I had a great overall experience with Alchemy Plumbing.

Initially, the messed up and double booked us, but they bent over backwards to make sure they kept their appointment. Anyone can mess up, but it takes really good customer service to make it right. Great Job!

Once the plumber arrived, he was polite, professional, and prompt. He quickly fixed our issue and cleaned up after himself. Can't ask for more!

I called Alchemy Plumbing when we discovered a leak in our kitchen the day before Thanksgiving. Jaime was super responsive, showed up on time (within a couple of hours, even though it was late!) and was super kind and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had even picked up the part he suspected we needed from a supply store on his way over. We’re so grateful he went out of his way to help us out the night before a holiday and will definitely work with him on all of our future plumbing needs.

Alchemy Plumbing was great to work with. They did a trenchless replacement of our main water line that was leaking under the driveway, including relocation of the main shut off valve to a more accessible place, and reconnection of the irrigation system with a new higher quality main shut off valve. I called in the afternoon and Jaime was quick to evaluate the project the same day, emailed me a thorough, fair, and competitive quote first thing the following morning, and we were able to have the work completed the following week, sooner than others could offer. Josh kept me informed of progress the day of the repair, and high quality work was completed exactly as planned and on schedule. I highly recommend Jamie, Josh, and Chase, and will call them again for any plumbing needs.

Very happy with their service! I had a busted line to exterior hose bib that froze last winter. Instead of trying to fix the line in the walls, we just abandoned the line and closed it off. They reinstalled a new hot and cold water hose bib that is also freeze proof. Not only did we get an upgrade in location, but hot water plumbed to exterior is awesome. Our Dog will love this during winter baths!!

Jaime was very responsive and ever tried to offer quicker solutions due to his availability. He did end up performing the job personally and made the process smooth. Will be using him ongoing and I would recommend him for others!

Have used Alchemy now twice. their team has been very professional and responsive.

Had a leaking toilet that badly needed repair. Having a new born with my wife and I working full time and opposite schedules it is difficult to make time in our busy schedules. Alchemy Plumbing is very professional and responsive and the only true emergency plumber available to be found in the Portland tri-county area. When we had a recent plumbing fiasco, all the other 24 hr emergency plumbers had machines and answering services that you needed to call back the next day to schedule a visit, like any normal visit. Alchemy was the only one that provided what they advertised and Jaimie was a tremendous help during an emergency. Would not hesitate to call them for any future plumbing needs and highly recommend their company.

I had a total re-pipe done by Alchemy, and they did an amazing job. Their bid was very competitive in the work was done efficiently and to a high standard. Since finishing the job, I have use them to install new toilets and I plan on using them for any future needs. Alchemy installed a new sink and faucet for me. They did a great job and were easy to work with. They were flexible about unexpectedly needing to shave off the ridges of the new sink so that it would fit. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, were courteous and professional, and we worked out a reasonable price.

A broken pipe left me waterless with non stop dripping from a ceiling fan. Unable to find an available plumber. I was at the end of my rope when I found Alchemy Plumbing. Like a knight in shining armor, Jamie came to the rescue. Despite fitting me in at the end of his busy work day, Jamie cheerfully showed up and fixed the broken pipe. He even went the extra mile and turned back on the water heater waiting while it filled to make sure there were no issues. Our kitchen faucet began leaking on Thanksgiving eve in a big way. After calling a number of 24/7 plumbers who were booked up I found Jamie/Alchemy on referral. He was immediately responsive. Worked us in on really short notice and essentially saved our holiday by seeing the job to completion and doing high quality work. We will be starting with Alchemy for our future plumbing needs.

Very professional, great service, would call again

From the very first time reaching out to Alchemy, I was really impressed with the ease of using their website. Let’s be honest, most companies chat systems are garbage. This was the opposite and I was really impressed. I submitted a brief explanation of what I was dealing with and then was asked to submit a few pictures. Once they were reviewed, Jaime called me and we went over the fix that was needed. He confirmed the price and we quickly scheduled.

The text alerts along the process were fantastic (confirmation of apt time and who would be coming to do the work, an alert this morning that Jordy was on his way, once the work was completed - a text leading me to access the invoice, and lastly a follow up to see how satisfied I was with the work completed).

When Jordy arrived, he was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He was super conscious of wearing booties inside as to not track dirt in. He covered the top of the washer as to keep the eventual mess from the wall valve repairs at bay. He was super kind in answering all of my MANY questions from the beginning to the end.

Lastly, just as I was I referred to Jaime and his team, I would most definitely recommend Alchemy for any plumbing needs you might have. I’m so glad I reached out.

I’m ruined for any other company. I have now have new expectations of quality thanks to them.

In short they accomplished everything I wanted and more and didn’t drain my wallet in the process. Im impressed.

This is a smaller company with stellar reviews. I figured they would do as good of a job as the bigger companies without the bigger bill and I was right. They even showed up early and in turn got done earlier. Great communication and provided everything I needed right up front before anything got done. It was about 4:30 pm when the carpenter putting up sheetrock drilled into a 1/2 copper pipe. He tried to fix it , but the location made it really impossible without the right knowledge and tools. Jamie showed up at the appointed time around 7:30 pm and fixed the pipes in a really challenging situation. Very smart and quality work to give us water back for the evening. Could not have been better!

I called Jaime on a Sunday night with what I thought was an emergency plumbing need. He arranged his schedule to came out the next day and did a thorough inspection around the house before cutting any drywall. He was able to find the problem within minutes and also fix it just as quickly without any cutting. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and professional but also helped educate me. I will forever recommend Alchemy plumbing to anyone.

All of the great adjectives work here: professional, thorough, communicative, efficient, on-time, knowledgable, etc. I reached out after suffering through a leak for days, and Jaime showed up in no time and took care of the issue. I want to give the biggest praise to Jaime Smith! My outside water spigot broke and I couldn't turn off my water for over 2 hours. I called many pluming companies and no one would help. I reached out to Alchemy Pluming and spoke with Jaime, although it was his ONLY day off he walked me through the process in detail over a span of a couple hours ! Definitely will always call on them in the future. GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!

I called Jamie on Sunday morning telling him my water heater was not heating my water. He was at my house that evening. He looked at what was needed gave me a quote. He then came back the next afternoon at the time he said he would be here. Him and another gentleman had new water heater installed and working in 90 minutes.Thank you both so much! Premier Service-extremely professional and went well above and beyond. Josh returned voluntarily the next day to install a clip for a toilet fill valve that was not included in the kit but he felt it would avoid possible problems in the future. Real quality company that is very professional. Honesty is hard to find in the trades people that are not looking to get as much money from you as possible. Joshua was great.

I came home from the airport last week to find my water heater leaking water and the floor wet. It was already 11pm and immediately started calling places. Jaime Smith was so responsive and helped guide me on how to turn the water heater off. He was willing to come at midnight to fix the problem, but I was able to make the water stop so there was no need anymore. Jaime was so helpful and I appreciate him so much. I highly recommend them!

The quality, professionalism , and dedication to service of Alchemy Plumbing and Jaime was fantastic. I had a shower replacement/reinstall issue which required significantly more than a DIY job. Jaime was able to come out look at the original decades old original builders mess, and he was able to correct the mess, bring it up to code and provide me with the shower plumbing needs of my family.

He was knowledgeable, kind, and did fantastic work, will definitely be recommending him to my friends.

Excellent service! Took my call for a leaking valve and came in couple hours! While they were here, I got a quick, reasonable bid for replacing my 42 year old water heater, installing a water heater booster and mixing valve, removal of old water softener, replacing (updating) some valves and tying it all in to my solar water heater. All was scheduled and Jamie and Josh did a great job.
They are very professional and have an extremely systemized and organized van which makes them very efficient. They had everything up and going in a few hours.
