Plumber Technician Atkinson arrived at my house this Sunday evening to clear a stubborn clog in my sprawling drainline that is connected to three sinks, two tubs and a washing machine. At first the electrical powered snake he tried proved too short, but a determined Atkinson investigated under the house before retrieving a longer snake unit from his van. The longer snake cleared the drainline within minutes as the clog was almost 20 feet away. Atkinson said it is Rescue Rooter's goal to always leave customers happy. I am delighted I can take my morning shower without wading in cold-dirty water. Atkinson was very professional and was very careful not to soil the carpeting. He was great!!!

The crew of Brandon and Aaron were A++++. They explained everything before they did something, completely answered all of our questions and worked around our needs. We would not hesitate to use them again. Dave whom we had initial contact with and adviced us what needed to be done left nothing out. He gave us some great ideas about what to do and provided us with the most complete and economical way to get our project completed.

The night before Thanksgiving our kitchen sink clogged. Tried snaking it but didn't make a difference. Called these guys the next morning and they were there that morning. He had to cut out a section of the drain pipe (turns out it was poorly installed and needs to be replaced) to get his power snake down it. Explained what was needed, stayed until it was done. Expensive, but it was Thanksgiving day.
They scheduled an emergency leak repair on Christmas Eve. We waited 4 hours for them to arrive only to have them cancel last second. By that point every plumber was booked and we were screwed. They are liars and rude and should not be in business.

Kesa did a great job unclogging my sewer and that of 2 neighbors. He was professional and respectful and stayed with it even though it surely took much longer than expected. I would definitely call him again.
Wilson went above and beyond even going to home depot for us to get a certain part for an unrelated fix. Would recommend him to anyone I know!

Excellent customer service and communication from the scheduling staff to the plumbers who came to my home. I greatly appreciated the Covid protocol the company follows.
Brandon and Allejandro were courteous and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made sense. I decided not to use their service at that time. They did not pressure me or try to persuade me to use their service, simply said if you need us again give us a call. There was no service charge for evaluating the problem. I’m impressed with the business model of this company.

I called this company to clear a sewer line at my home. There is so much I could say, but no one wants to read a novel for a review. What I will say, is that communication between the company and the customer is pretty much nonexitent. they miss time frames for arrival with no calls to let a person know they are running behind or need to reschedule for a different day. They will quote one price, but change that when questioned about it. If I had to do it over again, I would not call this company. Be very careful about getting all the paperwork you need and keeping track of money paid to them. They will overcharge you, and when you question it, they will get slightly belligerent with you. Best advice, call someone else.

We had a clogged bathtub drain on a Saturday morning. Wilson was able to troubleshoot and clear the clog and even discovered and corrected a drain repair that was improperly done a few years back for us. Exceptional service and highly recommended!
I called at 7:30 am and told the person who answered that I had a clogged line going to my septic tank. I was told someone would be at my house between 8am and noon. Sometime around 6:30 pm some showed.up. The price I was quoted was under $100 dollars. When the person looked at my system and discovered my 1929 farm house did not have a clean out a new price near $800 was given to me. I told the technician he could leave as I was not going to pay that much. He told me if I left a good review he could discount the price. I ended up paying under $500. The technician was professional and did a good job. I was not impressed with the sell low and then change the price later. Be sure and ask lots of questions. In the end even if I was unhappy with the corporate side of the company, I was happy with the work. A solid 3 star effort.

Dave and Steve did a great job unclogging a bathroom sink and hydro jetting our sewer line. They were quick and efficient. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have plumbing work done.
It was a wonderful experience. Steven came to my home, was very courteous, found the issue right away, explained everything in layman's terms, provided me with several options, fixed my problem, and even cleaned up! Such a nice man. I will use Rescue Rooter for all my plumbing needs.

I called the company at night, as my water heater was leaking, and I was draining it, spoke to a woman, had it all set up, for the next morning, asked if there was a service charge- she said no. Good, scheduled the appointment.
Get the call, a service tech was on his way.
2min later I get another call, actually there is a $99 service fee or he won't be coming. I told him I asked about that the night before, can it be waived?- it was their mistake. NO.
Then he added the pressure- so I have to know if I should call our man off the job right now because he's in route.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- hide the fee, pressure the customer when the tech is already in route- I asked if the owner would wave the fee for their mistake. NO.
No cost estimate as reassurance.

We had an issue with our main line backing up and we have a flag lot so it’s a lot of pipe to clear. Steve responded to our call and proposed a solution more suitable for our needs. Plus he found an access point we didn’t know existed which helped to flush out the problem. Dave came over to double check the piping as they thought there could be tree roots causing the problem. Luckily they aren’t! They were so helpful and went above and beyond to solve the problem. We used another company in the past twice last year and it was more expensive, plus didn’t solve the problem for long and they didn’t have the right equipment then tried to charge more money to come back. The price was right with Rescue Rooter and they got the job done!! Dave and Steve are our hero’s!! We will absolutely use them again.
A gentleman (Kesa) who came to fix the clogged kitchen sink was friendly, courteous and maintained professional conduct all the way through the repairs. I would highly recommend their service if you ever find yourself in the middle of the plumbing disaster 🙂

Called last minute on a Friday at 3pm for a huge leak in our basement. Tyson came out and helped identify the problem and fixed it the following Monday in just a few days. Great communication and expertise!!
I was told that some would of came out the same day and waited for someone to come out only to find that's if I didn't shut of my water and left it running they would have came out and fixes but since I shout off the water supply it's not an emergency anymore they can't come out for the fix so now I'm stuck with out water until I can get someone out here

I contacted rescue rooter to fix a clog in our bathroom sink. Everyone I spoke to was very polite and professional. Shae was the technician that repaired our sink and he is awesome! Very friendly and got our drain fixed quickly. My one complaint is that I was given an appointment window of 8am-12pm for expected arrival, and my technician wasn’t able to be here until 3 pm. It wasn’t a big deal, but a more realistic time frame would be appreciated in the future. I would definitely recommend Rescue Rooter to a friend and use their service again.
Fantastic service, but expensive. They quoted me at $487 per clogged drain, and then gave me a 2 for 1 deal, resulting in $487 total for 2 clogged drains. $240 per drain is still quite a bit

Got down to business, worked hard to solve the issue with our interest at heart.
I can’t sing their praise enough! I’ve used them on multiple of my rental properties and they are always out there same day, polite, and effective. Not to mention they have the best prices in town. I’ll keep calling them forever.
Claimed they could not quote a spigot replacement over the phone, so paid for them $79 to come out, and after glancing at the spigot leaking, told me their standard pricing for spigot replacement is $700. I am left wondering why they bothered to send someone out in the first place, as they were already aware of the standard pricing. They could have simply informed me of the pricing over the phone, allowing me to decide if it was reasonable or not.

Called and spoke with a representative who told us that someone would be out the next morning, only to be called that next morning during the arrival window to be told they don't have anyone who could come, and not just that day, but ever.
This guy is awesome!! Not only was he on time he was very informative about the repairs I could do. He worked hard and was very efficient at his job all with a big smile. We will definitely youse these guys in the future!!

Technician arrived around two hours outside of our quoted window and we had to call to check on the status twice. We were quoted to scope and clear the main line before we really knew what the problem was (shouldn’t scoping be part of the process before you can accurately quote?) and ultimately, the problem wasn’t really even in the main line. We got quotes from a couple other plumbers and we actually could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere so finding that out was a bummer. The technician was really nice and knowledgeable so that was a plus.

My wife and I had just moved in to our new house early March 2021. We were there for a few days when we noticed a toilet that was plugged up and then the washing machine starting to back up. Thinking it was something we did, I called for service from Rescue Rooter, Jack Howk. I believe it was Alejandro that came out to our house. He was methodical, concerned and puzzled as to what could be the problem. After looking at the conditions under our house, raw sewage but yet one of our toilets wouldn’t flush, he took it upon himself to go underneath our house to explore more. He discovered that the plumber had left in the test plug from the inspection. He also discovered that one of our toilets was flushing directly into our crawl space. Needless to say we had to call the plumber back out to repair things, get the toilet connected to the sewer and have a cleanup done. Alejandro was excellent and I would use and recommend Jack Howk again for plumbing problems!
Kesa was great - friendly, honest and worked hard to fix our problem which he did. Very satisfied.

Replaced house line from meter without tearing up the landscape. This was not an easy task! All that after emergency hookup so we could have water while replacement work was getting done. Only guys in town to respond the same day of our discovered issues. Only plumbers I will use from now on in the portland area.

The technician explained what was causing the clog and the options for solving it. I decided it was best to do the jet clean as the cabling would not last as long before gunk in the pipe would re-clog. I was very happy with the work they did for me.
