Having to do a sewer line repair from our house to the street is not something you look forward to doing. But if you've got to do it (and apparently you do or you wouldn't be reading this review), Sewer Renewal Specialists makes it a lot easier to deal with. Initial contact was with Cindy in the office. She was very friendly and helpful. Joe came out to do the estimate. Took the time to show me and explain what he was seeing with the camera. Discussed the process and answered my questions. After receiving the bid, David, the owner, was very responsive to my follow up questions. Joe's and David's professionalism won them the job and the rest of the crew were just as good. Taylor and Jose did the bulk of the work with the excavation and insertion of the pipe lining. Kamryn and William arrived the next day to finish the job with pulling the balloon, closing up the pipe and refilling the hole. Finally came Garrick to do a great job with the concrete to seal the hole. All of them clearly knew what they were doing and worked very well together as teams. And they all let me hang around to watch and ask questions about the process which I enjoyed a lot. I also need to compliment them on the software they use which kept me well informed about appointments and arrival times. The bid and invoice documents were also very clear and easy to read.

In August of 2018 I purchased a townhome in Molalla, Oregon. During the home inspection, a belly was identified in the sewer line, which allowed for 20+ feet of standing water and grease to remain in the pipe. The sellers agreed to have the sewer repaired prior to closing on the sale of the home. The sellers, unknowingly to me, hired River City Environmental (RCE) to complete the sewer repair and entered into contract with them. It was later explained to me the sellers did not have liquid cash on hand to pay for the work, so an agreement was made between them and RCE to pay for the job with the proceeds of the home post-closing. Unfortunately, the sellers never paid RCE for the work they had done.
For the past three years I have received periodic demand notices from RCE for payment owed to them by the sellers they went into contract with. After receiving each demand letter, either myself or my realtor reached out to RCE to explain the situation, and how I did not order the work, did not sign any contract for the work, and that I purchased the house after the work had been completed. Each time RCE’s response has been they were just trying to make waves in hopes the sellers would do the right thing and pay their outstanding bill. RCE representatives have even suggested to me that I contact the sellers, who are complete strangers to me, and put pressure on them myself. The representative also told me they found I was liable to pay the outstanding bill because I, “Benefited from the work that was done.” Once again, I did not order the work to be done by RCE, did not know who the sellers hired to do the work, and did not sign any contract with RCE to have the work done. Everything was ordered by the sellers as a condition of the sale.
I no longer own the home in Molalla, and have since moved. RCE has tracked myself and my family to our new residence to issue the latest demand notice. They are stalking me despite knowing I am not the party they went into contact with.
As of today (6/14/2023) I have been served with paperwork from the Small Claims Department of Multnomah County, Oregon. RCE has listed the sellers, their realtor, my realtor, and myself as defendants in a $10,512 lawsuit. RCE is intentionally choosing to ignore the facts of who they entered the contract with and are now attempting to drag uninvolved parties through the court system. Their behavior is unethical and unbecoming of a professional business.

Brent and Pipeline were great. Was having gutters replaced and on the day of replacement called Pipeline to help unplug underground drains for downspouts. Brent was here within two hours, had all of the equipment needed, clearly explained options and costs and then worked around gutter installers and stayed with it till he found the problem and cleared it. He was courteous and seemed to enjoy helping people solve problems. You don't find that often now. Would highly recommend. Not inexpensive but worth the investment to get a responsive professional who will fix the problem

Waited just a few hours for service. Faster than expected. Jeremy was a rockstar. Competent, confident, and courteous. Within minutes after arriving, I was informed what the likely problem is, what the likely solution is, and the cost. I was informed of progress continuously. Jeremy was happy to answer all my questions and provided insightful consultation. This is our 4th time using Mr Rooter over many years. Definitely using them again next time!

Mike, the owner, is a straight shooter. He has high standards and does excellent work. I've hired him on three different occasions over a five-year period. The last time, I had his team re-pipe my house with PEX pipe. It was a big job, but they did what they said they would do with minimal disruption.

Duane came out on a Sunday to help me with a bathroom remodel. Did a great job and was very knowledgeable.

Nick was my plummer. He was very knowledgeable, professional, proficient, and courteous. Not only did he do a great job, but he also helped teach us a thing or two about maintaining the plumbing in the house to prevent future plumbing issues.

We had a very clogged drain. Eric Buckner from Apollo was extremely helpful and diligent in both clearing the drain and advising us on how to properly care for our pipes at home. We would absolutely work with Apollo again.

Simpson Plumbing replaced a hose bib that froze and cracked over the winter. They replaced it, added a turn-off valve inside the house and now it all works well. Thank you!

I had some clogged drains in my basement and called Grumpy's Drains. Keith was able to come out the morning and was on time and ready to go.

My house is older with narrower pipes and he had to do the process twice to get them clear. There was no extra charge for the extra work.

I am a happy customer and would definitely recommend.

They got the job done quickly, gave good advice, saved us money.

The quality, professionalism , and dedication to service of Alchemy Plumbing and Jaime was fantastic. I had a shower replacement/reinstall issue which required significantly more than a DIY job. Jaime was able to come out look at the original decades old original builders mess, and he was able to correct the mess, bring it up to code and provide me with the shower plumbing needs of my family.

He was knowledgeable, kind, and did fantastic work, will definitely be recommending him to my friends.

Worst service ever and overbilled. Total rip-off. Top tip: avoid.

Stressed out late sunday afternoon because of broken pipe and flooding, and then Joe from D & F plumbing showed up. He was prompt, polite, & professional. Will use them for any future plumbing work. They followed up the next day to make sure all was good. Great staff and customer service. And no plumbers crack.
