clog in the pipe. Tech responded immediately to my call for service and came out within a couple of hours. He was professional, wore his PPE throughout the service, explained what the issue was and discussed thoroughly with me what the process would entail. Changing a plastic compression valve to a metal/brass one under my kitchen sink is a 15-20 min job. They charged me $430 for it. They don't give you a quote over the phone. They charge you $85 dollars for checking out the job and give you a quote and waive it if you accept their quote.
Overall I think it's very expensive 🫰

OMG. I had a kitchen sink and bathroom sink clog. I called another company and they said they would send someone out that day between 2-6pm. I waited missing a dinner with friends. They called at 6 to tell me the technician was running late and they would reschedule for the next day 10-2. By 2 I was a wreck. I looked on the internet and called several companies. The only one that answered in person was Mr Rooter. I explained what had happened. A technician was available and they would send them out in the next 1/2 hour. Cody showed up in 20 minutes. He was efficient and got right to work. I explained that we were missing our granddaughters 3rd birthday party, he said he thought it would be quick unless something else was wrong. He explained what he was going to do. He have us an estimate and got right to work. He had both sinks flowing in no time. He cleaned up everything and explained what to do in the future to eliminate the need for future visits!!! Great, quick, friendly service! Our new go to company
We called the day after Thanksgiving, and I was worried nobody would be able to come out that day, but they sent someone over in just a few hours. Rico from Mr. Rooter was super nice and got our garbage disposal fixed in no time, and even cleaned up afterward. The price was totally reasonable. Water line from curb meter to house started leaking due to Doug fir tree root expansion. Occurred on a Saturday when few plumbing establishments have staff working outside normal business hours. Called numerous companies and Mr Rooter Plumbing of PDX was only company that had technician in area. He arrived, assessed situation, gave rough quote to repair, checked available supplies in his service truck, and then began work. Designed and implemented a solution that will keep tree root from compromising water line for many years to come. Tested his solution and cleaned up site, payment was made and off he went to next customer. Not least expensive but you get what you pay for.
