This is who I call every time the lot gets clogged up. They are good about following up on a regular basis if I ever forget to get a hold of them. It’s great to have such a great company to work with.

As someone who owns a business in the service industry, it is refreshing to find a company who goes above and beyond for their customers. A local plumber recommended them. They arrived same day and did an outstanding job. They even explained the septic system and how it all worked. I couldn't be happier with their services. The price was right and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

GREAT JOB! We had a complicated plumbing situation and had to have a new sewer pump and tank. They were not able to complete the job the same day, but they did the following day and everything works PERFECTLY! Everything was neat and tidy, We could not be happier!

I realize this may come as a shock to some people, but calling around for help with your septic system is not the highlight of any day, month or year. Calling River City makes that a whole lot easier. The dispatch customer service person is always sweet and helpful. The work is always done when they say it will be and only for the prices they tell us we will pay.

When I worked at a hotel doing management work we hit some problems with the parking lot. My manager asked me to make some calls and find someone to conduct an inspection and offer ideas to reconstruct it in a way that would be better for our customers. Only the customer service agent at River City was kind enough to walk me through the process, allowed me to ask questions, and made me feel like I wasn't just an errand boy doing the bidding of the boss. When we did end up hiring them, they had the whole parking lot done before the deadline they expected to. It was fantastic.

River City truly is the best, when they say that they are 24/7, they really mean it and do respond. They are professional, caring, pleasant, on time, work hard, and do an exceptional job from managing your calls to performing service needed! I highly recommend using this company, they are the best!!!!!

This is the company that takes care of our septic system when there is a problem of for routine maintenance. They are super nice and ever since they fixed our septic system a few years back, we only deal with them. They are on time, reliable, and stick to their quote. Great job guys! Here in the Northwest, the weather can be unpredictable. Last spring, after a few days of heavy rain, my yard was completely flooded. We couldn't get in or out. I called River City Environmental and they were out there within hours, reviewing options and getting started. Their help limited water damage to my property. I am very happy with their service.

I requested River City Environmental services, because I've had a clogged drain in one of my businesses. The specific service I requested was jetting the pipe lines and camera. When the guy from River City came, he assessed the job and suggested the snaking, instead of what I requested for in the beginning. I trusted him, as he was supposed to be the Professional . After about 7 days later, the drain was clogged again!
The fact of my business was closed for a few days for the Holidays. I paid for snaking and sewer cleaning $1,102 that time. I called to ask about the warranty for their services and they say they don't offer any warranty. I asked to talk to the manager whose name is Jared, and he listened to the recorded phone call when the lady said:  Yes and No offer warranty.
I got a money refund for Overcharges and not for the warranty.

I called River City to redo what it was not correctly done, and still, I was charged $491 on my card which was about $220 more than what the manager and I agreed for jetting and camera. I had to call again to ask to charge me for the right amount.

It was a hassle dealing with this company, I don't recommend them.

The company I work for usually relies on River City to take care of our office lots. After a storm one weekend, we came back to a mess and a flooded lot. They were fast about getting out to us and had everything flowing like normal in no time. They even followed up after the storm that followed.

Grease Trap Cleaning - always on schedule and work clean at reasonable cost

River City’s great team came to our house to clear the problem with our septic tank. They were all very friendly, outgoing, and arrived on time. They provided us with the necessary information and explained each step of the process. I highly recommend this company.

We decided to upgrade our summer cabin. We needed a company to fill an artificial pond. We contacted River City Environmental for an estimate. They provided a very fair price for the amount of water they would have to haul up a mountain. They delivered exactly as promised.

A disaster in the water main flooded the basement of our building. It could have been much worse if it was not addressed immediately. We called River city Environmental. They brought their Guzzler truck and fixed the problem at the cost we agree on.

Responded quickly. Cleaned out all our Gutters.

We use River City at work for the lot maintenance. When the sceptic tank at my aunt's house started filling her leech field, I called them too because they have always been reliable and good about the price.

River City Environmental is a very honest and professional company. I have used them with my business and with my very own house. They have always stepped up when I needed them, even coming out on a holiday weekend when I had a septic emergency that wouldn’t wait.

I have used River City Environmental for many years on a variety of jobs. Recently, however, they decided to NOT charge my credit card for the amount that I had signed for at the end of the work at the job site. Instead of the $290.00 invoice for which I signed, they charged my credit card $1,062.15! They admitted to an error in the material cost but stuck with the increased labor charges as well as a brand new fuel surcharge that was not on the invoice I signed. I even sent the accounting department a photo I had of the tech's computer screen that was the only invoice they could give me. The $290.00 job ended up costing me $350.40.
To be clear, the repair work performed was fine, and very timely. Their current invoicing system and accounting department are not to be trusted. It is is bothersome to feel like this company does not value a repeat customer after so many years.

They showed up late. Their equipment didn't work. They had to come back out and tried to charge me extra. They offered a partial refund but instead charged my card again. They sent video through the mail, and the video is such low quality I am surprised they found a camera that bad. How do you not have the ability to send video online? Every step of this transaction has been a slog.

Great office communication. Their drivers and techs are safe and efficient.

Calling around for estimates on a problem usually leads to really widely under priced suggested totals. River City is the difference. After getting the parking lot taken care of, we only paid what they said we would. That is amazing!

They charged me exactly what they said they would and had phenomenal customer service. I’d highly recommend them if you’re in the market for septic system services. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

I get so drained by the whole process of asking contractors and companies for pricing to get stuff done. I stopped doing that after the first time I called River City Environmental. They have always been up front and straight on about the price. I have never paid more than they told me I would before the project started.

I would highly recommend these guys for dropbox service, particularly if you're on a difficult-to-navigate worksite. We live on a wicked driveway that many large vehicles have found treacherous, and have gotten stuck on, but Gary made it up and out with grace and ease. Well done!

Terrible. Avoid at all costs. It is 7/14/19 , exactly one month after firing off a letter describing the several problems they caused on a simple septic-dosing-tank pump replacement......and guess what? Absolutely ZERO response.

From their lackadaisical attitude about making MULTIPLE billing errors (including one that approached outright fraud...I have a copy) to the need to keep sending guys out to my house at $300-400 a pop, to essentially ignoring my original complaint....I wound up paying nearly $3000 to replace a $900 pump. They had to pump my tank twice because they never diagnosed the pump failure originally (because the right guy wasn't sent until LATER), sent multiple people out to do repeat work and the end result was over $900 in unnecessary, repeat services (2 septic tank pump-outs and an unnecessary plumber visit to tell me what I already knew from another guy.) Add to that, $600 in billing errors, that took multiple calls and emails and a couple weeks for each one to resolve. Not impressive

The various folks that actually did the work were awesome. Professional and courteous.....but their mgmt team has set them up to fail by not having someone manage the process from beginning to end. And their lack of response to my letter is telling. Avoid.

This is a great company. They were on time and they did their jobs fast. They also charged me what they said they would which is great.

When the pipes in my house were backed up they were the only company I’d trust to do the job. Quick service at a great price. I didn’t get charged more than what they had told me before they started the job.

This company was referred to me by our home inspector. I called in the morning and was greeted with excitement and great service. I was told it would be no problem to get a septic inspection set up, had a temporary account setup and was told to ask the owners to call in and state we had permission to schedule an inspection. I was told I’d get a call back to confirm the inspection. 4 hours after getting confirmation from my realtor that the owners had called and granted access, I called rose city back as id not received a call from them.
I was told they could no longer do the inspection as they stated to me hours before that they could. I asked why I was given conflicting information and I was hung up on. I would not recommend this company to anybody who expects any level of customer service in their transactions. They might be cheap, but if their service is anything like their customer service, you’ll want to avoid it like the plague.

Wouldn't even give it one star. Ordered water for my pool, filled it with gross rusty water. It is now 1/2 full with bright orange water. In the past I have received two truckloads of clean water but this time. one truckload of rusty water and they tried to charge me more then I had paid in the past. The girl on the phone said you ordered water and we brought you water, I understand it not usable but it still water .
Needless to say, not paying the bill, not using them ever again and sadly still no full pool.

Our service person came to drain our grease trap. He was professional, quick, on time, and clean.

We bought a new house and discovered it had a septic tank thanks to a flooding leach field. River City Environmental did an assessment and completed the job in that budget and time. We were back to normal in no time thanks to their professional work!

When I was working on a parking lot for another company, I found myself impressed with the layout of the lines and optimization of the space. Once the job was done, I discovered it had been planned out by River City. I want to learn from the best so, I’m applying to work for them now. I’m looking forward to finding out if I can start soon!

This company is unprofessional, rude, and unethical.

Scheduled appointment first thing in morning more than a week in advance, and took a day off from my work to be present. Was assured by scheduler and dispatch that this was a done deal. No workers arrived and was given no explanation or apology.

Horrible service and office staff. Would give 0 stars if we could. Needed results of the inspection for the sale of our home. Got the run around from the office staff and was told it could take up to 5 business days to locate the inspection paperwork because it was with the billing department. Called for 2 days with no improvement and no report. We paid before the service was completed then there didn't seem to be any urgency in providing the results to us. The person performing the work did decide to discuss the results of the work with the buyer's realtor though. Also did not appear on time to perform the work and cancelled once. We never got our report. Also, they kept our credit card info on file and charged us for a service without our authorization! Please don't use this company. You may save money, but you get what you pay for in the end!

I've used them for a few years for grease trap maintenance and they were rarely on time. Lately, they no called no showed twice in a row. I still haven't heard back from them. Time to find a different company.

No one wants to wake up to a soggy yard, but that happened to me last year. My septic tank failed and there was such a mess to clean up! Thank goodness for River City Environmental. They have 24/7 emergency services and we were able to fix the issue quickly and helped with cleanup. I definitely recommend their service to anyone!

I had a great experience working with River City Environmental and I would highly recommend them. The staff was very nice and professional. I had to hook up to the City Sewer and decommission my septic tank onsite. These guys did the whole job, including putting my fence back up!

Not happy that I had to pay to hook up to the sewer but at least these guys quoted me the cheapest amount around and stuck to the price when I received my final bill.

These guys on the job took incredible care and attention to detail. They kept my assistant and I in the loop by providing step by step information of the industrial cleanup we hired them to do. They made an incredibly difficult job look easy. It was also clear that they went above and beyond to ensure the safety of our business.

Our toilets were bubbling. We were using a natural solution to try to clear the problem, but we live in the middle of open fields that were flooding. We got in touch with River City Environmental. They came and drained the septic system. They told us that if we would have waited much longer, we would have had to replace the whole system. Thank you for your help.

I had David from River City out on my jobsite today with a vac truck to help us locate a leaking water main. He was super professional, timely, clean, and a diligent worker. He got everything opened we needed opened, and even washed the dirt off the side of our truck before he was done. It customer service was solid. They sure aren’t cheap, but it was well worth it in area cover with large roots and utilities.

I had a great experience working with River City Environmental and I would highly recommend them. The staff was very nice and professional. I had to hook up to the City Sewer and decommission my septic tank onsite. These guys did the whole job, including putting my fence back up!

We live in Milwaukie and had a major problem with rainwater overflow problems on our 140 ft. driveway which were impacting our neighbors! But thanks to a very quick response, by River City Environmental, a fast clean out of our 2 catch basins and installation of 2 catch basin debris screens our problem was fixed and we avoided a potential lawsuit.

It was a basic website to me explaining their services and clean up and basic septic snow roof removal and other. As other services to do with cleanup I thought that it was a basic website and that it was playing in basic to the point and that it explain what it had to do with their company services and got directly to the point and that's about it.

Drivers are inconsiderate and rude

We just had Ruben out to pump a tank in Oregon city and he did a wonderful job like always I told River city they need to clone at least five more Rubens I highly recommend it to them!

Had an absolute catastrophe happen at the restaurant I manage. Called River City for emergency service and they had someone out here in less than an hour. Couldn’t resolve the issue right away but Brad came to meet me at 8am sharp to rectify the issue. Totally killed it. Stellar work, great attitude, would definitely use again and recommend. Thanks guys!

Once, when we were looking into moving we walked on to a property that had an overflowing leach field. It was disgusting and we didn't know what it was at the time. River City was good about answering questions even though I wasn't about to be a customer at that point. Since then we did purchase a home with a septic system. They have been good about assessing it for us and I'm glad I know where to call if we ever end up with a leach field issue.

I had a heavy oil spill from a fuel tanker accident. I called River City Environmental for emergency service. I thought the emergency service was going cost me much more I was charged. I am glad we called River City.

Having the right person on both ends of a project is incredible. Calling about our parking lot helped us resolve more issues than I realized. The person on the phone was informative. The person who showed up to do the assessment made the difference.

We bought an old carwash, but it was in dire need of a carwash pit maintenance. We thought we could take care of it ourselves, but it was way beyond our pay-grade. The pro's at River City Environmental got the job done right!

My office complex needed the drains cleared and the lot repainted. Many of the lines and curbs were faded or falling apart. One call to River City and everything was good to go. They quoted me the price they actually charged me when the work was done too. I’ll be calling them again when we need more work after the season is over.

I called River City Environmental on Sunday and the got my septic pumped on Monday Morning. These guys was very nice & helped with some roots in the tank. Competitively priced as well. Thanks River City! Would use them for future septic and plumbing work.

River City Environmental provided amazing sewer service at my residence. They provided an incredible service and their quote was right on the mark, as originally quoted. They treated my property as their own. I can tell this company takes a lot of pride in their work and excellent service.

Very easy to work with. We used their service to fill our pool.

I rented 3 porta potties from them for a family reunion party at my house. They were late delivering and the toilets were dirty and needed to be hosed out on site. There was no soap in the dispensers and one didn’t hss as be a toilet paper holder in it. They were supposed to be picked up on Monday and they no call no showed. I called on Wednesday as they were still not picked up and were stinky and they said they’d come clean them and then pick up Thursday or Friday. It’s now Thursday morning and nobody came to clean them. Because of the hot weather we had to keep our windows open at night and smelled stinky porta potty all night! We’ll see if they actually come to get them today, I’ll keep you posted. I am never using this company again for portable toilets, it’s been nothing but issues from the start.
Update: They came out to clean them on Thursday night and the truck pump made a terrible loud noise and started smoking like crazy, so no go on pumping. They came back out on Friday and pumped them and back on Saturday to pick them up.

It was time for our septic tank to be emptied and cleaned. I called around and the best quote I got was fro. River City Environmental. The whole team was courteous and efficient. I will definitely be using them in the future.

River City pumped my tank back in 2016 when I bought my house and they did a fine job. I called them at 5:30 pm on a Monday to come out and pump again in 2020, they were not able to make it the Tuesday but fit me into their schedule Wednesday morning. That seems reasonable based on my late call and from the 3 calls I made, you won’t find a better price.

Overpriced and horrible sweeping done. Charge Minimum then say there are other options after complaining second time. 2 hour minimum normally covers drive time. I get charged for 3 hours, your sweeper isn't here for more than a half hour, raises so much dust that it becomes a traffic hazard for the freeway. So after complaining I get charged for your driver stopping at the local store for a half hour for a total of a 3 1/2 hour job when he wasn't even here 30 minutes. So not fair. Hoping to find a better company to work with then RIVER CITY ENVIRONMENTAL, in PORTLAND, OR

EDIT: After this was brought to their attention, the company has pulled its employees out, apologized, and offered to buy pizza for the OccupyICE folks. Much better!

Starting work at 5:30 AM is against city noise ordanince. Reported to the Portland noise officer.

I had a bathroom plumbing emergency and River City Environment came out promptly. There were no hidden charges and the price that was quoted was honored. I definitely recommend this company for great service and fair rates.

I love this place. They are quick to get the work done. They are honest about what things will cost and never hide fees for the end of a project. It is such a relief to be able to call them for a job and know I can not only afford it, but it won’t be out of my budget once they have finished. Can’t beat that anywhere!

When there was an accident that resulted in an overturned tanker that spilled dangerous chemicals and it happened in the middle of the night, River City Environmental was there to clean that mess up. In all my years of dealing with problems like this, I never have seen a more professional group of people in an emergency situation.

River City Environmental had great customer service that greets you with smiles and priority. A happy culture of local neighbors with the best prices in the area. I recommend them to anyone in need of water services.

While purchasing a house with a septic system (our first septic system), we had limited time for inspections to be done, as is normal while purchasing a house. We hired River City to handle the job.

Their inability to communicate from the very beginning was baffling.

The day of the inspection and pumping we got a call for payment, fine. Before even hiring them we were told that we would have our inspection report within 48 hours. After several days and an unknown number of phone calls we finally got them to email a copy of it to us.

Meanwhile we were contacted by an excavator about digging up the D Box because it was too deep to hand dig and OSHA requires shoring for holes that deep, fine. We were then told that it would be approximately an additional $1,000 or more on top of the original $635 that we already paid. So we canceled that part of the service.

Now, finally, 2 weeks after our service we receive a copy of the inspection report and the invoice that shows what we paid but at the same time noticed that there was another charge to our credit card a week after the first one for another $300.

Their explanation of the delay in receiving our report, the additional charges and the fact that no one could communicate with us leaves me to say...DO NOT USE RIVER CITY ENVIROMENTAL!! For the kind of money you are paying, you deserve a lot more respect!

I had been getting hints that I had to do something about cleaning out the septic system for months. It was my fault that it caved. It was horrible! There was no way we could live with the results. I called River City Environmental and they came to the rescue. The staff and customer service there are all real professionals. You are not left in the dark about anything.

We really like River City Environmental. They have taken care of our tanks for years. The work is quality and the price is always a great quote. Since they have been servicing our system, we have not had any problems.

I think River City saved my house. They responded so fast to the yuck in my yard and that’s how I discovered we weren’t on the sewer system, but a septic tank. They took such good care of us that I couldn’t be more satisfied by how well they handled everything.

I used River City Environmental based on a recommendation and could not be more displeased with the service provided. I'm only giving 2 stars because the man who performed the service was kind. I was charged more than $500 to solely inspect a root problem; no actual work was done to help the issue. Then I was told the excavation team would be in touch. It has been 3 weeks and no one has bothered calling me - you can't even flush my toilet or use the laundry because of the overgrown roots - and today I received a charge to my credit card without even receiving an invoice. If you need a company that will respond and solve your issue quickly, go with OC drain. **UPDATE: The customer service team apologized and refunded part of the cost**

Everyone worked really hard on this project. They decommissioned two septic tanks and a water tank buried deep in the yard. More then expected. They ran into some issues, not their fault, but the city miss marked the lines. They cleared up the issue quickly. Very polite and friendly. Went above and beyond to clean up yard debris and even a tree I had cut down. They dirt is left smooth and flat ready for planting new grass. Over all I agree they did a great job. Thank you.

Had the sweeper trucks come in and they did a wonderful job before our major parking lot rehab.

They came the same day. We had an issue that needed immediate attention. Could not get anybody to come. The serviceman was very nice and knowledgeable about pumping out the system. Also the drain was plugged up. He also got it unplugged for me. Did a great job.

My septic system was not working as well as it should be so I made a call to River City Environmental. They showed up when they said they would. They pumped out my tanks and fixed my septic system. The office quoted me a price for that service and thats what I payed the service man when he completed the job. I will use them again if needed.

I am really happy I contacted River City Environmental for my septic system. They were friendly and took their time to answer my questions. I would suggest them to anyone in need of their services. I know I'll be calling them again if I ever need to.

I was adding an addition on the back of a house and architect told me there was a drywell in the backyard.

I hired my excavator and tore up the whole back yard! Nothing anywhere.

Exasperated, I called River City, and within minutes they told me exactly where it was in the front yard!

I have called them numerous times since this experience and they have come through with the right information. And better still, they have never asked me to pay them for this information.

Wish you guys could hire drivers that know how to drive, use their signals, not be on their phones, not swerve into others that call them out for their awful driving...makes you guys look REALLY bad as a company

I recently moved and a neighbor recommended River City Environmental when I had an issue with my pipes. They're amazing! Everyone I spoke with there was incredibly helpful and professional, and I ended up paying exactly what I was originally quoted. Fantastic service.

Do not use! Will waste your time and demand that you pay by credit card without giving you any idea of the amount of the service!

I wish I could rate less than one star. We had a real estate related home inspected and they charged our credit card twice for one charge $515 and charged for 2 homes for another charge $125. It has been a week since I called to ask for a credit and it still has not happened. I recommended that my real estate agent should not use River City in the future. By the way, we didn’t receive the inspection report until after the real estate deadline. Not happy

My septic system seemed to be failing. I had large puddles of water that smelled bad where my drain field was located. I made a call to River City. They were able to come out quickly and assess the problem. Part of my drain field collapsed. It took a few days, but they were able to fix it. The price was reasonable and I am happy with the quality of work.

River City has been one of my preferred vendors for over 6 years. They have worked on my communities in Washington & Oregon. They are knowledgeable, responsive and reasonably priced. I rely on them to give me recommendations on appropriate maintenance services and they are honest when it is not needed. :)

I had to hire them to plow an elderly friend's driveway, and they were on time and professional. Even better, there were no hidden fees, and I ended up paying what we had agreed on.

Their service is very prompt, professional and honest. This is very refreshing after dealing with a competitor of theirs who is way overpriced and unethical.

I try to take care of my septic system. I know that repairs and upkeep can be expensive. I recently had quite a few people over for my daughter's wedding. The septic just couldn't handle the usage. The next day I had to call River City to come out to pump the tank before it started backing up into the house. They came right away and they charged me what I was quoted over the phone.

HIDDEN PRICES!!! BE FOREWARNED! i was charged an extra $160 that is unaccounted for in the invoice that my credit card company received - this was due to me disputing the charge. (I never received an invoice - see below).
These guys are scam artists. They will charge you for materials that are not used for your project. They willam also charge you approx $100 for a fuel surcharge, even if they are a few minutes away. They will charge you for the time it takes to get supplies - our experience was that it took over one and half hours. The manager, Chaz, will back up his staff's dishonesty and will refuse your calls. Avoid this company. They do not give you a receipt and once they get your signature you give up all rights to question the amount they stole from you.

Very poor customer service. Scheduled service, didn't show up or call. Did finally come and then overbilled. Still battling for a refund. Will not use them again.

I would not wish this situation on my worst enemy. That is to be in a position to desperately require your septic system to be repaired. It is the worst possible nightmare. But if you ever find yourself in that situation the people that you want to call is River City Environmental. They will get the job done right.

Was not open and no dump station.

Had River City look at septic. Pleasant, professional fellow Ricardo. Most septic tank uncovered. Dug 10 minutes, found lid, level in tank very low. No need to pump. Will charge service call he said. Was there an hour. Bill comes, show 2.5 hours.for digging. $ 245. Wow. I have called twice and talked to folks. Waiting for supervisor to call me back. I e-mailed a few weeks back. no response. They seem busy and unhappy. Last person said she was going to swear at me. Why? Because their reason for bill is fiction.Have not paid, hope to get resolved. Be careful.

I would highly recommend River City Environmental because I had a great experience with them. The staff is very professional, and the work was completely quickly without any issues. The best part is that the actual charge was the same as the cost estimate of the work, spot on!

Great service, communication, and quality of work. We have a regularly recurring service plan w/ River City and switch to them after having a bad experience with another well known company in town.

This is the absolute worst company ever!! It is ran by a bunch of incompetent morons who don't know how to call people in advance to let them know when they will be to your property; so that you can adjust your work schedule. I was asked what time would I like them to be at my property, so I told them. They stood me up and never showed!!

First off, I appreciate the fact that this company is locally owned. I feel like locally owned businesses care more about the community and their services are more worthwhile. That being said, they did not disappoint. They were timely, thorough and charged exactly what they said they would.

Horrible at communication. Never returned any calls. Never gave me a quote as to what was or needed to be done. Took 2 weeks to finish a job, and another week to get things posted and cleared on the county website. Very poor customer service. Never followed through with anything that was asked. I felt like they nickel and dimed me because they would take to long to return to do the job so they had to keep pumping my septic and charging me each time. Avoid this company at all costs. I didn't even want to give them one star, but couldn't post this review without checking at least one.

I had a leaking sink in my upstairs bathroom and had shopped around until I came across River City. Not only were they extremely communicative, but showed up on time, quickly fixed the issue with my sink and were pleasant to work with. I will be using River City for all of my future needs!

River city environmental is extremely great at what they do. Shannon went above and beyond to help me with an invoicing problem. I have used them in the past and have been very impressed by their professionalism. I will continue to use their services and highly recommend them anyone.

In August of 2018 I purchased a townhome in Molalla, Oregon. During the home inspection, a belly was identified in the sewer line, which allowed for 20+ feet of standing water and grease to remain in the pipe. The sellers agreed to have the sewer repaired prior to closing on the sale of the home. The sellers, unknowingly to me, hired River City Environmental (RCE) to complete the sewer repair and entered into contract with them. It was later explained to me the sellers did not have liquid cash on hand to pay for the work, so an agreement was made between them and RCE to pay for the job with the proceeds of the home post-closing. Unfortunately, the sellers never paid RCE for the work they had done.
For the past three years I have received periodic demand notices from RCE for payment owed to them by the sellers they went into contract with. After receiving each demand letter, either myself or my realtor reached out to RCE to explain the situation, and how I did not order the work, did not sign any contract for the work, and that I purchased the house after the work had been completed. Each time RCE’s response has been they were just trying to make waves in hopes the sellers would do the right thing and pay their outstanding bill. RCE representatives have even suggested to me that I contact the sellers, who are complete strangers to me, and put pressure on them myself. The representative also told me they found I was liable to pay the outstanding bill because I, “Benefited from the work that was done.” Once again, I did not order the work to be done by RCE, did not know who the sellers hired to do the work, and did not sign any contract with RCE to have the work done. Everything was ordered by the sellers as a condition of the sale.
I no longer own the home in Molalla, and have since moved. RCE has tracked myself and my family to our new residence to issue the latest demand notice. They are stalking me despite knowing I am not the party they went into contact with.
As of today (6/14/2023) I have been served with paperwork from the Small Claims Department of Multnomah County, Oregon. RCE has listed the sellers, their realtor, my realtor, and myself as defendants in a $10,512 lawsuit. RCE is intentionally choosing to ignore the facts of who they entered the contract with and are now attempting to drag uninvolved parties through the court system. Their behavior is unethical and unbecoming of a professional business.

Not only is this company twice as expensive as anybody else around, but they will not take responsibility for faulty work. They almost caused a flooding of sewer material at our facility, by using parts not rated for this kind of application. When we tried to contact them about the problems, they flat out denied they had done the work. Even though we have before and after pictures and videos. Very unprofessional behavior, and they refused to even come out and look at the problems they had caused. I will certainly recommend to anybody to steer clear of this company.

Great work and great customer service! They charged me exactly what they said they would with no unexpected or hidden costs and the very reasonable price was more than worth the great job they did.

When we got the storm water notice I was not sure what to do. River City Environmental was professional and knew everything we needed to gain compliance. They charged us what they said they would and didn't tack on any additional fees!

I purchased an older building for my antique business. There was little work to do inside but the parking lot was another story. I called River City to help with the broken up pavement and to re-stripe the parking spaces. I am very pleased with the price and the improvements.
