Best Rooter Drain Cleaning in Portland OR

My husband and I discovered our 14 year old water heater was dead. We called 3 Mountain Plumbing as they helped with a plumbing issue for us and we’re great. We had them come and help us take care of the issue. In one day a new updated water heater with a great warranty too. Very clean, efficient and knowledgeable service, would recommend them for all plumbing issues.

The job went fine, they showed up when they said they would, did what they said they were going to do, for the price quoted. If it was not for the fact that the sewer worked when they left you never would have known they had been here.

The transaction was so unremarkable that when they sent me a request for this review almost a year and a half after we did business I had to check my records to see what they even did. That is how little I have thought about the transaction, or the work since. When you have worked with a few bad contractors over the years so unremarkable I hardly remember them is a ringing endorsement.

Clark County Plumbing did a major leak repair that I had underneath my house from a bathroom renovation. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. They provide superior custom service at a very reasonable price. We had the pleasure of working with Daunte and his partner (can't remember his name), they gave me options I could work with, communicated very clearly, professional and very prompt. I had bad experiences with the other plumbing companies in my area and this company was professional and did the work quickly with no hassle. They are now my go to plumbers and I will recommend them to others and will have them back to work on other projects I have. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable trustworthy plumber.

There are numerous boxes to check off when being satisfied with a company who you fork over thousands of dollars to. Mr. Rooter Plumbing checks off most of these with satisfaction.

The employees are great; friendly, professional and treat your pets and family with care and respect. The three individuals (two visits) were great. Communication was detailed and clear (although sometimes after something was done).

For our specific situation, we had two major issues. One was that our water heater was on its last leg. It was over 20 years old and could have gone out any day, truthfully. So the original issue was that it needed to be reignited.

The pilot light somehow had gotten turned off and I could not get it back on with a few tries so I thought it was toast. During the first visit they reignited it and it worked fine. That was around $320. A bit steep, but worth it for me to learn i could do it myself if it were to happen again. During that trip, they quoted me for another a new installed water heater with a few add-ons I wanted ($2,400).

The second issue occurred a few weeks later. Our master bath toilet wouldn't stop running. I knew it was probably just a part, but we were getting new flooring in our upstairs bathrooms and figured they can come out, fix our issue at the same time they install our water heater. All those needs i figured maybe we could get some kind of deal?

They set the two toilets upstairs, replaced one fill part in the master and a few small parts for around $1200. So much for a break on price.

They did end up adjusting a few things and we received a bit of money back, but I would think for a company who is here anyway, we should have gotten the toilets set at no cost. Or at least a significant discount.

Overall, I'd say they are expensive, but they are also professional and do quality work. I don't think Mr. Rooter is any different than other companies in their pricing and lack of major discount in situations like ours, but they are a solid company to work with.

We were left with a great feeling after the job was complete, knowing that he had found and repaired all leaks, leaving the jobsite cleaner than when he arrived. I needed my clogged kitchen drain cleared. Tried it myself with no luck. Contacted Rescue Rooter who offered an $88 service call to open a clogged drain. They promised a four hour window for the next day.Charles arrived a little more than half way through the promised time. He listened to my explanation of the problem and its' genesis, stated that the $88 dollar service call would fix the problem. It took him 15 minutes to clear the blockage. He replaced a broken plastic fitting, gave me advice on how not to see him again anytime soon and took my Visa for payment. Not even a hint of upsell.I could not be happier. OK, maybe if he attacked the accumulated dishes on the counter.Charles came when promised, did what I needed for the price advertised and was totally pleasant. What more do you want?

I didn't end up using the services of Cornell Plumbing, but that was a limitation of their insurance not covering stacked apartments - instead they got me a recommendation to another business they trusted. Both Cornell and the recommended service have been excellently responsive.

Chris Terrones was our drain tech and he was on time, professional, and quickly got the job done. Very satisfied.

I do a lot of commercial work and these guys are amazing. The only plumbers I will use in the Portland Area. Fast reliable and always Great service!
