Our technician turned the whole ordeal into a quick simple process. He cleared out kitchen drain quickly and was very respectful of our home. He finished the job in a flash, gave great tips to prevent future problems, and left things very clean. He even went above and beyond to install an easier access fitting for future use. I am helping a friend, Kate. T., who is off her feet due to an accident. I was washing dishing and doing laundry and the plumbing backed up in the basement. I made the call and Jordan pulled up after a couple calls about his progress enroute from the company.Really, he was so knowledgeable and helpful that I can't really do him justice by providing some brief comments here. We had had some problems before and thought that doing a camera inspection might be called for. He said that was included in the service. He said he didn't want to guarantee the job without knowing what it looked like in the drain line. He was calm, kind, considerate, professional and efficient.The service was very reasonably priced for a snaking and camera inspection and when his camera showed us the root blockage, he pinpointed it accurately out in the street along with the depth. He offered a one year guaranteed root removal that would be a great deal if the city can not fix their line before we have multiple recurring blockages.Kate, the homeowner was very relieved to have the pleasant young man give her an accurate explanation of her situation with available solutions. This was at nearly midnight, and when he left I was back to washing clothes and dishes.We forgot to ask for the senior citizen discount that was described on the first phone call, but you know, it doesn't matter one bit.Overall, a company with policies and employees like Jordan is a pleasure to do business with.

Called late at night once I discovered my backup. I was contacted by tech and informed that he would be here in an hour. Kesa arrived as promised and commenced his work. The snake was worked in both directions but was stopped at the curb by a sudden stoppage. Unable to open Kesa told me he would return in morning with a camera set up. He followed up as promised. Good man that Kesa.

Kesa was the gentleman who came to our home to unclog our drain.He was highly professional and unclogged our drain and also didn’t make any messes wore protective shoes to protect our home. Very honest and kind person. We highly recommend him.

The “plumber” that showed up did not have the proper tools to do the job. He also did not know what he was doing and couldn’t answer the most basic questions. Never use them.

Overall good experience. Tech was prompt, kind, and experienced. Was careful in the house and left the place clean. Leaving 4 stars because of the pricing discrepancy. They lure you in with a reasonable price on the website, then hook you in for much more once the tech is on site. Website said $129 for drain clearing, ended up being either $450 for basic or $650 for the water jet that clears out majority of the blockage in the drain. If they had advertised the actual prices, I might have spent more time self-diagnosing the problem at hand.

Upon arrival and my conversation, Brandon quoted the price from replacement and immediately made arrangements fr instaatin. Wilson arrived an hour later with water heater. I had a clogged kitchen drain that I had try to snake myself. After unsuccessfully doing it, I reached out to multiple places and Jack Howk was the only one able to make it out over the weekend. I had one other person take a look that didn’t do this, just told me I needed the most expensive option no matter. The pricing is astronomical for the work we had done and not one person at this company can tell me how they came up with the pricing and the breakdown. I will never use this company again. We paid $1700 for an outdoor pipe repair/leak that took less then 3 hours to be fixed and minimal supplies.

We called. The office workers were nice. The tech showed up. He diagnosed our problem, and wrote us up three options. We chose the most complete option. The repair that the company had control over was completed within four working days. We are pleased, but wish it wouldn’t have cost $11,000.

We had a need to have our in-sink garbage disposal looked at, in the 4:00 pm. hour one weeknight. No one ever showed up, nor notified us thirty minutes enrouteto our residence. We cleared our driveway to ensure available parking. We cleared out most all items from underneath our sink area. No one contacted us nor showed up by 10:00 pm. We instead, rescheduled our appointment for the following afternoon. The gentleman who responded to our rescheduled service call did so timely, politely, and professionally. Awesome same day service to clear a blocked main sewer line. Called on a Saturday when others were closed or booked and Levi arrived within about 4 hours. Levi was really friendly, respectful, and professional. Not only did he clear our main line quickly, but was he was able to tell us what the likely cause was! The best $88 I have ever spent! Highly recommended.

We were without any plumbing at a business and previously had out two other plumbing companies, one wouldn't touch the problem and the other gave us a price that was almost $5k and involved cutting out concrete in an employee's office. It was nice to actually talk to a real, live person! Tyler was at my home within 3 hours and fixed my drain without a hitch. He started with booties on his shoes which was so thoughtful. He explained everything and told me what procedures he would follow to get rid of the clog. I called Rescue Rooter on a Sunday around 3:30pm due to my wet bar sink backing up with some nasty-smelling gunk and my kitchen sink backfilling with water as well when I ran my washing machine. Matthew was at my door just two hours later and was able to clear the clog with about 10 minutes of snaking. Afterwards he filled both sinks with water and drained them, and ran a quick cycle on my washer to make sure all was good. He also cleaned the sewer-smelling gunk out of my bar sink which was much appreciated. I will say this ordeal was a little pricey at $487 for a quick snake, but worth it for the quick and professional service!

USE THIS COMPAY!!! (please read) Wow, what can I say... these folks are amzing!!! I made a mistake and they charged me nothing! I have a unique septic system that has an electric pump. I was recently doing some unrelated electrical work and accidentally turned off the septic pump breaker and did not realize it. Weeks later I thought I had a really bad clog or something, but my tank just wasn't pumping because it was off. Atkinson (super great guy!) came out and spent a couple hours doing actual work. When I finally realized what happened he didn't charge me anything! I was stupid and they took pity on me. Should have cost me hundreds but didn't cost me a cent. They will forever by my first call in the future. They should be you first call too! Thank you so much.

I called Rescue Rooter last weekend when my utility sink drain was clogged. Charles arrived quickly and impressed me with his quick assessment of the bigger problem of the very old concrete sink being cracked. He thoroughly explained the repair he recommended and why it was needed. He left me with an FREE estimate and no pressure.Today, Charles completed the whole project (replacing old concrete sink, installing new faucet, redirected pipes, etc) in less than four hours AND prices are not inflated for weekend work!! Called on the morning of December 24th with a burst pipe. They scheduled the repair for Xmas morning. Xmas morning they left a voicemail saying, We don't have a plumber available to do that so we cancelled your appointment. At that point, everyone was closed for the 25th and 26th. Here on the 27th, everyone is backlogged. So we're dealing with numerous days with no toilet, shower, sink, including Xmas day. If they had just told us they couldn't do it when we first called, we would have found someone else.

Very friendly, able to make it out same day to clear a clogged sink drain which I couldn’t get with three other companies I called. But be sure to check the website for coupons, price for my service would have been 5x more if I hadn’t mentioned the price I saw on their website. Overall happy with our experience.

I appreciate that they offered service sooner than several other companies and the service received was efficient, effective, friendly, thorough & came with a year a warranty. I was incredibly frustrated that I got up early for an AM 4 hr window of arrival & the service plumber arrived 8 hrs later! when I then had to miss an hour of scheduled business meeting! To their credit their office/ dispatcher did phone me about 4 times during the day to update that they did not yet have a free service person. In the end I do get it that other jobs could have taken longer than expected but its mighty tough to be stuck unable to leave for other tasks with this unpredictability. I think their price on the high side but not sure as I needed my toilet done soon so did not get other on site bids as each of those cost and drive up final costs. If I could change one thing it would be the plumber arriving within promised time window. Mr. Wilson was excellent, knowledgeable & polite.

I am very pleased with the service I received. My hot water heater died on a Friday afternoon and I called Rescue Rooter to come out the next day. They arrived early and gave me a quote to replace the heater, the only option available. PPE was worn the whole time. The replacement went well until it was discovered that my new heater was slightly too big to fit in its closet. The problem was solved to my satisfaction with no additional charge.

We knew we had a drainage pipe leak and suspected it was pretty bad. Tyson assessed and gave us great options. We chose full pipe replacement and eventually needed sewer pipe replacements. It was a tough job. They guys (Tyson and Matthew) treated us so well and we got such a superior product. The highlight was their offer to install our ice-maker and a faucet. It was the extra touches, service and the excellent product that made this experience such a positive one. I would highly recommend!!

I called about 6 different companies and Rescue Rooter was the only company that gave me a ballpark estimate. (I had two other companies come out to give me a free estimate and they were sky high). This was beneficial to me as I have not needed a plumber in 35 years. Benjamin is the tech who came to my home. Benjamin wore a mask, he was cognizant of distance between us, and put on protective coverings over his shoes. Benjamin displayed excellent customer service skills. Benjamin was thorough, polite, knew what to do and he did it. Explained the process and gave me some tips on how to avoid future problems, and cleaned the area afterwards. Fast fwd to Feb 2023 Saturday after the big snow storm backed up again and my fault. Way too many veggies down garbage disposal the day before. I called they were here by 9am or so and Graham came in did the job and cleaned up. Once again this place exceeded my expectations and value for the $$$.Hopefully I won’t need them again but and glad to know they are available 🥰Below was the original review from years ago.I had an issue with a drain in august 2020 being backed up and after I tried to get it unclogged via chemicals plunger and snake I called these guys. They can out and fixed it quick and was extremely happy with the service and price. Fast forward 70days later same issue I called them again and THEY said if it’s same issue it would be NO CHARGE since it was covered with the 90 day warranty!! Two gentlemen showed up unclogged my drain cleaned up afterwards and even gave me an estimate for my hot water heater I know I will need to change soon! A+++ company A+++ customer service at the appointment end offering that warranty info and A++++++ professionalism, communication at the service level with the two gentlemen!! Thanx again !!!!!!

In my 35 years of owning my home I've used Rescue Rooter three previous times and never been disappointed. This last visit was no different when Chris showed up. Like all the previous techs he was friendly, courteous and very efficient; getting two bathroom drains clean in about an hour.

We called for a badly leaking faucet in the late afternoon and were told a tech would be out first thing in the morning. By 12:30, no one had shown up and when we called, we were informed that they weren’t coming that day, nor for the foreseeable future.We should have been notified as soon as they knew they couldn’t make it.Now we still have water running into our yard and have to try to find someone else halfway through a Friday on a holiday weekend.

Wilson is friendly and easy to understand about work to be done. He showed me what he was going to do, answered questions, and then showed me work when it was done. This is second time he helped with plumbing. I specifically asked for him because first job was also a 5 star experience.

Even though the technician wasn’t able to fix the problem since it was something more serious that another technician needs to come out he tried his very best.

I had a water leak from the old water main coming from the water meter to my house.the pipe that was broke, you can not buy anymore so Tyson was able to fix it with parts that he had on his truck for years knowing that he may need them one day and thank goodness he did. Other wise the price of the repair was going to almost double due to him having to go find the parts to fix it. I was very satisfied with my service today with ARS Rescue Rooter / Jack Howk. Everyone I interacted with was very professional - from the person scheduling the appointment, the text updates I got about who my technician was going to be & approx. when he'd be arriving, & the technician (Thomas Do).I was surprised at how fast Thomas arrived (within 2 hours of making the appt.)!! He was friendly, did a quick assesment of the problem (clogged toilet), and gave me several options & quotes before starting the work.He was able to quickly resolve the issue within about 15-20 mins.I definitely recommend ARS Rescue Rooter & would call them again in the future.

I had a broken and leaking main waterline, and this great company and its top notch professional crew came in and diagnosed the problem and reconfigured the waterline so it wouldn't be jeopardized again. Using new plumbing technology, they had me back in business without having to be inconvenienced in any way. The staff is VERY friendly and professional and understanding about my problems, and came in and did their work. My dogs in the kennel were barking away and it never disturbed their work in any way. I highly recommend this company and crew and will definitely call on them for any future projects.

If I could give this company negative one star I would. I booked this company twice to service our drains for the new house we purchased. The first time I waited 5 hours and they called to tell me they had no idea when the technician would be coming but would call me an hour before his planned arrival so I rescheduled for another day. Again i was given a 4 hour window and waited 5.5 hours before calling and asking when the technician might be arriving again to be told by the manger Stacy that she had no idea when the technician would be arriving. I asked her if she had any idea what day might be good for them to actually show up in the 4 hour window. She said they usually do show up within the time frame given and I started that this was the second appointment and all told I have waited over 13 hours for them. She stated that she was sorry but that was it.I wouldn't recommend this calling and scheduling with this company as they don't respect the customers time and do it care of you wait. She recommended perhaps calling someone else if I didn't like it. So you know what....I did I called First Choice Plumbing and I recommend everyone else does too.

Broke my sewer pipe and caused over 10000 dollars in damages.Thank you rescue rooter. Wanted to charge me 6k to repair pipe that they broke.I have it repaired for 3200 after 7200 in sewage clean up. Never would I use this company again. How they have a 4.5 rating I don’t know.

They came out to our house quickly, and diagnosed the problem. Cleared the waste lines and discovered a broken sewer line using a camera.Came back the next day and hydro power cleaned all lines. Two days later made the sewer line repair.Everything was done quickly, professionally and at a reasonable price.We are very happy with the work that was done and everyone that was involved

The service tech, Landon was wonderful. He explained the issue to me in terms that I could understand. He was efficient in the repair of my toilet and left the area clean. He also explained why there was such a delay in the day. We called Rescue Rooter when we started experiencing low flow when flushing toilets and gargling sounds from the drains. Chris came out and troubleshot our issue which cascaded into bigger and bigger issues. He worked very calm and professionally until very late in the day, 2 days in a row until he found the issue. The issue he explained was caused from problems on the cities end and he helped us when contacting the city to come out and look at it. Chris was very easy easy to work with and considerate of our schedule. We will absolutely call Chris and rescue rooter again for our plumbing needs in the future!

Don't know how my first post got deleted but our plumber was Chris and he did an excellent job.. We had a plumbing issue that took some time but he got it figured out and fixed. Very respectful and friendly. Thanks for all the hard work you put in. You really do deserve more than a thank you for all that you had to do especially all the hard work in the heat.

100 dollars for them to show up and give you a quote, quote was over $700 dollars to install a kitchen faucet and garbage disposer (quote waived if work done). Seems to me that quote is something that could of been provided over the phone (but they don't for obvious reasons). It took them a little over an hour to do the work and at that price they'd make over 1 million per year if working full time. The price is ridiculous, save your wallet and go elsewhere.PS my fragile son's medical needs flared up as Rescue Rooter walked in the door, distracting us both, and I didn't get the quote until after the work was done.2nd PS No hardware was included in the above price, that was for labor alone.

They are pricey, but good. Had sewage coming up through a drain. They came and unclogged it. Unfortunately the next day more came up. They came out without additional charge and did camera inspection of the entire house sewage system and identified an issue that was leading to clogs, kitchen grease and provided some drain maintainer to keep it clean on the future.

Kesa came out, spent two hours working his butt off and now my drain runs freely. Very happy with his work and professionalism. Incredibly nice guy, too.

Extremely poor customer service, look elsewhere. We made an appointment to have a technician come to our home to help us with a plumbing issue. They provided a 4 hour window to arrive at our home to evaluate and provide service. Two hours into the service window they called to say that they were very busy and might not arrive at all during the day. We received a call 4 hours after the window had already passed letting us know that they were not coming at all (obviously) and wanting to reschedule. No apologies and zero concern after we explained that we had taken had taken time off of work to be available during the service window. This company representatives seemed unconcerned and irritated with us when we expressed frustration with the lack of follow through. If this is how they treat customers before they even start a job, I can't imagine what happens later on. Spend your money somewhere else...

Paid a whopping $2500 for drains to be cleared at the office. Silly me, I assumed they would put the washing machine drain hose back after unhooking it. The subsequent flood destroyed important business records as well as my 2021 tax files. Massive clean up. Put another way: I would pay them $2500 NOT to show up. Avoid.

I normally don't write reviews, but thought I would share my experience.I had a clogged tub that needed a snake. Since I don't like doing that, and I just received an email from them for an $88 single drain clean, I thought I'd give them a try. (I normally use another company.)The first day, they weren't able to make the 4 hour window appointment. (Ok, I can see how things could get pushed with problematic jobs.)Which means they reset another 4 hour window for the next day. Fine, but a little more time accuracy would be nice. Not all companies have a 4 hour window.When they showed up, I told them about the $88 drain clean email, they said it doesn't apply as it's not access as discussed in the fine print. OK. Misleading. It's a tub, access is through the vent, which requires 2 screws to be removed.Then they gave me an estimate for snaking the tub at $486.As I told them no, (and had used the other company earlier that week, they matched the price.) Very sleazy sales too, I need to text my boss to make sure we can do it for that, etc. BS.They were able to do the job pretty easily, but had an old snake which broke so had to run back to the shop for a replacement. (Just add more of my time to the equation.)I hope if you choose this outfit, your experience is much better.For me, it was sleazy, required two 4 hour time windows, and a quick trip for them to head back to the shop.No Thanks.

I called with an urgent matter around 8am, they scheduled me for a time period (10am to 2pm) and said they would put me as a priority 1 (no usable bathroom) , They didn't show up during the time they committed to and when I called them they said they didn't show me as a priority. She them put me as a priority I called every 2 hours wondering if someone was coming and kept getting the same story Our guys are running behind, we'll contact you when they are on their way The only call I received from them was at 6:00pm to let me know they weren't coming and could schedule me for the next day. This was the worst experience from a company that claims same day service, 27/7, and emergency service They certainly aren't true to their claim.Thank God for Clog Busters, they were here within 20 minutes of me calling them! They have the best customer service.

My kitchen sink backed up on Thursday morning and the disposal pressure exploded apart the trap spewing food bits everywhere and I tried using a 1/4 inch snake and it didn't make a difference. It was Friday early afternoon and I had the AC cranked to cover the smell and sedate the flies and I called these folks. Kesa showed up when they said he would and he used a power snake to clear the thing out. Not cheap at all, but it was an emergency call and they have people answering the phone and others coming out and a truck and a machine, and all that costs money - so in that context it's understandable. Kesa was great - friendly, honest guy, and got some good advice about preventing it happening again. I'm going to watch for coupons for periodic cleaning which is much more affordable.

RYAN ADAMS WAS MY SERVICE TECHNICIAN. He was EXCELLENT, he listened patiently with my questions, he is knowledgeable, personable , very professional and easy going. He diagnosed the problem immediately. Now my garbage disposal and dishwasher work great with no water backup. My first time to call a plumber and I highly recommend this business. A real person answered the phone promptly and gave me appt the next day. Although plumbers are never cheap, now my kitchen works, because Ryan helped make the billing experience less painful.

Jason and Justin showed up to our house in Salem promptly, got the main sewer line cleared of tree roots, ran a camera down it to check they were cleared and at a very low price. Our laundry sink was clogged and Tyler arrived within a couple hours of our original call. The problem was solved promptly and efficiently. Tyler was very helpful in explaining things, and his courteous, professional demeanor was appreciated. Also appreciated was his thorough clean up after the job was done.We took advantage of their “Cleanout Special”, so the price was agreeable, and as part of their service, Alex came by with a camera to scope the entire line out to the sewer main. He too was very professional and courteous, as well as knowledgable and straightforward when it came to explaining the condition of our pipes, and reviewing our options.

Our technician, Wilson, was outstanding! He explained our problem thoroughly and did a great job fixing our troubled pipe. The replacement pipe is working and draining well! He explained to us how to maintain and clean our piping system.

Shortly thereafter dispatch called and we scheduled an appointment for withing 2 hours if calling.The service men who came (one came to rooter the line and the other to run video line) were incredibly professional, articulated the process well, and followed through with their commitment.The found the blockage 65 feet down the exit sewer line and using the camera I could see the flow was clear. They prepared a quote for work to repair the line and left. No pressure sales.I would recommend Rescue Rooter.

The representative came within an hour of my call to the company, he quickly diagnosed the problem, which was a clog in my underground rainwater drain pipe, he used the clog buster attachment on his high pressure hose and cleared the lines 50 feet in each direction.

Spent Valentine's Day under my sink trying to figure out what was wrong with my plumbing, and all I figured out was that I didn't know what I was doing (not a euphemism haha). A few hours later, they had squeezed us in that same day.Keith showed up to the smallest crawl space he had seen and never made any sort of complaint and never lost his smile (at least I think, he was wearing a mask). Had service done months ago when local muni broke a connection at the street. The tech (Aleks) was great. I assume my address is now on file asI started receiving coupons in the mail. I need some non urgent plumbing work done so I called them, requested service and after being put on hold for 5-10min, was told they can't schedule me due to no technicians. Now keep in mind, I am in no rush. They could schedule me in 3 weeks for all I care. I told her I was confused and she restated that they can't ever schedule me. Say what? So in summary they told me that are not interested in my business. What kind of company tells a customer that? Being treated this poorly, I would never consider using these folks.

Had a drain clog under my washer in my laundry room late Friday evening and Kesa was able to come out next afternoon (Saturday) on a holiday weekend. The service was a bit pricey but worth every penny

Our main sewer drain had completely backed up and we had a gentleman named Kesa came out to assess the issue. He quickly found the problem and provided a solution. Less than 1 hour later we had our main sewer line cleared and we had working plumbing again. Everybody we dealt with was super friendly and we would definitely recommend them to anybody!

Rescue Rooter in Clackamas improperly installed a $600 toilet. They failed to raise the flange so it never sealed. They guarantee their work for only a year, so unless you want to replace your toilet every year, look elsewhere. 3 Mountains Plumbing is fixing Rescue Rooter’s mistakes.

Wilson did a great job on my kitchen sink drain. It was blocked in two spots, one at 15 feet down and the other blockage was 40 feet down the pipe. He did not stop until he got the pipe cleared and free flowing. Very hard job on my drain and Wilson did amazing!!!! Great job everyone!

We started with a clogged drain on a weekend when dinner guests were expected the next day. They promptly cleared the drain (for only $88) and when I asked if they could scope it and let me see what the inside looked like, they did so for no additional cost. Our over 100 yr old 1& 1/2 inch drain was clearly crumbling in places so I asked for an estimate to replace it. Their bid was somewhat less than what two neighbors had recently paid for the same replacement work so we agreed. Aaron and the other two men who did the work were terrific. 100% pleased with the job, and highly recommend them.

Chris came out a couple weeks ago to repair the kitchen waste line and provided an option to replace the cast iron pipe. We elected not to pursue that option.
Fast forward to today Chris was setting up to cut the walls , he found the rest of the line was already ABS , bringing it to attention and saving me thousands of dollars.

We had a sewage backflow into our basement, couldn’t snake/fix it ourselves— and couldn’t get anyone else out quickly enough to inspect or fix. Rescue Rooter really did come to the rescue! They told us they would snake first even though we had tried to do it previously, and said that if they didn’t pull anything back, that they wouldn’t charge us for this and would move on to a scour jet service.Dave even showed us the poor work that a prior contractor had done, which most likely isn’t to code. So we’re thankful that we have til he scope video incase we need to go to court.I’m sure they’re saving us a bunch of headaches. Having water in our house draining again has been a huge relief. I scheduled an appointment Monday for a Thursday appointment window 8-12. Explained the bid I needed in detail after having a sewer scope on the main line and sent the video and file along. I was ensured THREE times it would be free. I got a phone call 4 minutes before my window began at 7:56 am explaining it wasn’t free it was actually $527... just to do a bid, no actual repairs involved. I understand that sometimes the nature of assessing the work requires a fee but notify upon the booking of the appointment. Calling me four minutes beforehand with no explanation as to why I was not informed of this in the three days before the appointment to gouge me for $527 seems like bad business practices to me. Will never use again and will tell everyone to do the same.

Jason was great! He came out to look at my gas water heater. He was able to diagnose the problem and got the water heater back up and running in no time!! Will use them again if ever needed!

I highly recommend this company. I called in a request for unclogging one of my resident's kitchen sink on a Friday. Unfortunately the were down men and had to reschedule me for the next day, which was Saturday. Well do to the backlog, they were not able to get to the apartment til 10 PM. Needed help to get a leaking valve replaced, called and they told me they'd be out the next day between 8-12:00. Next day , no one shows up, called and they said they were over booked and couldn't come out, and did even offer to find another time. So we waited for over 4 hours! Terrible service. Will never call them again.

They came over to snake a laundry sink. Wanted to charge 500 to fix it. I complained. So the came down to 300. Left. 5 days later. It backed up again. They said they would come out one more time for 200. And the sink still didn't drain. I would skip them and call someone else. Who isn't into screwing people.

Best experience with a plumber I've ever had.Matt with Rescue Rooter was there in a few hours and only charged me $88 to clear a clogged laundry/kitchen drain. He was clear about what the steps were, the costs, the potential issues that might come up. But he knew his stuff, tried a couple tricks, and was done in no time.(For context, the last time I had a clogged drain, I had to wait a week and pay $300 when I called some other company. What a joke.)Rescue Rooter is the real deal!

I needed my kitchen drain sorted out in a hurry! Dispatch estimated that someone would be here between 12 and 4. Alejandro got here at 1. He quickly assessed the situation and recommended a water jet cleaning to get us going again. This turned into a 3 hour odyssey as he solved problems. Ultimately, he got our drain fixed and we are so thankful!!

I would recommend them! Specially the 2 techs that came out.We had sewage backed up and flooding out into our restroom. So the whole house was on shut down can’t do laundry, wash dishes, shower or use restroom, nothing. We called them 12 am, they came out following day. Gave me the best quote worked with me on the price a bit. I had 2 other companies come out with outrageous quotes. They where fair with theirs. cleaned the main pipe and where in and out in about 20 mins. VERY thankful to Kesa & Austin for makes this stressful experience as smooth as they could. I had a plugged up bathroom sink. I called and got scheduled the next day. Steven showed up with all the COVID precautions. He was very pleasant, efficient, and got right to work. Very friendly, fast, knowledgeable service! Unfortunately I had first called 3 Mountain Plumbing and they sent a moron that used the wrong tool and broke a pipe snaking my drain for 20 minutes. Rescue Rooter unclogged the drain in 2 minutes. I would be even happier if I did not have to fix the pipe 3 Mountain broke. Luckily Rescue Rooter gave me some DIY tips to repair the pipe myself. Hoping that works!

He double checked the line was clear and offered additional services and follow up if we were interested. Called over the weekend and scheduled a day for them to come out and snake a drain pipe from my home to the street. They called the morning of and said they may be running behind. Several hours later they called and said they couldn’t make it today. I asked if they could schedule it another day and they refused. If you’re not going to show up, why schedule the appointment in the first place. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save your time and find someone who wants to work.

Great experience! We had a very clogged drain that I had tried unsuccessfully to snake. Wilson came out asap and let me know our options (snake or scour jet.) We went with the jet option and the work was complete within a couple hours. Wilson was even nice enough to clean our sink out after the job. The price was a bit on the higher side, but I would pay again for the fast attention to the issue, great communication, and professionalism.

It’s all fun and games until someone can’t reliably flush the toilet. My first cry for help to a 24-hour service went unanswered, but I’m grateful for that now - because it led me to Rescue Rooter, and the double expert combo of Vanja and Josh. They were on time, professional, and clear about my options. I felt that I was in good hands, and was very pleased at the price. Call these guys first; call these guys NOW.

Our toilet got clogged and it was Saturday. We call a couple different rooters and all booked up. Only rescue rooter immediately responded and showed up promptly. It was a hard problem but Kesa kept trying different methods and eventually fixed the problem for us. He is the hero of our day for sure.

The technician arrived after my scheduled window but I understand that each job is different and can take extra time. I was pleased that my clogged tub drain was fixed quickly. My technician was very polite and professional. The cost was a bit of a shock to be honest but it's a job that I wasn't able to do on my own even after 4 hours and the work comes with a 90 day warranty. Overall, I'm very happy with my results. I will definitely call again if necessary.

Too expensive for what was done. $90.00 for them to come out. Another $208.00 for him to pull the water line to make the determination that it was the faucet that was the problem. Won't refer this business to anyone.

I had a backed up mainline that needed routing, leaving me without a usable toilet when I have three. on a weekend. Kesa was great. This was the only company that could perform service on this day. Seriously, called about 12 to 15 other places and no one could provide same-day service. Their projected arrival time was accurate and Kesa was a great communicator, efficient and easy-going. From the time I called until the time he cleaned up and left was about five hours. Couldn’t be happier. There’s no doubt who I will call for my next emergency.

So this isn't a bad review of the service I received this is simply a public service message. I called and made an appointment to have some come out and clear a kitchen sink drain and was given the option of a 10 am to 2 pm slot or 2 pm to 6 pm. I chose 10 to 2. After 4 hours no one showed up or contacted me so I called. I was told there would be a delay and they had no information other than that. 30 minutes later I was contacted and said they were not going to be able to get anyone out today. So, I understand that things come up, but I wasted 4 and a half hours of my day waiting with no heads up. So just be prepared that if you schedule with these folks that they over schedule and theres a good chance that you will end up wasting a good chunk of your day waiting on them. Fortunately I had another appointment set up with Proline already.

Kyle and his team were great. We had a minor leak in the basement of our clinic that kept coming and going and no one could figure it out. A few days in to the heavy rain this Spring the water start rising, first 3 inches, then 6 then 12. Kyle showed up at 2 on Friday and worked to stabilize the situation until 8 pm that night. He was then back first thing Monday morning to finish the job and prevent a complete flooding of our business. He was prompt, thorough, very professional and easy to work with.

Our water heater flex tube broke on Saturday morning, water was spraying to the top ceiling and flooded the garage. Tyson came out to our house the next day after the initial call and was knowledgeable and quick to determine the issues in a messy situation where previous repairs had left our plumbing in bad shape.He went over a couple of options but made a good case for replacing all our 100yo drains so we went with that. The neighbor called Rescue Rooter to clear out a drain that had stopped working. I interacted with the service person as I had been involved with the problem early on. Kesa tried one solution and when that didn’t work he tried another solution and it was a success. The drain works better than it was working for the last 10 years. I would call him again if I was in need of this service.

We called Rescue Rooter after contacting another well known plumbing service and turning them away when they quoted us nearly $400 to unclog our shower drain and then tried to sell is a protection plan. Kesa was amazing! He gave us a reasonable quote. We had a very challenging clog. He worked hard to loosen it. He went above and beyond by taking the time to checkout our crawl space and taking pictures to show me what the problems were. He was able to release our clog and refer us for the more extensive work we would need. I appreciated his friendliness and attention to detail.

Our plumbing technician, Kesi, was on site within an hour after I called in the late afternoon. He was professional and friendly and gave us clear options/ prices to get our clogged plumbing cleared up. No pressure to chose the more expensive option. Hopefully we don't need a plumber anytime soon but I would use them again and request Kesi.

Andrew was very friendly and got the job done quickly. I tried to unclog the drain myself with no avail. Tip, don’t put egg shells down your garbage disposal and save yourself some money. But it you do call these guys and they will come and save you. It wasn’t cheap but the price was given upfront so I knew what I was getting myself into.

Finally showed up 2 days late after ongoing excuses. Extremely expensive, and billing not based on the time worked. Asked the plumber if he turned the water back on before he left, and he said yes. Come to find out the next day we had very little hot water, and he didn't turn the hot water valve back on. Worst experience of any repair company.

Had I read the reviews I would’ve never scheduled.I scheduled to have my sump pump serviced and was told by three different individuals that there was no service fee; free estimate and just pay for the work/equipment.On the first scheduled appointment, I was called two hours prior to the appointment saying they would have to rebook. On the second scheduled appointment I called 15 minutes before the four hour window was up and they said that they had to reschedule!!! I rearrange my entire schedule for them to come out .Four days later on the third scheduled visit I was told there was a $99 fee for them to come to my house when I was called to confirm my appointment. The scheduler I spoke to was very nice and she said she heard other complaints about customer service reps stating there was no service fee and free estimates. She stated free estimates don’t apply to a plumbing issue even though when I called it was to schedule service on my sump pump.??? I even talked to three people because I thought it was sketchy that I couldn’t really find a website that included an address and an Oregon CBI #, the confirmation email came from Washington with a Washington license number. When called to speak to different reps, I asked about the free estimate and it was confirmed every time for my sump pump that the estimate was free.Carl was the technician, he was very nice. He wanted to charge $885 flat fee just to take the sump pump apart and see if anything was wrong with it~ The fee did not include a new sump pump.I obviously said no, paid $99 and was able to watch YouTube videos to take the sump pump out and submerge in a bucket of water to determine my sump pump was not working and purchased one for about $250 at Home Depot.Call center reps were terrible, unprofessional and overbooked seeming to monopolize.The scheduler was very kind and the tech was nice.

1. Make sure you check the website for deals ($88 special) as you will get higher quotes for more extensive services once a tech arrives. I am assuming the techs are required to offer the higher cost services once at your residence.2. My tech Jordan C. was great! Professional, friendly, patient w/ my questions, and efficient!Also, Jordan was very nice and engaging w/ my young son who was very curious & asked a lot of questions!3. Jordan C. Did the job & had my shower draining in a very swift amount of tine! He was very solid!The only reason this is a 4 star and not a 5 star is the timeframe wasn’t met. It wasn’t terrible, I was quoted 12-4, but it was about 4:30p when the technician showed up. It would have been much more helpful to us if they could have arrived earlier in that time frame (12-2 for ex.). I have a clogged kitchen sink drain which couldn't be fixed after finding out there is a rusted out iron pipe under the concrete floor. The plumber called in a coworker to do a camera review and they both explained all the issues and resolutions. They gave me a quote and were very understanding that I needed to get a couple more quotes. Very professional and easy going; no feeling of pressure. Careful to keep areas clean. And no charge since clearing the drain wasn't possible. This was a good experience and I would recommend them.

I used Angi's List to find someone who could clear my clogged shower drain today. I got a few names to try. Rescue Rooter contacted me before I even got a chance to call them or others on the list. I wanted a same day appointment and they scheduled it for me. At 5:45 PM I got a call from Rescue Rooter who said they wanted to reschedule for sometime tomorrow. I said no. I was then unable to find anyone else to do the job so late in the day. I feel like Rescue Rooter was dishonest with me. They got to me first, promised me something they couldn't deliver and backed out after it was too late to find someone else.

Alejandro showed up on time and gave good detail on how he was going fix our clogged drain. He was polite and professional. I will be using Rescue Rooter for all of our plumbing issues.

Took 9 hours to arrive after I reached out. Cost $487 to unplug a shower drain. I’d have declined but it was too late to find another service. Even for a Sunday 485 is a lot of money for less than an hour’s work. Rescue rooter needs to give rates up front.

Quick assessment and I knew what the cost options were going to be for a minor and major repair right away. Shut off valve needed to be replaced which was extra but everything was completed in about an hour and twenty minutes. Nice professional service. Appreciate the kindness of the salesperson/technician more than anything.

I appreciate that they put a camera down the line and showed me exactly what the issue was. Kevin and Dave came out to my house. They were both friendly, professional, and cleaned up after themselves.Sunday morning my wife ran a load of laundry and we found the water was rising, not draining! Our main sewer line was completely blocked and water/sewage was backing up into the basement (I'm glad we have an unfinished basement!). We called Rescue Rooter around 10am Sunday morning and waited for four hours, but nobody became available during the scheduled time. Instead, we left the house and re-scheduled for later that night. We were annoyed about the wait, but Rescue Rooter called multiple times with updates.Kevin showed up around 6pm and quoted us $320 to cable the sewer line, and more to pressure wash. Looking at other reviews it sounds like the prices are steeper than other companies. After 2+ hours of hard work, the blockage did not budge. Dave showed up to run a camera and locate the blockage, which appeared to be in the city's line, not mine. Because the drain remained blocked, I was not charged for the 3+ hours of work.The next day I contacted the city of Portland who told me that I needed to have Dave run his camera again with city contractors present. Dave scheduled to meet with me on Tuesday in the afternoon. In the end, the blockage was on the city line and they are responsible for fixing the issue.Knowing what I know now, here is my takeaway:- If you are given a four hour window for when someone will arrive, assume they might not show up for 4 hours. If you need someone NOW, then keep calling around- Try to get an estimate over the phone and make sure the rate you are quoted is competitive- If I had known more about the process, I could have gotten the city to show up on that same Sunday night when we initially ran the camera. The city contractors work 24hrs. Either way, it was going to be a multi-day process.

Rescue Rooter Jack Howk is my first call for any plumbing needs. I used them the first time we needed help in our home we have been in since 2007. The service was prompt, professional and experience was amazing. Over the years, they have helped replace sinks, toilets, and even replaced the burst pipe. Couple of days back when I saw some slow moving water in our bathtubs, I called them. They gave an appointment the same day and showed up. They even told me that the Drano I used must have unclogged it (although they recommended not to use it), and that I may be good for some time without getting it cleaned. Since they were here, we decided to get it professionally cleaned. With the discounts they offer through coupons or for return customers, the prices were reasonable and we have happy free flowing drains. We are a happy customer.

The Technician (Matt) who showed up was a really nice young man and did his job well. Dispatch communication was very good as well. Still dealing with sticker shock on the cost of clearing a drain at nearly $700. Wanting the plumbing fixed and needing to move on I made the decision to pay and proceed but it feels excessive for the process and time involved. Approximately $250. An hour that included drive time.

I have done business with this company for almost 18 years now and have never had a bad experience with them. Today Chris D was just awesome. Chris has made plumbing repairs for me before and remains an awesome and honest worker. Thank you Chris and a very Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Anton did an outstanding professional job for my mother. It took some time, however he ensured that the problem of the back up was taken care of. He couldn't get it to flush out underneath the sink so he went underneath the house to see how the pipes were laid out, then even had to go on top of the roof to go through the dryer vent. He was very determined to get it cleared and didn't stop no matter what he had to do to get the lines cleaned out. Very impressive. He even put everything back and cleaned up. I would recommend him every time.

I had a leak on my side of the water meter that required the valve and pipe to be replaced. RR took 3 days to get someone out, despite the 24/7 claim. The price was high, but having been without water for 3 days, I needed it done. Ultimately, Im satisfied with the work and would use them again in the future because Jason and Chris seem like good guys.

When calling to schedule an appointment for a plumbing problem, the rep is always sympathetic and professional getting a repair tech scheduled as quickly as possible.The main office keeps the customer updated as to time of arrival and the repair tech calls when he is on his way.Brandon, the tech who was here this time, was knowledgeable and professional as well explaining exactly what the problem was and the different options to repair it.The work he did was effective, and he explained what he was doing. He was very patient with our questions. His work area was kept clean so when he was finished, there was no mess left.I highly recommend this company.

I called on Saturday Labor Day weekend and within three hours they had a plumber to my house. The pricing and options were a bit confusing the way he presented them to us to clear our drains so after he finished we were a bit taken back by the price. I think it could have been much more straight forward. So the drain needed to be scoped because he found some tree roots with his drain snake but he didn’t have the camera with him. He sent Jason out on Tuesday to check with the camera so we were able to diagnose the problem. He also was very receptive to my feedback on the first service so they included the camera service and refunded about 20%. I now feel we got treated fairly and was well worth their service. Everyone was very professional and polite. I would use their service again and may have them do some further work on my main line depending on the root problem.

Our sewer lines were clogged during business hours. Rescue rooter was able to send out Carl right away to fix our problem. He arrived quickly and resolved everything in about an hour!

We had a leak in our main service line from the street to the house. Jack Howk Plumbing sent out their representative, Jason to give us an estimate. Jason was very helpful and informative. Gave us the estimate and promised there would be no surprise added fees. After agreeing on the contract, he gave us his cell phone number to call if we had any questions or problems through the repair process. We called a couple of times with questions and he always returned our calls promptly. The plumber who came out, Chris deLongchamps, was very friendly and helpful. His work was excellent and he also gave us his number to call if we have any questions or problems in the future. They completed the repair for the price quoted. No surprises. We have been very happy with the service provided by the Jack Howk team and would definitely recommend them.

Rescue Rooter does awesome work. When every toilet in our house backed up, they were there quickly and assessed and fixed the problem within an hour. Levi was friendly and efficient and did a great job of explaining what was going on and why. We have used Rescue Rooter before and would do so again.

Had a block in my main and was expecting on a Sunday and needing service that day, I would be expecting a hefty bill. It was expensive but considering they responded within 3 hours of call and it was a Sunday it was more than reasonable. I was not going to comment but you were persistent. We had already ran a 50' snake down the drain. So they came in with a 100 ' and ran almost the whole thing out and were not hitting anything . Went outside and discovered it was coming out the vent appx 50 ' down the roof and back yard. So we had to go up on the roof and guide the snake down the vent. They tried again and the same thing happened. So they ran the camera down and found the blockage by using something showed the camera stopped. Came with price 6 times the original quote which entailed digging up the front yard access the pipe. It would been a lot more cost effective to access the pipe under the house. So after six hour I had to go home I asked the guy digging the hole to call me when found the problem. He did not call they were secretive about the problem.i asked for copies of the pictures they took on tuesday and I never got any pictures. I feel they total advantage of me and my 91 year old mom basically held us hostage. 0 stars

Highly Recommend!! Two of my toilets clogged and neither Draino or a snake fixed it. I called RR's 24hr service line that night and I got an appointment the next morning. My serviceman Carl was so incredibly helpful (shared advice), professional and personable - and funny. The drain that was clogged showed up after the purchase of the home, and as such, the state of the plumbing was unknown. Though it was a problematic drain, he continued until the job was complete. 10/10, would use again.

We had a water heater emergency, in which a technician show up on time but without touching the water heater his immediate diagnosis was for me to buy a new water heater. After spending 5min doing the same troubleshooting (lighting the pilot) that I did previously , his recommendations was buy a new one. Kesa was excellent in both service and repair of sadly clogged kitchen drain. Bumped repair 1 star as I had to take a second day off work when Jack Howk plumbing could not send a plumber out as promised on Wednesday. I had called Tuesday morning, promised Wednesday, but didn't get repair until Thursday. But final result was excellent.

I had a burst toilet pipe, and was scheduled for an 8am to noon appointment the next day. At 10:35am, they called to inform me that they had to cancel, because we just don't have the plumbers...I guess my home job was too small to be bothered with. As my home was without toilet service, they should have at LEAST called at 8am instead of waiting until later, so I could have called another Plumber much earlier. Thanks for nothing, Rescue Rooter!

Responded quickly to a drain clog, and found major issues with the rest of the plumbing that could have been a disaster, Tyson gave estimates, and returned with Matthew to start the job of replumbing the whole house! Matthew worked diligently on the project, often in tight, and dirty spaces, and we appreciated his cheerful attitude! He always communicated with us what he was doing, and went above and beyond to do a little extra, and made sure we were comfortable with all that was going on. Also, very good about cleaning up the areas he worked in after a days work. One of the days, (5 total) Tyson returned with Matthew to finish up the job, and both worked very hard to get it finished. Though they completed the work in the scope, I would NOT recommend. 1) I felt rushed and pressured to pay before the work was completed. 2) Was promised someone was coming to complete finishing touches. It hasn't happened and at this point I don't expect they will. 3) Had no regard for my lawn or irrigation system during sewer line replacement. I expected somewhat of a mess, but they didnt put any plywood down and were laughing as they destroyed my new lawn. When I asked if they were going to fix the pipe they dug up and broke, I was told we don't deal with irrigation. Byron was great though.

We had a toilet completely clog late on a weekend. We called and had someone at our house within a couple of hours. They were able to resolve the issue quickly. They were very courteous and respectful.

I reached out via the website in the evening, and got a call the next morning to schedule an appointment window for the following day. I got a call 30 minutes before the technician arrived, and he was fantastic - very professional, very quick to diagnose the problem with my garbage disposal, and provided some additional recommendations (with estimates). I don't plan to replace the disposal right away - but when I am ready to do so, I will definitely be using this company again.

Graham did a good job finding the leak, doing the repair, and cleaning up the area. Not sure why replacing the damp insulation and repairing the wall was not included in the service.

I called Rescue Rooter on a Saturday due to a water leakage problem. Within two hours a plumber (Tyson) showed up at my door. He quickly diagnosed the problem and thoroughly explained the repair work that would be needed to fix the problem. Before calling RR, I had already contacted several other plumbers and in every case the response was, 5-7 days before we can send someone out. Unacceptable when you have a significant water leakage problem. I was thankful that RR provided me same day service. As it turned out, the main water line to my house was leaking and had to be replaced. Tyson, the plumber, was a pleasure to work with. He was exceedingly pleasant and professional and above all highly skilled as a plumber. Any home owner who has had to replace a broken main knows it's a costly job. It can also be very messy. In my case the procedure used was trenchless water main replacement. No digging, no mess. I was pleased with the outcome and satisfied with the quality and reasonable cost of the finished project. Kudos to Tyson and to Rescue Rooter.

We had a bad emergency - the supply line from the street ruptured due to very old pipes and we had to scramble to keep the basement from being flooded! Of course it was on a Sunday night! After the Water Bureau came and turned off our water, we were faced with the prospect of 3 adults in a house with no water (toilets. showers etc). When Howk couldn't fix it all in one day, they rigged up some garden hoses so we could have water again until it was fixed. Hallelujah!! They were so nice, did a great job, and their plumber Peter was so kind and did a caring, exemplary job for us. (Senior discount, too!) I would recommend them completely and hire them again in a heartbeat! (Technician Jason was also extremely professional as well as kind and caring) Thank you Jack Howk Plumbing! Five stars from us!

Was helped by Thomas for an installation, and he was great! Everything went very smoothly, his communication was excellent as he was able to answer everything I was curious about. I will definitely be working with Rescue Rooter again for future repairs!!

When I called the company, the said the $88 drain cleaning will apply as long as it is less than 75’. When they came. It is only 10’ but they quoted me over $500. I told them it is too expensive. They said the $88 special is for soft and small drain clean out. But I really need to get it done otherwise toilet will be unusable. After hard negotiation, they dropped down to $300. In 15mins, they unclogged it and said it is a soft clog. This company seems charging unreasonable and take advantage of the situation to charge me. Very dishonest!!!

Kesa assisted with finding roots in our main sewer line. He was consistent, very professional, hard working, and patient. He showed me where the problem was, the probable cause and possible solutions. He did not push any products on me. Thomas was very courteous and helpful. The glog under the kitchen sink cleared on its own about 30 mins before he arrived. I was very pleased with the work done by an employee named Wilson. He was extremely professional, polite, and great at his job. He did wonderful at answering all my questions, and being very respectful to my home. I appreciated him being on time, and receiving a call when he was on his way.

Woke up to a shower that did not drain at all. Not fun. Called these guys because of the internet deal and was able to make a same-day appointment. Steve was our tech. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He whipped up an estimate and then got right to work. Less than an hour later he had fished out a truly disgusting clump of hair which I promise also belonged to the previous owners because I don’t shed THAT much and we have a thingy that catches hair before it goes down the drain. He was also kind enough to clear a sink drain that would have taken me a long time to do but he did in a matter of minutes. The price was right, Steve was great, and we are happy homeowners with clear bathroom drains.

Steve wentabove and beyond his duties as a repairman he helped be clogged and unclog our plumbing and made it official for a bus business to be able to run at maximum. In the future if we have problems with her Plumbing we will again call upon Steve and his Corporation to come and fix our Plumbing

My hot water tank broke and water went everywhere in my garage on Christmas Eve. It was at 12p so I didn’t think it would be fixed in time. Thought I’d have to wait but thankfully a service tech showed up in under an hour and we had hot water that night!! Can’t say enough about how professional and quick he worked. Highly recommend.

I was very sad/frustrated with my experience. The technician didn't want to listen/hear that I only need my tub unplugged. He arrived with a preconceived notion my problem was with my main drain. He did a lot of unnecessary work and charged for it. I paid almost $500 to get my tub unclogged. I've called the Corporate Customer Care Relations 4 times and have been told every time I would hear from someone within 24hrs with a decision/resolution. No return call as of yet.. going on 2wks now. The technician pressured my daughter into giving him a 5 star rating (I wasn't present) so that he could receive a bonus which would all go to his children. Very, very bad experience.

Charles did an excellent job installing new storm drains. He had to cut and remove concrete and bricks. Charles knows exactly how to tackle the problem, works fast, has a GREAT attitude, seems to really enjoy his work, answered all our questions, and left our home neat. I had a water line burst And called this company for service. I was told I would have a plumber at my house between 10 and 4 the next day. I waited and waited and I finally called them to find out where the plumber was. I was told that somebody would call me back. When the person call me back he informed me they did not have a plumber to send out at all ever and he was really sorry but that's just the way that it was. Very unprofessional. Didn't care at all that he left me totally in the lurch and that I had to start over trying to find somebody to fix my problem. I wouldn't use this company if they were the last plumber on Earth.

I needed my clogged kitchen drain cleared. Tried it myself with no luck. Contacted Rescue Rooter who offered an $88 service call to open a clogged drain. They promised a four hour window for the next day.Charles arrived a little more than half way through the promised time. He listened to my explanation of the problem and its' genesis, stated that the $88 dollar service call would fix the problem. It took him 15 minutes to clear the blockage. He replaced a broken plastic fitting, gave me advice on how not to see him again anytime soon and took my Visa for payment. Not even a hint of upsell.I could not be happier. OK, maybe if he attacked the accumulated dishes on the counter.Charles came when promised, did what I needed for the price advertised and was totally pleasant. What more do you want?
